"Good job, guys. Jenna, return." Susumu snickered somewhat evilly as the female Meowth lunged at her. Instead, he wanted to force a dodge so the Bidoof wouldn't get knocked out. Hey, he couldn't go to the Pokemon Center, and he was very limited on revives. He had to keep his team strong for as long as possible. The Bidoof was recalled before the Meowth could strike, leaving only the Bellsprout and the female Meowth out to do battle. "Bo-Bo. You can handle this. Use Growth and Weatherball." He ordered, figuring that while she was using the stat raising Growth, she could properly aim at the Meowth. Indeed, Bo-Bo was enjoying her time as she felt stronger and bigger. The Meowth was right there, and her eyes were locked on her the entire time. <Don't worry, loves. I'll help ya out.> The Bellsprout boasted confidently as a big, white colored weather ball was raised over her head. She shot it out at the Meowth, hoping that it would hit her. If it didn't, well, there was plenty more where that came from. And Jenna's growls would've been in effect.

The Female Meowth hissed as the ball came at her. Whacking her on the head she let out a long hiss of pain and anger. She got up and slowly shook herself. <You'll pay!> She screeched. With her partner down for the count she was on her own, this couldn't end well. Her mouth open again she went in for a bite. Her teeth nice and sharp and ready to bite into the Pokemon's body.
The Skitty watched nervously She didn't want all of this to happen to the Trainer! It was all her fault. She sunk down to the ground and sighed heavily. She'd have to do something to repay him. Maybe...now she knew! She had one Oren berry left fro her raid from the Meowths! She'd give that to him as a thank you. She got up and walked away to find the berry.

<A stubborn one, as clear as the anger in your eyes.> The Bellsprout's body bent in all kinds of directions as she spoke, showing off her flexible body. As hard of a target as she looked, the passionate battle hungry Meowth was still able to land a good bite on her head. She winced in pain, smelling quite the foul stench from the feline's mouth during the course of the attack. Not the most pleasant experience, but she pulled through it, a bit tiredly though. "Keep it up, Bo-Bo. I'll be able to heal you with some Potions after this. You'll both be fine." Susumu continued to encourage his Pokemon, knowing that Bo-Bo had taken the least amount of hits in this battle. With her special attack so high, despite the level disadvantage, he was sure that she had a shot in this. By 'keep it up', he meant use another Weatherball, Bo-Bo figured. Since he never mentioned an attack that time. Going with her gut, she formed another Weatherball in her leaves and carried it above her head, allowing it to grow in size until it was good and ready to strike the Meowth. That blasted feline was going to pay for harming such a poor Skitty. The poor thing. ::bellsprout:: { Bo-Bo } Level 7.5 (Special Attack +3) Hit by Bite Uses Weatherball

The Meowth hissed. The ball came onto her head and she yowled. Uhg, she couldn't take this any more. It was over! Her partner was down for the count, and so was she. She fainted knowing she had defended her reputanion at least.
The Skitty came back with a Oren Berry inher mouth. She dropped it at the Trainer's feet and bowed her head. <Thank you so much! I hope you cn accept my gift to you for going to all of this trouble!> She said.

Susumu sighed, relieved that that had been taken care of so easily and quickly. He took out Jenna's Pokeball and let her out as quickly as possible, knowing that she probably wanted to know what had happened. As the Bidoof appeared, she surveyed the damage with mild interest, still breathing heavily from the beating she had endured. Seriously, one more attack from that female Meowth and she surely would've been taken down, seeing that the pair had double teamed her. <You. Looks like you're useful.> The Bidoof commented, walking slightly closer to the Bellsprout. She could see some injuries on her that weren't there before, proof that Bo-Bo played her part well. Shame that she wasn't an interesting Pokemon, otherwise she might've liked her company. <Thanks...I think.> The Bellsprout tilted her head in confusion, uncertain of the Bidoof's words. The Skitty soon came back, not like anyone noticed that she left, but with an Oran Berry in her mouth. An offering for saving her, perhaps. <I'll take this, seeing that I worked the most.> Jenna gave a 'hmth' over to the Bellsprout, and eagerly ate the Oran Berry, to Bo-Bo's horror. Still, she was docile, and wouldn't confront the Bidoof over such a trivial thing. "Thank you, Skitty. Now, I'm going to try and catch these guys and keep them off your back." He added with a snicker, grabbing a Love Ball and a Pokeball from his bag. Both of his Pokemon were females, so the Love Ball should have some effect on the male Meowth. As for the female, he figured he'd waste a Pokeball on her and see what happened.

Both Meowth cringed at the talk of capture and fear struck them dumb as Love Ball and Pokeball struck their respective bodies. The male found himself in a rather comfortable ball with rose pink casing, and the electricity discharge was mild and more irritating than actually painful. He quickly found himself comfortable, and before any thoughts of escape could intrude on his comfort, the Love Ball chimed. Meowth had been captured. The female, on the other hand, was experiencing considerable pain as the sparks singed her tail and whiskers. She would have escaped from the agony had her mate been free. But she would not be separated from him. If this was the only way she was staying with him, so be it. You caught both Meowth

Skitty breathed a sigh of relief as the Pokemon were "gobbled up," as her mind registered the event. >Hey mister, do you have another one of those Gobblers for me? It's just that I have a lot more people who wanna hurt me and not every Trainer will help me with their Gobblers,< she mewed, nosing the Pokeball containing the female Meowth to show her intent. ::skitty::

<Oh? You want to come with us, dearie?> The Bellsprout asked, confidently approaching the Skitty. After saving the adorable little girl, she was positive that she wouldn't be attacked, after all, not all wild Pokemon were savages. She would've gladly accepted the Skitty as one of her own comrades, but what really mattered was her trainer's decision. "You don't really want to come with us...do you?" Susumu asked, after seeing the Skitty prod at the female Meowth's Pokeball. He slowly picked up the two spheres, wondering if he should be allowed to capture her or not. He knew several trainers out there that would've loved such a sweet Pokemon. "I think you're better off not in the wild. Just be careful on your way in, ok?" He suggested, taking out a lovely Primier Ball just for the Skitty. It would've been the same as a normal Pokeball, except it had a royal silver color. The Skitty had a shocked look on her face as she was in the Pokeball because a few sparks got her. She quickly shook it off and let the ball take her in. It was ok in the Pokeball, time to start a new life!
The ball made a loud 'click' and stopped moving. The Skitty was caught!

Well...this was all very unexpected. Three cats in one day, and he wasn't particularly a cat person either. Still, he felt that the Skitty shouldn't have to deal with the problems of being a stray. It felt more like he did a good deed, even if she was sent directly to his PC. Hey, he had to make room for Maasaki when he got him back from Syl. His starter, at this point, was first priority. "Thanks for the help, you two. Glad we could work together like this." He grinned, getting down on one knee as he extended a hand to the Bidoof and Bellsprout. The two looked surprised, but Bo-Bo was the first to shake it. She let out a happy, confident smile while Jenna just stared. Mostly in shock. <I'll pass on the human contact.> She huffed, turning her head away with a frown clear on her face. Bo-Bo and Susumu exchanged confused looks, before shrugging. They would get to her, one way or another. Soon, both Pokemon were returned into their Pokeballs, earning a well earned rest. "Bah. It's getting late." The somewhat short teenager stared up at the sky, frowning at how dark it had gotten. Shoot. What was it, 5 o clock in the afternoon, and it felt like it was 9? Winter really was on its way.

[Sorry - LOL it generated Grumpig >.>]
Winter was coming as sure as the leaves had all but disappeared from the branches, a few valiant ones still clinging for dear life. And with winter came the lack of berries, of which there was usually an abundance on this part of the route. One such Pokemon had pigged out on these berries all spring, summer and fall, and was now quite a chubby little thing. In fact, the Pokemon had gotten so fat off his ridiculous bounty that he could scarcely jump even a few inches off the ground.
Grunting with exertion as he bounced again and again, the overweight Pokemon glowered at that single, juicy Oran which sat atop one of the lowest branches of a tree, in a nest made by a few Taillow, who'd long since moved further down the route and abandoned the little home. But while the nest was disused, it had sheltered this berry from the elements, and he wanted it bad.
But his greed got the better of him, in the end. Unable to lift his large amounts of pudge, he huffed angrily and sent out a violent psychic wave through the surrounding area. He did not notice that anyone, or anything else, really, was on the route.

"Whoa!" Susumu just barely dodged that beam of light by jumping over it, as if it was a jump rope of some kind being lashed out at him. Hey, he played extreme jump roping games when he was a kid. Sometimes the reflexes stuck with him. As he landed, he then proceeded to lose his balance and fall face first on the ground. The hood on his head was propelled off, revealing a shaggy mane that desperately needed a hair cut. Damn this power outage. So many shops were closed, and he was feeling an intense need for some of his usual convenience. "Owwwww. Why me? God damn." Susumu whined, pushing himself off of the ground and rubbing some of the mud off of his face. Now it was all smeared and stuff, but he reckoned that he could find a water source of some kind eventually.

::spoink:: &YOU TWAT//
Susumu's commotion had not caught the attention of this particular Spoink at first. He had a sort of tunnel vision when it came to food. He could only focus on the one thing he wanted most. In this case, it was the Oran berry. The intensity of his desire was only amplified by the growling of his little, pudgy tummy. His attack had not worked in the least to attain the berry. Drastic action was obviously needed. He was not usually the sort to ask for help, but perhaps this once might require it.
In this quick moment in which the grumpig was not solely focused on the Oran berry, he noticed that he was not alone. Infact there was a voice nearby. A HUMAN! Brilliant. This was just what he needed. He bounced sloppily over to Susumu as if humans did not phase him in the least.
<You sir! I demand of thee. You have a great height about you. Retrieve that oran berry for me at once!> he grunted. What a grumpy piggy! He was arrogant and had a somewhat obnoxious air. One look at his pudgy body and you could tell that he was used to receiving what he wanted. He was all about business and his business was that berry.

"Hey, aren't you the asshole that just attacked me?" Susumu growled at the Spoink, biting his lip that gave off more of a pout. From the way that pearl glistened off of the Spoink's head, it appeared as if it had been used in some way. It struck him as odd, even if he didn't know much about the species itself. Except he ate them. In fact, his stomach was actually beginning to growl. Just the sight of that juicy pig meat was making him crave it even more. "This could be my lucky day. Do you have any idea how starving I've been? Canned spam is making me sick." He chuckled, a bit glad he finally found something edible. He didn't think any of his other Pokemon would be so willing as to eat it, but once this baby was roasted over an open fire, he was sure at least one of them would come around. "Yo Yamato! Help me catch some dinner!" He cried, tossing out the Pineco's Pokeball. At first, when the bug type appeared, his attention was focused on the bright blue Oran Berry in the branches. But Susumu's sudden cough and eye motions pointed him...at the Spoink. Really? Humans ate those things? Well, ok. He could try and get it for him. "Tackle, of course. No blowing up this time." He warned, knowing that random bombs would probably mess up the meat. Thee Pineco felt a bit uneasy about this, but went ahead with the Tackle anyways. Hey, as long as he didn't have to do the killing blow... WILD DINNER FOUND!

VS Spoink
The Spoink made a scowl as it saw the trainer send out a Pokémon. It attacked him, no less! How dare they get in the way of his snack time?! Because of his weight, he couldn't just bounce on his own. Instead, he used Splash to give himself a little boost and managed to barely dodge the Pineco's tackle. However, upon landing he tripped and fall on the side of his head with a thud. He quickly began to struggle to try to get up. He really let himself go... <"Curses! Why must the sweetest delicacies be the most fattening?! Who decided upon this curse?!"> he shouted. He had to keep his pearl on top of his head as he tried to get up. He kept trying to use Splash to give himself a boost but it didn't work. Instead, he kept hitting the ground again and again, frustrated at his own weight. <"You just wait! Once I regain my posture, I will put you in your place, human!"> warned the Spoink as it laid on the ground. Spoink is lazing unable to get up!.

"Dodged it, huh? Oh! Keep working at it! I'll try and set up a fire...and...sticks. We need sticks." Susumu started getting excited, especially with this plump young porker right down below him. Yamato had missed that last Tackle, but with an annoyed huff he continued to chase after the Spoink with another Tackle. By golly, for a fat potato sack, that thing could move when it needed to. "Ken. Gnaw. I need your help with something." He cried out, sending out the two Pokemon before him. The Geodude that appeared first was rather...distracted at the battle going on right behind Susumu. He even would've sneaked off in that direction if Gnaw hadn't been released right in his path. The Rattata looked dazed for a second, before registering his new trainer and companion. <Oh...> His ears lowered, realizing that his mate, Nip, was no longer around. Susumu and Ken remained oblivious to this, as the lad was too excited about food, and Ken was excited because his trainer was excited. How rare. He normally wasn't so energetic. "So. You guys have to help me find some firewood. Ken, how about you gather some dead leaves too." Susumu looked around for a second to make sure everything was ok, before giving a concluding nod. Sounded like a plan. He went off with Gnaw to help collect some wood, while Ken stayed near Yamato, knowing that there were plenty of dead leaves near by. TRAINER SUSUMU ATTEMPTS COOKING

VS Spoink
The Spoink began to panic. The trainer he was facing sent out other Pokémon to fetch materials...for cooking?! The Spoink let out a loud squeal and unfortunately forgot that a Pineco was zoning in towards him. With a loud crashing noise, Yamato slammed into him and he was knocked up onto the air. However, the extra fat that Spoink gained softened the blow if only slightly. He was also propped up back onto his coiled tail again! He shook his head and glared at the Pineco. <"How dare you! After I'm through with your overgrown bagworm, it'll be your turn, trainer!"> snarled the Spoink. Its eyes began to glow a bright fuchsia as it attacked the Yamato with an angry Psywave.

<Ow...I don't know how predators do this for a living.> The Pineco scowled, annoyed that the Spoink was able to attack him so freely. Well, this was a fight to the death for one of the sides, and it sure wasn't his! That psychic attack actually had some decent power to it, pushing him back despite his strong shell. <But I'll figure it out!> He grunted, making some more hops towards the Spoink, trying to get close enough to ram into it with another Tackle. Susumu did warn him about not using Self-Destruct, so this was the only move he really had on him. <Bah...now isn't he lucky?> Ken grumbled, many dead leaves wrapped about in his arms. Some were falling over his head like rainbow colored raindrops, due to picking up a bit too many. Gnaw scuttled back with some twigs in his mouth, while Susumu had used Gnaw's teeth to help him cut down a small tree. They only stared at Ken in awe, wondering why he thought they needed that many. "Um. I think we have enough. Just make a pile over there...and help me cut some of the branches off of this tree." Susumu huffed, lifting the thing off of his shoulder and resting it on the ground. It wasn't bulky, really, but wood was wood. And this was the best thing he could find. Gnaw helped him by chewing off some of the branches, while Ken snapped them off with his mighty fists. For the 'finale', Susumu held it up like a totem pole, before leaning his leg on it, making the tree snap in half. "...now this next part might be hard." Susumu sighed. The actual 'fire part' would've been easy if Maasaki was here, but Syl had taken him for the time being. Still. Of course, while his fat had helped cushion him momentarily, it also ended up being part of his doom when he saw the Pineco rushing toward him. Panicking, the Spoink attempted to dodge out of the way, but scarcely got half an inch before he was rammed into again. His fat jiggled in a comical way as he swayed atop his coiled spring, almost seeming as if he might fall yet again.
Perhaps it was luck, on his part, but he did manage to stay on his feet... erm, spring. The Spoink bounced on the spot as he thought about what to do. He really only knew one attack, but it was getting sort of repetitive. The Pokemon would surely know what to expect now, right?
Being so fat, Spoink had never battled much in his life before, and he was ignorant to the fact that his only other move was, well, completely useless. Thinking instead that he was quite the smart cookie, he sneered at his opponent. <Prepare for a whole new level of pain!>
He then proceeded to flail around like a maniac.

<Gotcha! I'm good! I'm bad! Err. wait. that does mean the same thing. I think.> The Pineco quickly tried to fix himself, despite how happy he was after making that second successful Tackle. The Spoink seemed to be jiggling a lot, as if he hardly exercised at all. Poor guy. Well, even he was starting to wonder if he would be able to eat Spoink meat. If not that, then anything. There was that Oran Berry in the tree that the Spoink originally wanted to eat, but it was too high for him to reach. <Hey. What...what are you doing?> The Spoink was...failing his arms around? Why? What was going on? Was he in danger of something bad? The cocky attitude the Spoink displayed made it even more believable, and Yamato couldn't help but scream in horror. <AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!> He shrieked, hiding himself in a Harden while the Spoink harmlessly splashed around him. "...ok. Ignoring the battle, I think I have some matches. Oh, here they are." Susumu fumbled through his bag and pulled out an old pack of matches, that only had about 7 left. As the pile of firewood was more organized to look somewhat nice and neat, the two Pokemon huddled around it curiously, wondering how the fire would be produced. The with a flick of the wrist, the match ignited. Carefully protecting the small flame with his hand, he led it over to the dead leaves and dropped it, gently blowing on it so it would spread faster. The Spoink cackled as he noticed the Pineco panicking, quite proud of himself. Not realizing that the reason for Yamato's panic was his crazed behavior, and that the other Pokémon was not in pain, the Spoink grinned confidently to himself. <Oh yeah!> he half-sang, as the fire flared up and the pinecone Pokémon hardened his body. <Who's the best? I'm the best! Spoink's the best, yo!> Clearly, somebody had a bit of an ego.
Now, while his opponent was panicking and probably expecting another crazy awesome attack, Spoink would catch him by surprise yet again! <Prepare for this one!> he declared, not realizing that warning your opponent of your attack probably wasn't a very smart idea. <SHOOP DA WHOOP!>
A wave of psychic energy burst from the pearl on Spoink's head, blasting toward Yamato in a purplish blur. This Spoink was probably better to be eaten than to be allowed to run rampant, as there was clearly something wrong with the thing. He was a little... shall we say, affected. Maybe he ate one too many bad berries in his run through life?
