Blaze walked in the icy gym. It was freezing and ice covered the surface. He knew that he was going to use Hell and Hades, his two best pair. "I challenge the gym leader here for the next badge!" he yelled, taking out two of his balls. One was an ordinary pokeball while the other was a black ultra ball.

A little girl emerged from one of the gym's inner doors. Smiling, she giggled. "You'd like a match?" she asked sweetly, giggling again, "I hope you like the cold"
Rina put her hands together and twirled in a circle. She obviously hadn't seen anyone in awhile...well, anyone worthy that was. She set her gaze upon the rather attractive guy who wished to challenge her and blushed a little.

"Just send out your pokemon," said Blaze. He hated the cold and he heard that the next route would be a great deal warmer. "Hell, Hades, warm this place up a bit!" The two canine pokemon were let out and they stood side by side, ready for a match. Hell huffed at the cold place, a tad annoyed. Hades was a bit better off as she didn't care about the heat, or absense of it, too much. "Ladies first," he said with a smille. This was going to be easy.

Rina crossed her arms and made an adorable pouting face. "Meanie! I'll show you what my ice Pokémon can do!" she announced.
"Let's go Dewy, Laine!"
Out from their Pokéballs came the gym leader's Dewgong and Swinub. Both looked raring to go, despite the slight disadvantage. What Blaze seemed to be forgetting was that both her Dewgong and Walrein were water types too; this would not be an easy match for either of them.

"Hades, agility and Ember. Hades, Fire Spin, both on that ball of fur," commanded Blaze in a strong, confident voice. As one of his canines relaxed, allowing herself to move faster, before shooting out balls of flame. Those balls of fire were soon joined by swirl of red, forming a ring of fire. Both were directed at the Swinub, as per their trainer's orders.

OOC: OMG so sorry it took me this long! I totally forgot! -feels bad-
"Laine, Mud Bomb! Dewy, Water Sport!"
Rina wasn't going to waste any time with these fire types. Raising her head, Dewy sprayed water all over the arena, an attack that would severel depleat the power of fire-type attacks. In the meantime, Laine aimed at the Pokémon using Fire Spin with a massive ball of mud to stop it in it's tracks. A continuous attack would not be good, with the help of Water Sport or not. Laine was caught by Ember, however, and sent backwards. Ouch.
"Come on Lainey!" Rina encouraged, jumping chidlishly.

((heh. S'okay. It took me ages to reply as well o.O))
Blaze cursed internally at the water sport attack. Oh well, he'd have to live with that, he guessed. The Mud bomb displeased the Entei greatly and the canine let out a roar. Fur now dirty, the legendary pokemon than moved in for a stomp while Blaze commanded Hades to use a Thunder Fang on the Dewgong.
He watched as his command was executed with flawless perfection, the Arcanine gracefully leaping over to the seal pokemon.

As Stomp closed in on Laine, Dewie jumped in and countered with a Headbutt, thrusting her horn at the powerful dog's foot. It was a strange-looking retaliation from afar, but it would surely do the trick and get that thing within a further distance. Rina knew close-range wasn't good. Sadly, she'd been hit by Thunder Fang and she was knocked viciously to the ground.
"Dewie!" Rina shrieked.
Laine puffed his cheeks and used Mud Slap, aiming to slow the two dogs and get some damage in there.

The Entei howled in pain at the Headbutt on its sensitive foot. The damage was critical, but the canine was far from being beaten. The Mud Slap effectively slowed Hades down but at the command of her trainer, she wasted no time to attack. A flamethrower from Hades and a Shadow ball from Hell, the fire attack aimed at the Swinub and the Shadow one at the Dewgong.

The Swinub managed to dodge the fire attack, and it retaliated with another Mud Bomb. It had a bit disadvantage here, but was determined to make the most of it's time out.
The Dewgong was hit hard by the Shadow Ball, and was quite weak. It used Water Sport once more, knowing it would be effective.

Hades let out a yelp at the Mud Bomb. She wasn't too pleased to have her fur in a total mess now and used another Flamethrower to show her discontent. "Hades, focus!" reminded the trainer, before ordering a Stone Edge for Hell to use. The Legendary dog grownled before executing the attack.

Bellowing in fear, Dewie hobbled to the side, barely avoiding the Stone Edge attack. He slid over, having serious difficulty maneuvering away. Drawing power from within himself, he used Aqua Ring, an attack that would steadily heal his HP. It a matter of turns, he would be good as new.
Laine was tossed to the side, however, and flipped over. Getting up slowly, he grew increasingly frustrated with his fire type nemeses. How was he supposed to combat them?... Breathing out, he used an Icy Wind attack to slow the fiery duo down. From there, he would at least get the chance to plan further ahead.
Rina watched anxiously from the sidelines. She looked a little more worried than before.

"Don't let that seal heal itself!" yelled Blaze, ordering another stone edge from his Entei. The massive fire pokemon had a bit of trouble executing the attack, due to the Icy Wind. Hades, a bit annoyed by the sharp shards of ice, used a flamethrower, serving both to melt the ice and snow and to possibly hit that ball of brown fur.

Making a short yelping noise in panic, Dewie rolled to the side, furthering himself from Flamethrower as much as possible. He could feel his strength returning but he was still quite vulnerable. Even with a water type advantage, his duel ice-type made him susceptible to these Pokémon and their brutal attacks. Groaning, he mustered a Water Pulse. It wasn't very powerful, more or less meant to ward off the two offending creatures so he had time to recuperate. This seemed selfish considered Laine was in dire trouble.
The Swinub panicked but could not dodge in time. He was thrust against the ground, flames licking his sides. Groaning, the Pokémon was on the edge. He appeared burned and could not even muster an attack. He would surely be finished soon.
"Laine!" Rina shrieked.

The water pulse was indeed weaker than it could have been, but since the two pokemon were fire types, it still did a good deal of damage. "Hang in there," said blaze, seeing the fatigue in both his canine pokemon. They wouldn't last too much longer, but they'd suffice until he at least took out that ball of fur. "Ignore the Dewgong for now and take care of Swinub!" he commanded. "Flamethrower and Fire Spin! Show no mercy!"

[ooc| I modded every board Arionne, where's teh Golden coin Dx]
With the last two attacks from the vicious canine pokemon Swinub fainted. Rina shrieked as she returned Swibun into its pokeball as she pulled it next to her saying "You did excellent, you deserve a nice rest my friend."
Rina then threw out the pokeball of Walter as she simply said "Destroy this Fire loving fool."
Walter gave a loud bark as it automaticlly used a Water Gun on Blaze.
Dewie felt a bit of its energy return as it used Water Pulse attack on Blaze as well.
Rina cringed as Dewie seemed she would faint soon.

[Blaze is the um... well... trainer... why the hell are the Pokémon attacking him? o.O I'll pretend you typed "Hades", kay?]
Hades was unable to dodge the attacks and felt too weak to continue. Hell was rather worried but continued on, using a Shadow Ball at the Dewgong when blaze ordered it to do so. The dark ball was formed and shot straight at the white seal Pokémon as Blaze quickly switched Hades out.
"You did good, girl," he said in a small voice, clipping the pokeball back with the others. His hand reached for another one and threw it in the air, letting out a graceful Moltres. A cry, beautiful yet deadly, came out from the legendary bird's beak as it circled the field a few times.
"Come on, Phoenicia. Start off with an Aerial Ace on that white pack of blubber to finish it!"
Following behind the Shadow Ball cast by the Entei, the Moltres flew in for a sure-hit attack.

Dewy was swiftly hit by the Shadow Ball, nearly knocking it out. Walter, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky and was knocked out by the Aerial Ace. "Come on Dewy, we can't lose this fight! Use Rest!" Rina commanded. The Dewgong obediently went to sleep, recovering it's lost energy, but leaving it completely vulnerable to attack.

"Finish it!" yelled Blaze. "Sky Attack and Stone Edge!" Even though the pokemon had recovered some lost health, Blaze knew that asleep, it was a sitting duck and his two fire pokemon would make short work of that dewgong.
As his Moltres came down for a sky attack, his Entei, ruthless, send a couple of sharp-edged stones towards the white water/ice pokemon.

Dewy suffered an extremely powerful critical hit from the Stone Edge and Sky Attack managed to finish it. Rina returned her Pokémon with a smile, telling them "You did very well. I'm so proud of you." She then walked over to Blaze and handed him his hard earned badge, saying "Congratulations on your victory" before walking away.
((I'm not exactly sure on the level thing here. Is each Pokemon that battled getting a level for each defeated Pokemon right?))
