Sakura waited patiently at the cliffs, hanging her feet over the edge, enjoying the overview of the ocean.

"Hey, Sakura!" Aryll waved. She'd have run to her friend, but she was a bit afraid to... she was, after all, at the top of a cliff. Walking cautiously toward Sakura, she sat down beside her. "This place is beautiful," she said in awe, as she looked down at the ocean below.

Sakura looked out at the view. "I'm trying to see if we can hitch a ride on lugia today." She smiled.

Aryll was surprized. "You have a Lugia? I didn't know that." She couldn't even imagine riding the Legendary Pokemon, Lugia; it would be awesome! "I can't wait until I get my first Legendary..."

Sakura smiled. "Lugia isn't mine. The site of pokeballs make her run away. But usually...if I'm lucky, I'll see 'im out there." Sakura glanced at Aryll. "Do you hear something?" She stared at Aryll's egg. It was shaking....was it? No...but it was! "Aryll your egg is hatching!"

Aryll stared in astonishment. She hadnt expected it to hatch so soon. "That was fast! I cant wait to see what it is..." She gently set the egg down in front of her and watched as it started to hatch...

Sakura lay on her stomache, eye level with the egg. The crack she had noticed before split downward more. A small hole soon began to form, and Sakura could see a flash of blue. Then, a small claw bore it's way out. It looked as though it was a bird's foot. After sitting and watching for what seemed like hours, Sakura spotted a small, greyish beak. Knowing enough the dangers of helping the pokemon out, all the two could do was keep on staring in silence. Just then, with a final thrust, a small pokemon poked its head out. "Wow...." Sakura stared in amazement. "Cooooooo..." The pokemon could sit in Sakura's hands. And then...as it started cleaning itself...the two realize the pokemon... "Articuno.."

Aryll almost screamed with excitement. "An Articuno!" It was her absolute favorite Pokemon ever, and she'd wanted one ever since she became a trainer. She picked up the baby Articuno. "It's sooooo cute!" She was too excited even to speak.

The articuna rubbed its warm, plush, feathery, tiny head against Aryll's cheek. ((You can play it now. is yours.))
Sakura used her finger to stroke its back. "If that's not the healthiest articune I'd ever seen!" She started examining its body parts, and such.
Name: you choose Gender: you choose Level: 5 Attacks: Gust, Powder Snow
"It should be able to fly in about one-two weeks, should you teach it." The professor noted.

"Teach her to fly? ...How do you teach a bird to fly? I thought they learned on their own..." She looked down at the baby Articuno. "I'm going to call you Zephyr." Zephyr chirped happily. "I'm guessing she's to young to start training... But Feather could use a lot of training still. And, we can look for wild Legendary Pokemon while we're at it, right?"

Sakura nodded. "If you have a pokemon that can fly already, have them teach Zephyr." The teen pulled a rolled up rope out of her backpack, and tied quadruple knots arounda thin, yet sturdy tree. "I'm gonna climb down this cliff. It's too dangerous to bring a large pokemon down there, considering there could be dangerous sea pokemon." The professer then hung the rope over the cliff.
"Lugia's bound to be down there. Or who knows, maybe another pokemon!" Sakura ripped out a pokeball. "Mew, guard this baby Articuno with your life, should anything happen, come down here. Aryll, you okay with that?"

"Yeah, I'm okay with that." She trusted Saki. As Aryll looked down over the edge of the cliff, she told Saki, who was hanging the rope over the cliff, "Are we really gonna climb down that? Is it safe?"

"It's the only way I know how to get down there, I'll go first, worst comes to worst, you fall and I catch you!" she smiled. "But that won't happen! Don't be scared." she already started her way down the rope.
As for mew, it had cradled Zephyr in its arms, and created a round, pink bubble shield around itself, protecting it at all costs.

Zephyr was a bit nervous at first, being left alone with the Mew. But, it was only a few short minutes before the baby Articuno fell asleep. Aryll, who was usually a brave person, wasn't too scared as she started slowly climbing down the rope. All she really worried about was the dangerous sea Pokemon that Saki mentioned. But, she soon, safely, met Saki at the bottom.

"Alright, Aryll. Ready to get your swim on?" Sakura, without waiting for an answer, ripped off her clothes, revealing but a bathing suit, and swim quickly out in the still water. She knew Aryll may not come, but she wanted to find Lugia so they'd all be safe.
"Luuuuuuuu," I soft purring noise sang beneath Sakura. And just then, Sakura was dragged unerwater. Seconds later she appeared again, screaming with excitement, and she rode the back of a HUGE lugia, who shot into the air and back under the water. It then gracefully floated on its stomache among the water, moving slowly to shore.
"Aryll! Look at her! She's beautiful eh?" It was within moments when Lugia 'parked' itself on the steady beach. Happy to be joined by a friendly face.
"Lugia, this is Aryll." She beckoned for Aryll to come.

Aryll, fascinated, slowly approached the Lugia. "She's beautiful..." Aryll said, quietly, as she joined Sakura. "I'd have never thought a Legendary would let you come so close... It makes sense that Zephyr doesn't run away, but she's just a baby... Saki, how did you ever meet her?" she asked, referring to the Lugia.

Sakura giggled. "You'd think it'd be something I wouldn't remember?" She stroked the back of Lugia. "It was my first time here. It was storming..and raining. The island was new to me and I had ventured too far. I was on the beach, unable to see the tip of the cliff through the pouring showers. I remember huddling under a tree, with Seishin warming me. The tide was high, and there was little beach to stay on, and it was impossible for me to avoid getting wet."
Lugia backed herself back into the water, with Aryll and Saki on her back; and floated gracefully. "I couldn't see a thing...just the moonlight on the horizon. But I could hear a soft song in the distance. It dawned on me that it was like Tanali's voice in Cheyenne Region, and a then fell asleep, dreaming of home." Lugia was then making a soft cooeing noise. "Luuuuuuu....luuuuu," in a song. "I woke up a while later, in the middle of the ocean. Seishin by my side...we were riding something..but I didn't know what. I was coughing, and felt feverish, and sick. I could barely keep my eyes open...and...I fainted. But I could remember seeing these...eyes...right in front of me...and hearing the song." Sakura sighed. "I woke up and I was in the Cleric's office in the hotel resort." She shrugged. "It was a lot better outside, and bright...but the clouds were looming along the ocean, I could see."
Lugia's hum was beautiful and calming. "I had Seishin's help following back to where I was the night before..but we managed to get there. When we got there...I looked out into the bare ocean. Nothing, and wasn't that my luck? I decided to stay there that night..I really wanted to meet my savior. Seishin had stayed as well, despite his own will." The professor took a deep breath, hungover on her words. "It grew dark, and cold. And of course...rainy. But I was prepared this time, and refused to rest. That's when I heard it..the deep whisper. A large figure in the water, emerged from beneath and and soared in the sky....it was a Lugia. And a beautiful one. Every night I went and watched her...and I knew she knew I was there." Sakura breathed.
"LUUU!" Lugia exclaimed, and Sakura held tight. Lugia shot up into the air like a rocket, but, strangely, kept Aryll and Saki on her. Sakura screeched, surprised. "Wow..." Sakura looked down, at the ocean below. "I went back one day and she wasn't there. So I climbed on my Tropius and we flew over the ocean, looking for her shadow under the water. But there was nothing. We landed on the cliffs, and I could hear the song again..but it was coming in an opposite direction of the beach. I followed it. No doubt was Lugia trapped in a large net. The net was shocking her when she moved...and where the net bonded was a badge with two letters engraved in it. 'T D.' I had my electric pokemon set the wounded Lugia free...and...I knew the only way to return her to the ocean where she belonged...was by catching her." Sakura stroked Lugia. "I didn't want to do that to a wild pokemon, but I had already thrust a pokeball at her. I felt horrible."
"When we arrived at the beach, I decided it was best for her to return to her nest underwater, and released her. She look aweful..but within minutes, she was flying again. I then discovered the powers of the healing waters. Glancing at my pokeball...I threw it at the groud, stomping, smashing, and stabbing it. I didn't want anybody to own her." Sakura looked at Aryll with a smile. "She and I have been buddies since. And uh..sorry for the long story.

"That's amazing... I'd have never thought a wild Pokemon would save a person like that. And after being captured by Team Death, she still trusts people? Have you met any other wild Legendaries?"
