It seemed as if there was nothing to do but keep walking and hope Jill would be okay. However, their salvation appeared in the form of a small, furry teddy bear. WHile it was throwing things around, it released a Pecha Berry. George saw it, dashing to grab it before someone else did. But unfortunately, a rock clonked him on the head. He rubbed the bruise, then began running again. He snatched it up. <Thank you! I guess...> He muttered.
George brought the berry back, showing Lyra his findings. She took it from him, releasing Jill from her prison. The Totodile looked up, pain etched on her face. She took the berry without further ado and ate it whole. In a minute the pain was gone, and she seemed to be her normal self again.
<Who's the jerk with the random crap?> She asked just as a small stone hit her on the arm. She glared at the spinda. <Watch where you throw that stuff!> She shouted shrilly. She did not like being hit with random flying objects.

The Spinda did not take the Totodile’s words lightly, although she had been overjoyed to hear George mumble out a ‘thank you’ to him. Acting like she knew the name of every Pokemon in the universe, she skipped right on over to the Cyndaquil with a joyful smile. <Why thank you, little Flame. You’re always a good boy.> Her face beamed at ‘Flame’ to show that she was truly grateful for the Cyndaquil’s manners. On the other hand, she whirled right around to face Jill with the scariest, most unjolly expression a Spinda could have.
<You, little Tator Tot, have been very naughty! You will get nothing but coal in your stocking this year. Just you wait! Hurry and apologize to Santa, before I get even angrier!> She replied with a sudden mood swing, placing her hands on her hips as she leaned over the shorter Totodile with her lips curled up into a snarl. It was odd enough that a girl wanted to be a fat old man that gave presents to little boys and girls. It was even odder that she actually believed that she was Santa Clause!

<You, little Tator Tot, have been very naughty! You will get nothing but coal in your stocking this year. Just you wait! Hurry and apologize to Santa, before I get even angrier!>
<T-Tater Tot?> If anime sweatdrops were real, they'd be coursing down Jill's face by now. But then she regained he composure, and began yelling at the Spinda. <My name is JILL! JILL!> The poison earlier hadn't slowed down her fighting spirit. Tater Tot was a horrible name!
George giggle at the silliness of the name, and that was the final straw for the Totodile. She rushed at the Spinda, intent on clawing out its eyes. Arms outstretched, she made her way over, death in her eyes. Why does everyone have to be such an asshole? She couldn't help but wonder. Stupid wild pokemon.
[gonna stop here, cuz my dad is coming over in a few minutes. he hates to be kept waiting.]

<My name is JILL! JILL!>
The wild Spinda didn’t like being wrong and simply waved her paw out in front of the Totodile’s face, as if brushing the comment aside. She wasn’t about to push it, not this jolly old coot! She was going to be all smiles, and all happy! She started to skip along to her own tune, her wobbly footsteps making it seem like she was about to tip over like a drunkard, but she always managed to keep on walking. She started tossing out leaves to a random bunch of Pokemon, nearly forgetting about the Totodile until she felt something scratch against her back in a fury. She shrieked at the pain, trying to reach an unreachable part of her back to see if she was bleeding from the wound.
<Okay! Your name is Jill! I know that now! Santa is sorry! She deals with many Pokemon, so it’s easy forget names!> She whimpered, turning around with the most pitiful look she could muster up. But she sensed the bloodlust lingering in the naughty Totodile’s form, and she merely sighed. She would have to restrain this child so no other young boys and girls would get injured.
<I’m sorry you have to deal with this daily.> The Spinda commented to George, trying to turn the Cyndaquil’s favor over to her. She started to use a Tackle attack at the Totodile, charging towards her furious form with a strong, running start.

George shrugged. <She's a good kid. Usually.> The Spinda was clearly crazy, even Jill could see that. But recently the Totodile had been on a short fuse, and the incident with the Weedle didn't help. Right now Jill was pretty angry, especially after being hit like that.
The Spinda charging at her didn't help much. She side-stepped the attack, then took a deep breath. Aiming for the Spinda's back, she spat out a strong jet of water from her mouth. It seemed Jill had learned Water Gun after leveling up from the last battle. After the attack was finished, Jill Leered at the Spinda. With that, her attack was done.
George sighed. Jill never could lighten up and just have some fun, but it was who she was. He'd only step in and help if she got herself defeated, and she was one stubborn Totodile. She didn't lose very often, and if she did she would always look for a rematch. Jill took her honor very seriously for such a young pokemon.

Feeling the cold water speed up her Tackle, the Spinda struggled to keep up with her own attack. The Water Gun hurt, and she was struggling to not trip over her own feet, and she had to deal with the various trees that surrounded the area. Great. She yelped as she swerved around a pine tree, looping around with an unsteady, and extra fast Tackle attack towards the Totodile. With the sticks in the ground, the rocks that hurt her feet, and the angry, Leering Totodile at the end of her path…Santa was scared. Oh yeah, she was certainly close to being terrified.
<Santa isn’t used to running this fast!> She screamed as she covered her eyes, right about to Tackle the Totodile. Or was she about to Tackle something else? She couldn’t even tell at this point, the speed was frightening to her. Her breath was quickening as she started to breathe out of her mouth, making her lungs do all of the extra work needed to support such a speed.

<Haha! Take that!> The Totodile pointed and laughed at the Spinda, as pathetic as it was. The wild pokemon couldn't seem to slow down, and Jill was too busy laughing to notice when the Spinda turned around. The normal-type came barreling towards her, and even with her eyes covered, she managed to send Jill flying.
<Hey!> She yelled, her whole body aching. That had hurt. Okay, now that Spinda had to go. Jill puffed out her chest, taking in breath as she prepared another Water Gun. This time, though, she really put her strength into it. All she wanted to do at this point was finish this battle and relax in her cozy Pokeball.
George sighed. His younger, female counterpart always got in more trouble than him with her hot-headed, stubborn nature. She really needed to learn to take things slow, like he did, and to be kind to others. Although, admittedly, sometimes he took things a little too slow.

<Eeep!> The Spinda reflexively covered her face with her arms and floppy ears as the Water Gun was aimed at her face. Whether it was on purpose or not, she didn’t know, but that’s where it was about to hit. Her fur was soon soaked with the freezing cold water, which stung every second it made contact with her skin. Santa was definitely not getting this Totodile any presents this year. If this kept up, Jill wouldn’t get any presents next year either. Once the flow of water had slowed down and she was free to free her face from her limbs, she knew it was time to finish this. It was serious business.
<You…you…You SNAGGLETOOTHED FIRE TRUCK!> She screeched with an angry tick mark appearing on her forehead. She flailed her arms around like a penguin attempting to fly, stomping her feet on the ground as she was having a temper tantrum. This Santa was not so jolly anymore! She started crying out and bellowing harsh curses at the Totodile from afar, even giving her ‘the finger’ as she used her Uproar attack. The loud sound would be enough to cause damage, and prevent anyone from falling asleep.

The Water Gun was a direct hit, soaking the Spinda through and through. It seemed to enrage "Santa Clause", though.
<You…you…You SNAGGLETOOTHED FIRE TRUCK!>
Jill tilted her head, obviously confused. <Fire truck?> That wasn't something she was called every day. Still, the Spinda began her Uproar attack, soon distracting Jill from her thoughts. Lyra, George, and Jill all covered their ears, though Jill got the full brunt of the attack. The Totodile gritted her teeth, trying not to cry out in pain.
<Shut... UP! Jill had had enough for today. She began rushing at the Spinda, eyes narrowed in anger. <I swear to God I'm gonna...> She stretched her claws out, feeling them harden almost reflexively. Then she slashed out at the Spinda as she passed. <...Do that.> Truly she'd been going for a normal Scratch attack, but the Metal Claw had somehow snuck up on her.
Jill flopped down on the ground, breathing heavily. That Uproar attack had taken a lot out of her, and she wasn't sure if she could take another attack like that. Who knew a fake Santa Clause could do this to her? Every time someone mentioned Christmas from now on, she'd probably shudder. But still... Fire truck?

The Spinda would’ve answered the Totodile’s question if she was able to actually hear it over her own voice. But no, she was still ticked off as ever, and wanted her opponent to be filled with a rage that equaled her own. What better way to get rid of your rage than to scream at the top of your lungs? There really was no better way! She stomped her feet on the ground, her extra fat bobbing up and down like a bobber out on the lake. Her ears seemed to bend and twist as she shook her head on a vengeful fury as she continued her Uproar attack. She didn’t have much of a choice anyways, seeing that it was doing so much damage to the Totodile without her even touching the darn thing.
<I AM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW. DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH ME!> Santa screamed as the Totodile raked her claws into her fur, causing some of her skin to tear apart into tiny cuts. It stung, oh yes it stung, but she was a normal type. Having health was her specialty, and she wasn’t about to let the Metal Claw stop her path of destruction from spreading.

The Spinda wasn't finished with her attack yet, and Jill was starting to feel faint. <Goddammit! Go down!> She yelled at the Spinda, struggling to stand again. She really, really wanted to finish it off. If she fainted and George had to handle it, she'd have to kick somebody's ass. Probably the first one she encountered, in fact.
She slowly navigated herself around, covering her ears with her hands. It didn't really do much about the damage, but it made her feel better. Soon the Spinda was standing directly between Jill and a tree. Clenching her hand and forming a fist, she let loose a strong Water Gun.
Lyra watched with interest. She had had no idea that Jill could fight this long; George and Jill had been family pets before. It was definitely strange, watching the normally apathetic Jill get this angry. Evidently she wasn't as calm as the girl had previously thought. Still, things weren't looking good; if the Spinda survived this attack, it'd probably be all over.

Santa, surprisingly enough, was actually at a higher level than Jill was. This also played a large role in why she was so hard for the Totodile to take down. With the Spinda’s anger levels steadily increasing, she was turning into quite the psycho bitch. The spotted panda romped around their battlefield with the intention of causing everything she saw destruction. She snapped sticks in half just to watch them break, feeling a sadistic sense of satisfaction as she heard the snapping sound they made. She thrashed the dead leaves on the ground apart with her wobbly feet just to hear them crunch into thousands of tiny pieces.
All were very enjoyable to the young Spinda, but she found the most satisfaction in fighting against that rude and obnoxious Totodie. Her voice was starting to hurt her, but she was not going to ‘go down’ like Jill had ordered her. Not now, not ever! It would be pretty darn difficult for her to go down when she was this pissed! She shouted out another Uproar at the Totodile, even though she was starting to get a little sick of using the attack. She was still going to use it, since it appeared to do more damage against the Totodile.
