Warden's Blight: A Dragon Age Roleplay « Result #3 on Nov 16, 2009, 9:54pm »
years since the last Blight, the kingdom of Ferelden has finally began to rebuild its villages that were ravaged by the darkspawn. Burnt trails leave their mark on the countryside, but members of all races will never forget the sacrifice that was made in the defense of their country. The Grey Warden who took his final stand against the winged Archdemon lives on through the people he assisted in his journey, and his gallantry will be praised by bards for centuries to come. Once again, this proud and capable order of warriors has found its place as revered protectors of Thedas.
Consequently, Ferelden’s own band of Grey Wardens has been reduced to one. With the capital city of Denerim in its final stages of reconstruction, the King of Ferelden has set his sights on bolstering the ranks of Wardens to protect his realm which is still recovering from the Blight. Searching for the most promising recruits—whether they be human, dwarf, or elf—Alistair picks up where Duncan originally left off, hopeful in his task to rebuild the ranks before it has become too late.
Meanwhile, Elven and Human relations have become particularly strained as the theft issue in the Alienage is being scrutinized by royal soldiers. Neighboring Humans have also begun poaching and lumbering in the home of the Dalish, the Brecillian Forest, in hopes of restocking the supplies that were spent. And with the death of the Dwarven king, King Harrowmont, the situation below-ground has once again turned to violence and tension. Many speak of the deeds of the Grey Warden of the last Blight, but as the strain increases between the races, will those reminders of order keep the circumstances from boiling over?
Although the threat of a Blight has been destroyed, what will prevent Ferelden from tearing itself apart? The kingdom is in need of new heroes, new champions to rise amongst their own people to take the reins, to become the new Grey Wardens.
Warden’s Blight is a roleplay set in the world of Thedas, focused on writing the story of the aftermath of Dragon Age: Origins. We have just opened our doors, and are welcoming all canon and custom characters!
A wish was all it took to change the Pokémon world as we know it. Every 1,000 years the legendary Pokémon Jirachi graces us with his presence. Jirachi has the ability to grant anyone anything their heart desires. Only after he is awake and befriends the person who has awakened him can he grant their wish. He was woken up by a little boy with a pure voice. Soon after Jirachi decided to grant the young boys wish to become a Pokémon, but Jirachi misunderstood the wish and instead of just turning the boy into a Pokémon, he changed every human into a Pokémon, a Pokémorph to be exact and reshaped the world into a new one. A world that was once filled with humans and Pokémon is a thing of the past. You must adventure through this world through the eyes of not only a human, but a Pokémon as well.

Yami, the Dark Lord, has been defeated by Amaterasu. It seems peace has been restored to Nippon; or has it? There is a new threat. A threat beyond anyone's understanding or control of. But, not only that, but it is far mysterious. It creeps slowly, a killer. It is the new head of Darkness, and it is angry. No one has seen it. No one can control it, or it's underlings that scavenge across Nippon. What will you do? What will you become? Decide yourself, and change the fate of yourself, as well as Nippon.

...and the gods themselves do tremble
Welcome to Avalon, the playground of the demigods. The great sun god Tonatiuh rules over all of creation, but as time goes on the other gods grow bored as they wait for the games of divinity to come round once more. When that day comes the demigods will rise up and battle for their parent gods... or they might just say "f*#k you",no doubt in a pleasant and loving tone, and then go on about their day. And what of the mortals will they take up arms for their beloved gods once more only to ravage and destroy the land they call home? It's hard to tell but as Tonatiuh grows weary and Yue, goddess of the moon, dances upon his headboard the winds of Avalon are certainly changing; or perhaps Njord, god of the highlands, is just casting false winds. The question still stands though, that when the battle begins where will you stand?
The evil Team Rocket has been in the shadows for a long while, causing no disturbances to people and Pokémon alike, they were almost forgotten about entirely. Then when least expected, an important piece of mystery of all Pokemon, disappeared. Now, the world of Pokémon is in havoc as many new types of Pokémon that have never been seen before are released; untamed, angry, confused, and taking it out on the trainers and their Pokémon. Team Rocket is stronger then they have ever been, stealing Pokémon and things that have been said to lead to other worlds, other Pokemon, other legendaires. It's up to the trainers of this shattered world to try and put it back together in their process to stop Team Rocket from doing anymore harm.
There are many legends... The region of Physis has gotten off to a great start, much to the surprise of the Committee in charge of the development of the series of islands. Trainers have swarmed to the growing region and gym leader proposals have been popping up nonstop. But with growth also comes a demise... A band of evil doers, who call themselves Team Mukal, have also migrated to the series of islands known as the Physis Region. They bring odd experiments and a machine that can disrupt the soul of a living creature with them. Weird colored Pokemon, whose power is greater than their counterparts, and Pokemorphs are created. Some escape, only to live in fear and eventually be brought into Mukal’s grasp once more. What is their purpose? Not a single person knows, but whatever the intention, it isn’t for good. Will you join the ranks of Team Mukal, or will you help the fight against them, however futile?
------------- Physis Region is a moderate to advanced roleplay based off of the hit Pokémon games developed by GameFreak. At Physis Region, you can create characters ranging from Pokémon Trainers to citizens and anything in between.
After what seemed like an eternity, the members of Physis region are returning and roleplaying is, once again, going strong.
The Sera Region is a new and unique RPG that is seeking active and committed members. It is constituted by three main islands: Luso, Vida, and Tera. These are also accompanied by two secondary islands, Sil and Cane.
Your adventure will begin in the Luso Islands and everyone that wishes to become a trainer must receive their first Pokémon in Aqua City, where Prof. Jeane resides and has her laboratory. On the other islands there are also other interesting things to do, such as a training center in Vida Island, and of course the regular roleplaying. On Tera Island there is a Camp Site where every week is held a competition where Pokémon team up with their trainers and try to win to receive rare prizes and various other items.
The secondary islands are dangerous and almost inhabited; Sil has only a small town and Cane has a small rest center to rest and to heal Pokémons. In these areas there are exquisitely beautiful sights and these are where all the quests will be held. Entrance for these two islands are off limits, until there’s a boat ticket to take you there.
IT'S A NEW WORLD It's been a few thousands years since many animals; survivors of the wastes of a great war on Earth passed into the world of Zanzira, escaping from the gun fire and tainted ground. A lot has changed, including the creatures descended from these survivors. But a new threat has arisen.
LONG LIVE THE KING King Midas the II, the king after three rulers is aging, but his empire expands most of the super continent of Zanzira. His son grows stronger as his enters into his prime, but as he grows in strength his hunger for power grows too. Meanwhile his daughter; treated like dirt plans to over throw him and bring back the wilder ways. But despite this he plans to slaughter those who oppose him.
THE MISUNDERSTOOD Once the keepers of Zanzira, these creatures are feared by the King's Subjects - the slaves to the crown. Forced out from their homes, forced to either work for the crown or be banished into the wilderness of the north - or killed. They are the creatures that sought to rid of the Middle Kingdom rule - but have few allies. The future looks bleak for the wild ways.
UNCERTAINTY IN THE AIR Up in the roof of the world - the Northern Lands of Zanzira, The King of the Ice Bears and his fellow bears grow restless as omens speak of darkness and death. Some speak of a plague of sickness, some of demons. They all seem to point to the blood and flesh of Midas. Winter is becoming longer than usual, and healthy creatures on both sides are bearing stillborn or weak offspring.

The year is 2018, and everything is at peace. Voldemort has now become a simple name in a history book. Any Death Eaters that remain are wasting out the rest of their years in Azkaban. No one seems to have died from anything obscenely evil since the Second Wizarding War. Kingsley Shacklebolt is the current Minister of Magic, and is as kind and benevolent as he is stern, but is one of the best that England has seen for a rather long time. The Boy Who Lived (and Defeated Voldemort), Harry Potter, is still alive and well, enjoying his position as an Auror and has a happy family life, thank you very much. Even his friends are living their lives happily.
But this quiet and peaceful life can only last for so long.
Recently, there has been an underground upsurge of the 'Ancients', the original creators of the Horcruxes. There is even talk that this strange group has succeeded in such a grisly task, and they now walk amongst us. Despite the attempts to keep it quiet by the Ministry, news spreads quickly, regardless of how they hear about it... It is just a matter of time...
Pax Libertas is a semi-advanced, literate, future Harry Potter board that takes many of the canons out of the roleplay to make room for original characters in the magical world of witchcraft and wizardry. The option is there to play the children of your favorite character, but the emphasis will remain on those who roleplay, not those with canon characters (unless, of course, those overlap).

Hello, I am Professor Willow. Don't doubt my knowledge because I'm so young, I've studied with the most prestigious Professors in the world you know! Welcome to the Celes Region. I invite you to go out and explore, I'm sure you will find many interesting new Pokémon.
You see, 25 years ago, a hidden pass was discovered in the mountains of Sinnoh, leading to an unexplored land full of new Pokémon. The pair that had discovered the pass was a couple that happened to be Professors. They had been studying Pokémon in the mountains when the ground gave out beneath them and they slid down into the pass. Exploring further they found new Pokémon they had never seen or heard of before. With this discovery, more seasoned trainers who had explored other known regions became interested and traveled to the new land. They set up camps that slowly became settlements, villages, and eventually towns and cities until Celes came to be the way it is today. The region was named after the couple who discovered it, who had the last name of Celeste. Their son and daughter are now Gym Leaders in the region.
In the past year, rumors of a certain Team Nova have been cropping up. No one really knows what they want, but it doesn't seem to be anything good. In truth, they wish to capture the Lunar and Solar Eclipse Pokémon. With these two powerful Legendaries, the Team would have the ability to thrust the world into complete darkness. In response to this Team, the Pokemon Rangers have set up a base in the region, hoping to thwart their plans, whatever they may be. In the mean time, life goes on. Trainers challenge Gyms. Coordinators plan their routines for the next Contest. Breeders lovingly tend their Pokémon.

THERE'S A MEDAL WAITING FOR THE TEAM THAT NEVER STOPS THE PATH IS LONG AND WINDING AND IT'S EASY TO FORGET the golden islands WE'RE PLAYING FOR EACH OTHER, PLAYING FOR THE GOLD - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - the coordinators, they rarely got the spotlight. it was always either trainers or breeders or researchers who tended to get the most atte ntion. there were five leagues dedicated to just trainers. and what di d the coordinators have? just two regions with contest halls. that is, until the few top coordinators decided to make a difference. they ha d heard tales of a new group of growing islands, and decided they w ould take hold of it before those petty trainers. so they went, and fo llowing the example of the orange islands, they started their work. i t was slow, but they persisted like the stubborn and determined mu les they were, until they finally had everything set up. the golden isl ands, where a coordinator could have their taste of undivided attent ion from the world. they could go and participate in contests, held o n five of the nine islands, before they could participate in the final i sland, to take a chance at winning the grand cup. to take a chance to go for the gold
FALLING STARS is an Avatar based roleplay, taking place three centuries after the series. The world has enjoyed a slumbering peace, the nations having become quite the best friends. However, recent events have caused a sudden explosion of chaos. The Earth Nation has split into two Kingdoms due to a civil war after the death of their Great King, and the Fire Nation along with the Western Water tribe have set out to help the legitimate King of the North Earth Kingdom. Meanwhile, the Avatar has gone missing after creating a utopia within the sky which brought upon the worlds hatred towards him. Now those whom suspect he is dead await for the next Avatar to appear.

enter sins of impunity. a place where you can sin without testing the hands of judgment; where you can kill without worrying about the consequences. sins of impunity is a site where you may commit all sorts of wrong doings and never get caught. never. this is why supernatural beings block to new york by the dozens. vampires and werewolves alike, all hoping to make an easy life for themselves. and how couldn't they with such bountiful prey of the oblivious new yorkers?
only the supernatural seem to have forgotten a minor detail. that where such evil beings flock to, the good, the righteous and the half crazy flock too; the one and only, the hunters. still more yet is the fact that the lines between white and black blur. what if some hunters are pure evil while vampires and weres have some good in their number? pureness in their hearts? what happens when everything is gray? where do you stand within sins of impunity?

The god Pokémon has warped time itself, making sure the one's who saved the lives of others' were not born. To prevent an attack she made all the Pokémon stuck in their human form. No one knows who is doing this, just the suspicions of the ones who caused trouble over the years. Could it be the rebel Deoxys? The vengeful Dialga? Or maybe the mad scientist Mewtwo. But as they become more and more human they continue to lose their powers that make them special. But the legends? Where are they? Some have split up and made their own life refusing to accept their fate. Others are lurking in the shadows, waiting for the time to come out. Arceus, though, is slowly killing them off one by one, the first victim, mew, as he dropped dead on the ground, twitching. The Legends of course are panicking by the fact they need everyone to summon Arceus and defeat her. Now, all that is left are but 20 Legendaries."
