Arriving in a flash of light, Chris and the group soon found themselves in Route 6. "Well, this is certainly a cheerful place" Chris laughed, thinking about how powerful Arcane would be now. "I sure can't wait until our first battle. What do you think?" he asked Jay with a big smile.

Jay shrugged, gazing around at her surroundings. They were in a large, spacious cavern. The walls were tall, and glancing upwards left one with a sense of vertigo. They were literally walking blind.
"It's creepy in here," She muttered, inching closer to Chris.

"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe" Chris told her, holding Jay close to him. "Especially since all my Pokemon have reached full power now. I don't think we'll have too many problems anymore." Smiling inwardly, he was glad that he had fed them all those candies.

Saying she was uncomfortable was an understatement. Pressed against the Professor, Jay felt slightly uneasy and terrified at the same time. Her heart was pounding, and her hands felt a little clammy.
"You really didn't have to buy me so many rare candies," She whispered to him, face feeling hot. A fierce blush rose to her cheeks, staining the typically ivory skin a very bright red. Her thoughts drifted to Nero, and how powerful he was now. The sleek Typhlosion had demonstrated his thunderpunch for her - a tactic she wasn't sure where he had picked up. She had never taught it to him, anyways.
Up ahead, there was suddenly a very bright light. A pokemon's eyes glittered like diamonds.

"I know, but I wanted you to have them anyway" Chris told her, smiling at her before the Sableye appeared in front of them. "It was because I care a lot about you." Once the Sableye appeared, Chris instinctively released Arcane, who let out a fierce roar that echoed throughout the entire cave. "Start this off with Ice Beam" he commanded, smiling because he was wondering how powerful he had become. With a huge smile, Arcane released the powerful beam of frozen energy.

Sableye let out a strangled shriek. It was frozen solid, completely encased in a thick layer of solid ice. It struggled to move, and found mobility entirely impossible.
Jay raised a thin, black eyebrow. She would be lying if she said she wasn't impressed.

"Okay Arcane, now show us what you can do with Judgment!" Chris commanded. His entire body glowing with ghost energy, Arcane let out another huge roar as hundreds of thin, purple laser beams shot out above him and fired straight at Sableye. The general idea was that Sableye would have all the beams shoot straight through his body, severely damaging him.

The sheer force of the blast shattered the ice, and with it KO'd Sableye. Seeing this, some of the weaker pokemon lurking in the shadows retreated, while the much stronger ones came out to play.
This time, a Rotom appeared. Tendrils of static electricity shimmered over it's entire body, casting a slight glow around it. This was a serious foe - leveled up nearly enough to match Arcane.

Just by taking a single look at the foe, Chris could tell that this Rotom was going to be a tough foe. "Watch out Arcane, this is going to be tough...Oh, what the hell am I saying? It should be easy. Arcane, use your Judgment again!" he commanded. Once again, Arcane fired the massive assault of energy beams at the Pokemon, hoping for a powerful hit again.

[[This isn't only you guys... right?]]
The Rotom grinned as the attack did not hit, it had slipped to the side at the last minute. This was one tough Rotom, and he was going to show the Arceus that a legendary against legendary was not a good pair-up. The Arceus was going to pay for even trying to attack him! Rotom did not wait. He laughed. It was a loud, loud laugh, and it would bring scared thoughts to the Pokemon around him. Except for maybe the Arceus. It was, after all, a legendary Pokemon.
Then the Rotom faced the Arceus, grinning maliciously. <Here's a taste of your own medicine,> he rasped, letting loose a huge Confuse Ray. Ten small orbs turned the field a dark color, and they floated in the air towards Arceus. Then the Rotom let loose a powerful Discharge attack. He hoped the Arceus would just fade. Battling a legendary Pokemon wasn't going to be good for him, but he had to do this for everyone else he knew. Which was pretty much every other Pokemon in this small cave.

Instinctively, Jay latched onto Chris' arm, emerald eyes wide as the confuse ray enveloped Arcane. The girl said nothing, completely characteristic of the stoic trainer, and just watched the battle. She had her own two pokemon - Kaight and Nero had leveled up enough to help, but she was curious to see what the Professor would do.

Giving a nod to Arcane, he returned the Pokemon to ensure that he wouldn't cause any unnecessary suffering. "Alright then, what's say we make this one more interesting Rotom? You have a buddy? If so, I challenge you to a double battle. Releasing both Keregos and Felicia, he said "Do you accept?"

Rotom nodded as well, gazing into the shadows and calling for a friend. A thin, elegant Banette seemed to dance through the air as she joined Rotom, doing a twirl before flashing the pair of legendary pokemon a sinister grin.
Without waiting for the opponents to attack first, Rotom unleashed a powerful electrical storm. Discharge was it's strongest move. The electricity illuminated the entire cavern with a bright yellow flash, and the surge of electricity enveloped both Keregos and Felicia, as well as Banette.
Narrowing her eyes, Banette brushed herself off. She had taken damage from Rotom's discharge, and wasn't too pleased about it. Slower than her companion, she unleashed a spherical mass of shadows, swirling and pulsating with energy of the damned.
Jay kept her grip on Chris' arm, biting her bottom lip.

"It's okay, stand strong" Chris told the two of them, watching as his legendaries shrugged off the Discharge with relatively little effort due to their typing. Keregos took the Shadow Ball for Felicia, smiling. "Okay, are you ready for the combo we devised?" Chris asked.
<Personally, I think it's dangerous> Felicia answered.
<Yeah, we've never done anything like it before> Keregos agreed. But regardless, they began to focus on the Rotom, smiling for some reason.
That reason sson became evident when they yelled <Combo attack, SpaceTime Unity!> Felicia started with a Spacial Rend, while Keregos followed with a Roar of Time. Now, they didn't know what effect it would cause. It could probably range from either creating a whole new universe, or creating a space where the target inside would see memories of the past.

Rotom was struck by the attack, but Banette managed to dodge. She giggled, covering her mouth with a shadowy hand. The powerful blast wasn't all that accurate.
Rotom suffered massive damage. Completely disoriented and confused, he glanced from Banette to the pair of legendaries with a blank look on his face. <What's going on?> He asked them. His memory was a blank slate.
"It might not be a good idea to keep using that," Jay whispered, noticing the effect on Rotom.

"Oh dear, it simulated the effect of Uxie" Chris gasped, horrified. "Keregos, Felicia, no more SpaceTime Unity. Is that understood?"
The two gave a solemn nod before turning to the Banette. <I really don't think we should battle anymore> the Palkia told her. <Your friend needs your help, and I think you might be the only one who can help.>

The Banette nodded, especially because Rotom had become a blank slate of thought. She hurried to the pair of humans, looking quite scared and desperate. <Please,> she rasped, glancing at Keregos and Felicia thoughtfully. <Can you please get us something... you know, something we could use maybe?> She pleaded this, as she needed something, she didn't know what, to heal her friend. A Pokemon Center would probably be too extreme. There had to be something that they could do.
Hysterical, the Banette shouted. <I need something... something!> She pointed to the Rotom, her face a mask. If that was what they'd do, she might as well go to a Pokemon Center, if the humans were not going to help her.
Rotom stared around blankly, not really knowing who anyone or anything was. This caused quite a large chorus of caring cries, and many Pokemon showed, but did not dare go any closer. These two Pokemon could cause lots of damage, and they'd rather not have their thought go away, as their leader, Rotom had. If the Rotom couldn't stand up to the Pokemon, they couldn't. But it was quite unfair in their minds, as it was either two against one or three against one. Banette hadn't done enough.

"Yes, we will help you as best as we possibly can" Chris told the Banette, returning Keregos and Felicia to their Pokeballs. "Banette, do you have any ideas of anything we can use to get Rotom's memory back? All I have is Arceus, but he doesn't have all 16 plates yet. And without those, he can't do all too much. But...Do you think the Mind Plate would be able to restore his memories?"

<Well, I'm not entirely sure. But... try what you can. After all, it can't possibly do anything worse than what has already happened,> she said. Banette was not entirely sure if this was the best idea, but it seemed that was all she had. After all, Rotom was a good friend, and she was not going to have him going around with a blank mind.
She scowled at the thought of the combination. <Next time, don't use those two attacks together. Unless you're battling a Gym Leader or something. The gym leaders always have a way to be able to heal the Pokemon.> She grimaced at the sound of her raspy voice. That wasn't exactly a good sound to hear, but it was the most she could offer, for she was quite broken up at the fact Rotom, her dear friend, had just lost his entire memory.

"Yeah, sorry. I'm just the type of person who wants to see how certain moves combine together" Chris admitted, patting Arcane on the back. "Now Arcane, use the Mind Plate to bring Rotom's memory back.
<I've never done anything like that before, but I should have enough power to do it> Arcane told them all, using the Mind Plate and beginning to glow with a bright blue aura. Soon, the Rotom began to glow in the same way as his memories began to return.
