Fang was pecked repeatedly over and over again. Running away from her he yelped in pain. <Hey! OUCH! Watch, ouch, it!> He yelled. Scrambling back and forth he tried to knock her off. <Grr, you're getting on my nerves!> He warned. Stings awkwardly patted the Spoink with her tail. <Err, it's alright?> She wasn't sure what to do in times like this. Amber picked the Spoink up in her arms. She looked at him with a smile. "Are you OK, little Spoink?" She asked. Turning herself back to the battle she smirked. "Fang, use Ice Fang!" Fang turned around sharply, kicking up some grass as he did. His fangs turned white as he charged at the Spearow. Fang used Ice Fang!

The Spoink gave a weak nod to the female who was holding him. <I-I think s-so.>
It chocked out weakly. Gazing weakly towards the Spearow, the dark gray pig shuddered. The bird might as well have been an apparition. She was definitely scary enough when she was determined to fight the Poochyena. Even with that however, the Spoink wanted to be friends with the bird. Why wasn't he accepted? The Spearow relented the peak attack and hovered over the ground as Fang ran a bit farther, trying to get away from her beak. She flapped her wings silently but rather quickly to stay airborne. Her keen black eyes giving a harsh stare. Much to that of a leer. She however, was too busy staring harshly at the pooch before her to notice that it was running after her with a fang of icy qualities. One that would be very effective against her horrid resistance of the cold. The fang sunk into her body and from the strong pain that racked her body, her wings stopped beating as fast. This caused her to fall to the ground, a scintilla of pain ranking her body again from the impact with the hard ground. Spearow|Female uses leer

Fang backed up slightly at the Leer, gosh did that Spearow have that Leer down. That was someting to look into! He snarled and waited for Amber to tell him what to do next.
Amber placed the Spoink down gently and wrapped her scarf around him. Sure, it would get bloody but she didn't care; Pokemon came first. "Fang, use one more Tackle !" Fang charged at the Spearow one last time, his eyes directly on her he wasn't going to let her hurt that Spoink and get away with it.

The Spoink shifted calmly into the scarf the female had placed around him. It was warm and it was definitely helping his body which was slowly getting cold from the blood it was loosing. Biting it's lip though, he put pressure on one of the cuts on his arms that was bleeding. Slowly, ever so slowly, the bleeding would stop so he could move to the next bleeding wound.

The Spearow hobbled onto her feet, eyes giving a sharp glare at the Poochyena before her but it wasn't a leer attack, more of just a stern gaze. One that an angry mother would give to her misbehaving child.
She watched quietly, for once it seemed, as the canine before her started to charge for a tackle. The dog didn't know any tact it seemed. She was watching it and it goes head on? No side charge? Now wolf like circling? How pathetic of a tactic. Cawing in annoyance she flapped her wings quickly, though wincing from from the pain that shoot into her body from the fang attack, and flew straight up. Hovering over the pooch, and successfully avoiding the tackle, she twirled her body, causing her beak to face down towards the ground and tried to dive bomb Fang into a peck attack. ::Spearow:: Spearow|Female uses peck

Amber knelt down by the Spoink and went through her bag, finally finding a Potion she held it in front of the Spoink. "I'm sorry but this is going to sting a bit!" She sprayed it on the Spoink's wounds and hoped he felt better after that. Turning her head to the battle she saw Fang was being Pecked again by the Spearow.
<OUCH! GAH! Again with the Peck?!> Fang kept running back and forth trying to shake the Spearow off. He kept barking at at her. <Oh yeah, about me being a nice puppy, I'M NOT!> He yelled, trying to scare her off.
Amber looked at Stings, the Spearow was hopefully weakened by now. Maybe she could switch out Fang with Stings so she could get some training done. "Fang, switch out! Come on, Stings!"
Stings perked her head up and stared at the Spearow. <WAH! I have to go against her?!> "Use Poison Sting, then use String Shot at her beak!" Stings shot the Poison Sting at the Spearow only to back up a bit more then shooting the String Shot at her beak, hoping to keep it shut for a while.

NOTES; (: MUSE; this song gave me inspiration TAGS; Mods, Dragoness AC POKEMON; Spoink (M), Spearow (F)
Spoink winced nervously when she warned him that whatever she was going to do might sting - he was admittedly a little nervous, even though she was obviously very kind. However, when she sprayed the potion over his aching body, he relaxed, feeling the pain of the wounds start to ease. <Thank you,> he told her sincerely. Maybe she would be his friend, because clearly the Spearow had a much different relationship in mind. He still ached a little from where she'd injured him, though the Potion had done wonders in making him feel better.
Giving a cackle-like laugh, the Spearow angled her wing accusingly toward the trainer, after the Poochyena had been switched out. <Aha!> she cried accusingly. <CHEATING, are we!?> She practically yelled the accusation, the poor paranoid bird trembling in her feathers with a mixture of her odd nature, as well as her frustration with the tactics the trainer had used.
She shrieked in anger when the poisonous barbs sank into her skin, though thankfully, some just slid right off her feathers. She gave herself a mighty shake to try and dislodge some of them, but others would not budge, causing her further pain. She avoided having the string-shot hit her beak, but it connected with one wing instead, covering it in sticky string. <Disgusting!>
All the same, they were in the midst of a battle, and she was determined to win. Knowing that flying-type moves were super-effective against stupid bugs like the Weedle, she gave an evil Leer in Stings' direction before lunging at him with her sharp beak, aiming to peck his vulnerable form.

Amber smiled at the Spoink. She turned back to the battle now...finding that Stings wasn't doing so good...
<WAAAH!> Stings zoomed out of the way just in time before the Spearow got her. The Leer had frightened her and she was moving barely. <N-n-n-o! I-I'm g-g-going t-t-o w-w-win!> She said, shaking. "Stings! Use the Poison Ball!" Amber cried out. Stings, using her String Shot to make a round ball then shooting the Poison Sting into the ball. it glowed a odd purple and she whacked it towards the Spearow.
Used String Shot and Poison Sting to make a Poison Ball!

- <You? Win? Fat chance.> The Spearow faked a laugh at the Weedle’s stuttering comment, taking a bold step forward despite her wounds from facing the Poochyena. That Ice Fang had taken the largest chunk of energy out of her, but she had enough confidence to take out this small fry. She raised her wings to get her into the air, but the sticky threads made that a difficult task. She practiced flapping them harder to get her up in the air, nearly exhausting her of her energy. She let herself rest on the ground, panting in ignorance to the Weedle’s combination that was forming before her.
- <What…what is Stings doing?> The Spoink asked with a curious whisper, afraid to alert the Spearow to the attack while she was distracted. His ears twitched as he listened to his surroundings, making sure that nothing unusual would interrupt the battle. Satisfied with nature’s natural soundtrack, he continued watching with interested eyes, occasionally huddling up to the trainer during each tense moment.
- Then the Poison Ball struck; it was nothing impressive, but it would do some damage. It was all really a hit or miss attack, instead of having a String Shot miss and a Poison Sting hit. When it shot itself at the Spearow’s side, poisonous barbs lodging themselves into her feathered face, she sensed a different in power. She squawked in annoyance as she batted the poisonous sticky ball off of her, but it was too late. She was…poisoned. Enraged at the constant stinging sensation that drove her bananas, the Spearow rushed at the Weedle with a speedy Peck attack, leaving little time to dodge since she didn’t use a ‘Leer’ beforehand.

She was finally whacked with a sharp beak pecking at her. <OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!> She was thrown into amber's feet and groaned.
Amber blinked, it happened so quickly. She returned Stings to her Pokeball and smiled sadly. "Well, you tried at least." She put her ball away gently and called upoon Fang. "Ready to finish it?" She asked. He barked. His dark eyes turned to the Spearow. <This is for Stings!> "Use Ice Fang!" Fang charged at the Spearow once more, hoping to end this!

[Dammit, now I wanna do these frigging pics as well.] Spearow crowed in delight as she knocked the irritating Weedle out, but as she was about to devour her prey, it was returned to its Pokeball. Spearow glared at the Trainer. First they tried to kill iher, and now they denied her a well earned meal?! This was all a conspiracy against Spearow! The audacity. The nerve! How rude!As the Poochyena was summoned yet again, Spearow panicked. The fangs again closed around her body, a bone chilling, nerve numbing cold surging through her small form. With the Ice Fang and the poison put together, Spearow was finally overhwelmed, swaying on her thin talons before tottering over, quite unconscious, dreaming paranoid dreams of government plots to tear down her tree. Spearow has fainted. Stings and Fang each gain half a level.

Fang happily went back to Amber wagging his tail at his victory. Though part of it was due to Stings as well there was no reason he couldn't gloat a little...
Amber picked up the Spoink and quietly went away from the out cold Spearow, just in case she would wake up again. After out of view she placed the Spoink down. "Feeling better?" She asked. Fang went up next to her and sat down. Staring at the Spoink he wondered what exactly he was trying to do to that Spearow.

::spoink:: Pokemon encounter ! Spoink nodded sadly, a tad sad that the poor Spearow was subdued. He couldn't help but feel responsible for her falling. <It was my fault, wasn't it?> Asked the piglet mournfully, looking up at the girl and feeling a large tear roll down his cheek.
The bird was only in this sad state because he'd scared her - and this was only because he was trying to selfishly fulfill his want of becoming her friend. Of course, this wasn't a selfish thing, but the pig's mind was a tad less rational than normal. Feeling choked up from guilt, the little piglet began to weep. <I didn't mean to.. I didn't want to hurt anyone,> Sobbed the Spoink, salty tears burning as they ran down the scratches and scrapes on his body.

She said, trying to cheer it up. Fang sat next to him and growled softly. <Don't you worry about that Spearow anymore! I....Stings and I took care of it.> He said, his ego was starting to take over.
Amber looked through her bag and pulled out a Pokeball. She placed it in front of the Spoink. "We sure would love to have you on the team, Spoink. I'm sure you'll make lots of friends!" | | Amber offered for the Spoink to come along. | |

Spoink looked at the Pokeball. Someone wanting to be his friend? It was both congruous and desirable. He nodded tearfully, slightly overwhelmed by his kind protectors offering him companionship. Bouncing forward, he poked the Pokeball with his snout, feeling it working its magic on him. He was instantly absorbed into the Pokeball, where he settled down, ready to start a new life at last. ::spoink:: You caught Spoink. Amber smiled and put the Pokeball away. "Hmm, Max sounds nice." She said before she stuffed the ball in with Stings. She returned Fang to his ball as well, though he didn't look too happy about that, and yawned. Long day already, she decided it was time for a small nap.
Walking a bit father she placed her bag down under a shadey tree and yawned. Leaning against the trunk she closed her eyes for a small nap.

An Oddish and a Budew's made their way through the Route, arm in arm. They were best friends, and had been for some time now. They did everything together. It was often congruous to such a small pair of Pokemons' safety to act this way. As the Budew, the boy of the pair, saw the Trainer, he tilted his head, the bud atop his head rustling in curiosity as he looked at her. A Trainer, staying here the night? That was an oddity. >What is it, Bude-WAAAAAH!< The female Oddish tripped over her own feet and fell straight into the lap of the sleeping Trainer, her kicks and shrieks enough to wake the dead. ::budew:: ::oddish::

Rubbing her head she looked at what was in her lap. "A Oddish?" She said out loud. Her head finally went back to normal asshe sat cross legged looking at the two Pokemon. Her eyes going to the other one she frowned. Oh gosh, the Budews are haunting me... She thought, thinking about the other one.
"Umm, hello?" She said, smiling a bit. It was stil a early way too early for her but now she was up so, she would try and make small talk with Pokemon.

Oddish was a little intimidated, to say the least, and Budew wasn't sure what to do at all. He didn't really talk, leaving that to Oddish despite the pleading gaze that was directed at him. Turning back to the Trainer, the Oddish stood up, remaining on her lap, at least until she asked her to get off. Seeing the Trainer stand up suddenly, she leaped off her lap and landed unceremoniously on her rear. "Owww," she whispered, before seeing that the Trainer had hit her head on a nearby branch. "I'm so sorry!" she gasped. ::oddish:: ::budew::

She looked at the Oddish and then back at the Budew. "Err, what are two grass types like you doing out at this time of nig--day?" She just noticed it was dawn, so much for sleep. She yawned to prove her point and looked at the grass pair.

- <Oh, well, you know. We're just two cool dudes.> The Oddish said with a forced laugh, trying to hide the strangeness of the situation. Budew only looked at her as if she was crazy. Great. Some best friend he was trying to be. She stopped giggling and sighed, mostly giving up on the chance to revive a conversation.
- <We like to do morning exercise to start the day off right. I heard that trainers liked to do that a lot.> He looked at her curiously, always thinking that all humans were trainers. That was the norm around these parts, right? Might as well call every human they saw a trainer.
- <But of course the trainers don't actually do it. That would be kind of scary.> The Oddish commented, trying to sound like the smart one. Humans were much too big for her tastes to train with, much much too big. A mere kick could hurt her pretty bad if the human simply tried to.
