It was hard to say how long the battle was going on, but Seamus finally lost himself in the battle. He couldn't keep track of who was attacking what, and as his mind worked to wrap around the current Pokémon in the match, he forgot completely about the remaining Pokémon. That would probably confuse him later on, but right now he had to focus on what was in front of him. Concentrating on the big picture was too difficult, and he had to give in as the Rufflet ominously flew up higher into the sky. <Calculating positions.> Windows stared up at the Rufflet, going through his list of attacks to figure out which attack was most fitting.
The Porygon-Z did have a Gravity that could make things easier on Seamus's team, and it could protect both him and Ethyl from the Fly. Risks were evaluated, and this seemed to be the most fitting response. His eyes changed colors as he reprogrammed the gravity in the room, doubling the force of gravity in the area. It was harder to breathe when the air was this heavy, and dodging seemed even more difficult now. Seamus vaguely recalled the Porygon-Z's attack list, and after seeing Xenon use Gravity for so long, this was a pleasant surprise. "Gravity? Interesting." He stared up at the Rufflet, well aware that it couldn't finish the attack when the Gravity was this intense.
"Focus on the Entei until it comes down. Dragon Dance and Crunch. Windows, use a Shadow Ball." Seamus did his best to keep up with his team, but this battle was getting much too intense for the older man. Not even his gym battles were this hard! It was a tough enough battle to put him in his place, leaving him challenged and frustrated as his two Pokémon went into their attacks. Ethyl twirled around like the Tasmanian devil, growing a crooked crocodile grin as she tried chomping on the Entei's paw. Windows could've sworn that Psybeam was a better option, but he went ahead with a Shadow Ball regardless.

He was the one who allowed his opponent to have the pokemon so he should have known all the attacks and all the advantages and disadvantages of the pokemon. He should not have fallen for such a trickery but yet here he was, struck with the intense gravity which almost made his head blow up as he saw his Rufflet fall from the sky, hitting the ground hard before he could get his attack across. And with the Rufflet down, he was able to see the two intense attacks come after his partner, knocking out the Entei before he could wake up from the slumber. It was there that Blitz realized something, he needed a move like uproar because it would have definitely been a nice backup for Rest. But he didn't have it, and now he had to lose his Entei this quickly and easily because of that... Blitz looked on, angry at everything that transpired as he returned his Entei before he took out another pokemon. This time, it was his Luxray, Tsu who took the field. And once he came in, he immediately felt all three attacks fall on him which took some of his health but luckily nothing major as he wasn't weak against the stealth rock and the spikes was only layered once. Blitz had to do something quick though and he sighed as he realized that the best option was to eliminate the Totodile. With the gravity decreasing all pokemon's evasiveness, he had faith that one attack would take out the crocodile easily, but if it wasn't enough he was ready to back it up. "Charge and Thunder." He said before he looked at the Porygon-Z and realized he had to start damaging it a bit. "And Hone Claws and Air Slash on it. Lets do some damage to it!" He said as he saw his two pokemon go ahead. Thankfully the Entei was taken down before it could do any more damage, which left Seamus in the lead. Before he could enjoy having one extra Pokemon, Blitz immediately sent out a powerful Luxray onto the field. He thought Ethyl could take whatever attack the Luxray used, but a Charge and Thunder was too much. Without any struggle against the attack, the small water crocodile fainted on the spot. She almost looked edible after that Thunder attack, but Seamus needed her for battles so he couldn't delay. Returning her with a frown, he thought over his options. He only had two Pokemon left, and neither were very good against electric types.
Perhaps using a Sunny Day could weaken Thunder? It was hard to say what the best option was, but Seamus decided to go with his Jumpluff to settle some unfinished business. "Kindle, come back." He demanded with a haughty tone, sending out the weakened Jumpluff without another thought. <Oh, hello again.> The Jumpluff chirped, recognizing the Rufflet from his last time out on the field. "Windows, finish off the Rufflet. I don't care what you do." Seamus was getting awfully tired of these long battles, but somehow he felt as if it was worth it. <Understood!> Windows responded in his monotone voice, plotting up another Nasty Plot to make full use of his power. Not long after that, he fired off another Psybeam at the Rufflet with the hopes of knocking it out. With a move like Gravity in use, it was nearly impossible to dodge in this environment anyways.
"Kindle, use Sunny Day and Solarbeam on Luxray." It wouldn't knock the Luxray out by far, but it would do a nice amount of damage to it. Kindle did a small jig in the battle field, summoning an intense wave of heat to get his body moving. It was just perfect for the grass type, unlocking both of his special abilities as he giggled with delight. Now they were talking! <Pew pew pew!> He fired off a beam of his own, making sure he was aiming at the right Pokemon as he launched the strike.

The damage he had suffered so far were too much to bear at the moment so the attack finished him off with relative ease as he fell on the ground, unable to battle... This left the Luxray alone for a minute as he saw the Solarbeam come his way and like his partner was unable to dodge the attack at all due to the intense gravity and he also felt his sides weaken and his entire body tense up at the damage done to him in one quick swoop. Blitz did a count and realized he was down to his final two pokemon. He sighed before a small smirk crept into his face. The last one. It was bad that he had gotten to this point but at least he still had him. He sighed for a minute, taking out his last pokeball and decided to leave it out here. In an instant a large yellow paw came out of nowhere, then two long black tails began to flail around before the pokemon showed itself. Massive, apelike, and destructive. It was struck with the stealth rock, toxic spikes, and regular spikes but its smirk did not go away as it was hurt but not out. In its left hand it took a leftover apple and put his teeth on it to bite down. On his right, he flexed a fist before he got ready to go. In an instant he sent a screeching sound against the Porygon, ready to do some damage as he rushed forth, but aimed a fire punch at the Jumpluff instead. Then, it turned and watched the Luxray get to work. Tsu saw the Electivire, amazed at its strength and power but recollected himself just long enough to smack its butt in front of the Porygon to hopefully confuse it in the process of strengthening its attack. Then he also rushed forth against the Jumpluff and tried to dig his teeth into the pokemon with a loud crunch. The process here was simple, kill two birds with one stone. Attack the Jumpluff hard and confuse the Porygon-Z at the same time. With a much higher attack and much lower defense, it would definitely harm itself bad if that occurred. And something else boiled in the Luxray as it rushed at Kindle, the sight of the male pokemon made him even more irate, as if he had a rivalry. ::Luxray:: (BADLY POISONED 2) (+1 special defense) Name: Tsuyuki | Level: 46.5 | Gender: Male Item: Expert Belt (20% SE) Ability 1: Rivalry || Ability 2: Intimidate Attack Set 1: Volt Switch, Thunder Fang, Crunch, Thunder Attack Set 2: Swagger, Rest, Charge, Rain Dance Hit by Badly Poison and Solarbeam. Kindle was ruthlessly taken down from the two attacks, becoming engulfed in flames and teeth as the two Pokemon took him down. <Ow...> He moaned, dramatically shielding his eyes with a cotton puff as he flopped over onto his side. He could no longer be of use in this battle, but the experience was an exciting one. It was possibly the first time the Jumpluff had gotten some serious action in such an intense battle without the Experience Share. Seamus cringed at the sight of the crumpled up plant, always having a soft spot for the Pokemon he raised from an egg. It wasn't easy to watch the Jumpluff go down, but he returned Kindle without complaint. "Down to the last two." He commented with a tired sigh, feeling mostly relieved that they were almost done with this battle.
"Acetate, get ready." Seamus already knew the strategy he wanted to use when he made the command, taking note of the badly poisoned Luxray and Electivire on the field. A shiny Bastiodon fell upon the field with a heavy 'thump', weighed down even more by the Gravity. With a loud hiss, the Bastiodon went in right away with a Protect to prepare himself for the next turn. At least now he could get away with taking whatever attacks they dished out, planning on staying in the match for as long as possible. Poor Windows had to struggle with the massive amount of swag coming from the Luxray, smacking himself in confusion in a lame attempt to fix himself. The combination of lowered defense and raised attack as enough to get a nice hit on the Porygon-Z, leaving him incompetent for a turn. As much as it sucked, Seamus wasn't too worried about him. They still had a strong chance of winning, regardless of what happened.

Sure he had Yoko, his powerhouse, who could sustain a few good strikes and the pokemon was holding a very valuable item in the leftover apple that gave him power which the toxic poison tried to remove each turn. But he knew the toxic would eventually do him in, if the two pokemon did not do so first. When the last pokemon came out, Blitz felt an immediate fear at the size and armor of the pokemon, but he knew the Porygon-Z would be the bigger concern due to its high special attack more than anything else. When it did not attack at all, he was even more worried about the pokemon, but did not let it bother him at the moment as he tried to take to the offensive himself. He saw the third turn of poison really damage his Luxray and knew it was now or never to end it, so with one last hope he went for the finishing touches. "Charge and Thunder Fang. Screech and Discharge!" He said as he was ready to let it all out now. And with that, the Luxray charged his body forward as he reached in to bite the Porygon-Z with a thunderous fang before Yoko sent a large thunderous clap throughout the entire arena, enough to finish off the Luxray once and for all with its poison and left Blitz with only one left. "This is it." He said to Yoko, preparing his Electivire for the potential counter. ::Luxray:: Name: Tsuyuki | Level: 46.5 | Gender: Male Item: Expert Belt (20% SE) Ability 1: Rivalry || Ability 2: Intimidate Attack Set 1: Volt Switch, Thunder Fang, Crunch, Thunder Attack Set 2: Swagger, Rest, Charge, Rain Dance Used Charge and Thunder Fang on Porygon-ZFainted! +1 level to Kindle, Windows, Ethyl, and Tsu ::Electivire:: (BADLY POISONED 2) Name: Yoko | Level: 58 | Gender: Male Item: Leftovers Ability 1: Motor Drive Attack Set 1: Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Discharge, Attack Set 2: Thunder Bolt, Screech, Light Screen, Magnet Rise Badly Poison 2. It was almost painful to watch the Luxray and Electivire struggle with their poison, but Seamus knew that this was only a part of his battle strategy. Setting up the traps was crucial for this moment, where he planned to tank it out against the powerful electric types. It wasn't entirely according to plan, which made him extremely anxious as he watched the Porygon-Z go down from the electric attacks. It was nice to see the Luxray go down at the same time, but that left the Bastiodon with a Pokemon with a very strong fire type attack. He already saw a Fire Punch used against Kindle, and in this sun? It was going to be painful.
"You did well, Windows." He returned the Porygon-Z with a frown, wishing the virtual Pokemon could've used recover at least once before being overwhelmed with all of those attacks. So it was down to two brutish Pokemon on the field; the last of 16 total, all fighting as bravely as they could for the sake of getting stronger. There wasn't even a prize at the end of this, but Seamus could tell that his team was gaining plenty from the experience alone. It didn't matter if he lost at this point, since he was already figuring out the weaknesses and strengths in his team. It didn't help that Windows wasn't an official team member, but that was fine.
"Time to get it with a Taunt and Ancientpower, Acetate." He struggled with Taunt and Iron Defense for a bit, but he ultimately decided that Taunt was the better choice. The sooner he could stop worrying about Screech, the better. The Bastiodon started stomping around on the battlefield, parading himself as if he was a bitter old man. <Look at me, big yellow and hairy. I have so much hair, it must make me scary. Pah. Please.> He wiggled his tiny tail at Yoko's face, hopefully taunting him in the way he intended. <I'll show you something tough, bucko.> He snorted, using a mystical energy to yank large rocks out of the ground. He didn't get the lucky stat boost this time, but the damage should've been good enough as he launched them at the Electivre's chest.

Yoko had definitely lived up to name as he came in and already wiped out two of his opponent's strongest Pokémon in a matter of seconds. It was now a deadline between the poison and his own strength which he knew could not be kept up for too long. It was the third turn now, which meant that more than 30% of his health would be taken from poison alone at this moment which worried Blitz greatly. And that wasn't even counting the attacks that would be used against him. The pokemorph looked at his Electivire with worry in his eyes as he saw the taunt come from Acetate. The brutish Pokémon was used to being the alpha dog too much so he could not help but listen to the insults and feel even more beefed up due to it. But this in turn also cut his other moves which made him even more vulnerable as the Electivire could only use attacks now. And that followed by a prehistoric attack which looked to be so much more painful up close, this only brought more worry on the morph as he saw that his Pokémon was going with less than half health left. A lot less than half. It was now or never. He had at most... One, maybe two turns to end it so he had to make it count at this instant. He had fought acetate enough times to know about the blizzard. It was only a matter of time before he saw it and he knew if he did, it would likely finish off Yoko. Which meant, simply put, it was now or never. "Fire Punch!" He yelled out in full volume. It was very unlike him to do such a thing but at this point, the intensity had made him crack. He was doing things that were not like him because of it. And Yoko charged forth with his fist pointed at Acetate, it was his own good shot. If he didn't finish it now, he knew he likely would not get another chance. Thankfully the Ancientpower hit, successfully whittling down Yoko's health to its current point. The Electivire was struggling to hang in there with the last of his strength, with a small boost from Leftovers to give him the motivation to carry on. The climax of the match was over, and Seamus could sense a victory in the near future. Acetate's health was simply too high to warrant a two hit KO, and Protect was always an option. It was somewhat cheap when paired with Toxic, but it made the Bastiodon extremely useful on his team. When the others failed, he could always rely on his shiny Bastiodon to wrap things up in a pretty red bow. <Finally getting somewhere.> The Bastiodon panted after using the attack, not liking how Kindle's obnoxious Sunny Day shone above head.
In the sun, the Fire Punch's power was doubled. Acetate held his ground as the fire washed over his steel shield, thankfully backed up by a thick layer of rock to give him some resistance. For a steel type, he was pretty lucky to lose his weakness to fire type moves. The alluring scent of Yoko's leftovers reminded him of his own, and soon he was chewing on his own apple to regain a bit of health. The amount wasn't much, but it was enough to regain some confidence in his abilities. Blitz was right to expect a Blizzard, because Seamus wanted to end it with one final strike. "Use Blizzard. Finish it." Blizzard wasn't the most accurate move ever, but Seamus reasoned that the Gravity would put that Electivire in his place. With all evasion decreased sharply, it should've made up for Blizzard's average accuracy.
Acetate sized up the Electivire one last time, growling as he waited for the Toxic to work its magic on the electric type. It wouldn't happen until after he made his move, but hopefully it would kick in if his attack missed. Opening his jaws as wide as he could, he made his move.

The accuracy of the attack wasn't too great with the sunny day up which made it very easy to dodge, but the speed of his Electivire was at an all time low thanks to the gravity which basically canceled out that problem. Now it just became a matter of luck, if Yoko would be so fortunate or not. Unfortunately, he wasn't as the attack whipped around him... Cooled him to bones, and in a matter of seconds he saw the Electivire fall to his side and admit defeat. Blitz could not do anything but put his head down at that moment. Yoko was impressive though taking out two foes with one attack each, but in the end the spikes and rocks were too much and it severely limited him. He returned his last pokemon and nodded at Seamus before he proceeded to leave. But before he did, he felt a need to speak to him quickly. "You know, you would be great for Team Death. And we would train your pokemon very well, like how your Beedrill had been trained. We can do that with your other pokemon." He said. As expected, the Blizzard attack was all Seamus needed in order to guarantee his victory in this 8 on 8 battle. It was a ridiculous concept to begin with, but all 16 Pokemon had fought as hard as possible. The relief Seamus felt was overwhelming, overcome with the desire to sit down and take a break from the heat of the battle. Acetate looked rather pleased himself, not expecting the battle to be over so quickly. <We did it.> He beamed proudly, wagging his stubby dinosaur tail in earnest excitement. <Hope that didn't ruin your day, buddy. I had fun.> The Bastiodon gave Yoko a friendly smile, hoping that they wouldn't have any hard feelings between the two.
Yoko was returned, and that was Seamus's cue to return Acetate. It was clear to both trainers that it was time to part ways, but Blitz found the muse to advertise Team Death a little. It was funny, since it wasn't that long ago when a young trainer named Sam tried to recruit him into Ace Academy. "I prefer to work alone, but I'll think about it." It was more of an answer than what he gave to Sam, at least. This old man was growing tired and fatigued after the long match, and the tension of the battle almost gave him 20 heart attacks.
A good break was what he needed, and he could imagine that the rest of his team could use a good nap. Grabbing his suitcase off of the ground, he gave Blitz a solemn nod. This was good bye, and the trainer couldn't help but think that he'd end up meeting Blitz sometime in the near future.
