"C'mon now, I know how to get you all fixed up." Andy gently pats Aron's head and sits down beside him, setting Pichu down in her lap, who sits back in his comfy seat, still tired after his exciting first battle. Andy pulls a Pokeball from her backpack. "You seem like the prideful type. Tell ya what, you join me, and I'll help you become the strongest Aron ever." Andy sets the ball down in front of Aron. "Your choice." Pichu watches curiously as Andy scritches him around his ears.

The Aron watched the trainer curiously, not understanding a word she was saying. However, when she set the Pokeball on the ground beside him, he seemed to know what she meant - she wanted him to come with her and her Pichu. The Aron studied the pokeball carefully, seeming to be contemplating whether or not he should let the orb envelope him again, this time for good.
After a few seconds of hard thinking, the Aron nudged the Pokeball with his nose and it opened up to reveal the same red orb as did the last one. Though he didn't want to leave his friends behind, he did want to explore the vast world and reach knew heights and power, and he figured this trainer could give that to him. Inside the Pokeball, he closed his eyes in relaxation and let himself fall asleep.

"You picked the right choice, Aron." Andy smiles as she watches the injured Aron willingly disappear into her Pokeball. She looks down at Pichu. "Looks like we've got a new friend! That's two in one day~" Andy giggles and holds up Pichu's Pokeball. "Let's go get some rest, shall we?" "Chu." Pichu nods, and returns to his Pokeball. Andy places both Pokeballs in her bag and stands back up. She looks around, and notices the sun had begun to set already, coloring the sky a wonderful mix of orange, yellow, purple and blue. She adjusts her bag and sets off down the path, making her way onward to the north.
Later...
"Hm..." Andy pauses to look up to the sky. She's given a view of sky she had never seen before, full of wondrous swirls and patterns of starts. "Wow..." It also brings to her attention the fact that it's getting rather late- and that she's not anywhere close to a town or city. Andy decides it'd be best to just set up camp here and rest for the night, as it had been a long day and she'd probably need plenty of rest for the next one. She looks around for something suitable...

Waking up for his nightly dues, a wild pokemon made his way toward the path, where he knew trainers didn't often tread at night. He smelled the ground with his tongue, then the air, and noticed a strange scent that still lingered. <A trainer, here? Now?> The wild Pokemon thought to himself. It was uncommon for him to know of a trainer being here while he was, but it also called for a battle of territory.
He slithered his way towards the scent, only getting closer, when he finally saw what he was looking for. He saw a girl looking towards the sky, and then he did as well, wondering what she was doing. When he didn’t se anything out of the norm, he hissed at the trainer, anticipating a battle. He wasn’t sure if she would hear him or not, so he hissed a second time, this time, hissing his name. Ekanssss!
A wild Ekans appears! ::Ekans::

"Huh?" Andy turns around, thinking she hears something. "Ekansssss!" "Ack!" She jumps as the snake Pokemon hisses loudly at her, startled, she falls backwards onto her butt. "Ow..." Andy looks up, directing her attention back towards the Ekans as she gets to her feet. Knowing she's being challenged, Andy reaches into her backpack, and thinks for a moment before pulling out Pichu's Pokeball. She figures Aron is probably still weak, and Pichu too, but he'll have to do. "Sorry Pichu, I hope your not too tired..." Andy comments as she tosses the ball to the ground infront of her, summoning the little yellow mouse. "Chu?"

The Ekans hissed again, thinking about having a midnight snack as he studied the little mouse. He slithered towards the Pichu a few feet more, and tasted the air with his tongue, acquiring the scent of his opponent.
After only a few seconds, the Ekans' tail started shaking vigorously. A couple more seconds went by and his tail started to glow, too. He hissed viciously and swung his tail around to strike the Pichu with the point of it, in hopes of poisoning his foe - Poison Sting. The Ekans was calm though insanely challenging, and this proved him to be a very patient yet determined Pokemon indeed.

"Eep! Are you okay, Pichu?" Andy squeals as she sees her Pokemon struck with the poisonous tail. "Cha..." Pichu looks weary as she stands to face his opponent. "Pichu, come back over here!" Andy calls out as she sets her bag down and digs through it, producing a cookie wrapped in plastic. She rips the wrapping off as Pichu retreats towards her. "Quickly, eat this." Andy offers the Lava Cookie to Pichu. He's a little confused as to why he'd be receiving a cookie at a moment like this, but Pichu would never turn down a free cookie. "Good, you should feel better now!" Andy pats him gently on the head and stands back up. "Alright, Pichu! Attack Ekans with Thundershock!" Andy commands. "Chu!" Pichu takes off towards the purple snake Pokemon.

The Ekans slithered his long body away as quickly as he could, but he didn't make in in time. He looked at the Pichu, though he couldn't move. He had been paralyzed. Hissing, his eyes glew bright in a Leer, and he stared at the Pichu, hoping to make contact so that his opponent's defense would lower, and he would stand a better chance of winning.

Andy's hand excitedly clenches into a fist at Pichu's successful attack. "Alright!" Pichu, not being very experienced, stares right into the curious glowing eyes of Ekans. "Cha..." Noticing this, Andy quickly steps in. "Pichu, don't look into his eyes! Hit him with another Thundershock!" She commands.

The Ekans tried to move, and he managed to slither a couple inches, but he was still paralyzed from the last attack. He hissed and tried to use his tail again for a Poison Sting. It took him a few seconds to be able to start the attack, but as soon as he did, he was hit with another Thundershock from his opponent. Ekansss! he bellowed out in pain.
The Ekans' head dropped to the ground and his eyes shut. Though he had tried his very best, it still wasn't enough. If he hadn't been paralyzed, he would have stood even an inkling of a chance, but the Pichu had the upperhand from the start of the battle, and this cost him big.
Pichu gains a level!

"Chu!" Pichu cheers. "Wow, great job Pichu! He wasn't nearly as tough as Aron, huh?" Andy giggles as she runs up to her Pokemon to congratulate his swift victory. She looks over at the fainted Ekans, and help but feel a little sorry for it. "Hm... you think we should just leave it in the path like this?" Andy nudges it a little with her foot. "Chu..." Pichu turns away and cuddles by Andy's feet. "Hehe, you must be tired. I guess he did attack us first... let's go." Andy returns Pichu to his Pokeball and decides on a nearby tree to set up camp for the night. She takes a seat beneath it, using her backpack as sort of a pillow while she closes her eyes and tries to fall asleep, thoughts of today's excitement racing through her head while she does.

The next morning, a wild Pokémon was trodding along, having no set destination. He was just out for a little morning stroll, when he came upon a sleeping girl. He loved humans, but no one had ever tried to battle him, catch him, or simply take him along. He walked up to the human's face and sat down by her.
After studying her for a few moments, he decided that she was kind hearted. He bowed his head so that his face was nearly in hers, then nudged her with his nose. Mwow, meow, meow. He tried to wake her up. Maybe a fraction of a second later, he licked her in any place on her face he could find available.
A wild Meowth appears! ::meowth::

Feeling something brush against her face, Andy shifts a little in her sleep before groggily, and unwillingly, waking up. "Mmmrr, five more minutes..." She groans as she slowly squirms a bit. Then, she feels something wet lapping against her face... it was rather uncomfortable, and as Andy began to come to her senses she decided it was also kind of creepy and possibly perverted. "Eh?" Andy opens her eyes. "Eeeek!" She jumps up in surprise, as she sees the visage of a curious Meowth filling her view. "Huh?" Backing up against the tree, Andy looks down to see the seemingly harmless Meowth standing at her feet. "Phew... it's just a Pokemon..."

The Meowth looked up innocently, with big, bright eyes, at the trainer. Meow, meow, meow, meow, he carried on. He was seemingly apologizing for scaring her, but he wanted to play. He stood up and walked towards her more, then laid down at her feet, brushing his head against her toes. He meowed again, wanting to be petted.

Andy lets out a sigh of relief and smiles down at the rather cute Meowth. "Heh, he just wants to play..." She sits back down and scoops the cat Pokemon into her lap, gently petting him down his back. "Your a friendly lil' guy, aren't you?" She smiles.

The cat meowed in agreement to the trainer, understanding what she was saying. He had been around humans for a while now, and so he had grown to know what they were saying, at least most of the time.
He started to purr when the girl petted his back, and then after a few seconds he pawed her leg, then he rubbed his head against her arm. He loved this trainer already, and wondered if she would take him with her, or leave him behind like all the other trainers had. He also wondered if there would be a battle before she caught him, like there usually was. No matter what happened, he was savoring every moment he had right now, for he didn't know when he would see a trainer again.

Andy giggles and scritches Meowth a little behind his ears. "Hehe, that tickles~" She laughs a bit as he rubs against her arm. "Do you have a name, kitty?" She asks, not expecting an actual answer but checks his neck for a collar or something, thinking it would be rather strange for a wild Pokemon to be this friendly and open to humans. "Do you have a trainer?"

The Meowth tilted his head in the cutest manner possible in order to help the girl with whatever she was searching for. As she fingered around his neck, he purred even louder as she brushed against his sensitive scent covering glands. Hey, any cat wanted their scent to spread all around. It was his very own calling card; however, humans could never pick up on the scent.
”Meow?” He questioned her, not able to understand why she would want to ask such questions. Even though he desired a human companion, he hadn’t understood the human species as well as he originally thought. He barely understood her own pattern of speech, and only through emotions could he follow along. ’Arceus’s gift to Pokemon.’ He thought, amused at the fact that she couldn’t understand him in the slightest way.

Upon finding nothing of interest, Andy returns her hand to gently scratching at the Meowth's soft fur. "Hm... I guess you are wild, huh?" She thinks for a few moments whilst petting him. "Say, what would you think about joining me and my team?" Andy smiles down at Meowth. Thinking he might not understand her, she reaches behind her and sifts her hand through her bag for a moment, pulling out her last Pokeball. She points to it, gesturing to ask if he wants to go in.

The Meowth's eyes widened in shock as the girl pulled out a pokeball, apparently wanting him to come along. He stared blankly at it for a moment, then meowed happily. After so many trainers stopped long enough to caress him, and then just left him there, he was finally going to get a real home. He nudged the girl's hand affectionately for his answer.
Though she seemed to just want to put him in the pokeball, and him go without a fight, which he would indeed, he still wondered if the traditional battle-for-keeps would take place, but he didn't make any hint for one. He certainly was a happy little cat, and his purring proved that.
