The door to the trainer's lounge flew open as a nineteen year old female flung herself in and pushed against the wind to shut the door behind her. A snowstorm was brewing and she swore that when she stepped outside of her hotel a few minutes before it was just a light snow fall. Shivering, the brunette bustled her feet over to the fireplace that the trainer's lounge had in the corner and tried to ignore the other refugees from the storm's stares. Maybe her flushed from embarrassment face count be hidden as one red from the cold?Nevoa felt feeling return to her limbs and only then did she start to remove some of her winter accessories. Pulling down her hood of her jacket she shook out her hair and sighed. The snow had seeped through the hood and drenched her head. She would be leaving the building no time soon at this rate unless she wanted ice for her hair instead. Looking around the main room a small smile touched her lips as she took in the remolding since she had last stepped foot inside the safe haven. Since she'd be here awhile she might as well look around and she couldn't help but feel drawn to what was labeled the "Economy Center." From the sign to the side of the entrance way it seemed to be a trading and selling center from trainers. Curiosity would over take her as she deserted the fireplace and strode through the doors.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Sam walked into the economy room looking around at the people there. He spotted a girl who was perfect height for him, 5'4, and with brown hair and brown eyes. She was tan and her shoulder length hair was extremely wet on that day which made her look more appealing. Sam walked into the room, almost shivering but he felt a lot warmer after looking at her.
He also found her somewhat attractive and decided to introduce himself and maybe even flirt with her... He took off his jacket and put it over her, I know a weird act to do when you do not even know the person. But then he leaned over and smiled at her... Introducing himself... <"Hi my name is Sam. You looked cold so I wanted to give you my jacket. What is your name?">
Sam asked this girl. He thought he was so smooth and expected a good response in return. But who knows what he would actually get... She could just think he's creepy and smack him in the face. He didn't expect that to happen but who knows

The Economy Center was astounding in the older teenager's eyes as she took it all in. The machines, the people, the pokemon. Everything in the room made her brain swirl in thoughts. Where was she to start? She wasn't exactly sure if she wanted anything, or needed anything for that matter, but who was she to say no to something if she could use it to help her find her missing Absol? Well she'd be an ever worse trainer then she already was that was for sure. Losing your pokemon? How pathetic.Nevoa couldn't help but frown at the thought. Granted the whole ordeal that started it all gave the situation more of a less threatening light but she even now, weeks later she couldn't fight off the negative thoughts of the whole thing. It was then, as she was distracted with her own thoughts that she felt something warm fall on her shoulders. Her brown eyes immediately widened as she swirled around to face the blond boy in front of her. He was taller then her and she couldn't place an age on him but she could assume that he was relatively close to her age. Give or take 3 years maybe. As he spoke to her she shifted uneasily and slid his jacket off her shoulders. "Um. Thank you.. Sam was it? But I'm alright I'll be okay...." Shifting her weight to her other foot she looked anywhere but the boy in front of her. Over his shoulder, at their feet, at the other trainers. Anywhere but him. "I'm Nevoa... Pleasure to meet you?" She gave a hesitant small smile to the male. Nevoa couldn't help but wonder if she could excuse herself to the bathroom or something and avoid talking to him. She wasn't all too good with people. She was much to shy. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Sam laughed and blushed a little seeing how nervous Nevoa was next to him. He thought it was because his tactic had worked and she was the shy type so she wasn't going to admit that she liked him or anything. Sam just gave her a smile as he looked at her in her whole ordeal. She was, give-or-take, three or four years older than him but age was just a number to him. She was cute, she seemed to have some kind of crush on him as she was nervous, and he just felt that they'd be fine together.
Sam considered what he would say next and began to lean on his seat while he pondered. Suddenly one of his pokeball caught the edge of the seat and the middle button was pressed, out of it came his Poochyena.
"What am I out? Who am I supposed to fight?" Poochyena said out loud... But all Sam heard was <"Arf. Arf. Arf. Arf.">
He then noticed that he was still there with Nevoa and decided to apologize for his Poochyena coming out.
<"Sorry about that. I guess I pressed the button by mistake. I had just gotten this Poochyena recently in the wild. It gave my Gligar a good battle so I felt it was a good pokemon to have on my team.">
He then realized how much he was talking about himself and not about her... and blushed so he began to ask her
<"So do you have any pokemon? I'd like to see yours if you wouldn't mind.">

Nevoa glanced down at the boy's jacket that she still held in her hand to avoid eye contact. Holding out an unsteady hand she muttered a quiet 'here' and waited for the object to leave her grasp. Once it was gone she'd grab her other arm and hold it to her side as she stood there, quite unsure of what to do now. Why did the male approach her again? Right she looked cold. Now she jest had to look warm and he'd find someone else right?Right as she decided that the bathroom escape route was her best, and only viable option, Sam's pokemon burst open in a red light that revealed a Poochyena. A bright smile appeared immediately on her face as she knelt down and grinned at the canine. "Awww. I love Poochyenas. I don't have one of my own though." The sight of the pokemon seemed to ease some of the tension she felt in the air. She always did find better comfort in pokemon than strangers, even if the pokemon themselves were strangers to her. The brunette couldn't help but laugh at Sam's comment of if she had pokemon or not. She was in the Trainer's Lounge was she not? She didn't say anything about that though and instead nodded her head to the question as she cast her gaze up to the male's face. "I have a full party, I don't want to bother you more then I already am." Chocolate brown eyes lingered back to the Poochyena but her thoughts drifted back to her party. Technically she didn't lie. She had a full party just one of her pokemon that was in her party happened to be MIA at the moment. She could easily replace... No replace wasn't a good word. She could easily substitute the pokemon, her Absol Elegy, out with one that was in her PC but she couldn't help the sense of betrayal that engulfed her after the thought. That was Elegy's position. No other pokemon's. She was however now thinking on the pokemon in her PC. To be honest she wasn't sure what to do with the trio. A Magby, Clefairy and Pidgey. None of them had been given names and she felt bad to the fact that she hadn't even really looked at them since she had gotten them. To be honest she couldn't even remember where she had gotten the Magby to begin with. Clefairy and Pidgey could be found on route one but a Magby? How strange. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Sam noticed that the girl liked Poochyena and that his pokemon had taken a liking to her. He smiled for a minute as she became much more appealing to him because she liked pokemon too, just like him. Maybe she liked them even more than him as this was the first time she was at ease. He also heard that she never had a Poochyena, and although he wasn't the type to normally do this... He decided that he should give her his Poochyena.
He hadn't had much experience with the pokemon and he only had positive feelings about it, but he felt she might be better with it than he himself was... She would probably have more of a use for his canine as she has immediately taken a liking to it and it has shown more affection to her than it had ever done for Sam himself. He sighed, as it was not conventional for a person to give away his pokemon to someone else... But he felt it would serve his purpose here to give it to her, especially if it'd make their relationship better in the long haul. He did find her a lot more attractive now, so getting on her good side would definitely be a positive.
<"You seem to like him very much, and he returns the favor to you too... I know I probably shouldn't be doing this but here. You can have Poochyena's pokeball">
He said as he handed the pokeball over to Neova. Poochyena looked at Sam as he handed the pokeball over and was confused
<"I'm sorry little buddy but I feel you would be much better with her than you are with me. I am glad we got to spend some time together though. I really enjoyed being with you. But I think she will be much better suited for you than I will be.">
He said as he patted his canine in the head. Poochyena did not really understand much of it but he did hear Sam's voice and did feel a little more at ease although he was being abandoned...
Sam was sad to let go of his pokemon, but he knew this was for the best...

Nevoa was way too distracted by her thoughts and the Poochyena that she only registered half of what Sam had said. She could have the canine pokemon? Free? No strings attached? Nothing in return? Oh no no no. She couldn't do that! Standing up from her crouch next to the canine she shook her hands in front of her as she tried to talk the male out of it. "I can't just take your pokemon because I like it, even if you're offering! What would you do with an attitude like that!" She laughed hesitantly before continuing. "If someone said that about all your pokemon then you wouldn't have any left!" She certainly couldn't take the pokemon from the male for nothing, that wouldn't be right, she wouldn't feel right. Already she had pokemon in her PC that she didn't have a... Need... For.. That was it! Suddenly the nineteen year old grinned before speaking, "What if I gave you a pokemon in return?" She had a look on her face as if it was the best idea she had thought of all day. "While I'm not going to break up my main team I do have three pokemon in my PC that might interest you. Might not though. Would you take a Magby, Clefairy, or Pidgey in exchange?" In the back of her mind she could only think that a male probably didn't want a Clefairy and two Pidgeys were fairly common, it wouldn't be too difficult to catch one yourself. But that Magby. It might have a chance in the trade right? [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Sam was taken aback when she rejected his offer to get he Poochyena and he began to have even more respect for her and have an even bigger liking/crush on her. She was also a genuinely nice person who did not stomp on the heart of someone who she could probably tell liked her. She didn't use her beauty to her advantage to get everything she wanted, she had a strict moral that she held to and this made her more appealing and even more attractive to Sam. And this made him want to give Poochyena over to her even more because he was completely sure now that she'd be a great owner for his canine. He heard that she was willing to trade for it and he listened to her offer. He did not want a Pidgey as his experience with them (Nick) wasn't the most pleasant. And he thought about getting a Clefairy as it was cute and could be very helpful for his team. Clefairy would be an awesome pokemon to have, but then he thought of what the third choice was... Magby... That was definitely the choice for him as he had always wanted a pokemon like Magby and he felt it would be much more helpful than either of the two. He quickly said to Nevoa <"I'll take the Magby if you do not mind. I have always wanted a pokemon like that."> and he handed her his pokeball with the Poochyena. Hoping she would take it this time. Nevoa grinned from ear to ear at Sam accepting her offer and immediately, and without thinking, grabbed his hand and started to drag him over to where on of the machines on the wall read PC. Looking back as she ran she gave him a reassuring grin before stopping in front of the machine. Pressing the familiar buttons she didn't bother to read the screen for directions and only stopped and actually paid attention when it came to the pokemon selection. She didn't want to accidentally give the him the wrong pokemon.Waiting a few seconds longer so that the machine could process her request she rocked back and forth on the ball of her feet. A soft hum slipped from her mouth in no set tune but as quickly as if had started it ended as a clank of the pokeball emerged from the PC. Grasping it in her hand she held it out for the male to take. "Take care of em? Doesn't have a name though so you can do that if you'd like." In return she grasped the ball of the Poochyena. Nevoa's brown eyes glanced up at the taller male and grinned. Sam was happy that she touched his hand. It was a score for him, even though she would never know how much. And he was glad to have gotten a Magby in return as he looked at the pokeball.
He opened it and out came the Magby who looked at him and then at Nevoa. He didn't know what was going on, having no clue that he was just traded... Maybe quickly looked at Sam and stuck out his hand for Sam to shake, hoping to burn him...
Sam knew and did not fall for the trick which made Magby huff... But he looked on to see what had just happened.
<"Thank you too. And you take good care of Poochyena. I never named him so you can do that if you wish. I hope you raise him well, he is very competitive and very strong.">
He then looked at Magby and decided to name him since he had not had a name before...
<"How do you like Blaze?"> He asked the Magby. It smiled and nodded, although it didn't really know why this trainer would ask when he belonged to the other one.
But then he noticed that his ball was with Sam and not with Nevoa. And he realized he had just been traded...
Blaze ran up to to Nevoa attempting to hug her as he did not want to leave. He wanted to stay with her... What will she do?
::Magby:: Hugging your feet as he does not want you to leave him with the new trainer. How will you respond?

Nevoa didn't release the Poochyena after she received it. Instead she placed it gently inside her coat pocket where her other pokeballs laid. She'd bring out the canine later where they could -attempt- to talk in a more secluded and person environment. Doing it in the middle of a trading room seemed weird to her but she didn't voice her thoughts on the matter when Sam released the Magby. To be honest she hadn't even seen the Magby out of it's pokemon and it was kind of strange to be seeing it now.The nineteen year old gave a small smile as Sam named the fire type. Glancing around she was about to make her final thanks and leave so that the new companions could get more acquainted but only managed to log out of the PC when something gripped her leg. The look the baby pokemon gave her made her frown slightly before squatting down to the Magby's level. "Sorry buddy but Sam here is your new trainer. I didn't think I could raise you to your full potential but my friend here is more then capable. He'll treat you well and I'm sure you'll be happy. You deserve to see the world and not be kept in a PC your whole life right?" She gave an affectionate smile and rubbed the fire pokemon's head before straightening herself out. "Well um.. Pleasure to meet you Sam. If you excuse me I'm going to check if the storm has lightened up any. I have matters to attend to." Nevoa gave a friendly and light wave to the male before stuffing her hands in her coat pocket and striding herself to the main lobby once more to check the weather. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Magby let out a weep as he let go of his former trainer. Sure it wasn't good to be in the PC his whole life but he loved and trusted Nevoa. He knows nothing about this new trainer... This "Sam." Magby continued to cry for Nevoa as he did not like the fact that he was abandoned but then he felt a hand get placed on his shoulder. Sam came over and placed his hand on Blaze's shoulder to help ease him through the change.
<"It's okay little buddy. We will be together for a long time and we will get a lot of experience together. I hope you will be as excited as I am."> Sam said to the Magby while he placed his hand on the pokemon's shoulder.
Suddenly Sam began to feel a burning sensation and quickly jumped and let go of his hand. Magby saw what happened to Sam and began to laugh. This made him feel better as he realized who he was first of all. He was an impish and curious pokemon, one would could embrace change. He was curious so being with a new trainer does help with his curiosity. And he is impish which means that being out with this new trainer can allow him to be mischievous and deceptive. He can play tricks on others, just like he has done on Sam...
He can try to burn others also. Magby took a deep breath and looked at Sam and smiled as he wiped the tears from his face. Sam smiled at his Magby also, and then took out his pokeball to return the fire pokemon. He then headed out of the door as he got ready to move on with his journey, now with a Magby by his side.
