((How incredibly odd. XD I was going to have a drama scene-thingy where she dropped the choker or something, and here you are! XD))
Aspen had almost, almost started to celebrate when the Pidgey had darted down. It took her merely a millisecond to realize what had happened. Her choker. Her present from Alex, and that damned Pidgey had just stolen it!
"After that theif! Get that necklace back at all costs!" she told the two pokemon, barely restraining her anger as the two darted off, Rikarak not even wanting to upset her further. Besides, a race game was fun, too.
Of course, Aspen was not going to leave it up to her pokemon to chase after the bird, and took off running, trying to keep the Pidgey in sight. If she wasn't hyped up on anger, she would probably be in tears, or very near. That was her last present from Alex, and the only thing to remember him by.
The Pidgey better start hoping they didn't catch her, because Aspen wasn't sure she wouldn't choke the thing to death.

[[ =D Great minds think alike! That is strangely ironic though. xD ]]
The Pidgey was a fairly quick pokemon and she hadn't expected to have two pokemon racing after her, one focused and one having fun with a racing game. Plus a ferious trainer on her heels. Ironically, the Gilgar, who believed that this whole thing was race was the one that was gaining on her. Quite quickly as well.
The pokemon had been expecting a swift and clean cut, not a whole evasive manuveir scenario. The Pidgey fluffed up her downy tan feathers before picking up the pace, worry giving her the needed speed. After a while though, she grew tired, but refused to give up the sparkly thing.
Snapping around in a split-second descision, she blinded the oncoming pokemon with a Sand-Attack before slipping away and hiding the choker somewhere where they would never find it. A pokemon might, but the trainer never would. By the time the sand shield dispersed the Pidgey was ready to counter-attack with a Gust calling up twin vortexes of wind to dispell the opponents.
She would beat them, then reclaim her treasure.

Really, really needed to get in better shape, Aspen thought as she huffed, still running. If it was anything but her necklace, she would've started walking, but this was her necklace, so she was here, running, stitch in her side, and downright ticked.
Rikarak was blinded by the Sand Attack, and in his frantic fluttering, managed by some miracle to dodge the Gust. He shook the sand out of his eyes and shot a Poison Sting towards the Pidgey. This would be funfunfun! An air game, he'd never had one of those before!
Estayer dodged both, as he had been out of the way, flying higher than both Rikrak and the Pidgey. He had no orders other than to get the necklace back. The Pidgey had done something during the Sand Attack, and now she didn't have the choker.
So he started flying circles around the area, he would start high and work his way down, looking for something shiny. It was something Murkrow did best, after all.
Oh. My. Arceus. Never mind strangling the Pidgey, she was going to drop dead before- ah! There! Finally! She put her hands behind her head, trying to catch her breath and surveying the scene above her.
Okay, Rikarak attacking, generally being the weird pokemon he was. Wait. The Pidgey didn't have her choker! But, neither did either of her pokemon. Speaking of which, was Estayer flying search circles? Yes, it looked like he was. Mental note: kiss that bird.

The Pidgey was faintly pleased as her attack blinded the Gligar and she kept her keen eyes on the purple pokemon, while soaring above and taking the scene in before her. Okay. So the Gligar was going to attack fairly soon, the Pidgey assumed since she had indeed attacked him.
But where were the others? As the piecing, hazel eyes of the Pidgey looked around she relized that above her was the Murkrow apparently searching for the choker. A flash of red seized her and she snarled viciously. No way was that pesk of a bird going to get it!
Just as she was about to attack the dark-type with a low-blow the Pidgey was struvk by a series of Poison Stings. Grimacing, but keeping her mouth shut in order to gain the element of surpirse she plucked the barbs out so she wouldn't get poisoned.
Soaring up to meet the Murkrow she attempted to Tackle him down to the ground along with his trainer.
