{Ooc: please be more specific on which attacks the wild Pokemon uses. I couldn't tell weather that was water gun or what.}
Aurora watched, shaking her head in disappointment. "I saw better in you Marill." She glanced at the Poliwag and then kept her eyes focused on the battle. "Shinx, take the water gun,leer and then tackle." The water hit Shinx on the side, not really a bother much since it was already storming some and Shinx quickly positioned himself to shoot the leer on the Marill, and then ran at it for a full on Tackle attack.

{{OoC// o.o;; sorry. i thought it'd be pretty clear, because that's the first water move marill gets under lvl 20. >_>; I didn't want to bother stating it.}}
The Marill stationed herself, now completely focused on the battle. Quickly, she dodged the leer, but became distracted for a split second and was hit by the tackle. She let out a hoarse shriek of surprise as she tumbled backwards in the mud. Finally skidding to a stop in the slippery mud, the aquatic mouse pushed itself up and realized with horror that its blue pelt was now coated in bruises and mud. She was weakening, and it was clear that she wouldn't last long.
Marill had to do something. The marill crouched and gradually rolled up into a ball in a defense curl. However, it didn't stop at that. The blue mouse started to roll towards the shinx in a clever combination of defense curl and tackle. The round blue Pokémon slid easily over the sloshy ground, and even started to gain speed.
Meanwhile, the knocked out poliwag was still dreaming sweet dreams..

Aurora watched and waited, but stood there silently, feeling the wind blow through her hair. "Shinx, dodge and Ice Fang!" Shinx obeyed, and quickly jumped over the mouse, only to turn and run at it with an ice fang, ready to bite. This surely would be a good attack, after all, there had to be a way around all of this, especially since the ratio of battle was one to one again with another sleeping. Still, two verses one wasn't very fair and didn't seem right at all.

For a Marill that was at such a high level, it was hard to believe how tired she was getting. But when the Shinx was using such petty attacks on it, it was barely anything other than a love bite to her. Since, come on, Thick Fat was seriously helping her out with any side effects that the fangs might bring. Then there was her defense curl, which covered any weak points that she might have against the ineffective move. She knew that winning was very possible, no matter how collected the Shinx was.
<Yo. Polithing. Get up already, you're cramping my style.> She snorted over to the drifting Poliwag, who was going in and out of a dreamy state in the middle of their battlegrounds. The Marill didn't really want to hurt her, but she tended to be a little violent and uncontrolled when making her moves.
Uncurling herself, she swung her tail in a more innovative way of using Tail Whip, she had seen Azurill try the move out once, and she wanted to give it a shot as well. Using it as a type of lasso, she flung it around the Shinx and automatically curled it to bind the two together. She was a bit lost on what to do next, but anything sounded good at this point. So an effortless Tackle would get the job done.

No other Pokemon to use, and yet Shinx was being attacked like it was nothing. The tackle made Shinx skid back some and he quickly got up to regain his balance. The Marill couldn't be that strong, after all, this was only the second battle that Aurora was in. "Shinx, leer then tackle!" Aurora called out, more confident now as the wind blew silently. Shinx's eyes started to glow a yellow as he shot the leer at the Marill then using the wet ground, Shinx zig zagged through the ground, building the speed for a tackle attack.

Marill barely glanced at the Shinx, and she dodged swiftly. With the landscape on her side, it was easy for her. She was on her home ground, the water on the soil not evaporating yet, and she felt like she'd been doing this for a great many times. This battle wasn't over yet! With a determined little war cry, she charged towards the Shinx, a glint in her eyes.
All the Tail Whips had to have done something, after all, it should've lowered quite a bit of defense. Then Marill leapt forward, towards the Shinx with her Tail Whip yet again. She found the attack to be quite fun to use, and she loved how she could bounce towards the animal. She wrapped her tail around the other Pokemon, then leapt down after she had finished. Next she used another Tackle. Surely all the Tail Whips she had done made a huge gap in the Shinx's defense, after all, the Leers had definitely made a gap in her defense. No reason why they couldn't to the Shinx.

[ Ooc: not really, the only Pokemon that wouldn't be able to run in water would be rock and such, even Pikachu can in the episodes]
It seemed like everyone was against Aurora and her Shinx. Well of course, she was a future member of team death and was destiny that would bring her there but, this battle was just ridiculous and lasting too long for anyone's good so, Aurora had a plan.
"Shinx, dodge, then run, roll and use tackle" Shinx obeyed, dodging the Marill's attacks and then ran towards it, zig zagging on the ground and quickly rolled forward for speed and aimed for a tackle attack.

"Marill!" She cried out in distress when she found out that her Tackle had missed, and she sensed an ominous presence rolling right behind her. She was still propelling herself forward, determined not to let the attack connect, though for something of her size and stature, it was quite difficult for the tubby little Pokemon when on land.
Her tail was bouncing uncontrollable, something that used to be such a useful tool was now acting as an anchor, which she ended up tripping on, falling face flat into the mud. She had barely lifted her head in the air when she was shoved even deeper into the horrible mess below her, which was almost suffocating her. Her movements had stopped, making her appear dead until she rolled over on her back, gasping for breath. She wasn't going to get up anytime soon. She was too stressed out to even stand up and continue.
Shinx gains a level. The Marill has fainted. Capture? The Poliwag is sorta...sleeping. Capture?

Aurora shook her head and sighed, pulling out a Poke ball for the Marill. "Might as well capture you.. stubborn Pokemon" Aurora threw the ball at the Marill and then glanced at the sleeping Poliwag. It was really no use in capturing that thing. "No need for you, might as well let you sleep." Aurora glanced at her Shinx and nodded in approval of his work. She watched the Poke ball, waiting for it to stop moving.

The chromatic orb, shivered gently as if the Marill was getting used to it's new surroundings. Since the pokemon was too weak to move, the pokemon was captured fairly easily. The pokeball let out a light ping as the sphere stilled and the center button glowed faintly before dimming.
Congratulations! You have caught the Marill!
::marill::
Gender: ::female:: Level: 8 Attacks: Tackle, Defense Curl, Tail Whip
A violent rustling of the bushes across the clearing could be seen, the leaves on the bush trembling so hard that a few golen hued leaves drifted off to join a large cluster on the damp ground. A few more violent shakes followed before a scream of apparent frustation could be heard.
If you neared the bush a muttered Wooper could be seen, slapping the ground with his tail causing indentations in the soft muddy ground. The wooper was so fixated on the bush, his eyes staring up at the last berry hung on the bush. He needed some more food for his reserves and since he loved the wet weather while other pokemon didn't this was the perfect time to scavenge.
Normally, he wouldn't have bothered to go to the trouble of getting such a out of reach berry. But... it was a Peacha berry, his favorite and it was plump anf juicy undamaged by the storm. He /had/ to have it!
In frustration he yelled out a few choice words, before slapping the shrub with his tail angrily. <I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO GET THAT BERRY!> he screamed.

Aurora walked over to the Poke ball and picked it up, decreasing the size and placing it in her pocket. "You will be strong." She looked over at her Shinx and then to the route that followed out in front of her. "We'll have to continue on." She spoke softly, pushing back her black hair and then looked over at the frustrated Wooper. "Frustration..." Aurora mumbled and looked to her Shinx. "We might as well help..use tackle on the shrub." Aurora commanded, watching as her Shinx ran and tackled the shrub, making the berry fall. Shinx took a few steps back and smiled, scratching at his ear. [Here you go.]

The Wooper had been to busy muttering small tidbits of angry gibberish to himself to even notice the pair looming over him. As the crash of the bush was so familiar to him he instantly looked up, horrified at the idea that someone else would try to steal his berry!
The water pokemon spun around on his heels and quickly snapped at the Shinx, <HEY DUDE. THAT BERRY IS MINE.> He faltered though at the sight of the unobtanable berry laying on the ground. Grunts of protest could be heard as the wooper gazed down at the berry.
Lettin out a frustrated sigh, a tinge of pink was on his cheeks. <I could've totally have gotten that.> he excalimed, slapping his tail on the ground before exclaiming. <I challenge you! I'm stronger than you and I will prove it!> he screamed, ready to regain his lost pride.
Without any consent, the Wooper hastily lunged at the Shinx with a Water Gun Attack. A pressurized stream of water was shot at the electric pokemon and the Wooper ducked behind the bush and performed a Mud Sport coating himself with a protectical layering.
Wooper has Attacked!

Aurora shook her head and glared at the Wooper. This was one of the many reasons that she never liked helping anyone but, no.. she just HAD to be nice. Sighing, Aurora looked to her Shinx and shook her head in disappointment and anger. "Shinx, dodge then leer and tackle now!"
Shinx quickly moved out of the way from the water gun and shot light of yellow from his eyes in Leer. Then, just as quickly as before, Shinx ran towards the Wooper with a tackle attack.

The wooper let out a fierce snarl at the Shinx that had embarrased him, still oblivious to the trainer until her thunderous voice spoke. Startled, the wooper leaped back and glanced up at the monsterous being looming over the two of them. A small, frightened squeak escaped, but that soon turned into a painful squeal as the wooper was bowled over by the attacking Shinx.
Since he wasn't paying attention, the leer didn't affect him and the water type quickly lept back onto his feet, then popping up onto his tail. He then rotated around very quickly, shooting out streams of water everywhere at a painfully fast speed. A Water gun attack!

Aurora shook her head, watching as Shinx was hit with the Water gun but, held his ground, tilting his forehead down so the water hit there and only skidding back a few inches. "Ice fang." She called, Shinx quickly nodded and ran at the Wooper with an ice fang, ready to bite down with cold, icy fangs.

The Wooper growled to itself in slight frustration as it noticed it's water gun somewhat ineffective. It whispered something under it's breath but quickly stopped muttering as the Shinx ran towards him. It tried to use the wet ground to it's advantage,hoping to slid out of the way. It didn't work. The wooper fell on the ground with a simple klutzy move of it's feet. The on coming opponent would likely trip over it and crash into the ground in a car crash. Though that didn't mean that the shinx couldn't just stop fast enough, and skillfully enough to avoid falling itself, and use the attack then. Wooper is prone(flinching) [/b]

[Ooc: Got it, was a bit dizzy when I read that -before I got sick and all-]
Aurora inhaled quiet deeply and watched the battle, taking no interest in the Wooper what so ever. "Ice fang again." She called, watching her Shinx quickly turn and run at the Wooper once more, fangs ready to bite down and attack.

The Wooper slipped in the mud as it tried to get up once again and merely fell back to the ground with a sharp cry. Oh, darn it's clumsiness and all it entailed!
That left the poor little creature open to the Ice Fang attack the Shinx was so gracefully attacking with. Oh how Wooper whished it could be as graceful as the lion-cub like Pokemon! Moving so easily even through the mud. . . Sigh.
Right then was not the time to be admiring its opponent. Sub-zero fangs clamped around the little Wooper's body and dug in. Wooper shrieked in pain, then used the little mud coating it had from slipping around to wriggle free of the Shinx's grasp and land semi-gracefully on its feet.
At least it was standing now. . . Ugh.
"Woopah!" the little blue Pokemon cried indignantly, using Water Gun to blast a pressurized jet of water at its foe. It was close enough that hopefully it could cause some sort of damage to the trained Pokemon.
