Upon seeing the Bidoof, Eleanor couldn't help but to allow a smile to spread across her features. Seemed that it was hungry, and by convenience, Eleanor had an Oran Berry in her pack. She smiled to herself before taking it out. "Here," she said, offering the Oran to the beaver-like Pokémon. She then looked at the males with her typical cold glare. "Back off," she ordered, her voice quiet, yet commanding. A Berry wa a small price to pay for such a commanding Pokémon. Perhaps someone who could discipline her egg's Pokemon when it hatched.

The bidoof eyed the woman suspiciously, before allowing her focus to drift briefly to the berry she had put down for her. What was this trainer doing? Bidoof wasn't used to this. She half growled as she stepped towards the delicious looking oran, sniffing at it several times before allowing her hunger to take over. Chowing down on the berry, the angry little bidoof glared at the males. They better not dare try take her meal from her.
Finishing up the berry, the Bidoof felt a little less aggressive; barely. She turned to the trainer and tilted her head curiously as the males edged closer. A sudden rage swamping her, the little beaver tackle the closest away from her, growling all the while. Why wouldn't they just leave her be today? If she wasn't having bad luck with finding a meal, she was being fricking pestered!
She stood, hackles raised similiar to a cat as she warned the males off.
OOC/ Sorry, didn't know what else to do :c

Sending out her Pidgey, Aeria from her Pokeball, she glared at the males. "Use Sand Attack on the males who are trying to disturb the dinner of someone beyond them," she commanded. Aeria cawed and swooped down, kicking sand at the faces of the males to deter them from the female Bidoof. Her egg shook rather violently. It was close to hatching. Aeria used Sand Attack on the male Bidoof.

Curious as they were, the two male Bidoof certainly did not have a death wish. The first turned and sprinted away the moment he heard the trainer command an attack. He didn't want both the Bidoof femme and some trainer and her Pokémon coming after him! He wasn't very strong of level, after all, and fainting in the middle of a route was never your best bet. Sometimes trainers came about with their bikes, and if you weren't careful, you were roadkill. Such was the rule of the route. Darting into the bushes, he breathed deep as he was finally in the safety of undergrowth.
Bidoof has fled.
The other male was a little more brave, a little more adventurous. <I can take it,> he insisted to himself, squaring his shoulders and preparing to close his eyes when he saw the sand spraying toward him. However, he misjudged his timing, and the sand hit faster than he'd been expecting. Squealing in pain, he shrieked, <Ouch, ouch, ouch! No I can't! No I can't!> Wailing from the stinging pain in his eyes, he wheeled around and barreled out of there faster than his companion had, eager to be away from that daft bird as fast as possible. Unfortunately, he couldn't see where he was going, and he fell right into a river.
Oops.
Did I mention he couldn't swim?
Bidoof is drowning. Uh, whoops? Would you like to interfere?
As she'd already finished the berry - and was still growling slightly, worried this could be some kind of a trick - the femme stiffened and stared up at the trainer with a half-curious, half-hostile glare. <What do you want?> she demanded. From her experience, trainers were never simply kind to you because they could be. There was always a reason. <You didn't do that out of the goodness of your heart.> Her tone was sarcastic. But it was not a question, she was serious and certain. This trainer wanted something from her.
Bidoof is demanding answers...?

She saw the Bidoof begin to drown, and murmured an order to Aeria. "Finish it off with a Tackle attack." Aeria circled around and hovered over the river, flying down in an attempt to strike the flailing Pokemon's head with her plump, feathered body. ::pidgey:: Aeria used Tackle on the drowning Bidoof. [/CENTER] Without even a second glance at the Pokemon she was condemning to a watery, slow death, she turned back to the female Bidoof. "The Pokemon who can't swim here is weak, and will die. You on the other hand are strong, and you have the potential to become even stronger."She turned to watch the struggles of the Bidoof. "I can make you stronger than this. Otherwise I wouldn't have given you food just now. Of course, if you want me to prove that I'm worthy of your company, I can do that as well.

The Bidoof flailed and choked down mouthfuls of the water as he attempted to fight his way to the surface, drawing panicked breaths that only increased the amount of fluid in his lungs. <Can't... breathe...> he gasped. Finally able to poke his head above the surface, he started to call toward the banks for help. However, he'd always been the natural comedian, this Bidoof had, and so the few Pokemon within hearing range only assumed he was trying to pull them in with his usual raillery. Thus, he was pointedly ignored by them all, and when the Pidgey tackled him from above, there was too much water in his lungs for him to fight any further. Giving up, he surrendered himself to the peaceful company of death.
::bidoof:: Bidoof has drowned. You horrible, horrible person.
The female's eyes widened in sudden panic as she turned and watched the Pidgey drown her previous follower. She had been suspicious of this trainer, certainly, but she hadn't expected this level of cruelty. She took a hesitant step backward, then shook her head and stepped forward again. If I try to run, she might kill me too. Plus, the trainer was somewhat correct. Only the strong did seem to survive out here.
<You're right. But I can't just agree to accompany you,> she added. <A battle would first be necessary. You can go first.>
::bidoof:: Bidoof challenges you!

"So be it," she murmured, returning Aeria to her Pokeball and sending out Yggdrasil, the newest addition to her team. "If I win, I'll be capturing you. So if you want freedom, then fight for it."
As the Bidoof in the water succumbed to death, she ordered her Bellsprout to start off proceedings. "Growth and Vine Whip," she murmured, and the Bellsprout grew larger by around half a foot, special attack increased while her egg continued to vibrate
That completed, vines extended from his body, whipping out dust on the ground before lashing at the Bidoof's face.

::bidoof:: Pokemon encounter ! Bidoof gave a scowl at the cold woman's terms, but without verbal acknowledgement agreed to them nonetheless. She stood, poised for her opponent's moves, but what she didn't realize was that the Bellsprout bested her in agility; after the stringy plant increased in size, the vines shot out at her before she could even blink. With no chance to dodge, the Bidoof's face was unmercifully slapped by the duo of thick vines.
After a painful moment of the slapping, the plump beaver jumped to the side and quickly formulated a plan of attack. If she growled this turn, Bellsprout would definitely have time to react; so, thinking fast, the brown, furry creature turned and launched her rotund body at her plant-like foe, determination like fire in her eyes.
Bidoof was hit by Vine Whip; Bidoof used Tackle.

Yggdrasil was knocked back by the wideset form of the Bidoof, his supple body flexing to retain his balance, yet he still briefly fell over before standing on his vined feet again. Eleanor smiled coldly at Bidoof. "You'll have to do better than that if you want to end this with your freedom."Yggdrasil had totally regained his balance at this point, so Eleanor proceeded with the battle. "Growth and Vine Whip again."Again, Yggdrasil increased his size, before sending his whips lashing out to attempt a strike on the Bidoof's face while Eleanor held her egg with a smile. Yggdrasil used Growth and Vine Whip.

♀ Hit by Vine Whip ♀ Uses Growl + Tackle - Despite the Bellsprout's new size, the Vine Whip hadn't appeared to do any additional damage. She thought about that for a second, wondering what they were wasting their time on with such useless moves. She snorted, feeling as if they were mocking her. She'd show them, and expropriate herself from this woman's fearful clutches.
- If she wanted to get out of this alive, she had to try and fight. She let out a bellowing Growl, resembling some kind of 'derpy roar' instead. Well, this Bidoof wasn't much for the whole 'cute act', so might as well try to be frightful.
- She charged towards the Bellsprout with a Tackle, well aware that her Growl might have given the Bellsprout more of a chance to strike back. Anything to escape the parlous fate that was given to the male Bidoof from earlier.

With his attack lowered, a sensation that was new to him, Yggdrasil was again hit by the full bulk of the Bidoof's weight, and skidded back, just managing to stay on his feet this time. Eleanor smiled appreciatively, the upturn of her lips becoming mocking as she regarded the Bidoof with an icy gaze. "If that's all you have, you don't stand a chance. Your attacks are pitiful," she told the beaver-like Pokemon. Looking back at Yggdrasil, she spoke. "Vine Whip." He obeyed, sending the vines at the Bidoof's legs this time to try and get her off her feet while she was in close proximity from her Tackle attack. She grasped her egg tightly with a smile. ::bellsprout:: Yggdrasil used Vine Whip. [/B] ::egg:: Incubated for 15 posts. Hatch please? =D

[!] Egg is hatching!! Oblivious to the battle going on, a miracle of life was happening. The egg started to crack as the Pokémon inside wriggled, getting ready for her debut. Wait... why was she alone? She needed a partner for this! Well, nevermind that. It was her turn to shine.
The egg hatched, releasing a brilliant glow of light, leaving nothing but a little mouse-like Pokémon. It was quite a happy pokemon, red and beige in color. She let out a little spark from her cheeks. "Plu!"

OOC: Ugh. Must I?
IC: Eleanor rolled her eyes. yay. A Plusle. Well, at least it wasn't a Sunkern. Beckoning to it to climb up onto her shoulder, she did so with a squeak, and Eleanor turned back to see how Yggdrasil's attack did.

♀ Hit by Vine Whip ♀ Uses Tackle - <I'm working on new attacks...> The Bidoof grumbled, not enjoying the criticism while she was undergoing such attacks. The Vine Whip wasn't all that remarkable after her Growl, but pain was pain. She hissed as she struggled to get back up; the lashes she had received from the grass type now visible on her legs and hips.
- They really were having a ball over there weren't they, with Pokemon hatching and shit. Trainers really did have it easy while all of the Pokemon did the manual stuff. What convenience, she thought with an indignant snort. Still, if she was going to win this battle, she was going to have to rely on the moves given to her.
- She wised up and charged ahead at the Bellsprout, focusing on his center in order to make the most accurate hit possible. He was such a skinny opponent, that she was often worried that her moves would miss. She squeaked right before the impact, bracing herself for a little recoil.

This time, Yggdrasil was ready, and tensed his body to jump to the side. "To the left, and then counterattack with a Vine Whip." Eleanor ordered this, while giving her new Plusle a scratch under the chin. She didn't like babies, but they needed attention, didn't they? Not to mention experience... Even though it would lower the experience Yggdrasil received, it would teach her new Plusle how to fight. "Sweet Kiss," she ordered. It was a move Plusle wouldn't learn naturally, but egg moves were extremely useful. While still on Eleanor's shoulder, Plusle put a hand to her lips and blew a kiss at Bidoof, which formed as a large pink heart floating towards the Beaver Pokemon, while Plusle watched it with her head tilted to one side. Meanwhile, Yggdrasil jumped aside with his flexible body and sent his vines out again in an attempt to lash the Bidoof, which would hopefully be confused before long. ::bellsprout:: Yggdrasil used Vine Whip.

The Vine Whip took the Bidoof sharply across the flank and she winced just a little at the pain that ripped through her side. She was just preparing to counterattack when Sweet Kiss struck her in the face and she saw stars for several moments. Followed by little pidgey's fluttering about her head. <What ... the ...> she murmured in her confusion.
Oh this just wouldn't do. Two on one?! How on earth was that fair? But Bidoof could do very little as she dashed forwards, tripped over her own foot and landed with a rather dull thud on the compressed dirt of the ground, a small "oomph" coming from her long-toothed mouth.
She growled at the Bellsprout, adamant to at least pull off SOMETHING that would help her in this battle despite the vile confusion of the reddy rat pokémon.

Good, good. Looked like this litte brat would be of some small use after all. The baby mouse looked at Eleanor, expecting praise, but her ears drooped as she realized none was coming, her Trainer and "mama" focussed solely on the battle in front of her, rather than the freshly hatched Plusle that so needed love and nurturing. Despite the Growl that had lowered his attack, Yggdrasil was still a threat, and Eleanor knew it as well as he did, and wouldn't have been surprised if the Bidoof had seen it too. She was merely buying herself time. Desperately trying to avoid the confines of a Pokeball. Eleanor admired her persistence, but it was futile. "You're wearing it down, Yggdrasil. Continue. Vine Whip." Eleanor kept her eyes firmly on the Bidoof as Yggdrasil's vines flew out yet again, aiming to lash the Bidoof'sneck and face. ::bellsprout:: Yggdrasil used Vine Whip. [/B]

The Bidoof growled with pain under her breath as yet another Vine Whip lashed across her skin, this time striking her neck, another lashing across her cheek and drawing a bit of blood. She was starting to feel the weight of all the attacks weighing down on her, but if the trainer thought she was going to give up and run off, she was wrong. While her companions laughed and joked, treating life like a big game, she'd been lately learning that you had to fight for your survival. If you were nice, food and shelter were stolen right under your nose, and you were left cold and hungry for the night. Fighting was much the same. If you turned your back and gave up, your opponent would stab you in it.
Though panting heavily and clearly on the losing end of the battle, she forced her muscles to move as she snarled again, still unable to really see where she was going. This stupid confusion set in by the baby Pokemon held by the trainer was really affecting her, and she didn't like that at all. She only hoped that she would strike this time as she rushed the Bellsprout with the increasingly-repetitive Tackle attack.
::bidoof:: Bidoof is confused! Bidoof used Growl and Tackle!

The Tackle struck him in his viney midriff, and for a moment, Yggdrasil was winded, doubling over, before standing up again, staggering a little. The Bidoof's weight advantage was a recipe for disaster. "Vine Whip again," repeated Eleanor. The battle was getting repetitive, but both Pokémon had only one offensive move. Frustrating though it was, they would just have to continue this back and forth exchange until one of them went down. Yggdrasil yet again sent his vines whipping at the Bidoof's hiude. Yggdrasil used Vine Whip. [/B]

As she rushed forward to attack the plant Pokemon again, the Bidoof stumbled and attacked herself this time around, running headlong into a tree rather than the Bellsprout she was aiming at. As she lay there, winded and dazed, she took a deep breath and attempted to push herself back into the battle yet again.
The vines lashed across her already sore and bleeding hide at that moment, however, and though she snarled a challenge, she was unable to fight off the waves of pain and exhaustion, and she sank down onto her side. <You... win...> she growled, then closed her eyes. Unconsciousness had never been a more welcome feeling.
But what would happen now?
::bidoof:: Bidoof has fainted. Bellsprout and Plusle gain .5 level each. Capture, or move on?
