Dan wandered into the store where he knew shards could be traded and looked around. It was a comfy little building with a long cabin feel due to the thick pine boards that held up the establishment. He felt bored so he made his way around the store until he came to a book shelf where TMs were stacked up like on DVD racks. His fingers ran across the TMs until he came to one titled "TM 09 Venoshock". He waved his hand in the air and said, "Could someone check me out?" before wandering to the front of the store to get this assistance.

❂ Hawthorne
The man up front looked as if he bathed on the soil of Mt.Moon, and he reeked of grass and sweat. He was built for hard labor, and he enjoyed working so close to the mines. He gave Dan a crusty smile as dirt caked his lips, and he kept his cheery eyes on the lad as he roamed through the TMs. Had to make sure no one was stealing his stuff, after all!
It looked as if his customer made up his mind, and Hawthorne straightened up as Dan approached the counter. "Is that everything you need?" He asked, tempting the trainer to spend any additional shards he had on hand. Regardless of the trainer's response, he rang up the purchase and helped complete the transaction. Everything was good to go!

Kyle walked over to the Shasta Ruins with shards in hand and approached the burly old man out front. "Hey old man! I have 15 shards. I'd like to buy the TM Work Up." he said with a smile as he waited for the man to give him his TM.
Aaron also walked into the ruins with Shards in hand before moving next to Kyle. "Old man. I'd like to buy the TM Psychic." he said as he held out an accurate amount of Shards for him to buy it with.

The burly man could sometimes be confused with Santa Claus especially when he got into one of his "rants" like today. "Ho! Ho! Ho! 45 shards! Now this is the life. This is the life!" He said realizing that he was going to get 30 shards for psychic and 15 for work up. This was perfect. "Merry! Merry! Merry Day!" He said as he gave the two TM for 45 shards. -45 shards

She had just gathered a large amount from the ruins and was eager to spend them. Her friend, Abi, had always talked of her favourite legend, concerning an aerodactyl, so Marlaey was going to revive a fossil for her as a surprise. Grinning up at the man she offered him her bag of shards and pointed to the Old Amber near his elbow. "Could I have that one there please?" she asked politely. -45 shards (M,18) x (F,12) [/style] [style=padding: 10px;]NOTES HERE. [/style] [/style][/style]

"Ho! Ho! Ho!" The large burly man had a fetish for shards so whenever people were willing to offer, he got a bit excited and a bit sweaty in the process. As he saw the new girl come in to get a fossil he first had to blink a few times to wonder why she wanted such a thing. But in the end he did not question it. Heck, she probably would have some purpose for the old amber, possibly having a certain Aerodactyl as a wishlist pokemon of hers so he did not question it too much. "Sure thing. You want it? You got it!" He eventually said as he took the shards and gave her the old amber. "nice doing business with you!"

But he was here now and with a new purpose to fulfill: To train a new Pokémon that would be a fine addition to the main team. He looked at the large jolly man, wondering if he was still into singing random pop songs. Tristan only shrugged as he pulled out 90 shards. "Hey there. I would like to buy three TM's. Earthquake, Thunderbolt, and Ice Beam Please."

❂ Hawthorne
Hawthorne couldn't quite say that he remembered Tristan's face, as the darkness of the Shasta Ruins partially covered it. What he could see were small details of his face, but everything else was partially covered by the hood Tristan liked to wear. His voice stuck out compared to the usual hollering that went on down here, and even now, Hawthorne could hear trainers giving their Pokemon commands as they continued to dig deeper into the mines. It was a satisfying thing to think about, considering all of the profits of their hard work went right to him. "TMs, yes yes." Hawthorne considered the request and stared up at the ceiling.
He only paid attention to Tristan once the shards were presented to him, and he greedily snatched them up. Licking his lips as he put the bag of shards on a scale, he measured it to make sure that Tristan had enough. All 90 shards were there, so Tristan was one lucky man. Gathering all 3 powerful TMs up, he handed them over to Tristan to complete the transaction.
