Oh yes, the pig pokemon had been noticed as she made her way over towards the two pokemon, hoping to get them to stop. Thievery was something she encouraged at all, not on her team or around her. As Kenta came over, the cat pokemon did not seem to like that too much and Portia relayed the thoughts to Kenta who chuckled and glanced over his shoulder. ”Oh, come now Mahiah… You should walk around more, will help you get better.”
She did not believe that, but she bounded over towards them non-the-less.
”Hey, are you blind? I was trying to get my Pokémon healed, wait, what? A Pokémon?" He chuckled slightly and waited to hear what would happened. It seemed the trainer had taken the Poke’Dex back and the Rattata was scuttling back to the hole it had come from. As he stood there, he put his last pokeball back into his backpack at the desk and felt something land on his shoulder, jumping slightly and gaining the attention of both Portia and Mahiah. ”It the Starly.”
Portia said outloud, but also mentally for Kenta to hear her as well. ”Oh, I'm sorry that was insensitive of me, but thank you so much for saving my pokedex. I wouldn't have been able to continue being a trainer without one, I'm so reliant on it," Kenta nodded to the pokemon. ”I am very much use to it by now… But I am sure you would have found a way to continue your training, just different way.” He said, patting the trainer on the shoulder and turning towards the nurse as her voice joined in with thanks. ”Thank you sir, he would have been without his pokedex for a while if he hadn't been caught." He nodded towards her and shouldered his bag, careful to put it on the shoulder without the injuried Starly on it. ”Well, I've had enough entertainment for one day, at least we got through that scuffle without any pain.” Kenta smiled as Portia relayed the voice to him and he nodded towards the Starly. ”Portia, why don’t we go and find a nice place out side to eat lunch… Starly, would you like to join us?” He asked, turning his head slightly towards his shoulder where the pokemon weight could be felt. -------- WILD STARLY !
It felt good to do all of these good deeds in a day, and the Starly couldn't help but muse about how he was going to spend the rest of it. Since no one was offering him any reward, not that he expected one, he figured that he could treat himself to something extra special today. There were a few pastry joints around the city that discarded stale sweets, but even that was a luxury for a wild Pokemon like himself. Kenta's company was pretty nice though, and there were so many friendly faces around this trainer. The Spoink seemed kind and friendly, and the Glameow had an amusing tongue. It was an interesting group to be around, and hitching a ride on Kenta's shoulder sounded like fun.
Suddenly, there was an offer he couldn't refuse. Lunch with a human! Now this was going to be absolutely precious. He was curious about what Kenta had in mind, but he tried not to be too anxious about it. <Sounds like fun. I'd love to.> He beamed at the trainer, gripping the trainer's shoulder tightly to make sure he didn't fall off. His claws were short and stubby at least, so the fabric wouldn't rip from such a simple motion. Perhaps if he was a Staravia, that would be a different case. His Staravia days seemed very far in the distant future, but he couldn't wait to grow up to be a noble, majestic bird of the skies.

”Sounds like fun. I'd love to.” Kenta smiled at the Starly as Portia passed along what the pokemon said. Kenta smiled, thanked the kind nurse and headed on towards the door, Portia bouncing ahead of him and Mahiah trailed beside him, the sound of her padding feet easily heard, as well as her purring. The sound of others in the street was also easily heard and he moved along the street not know what to expect in this busy town. He was sure there were other young trainers who would want to fight him sooner or later, maybe lunch would be very nice though. He was hungry and he was sure his own pokemon were as well.

The starly on Kenta's shoulder sat there patiently as he was glad to have at least talked with this blind man. Not stumbling elsewhere, because there was so much to life that could be enjoyed. The frivolous efforts of pokemon everywhere were being held at value, but that wasn't all that was strange here. In fact, as he kept wandering, there was no looking back now. Moving forwards was the only option the little starly saw in his future, but he seemed to be intent on wondering where their next destination was. So do you just walk around and hope a pokemon walks up to you for no reason at all? the Starly asked curiously. Cause he was getting slightly impatient at not finding anything right now.
Plus the trainer hadn't caught him yet and he was about to fly off right away if no action was taken to get him. Plus he had other places to be too, but he stuck around for the trainer's help earlier too. A garbage statue was being erected down an alleyway across from Kenta, and the sound of scrap paper were breaking off of it. It was obviously a group of trubbish that had found this area, and decided to super glue some garbage together to make a monument to a garbador that had just recently passed away. Woah, look it looks like they're mourning a dead garbador, and those trubbish must have respected him greatly in an alleyway across the street. Over there! the starly said with his wings fluttering a bit and his talons digging in to try dragging Kenta to the other direction.

As the Starly sat on Kenta’s shoulder, Portia went a bit ahead and finally found a place for them to eat that looked good and Kenta was very happy about that and smiled at Portia voiced her opinion about the place. She came back so that way he would talk to the Starly if he spoke, which did not take long at all. ”So do you just walk around and hope a Pokémon walks up to you for no reason at all?” Kenta turned his head slightly towards the sound of the starly and smiled. ”It depends… I never force a pokemon to join my team, ask Mahiah and my others… I do battle a lot, but I don’t like being like some trainers who force pokemon their team… “
He said to the Starly as they walked down the side walk, his waslking stick stretched out ever so slightly as they moved. ”But you seemed to come out of no where… As many pokemon do… But, you have not said anything about joining my team and I enjoy getting to know my pokemon first before asking them.”
He said to the starly whom seemed to be a bit impatient. The sound of something cause Kenta to slow his steps and Portia bounced ahead to take a look. ”Woah, look it looks like they're mourning a dead garbador, and those trubbish must have respected him greatly in an alleyway across the street. Over there!” He felt the bird pokemon pulling him over and Kenta gave him and allowed the pokemon to pull him towards the others. ”Hello Trubbish.” He said as he smiled before he came to a stop due to Portia putting her hand on him to make him stop before he stepped any closer and on them. Kenta could not see, but the scent was terrible and as he came to a stop, he felt the rustling of the bird pokemon on his shoulder and as she spoke, Portia relayed the message to him easily. He really need to figure out how everything worked on his poke'dex... Maybe it had a place for headphones? He could put one in his ear so that way Portia would not have to constantly stay connected to him. "You might want to act sad, these trubbish happen to have a nasty temper if they think people are being mean. Quick, mourn the dead garbador." Kenta removed any hint of happiness, he knelt down. He removed a magazine and with skilled hands, was able to make a paper rose to place in the area that Portia was at, near the monument or whatever was there in honor of the dead pokemon. "I am very sorry for your loss... He seemed very loved by many of you."
He said in a voice that was soft and kind.

-------- WILD STARLY & TRUBBISH !
Several Trubbish crowded around Kenta as he formed a paper rose for their Garbodor friend. At first they were confused, but soon they were touched by the trainer's sentiment for someone he never even met. It was like bumping into a kindred spirit that understood their pain, and they were all in this life and death struggle together. Their bond was felt, and soon those nasty glares turned into sad ones. Others understood how important their friend was to them, and that was all that mattered. The Starly perked up just enough to get a look at Kenta's gift, nodding in approval for avoiding a possible scandal. Kenta was surprisingly good at relating to others, which was not something the Starly expected from this dependent human.
For a second, he wondered if Kenta felt guilty for relying on so many Pokemon at once. He immediately shook that thought out of his mind, realizing that it was a horrible thing to be thinking about. <You're kind. I'm sure Garbodor appreciates it too.> The Trubbish sniffled, patting Kenta affectionately on the shoe before wandering back to the grave. Then something very unusual happened! The giant statue dedicated to their fallen hero began to rumble, and the mouth piece upchucked a fresh potion from its insides. It was a little dirty after being in the garbage for so long, but the contents were clean and good to use. The bottle let out a 'clink' as it touched the ground, rolling slowly towards Kenta's feet. The Trubbish all stared; wide eyed at this spectacle.

As Kenta blindly made the rose with ease, remembering the old form that his mother taught him by touching and feeling, soon, it was formed into a beautiful paper flower. He smiled as he finished it and placed it, with the help of his Spokin who moved his hand to the correct place. As it was placed, Kenta patted the head of Porita, who looked up at him and he allowed the pokemon to bounce back over to his side.
To be honest, he felt very independent, even if he needed the help of his pokemon. He had only recently started using the pokemon to help him, but he didn't use them to see, his connect with Portia allowed him to hear everyone around him speak. "You're kind. I'm sure Garbodor appreciates it too." Kenta smiled and patted the Trubbish as he sniffled. "You have experienced a loss and I understand your pain of losing someone... It is the least I can do for you and your family."
He said with soft, warm words. As he was about to stand, he heard something and felt something hit his shoe. He knelt back down and picked up the potion, feeling over it with his hand. "Thank You."
He said, though he was not sure who it was directed to, he said it anyway. "We must go now... I wish you all the best during your loss." He said, standing and turning, heading towards the street, using his walking stick to make sure he did not fall and soon he was back on the bustling street. <Phew! Today I dug so many tunnels!> A happy shout could be heard as a brown head popped out of the ground. It was a Diglett who spent most of its days underground, digging through the soft soil and creating long and complicated tunnels. Its hobby was to make mazes underground, but it couldn't find anyone who would try the out yet. He needed a victimsomeone who would be kind enough to test his masterpieces!
When the Diglett noticed a man with a cane in the distance, it got an idea. Burrowing its head underground again and quickly made a trap. The ground type was only skillful at making mazes so its trap didn't come out too great. Basically, it was a large hole leading to one of its tricky labyrinths.

Portia did not understand why the Sarly was still on her trainer’s shoulder, though she knew that Kenta had invited the pokemon to eat lunch with them, if it ever happened. The scent of food was thick in the air as they turned the next corner, but still it felt so far away. She heard her own stomach grumble as the sound of the Poke'dex started beeping slightly. This made her stop and wondered what was going on. "Kenta? What is that?"
Her mental link allowed her to speak to him without others knowing it.
"I don't know what it is... It sounds like the Poke'dex."
He answered her verbally before he took it out. The professors techs. had helped him by putting it on voice command. As he opened it, the word 'update' was spoken and he smiled. "Update." As he said that, the poke'dex automatically started to update and he continued walking carefully down the street. However, as walked, the feeling of the ground changed and he was tumbling into a hole. His glasses fell of his head, Portia rolled down beside him and the poke'dex fell out of his hands before it started to beep again. As it did, Kenta was able to find it and open it up, and was surprised to hear Portia's voice. "...put a hole in the middle of the street... Where are is the dirty coward who made this trap?" Kenta was very much surprised and as she spoke she finally stopped and was also surprised by what she heard. "Is that me?" She asked verbally and then severed her mental link. "Wow! We can talk without a mental link now!" Kenta chuckled and located his black sunglasses, replacing them back on his head before he found his walking stick. "It seems so... Now, where are we?" He didn't feel the weight of the bird anymore and it worried him slightly that maybe the bird pokemon had fallen and gotten hurt. He then spotted what had happened. >Oh! I’m truly sorry!< he gasped lightly once he realized the damaged he had done. It seemed it had also spooked the young starly and she had flown off. >But hey… while you’re here! Do you guys want to try out my maze?< he asked rather excitedly. Sure the trainer probably wouldn’t be able to get down into the tunnels, but maybe the little spoink would be able to? Well he sure hoped so. >Sooo… how about it?< he asked again hoping up and down inside his little hole in excitement.
