The smaller, chattier of the two was in the middle of an obnoxious cackle when it was hit with the Gust attack. With a surprise squawk, it was blown backward, and tripped head over heels, landing in a muffled heap of wings and feathers. <Mmm mpmh!> the Spearow mumbled, then spat out a mouthful of dirt and righted himself. <Oooh, I'mma getcha fer that one!> it snapped angrily, flailing it's wings around in what it hoped was a threatening manner.
The larger nodded dolefully, turning to glare at the Oddish as it felt it's health being drained. Feeling slightly dizzy from the drain, it was unable to hold the Leer for very long before needing to blink it's eyes shut, but it was a sufficient enough time, and the attack should have been effective. <This one,> he said simply, indicating that his partner in crime should attack the Oddish.
<Don' understand why ya couldn' just do it yerself,> the smaller muttered before launching itself toward the Oddish and attempting to jab it with his beak.

Miranda watched as the Spearow used leer. Desiree jumped back, as if avoiding the look the bird gave her. But she couldn't help but squeal even more when the other bird came zooming in. She was hit, and tumbled back again. "Honey, distract the Spearows wih Sweet Scent, then use Gust in the smaller one! Desiree, use Absorb on the other!" Miranda directed them, reorganizing herself, bag slung on her shoulder, egg in one hand, twirling her damp braid with the other. It wasn't considerably wet, but still damp. Folowing orders, Honey flew closer to the Spearows and used Sweet Scent, hoping to catch their attention. But now she would use Gust, to trick them. Desiree was still traumatized from the previous turn, but said nothing. She just followed orders, using Absorb. ::Combee:: Level: 9 Used Sweet Scent and Gust on the smaller Spearow!

The small spearow chattered angrily when he was hit with the gust, blown away quite easily. He got tangled in a bush, tail over wings, and he was still chirping angrily as he tried to free himself. <Thissus all yer fault!> he accused the trainer angrily, but he could not free himself yet in order to exact his revenge.
<Idiot,> his larger friend said simply, but he was nice enough to help his companion from the bush. He was slightly in pain from what the Absorb had done to him, but he was of a higher level, and so it hadn't affected him as much. However, now both birds were angry at the Combee, and they turned on him with angry glares, though they were not quite leering.
The smaller one flapped forward first, jabbing with his beak, and then the second followed suit.
Small Spearow was hit by Sweet Scent and Gust! Larger Spearow was hit by Sweet Scent and Absorb! Both Spearows used Peck on Combee!

Honey had tried to fly away as quickly as possible after her close-range gust, but she hadn't gone far. The first peck she dodged so closely, she felt the Spearow whizz by. But the next attack, she was hit head-on.
The Combee tumbled to the ground, squealing in pain. When she finally stood up again, she was a little slow.
Miranda could barely watch, but she continued to comand. She clutched her egg in fear for Hun, but she ended up putting it between her legs. "Honey, fly up high and use gust above the smaller Spearow so it can't fly!" Would that work? It made sense to her, at least.
The Combee started to soar above, and then started to flap her wings to the smaller spearow below her. "Ok, Desiree, use Absorb on the bigger Spearow again!" It wasn't doing much, but she had to keep trying, so, Desiree unleashed her vines on it.

♣ Big Spearow: Hit by Absorb (Evasion -1). Not very effective. ♣ Uses Peck on Oddish ♠ Smaller Spearow: Hit by gust. (Evasion -1). ♠ Uses Peck on Combee.
- As the gust came right towards the smaller Spearow, he reflexively let out an 'ow' before he was even hit. It was one of those strange things, imagining the pain before you even felt it. It wasn't bad though, especially because those bug/grass type Pokemon were holding on pretty well, even with the type disadvantage. He growled, flying to the side of the gust attack so he could maneuver his body closer to his opponent.
- Small and strong, he was ready to take this bug down. It could only take so many super effective hits, and this bird was determined not the be the first one to go down. He hissed as his beak started to glow, ready to peck the crap out of his prey. The fierce look in his eyes was simply truculent and without mercy.
- < Gosh n' tardin darn. What 'r ya doin' with them vines, girlie?> The Spearow hissed, annoyed that he couldn't dodge the Absorb attack. Each moment it was on him, more health was sapped away. However, his body seemed to have a natural resistance to the attack, making it hardly phase him. The larger Spearow snapped at the vines with his beak, cutting off the rest of the move. Well, that was awful.
- Puffing out his chest, the massive beast of a bird swooped down at the Oddish. His Peck attack was more than ready to do some damage. Against any other Pokemon though, he might not have had this battle so easy.

Desiree could only be hit so many times. The peck sent her down to the ground again, and the plant stayed there. Miranda let out a gasp, returning it to her pokeball, which Miranda noticed had sparks. "Why you little..."Miranda watched as Honey fell, angered. The bee righted herself, a lot slower now. She launched into gust without further instruction, though. She knew that it would probably be her last move if something wasn't done soon. To replace Desiree, Miranda released Alexander. The Duskull made no sound, moving to follow Miranda's whisper, "Use Astonish." She looked at her egg briefly before smiling. She would hopefully make this turn around.

The Smaller Spearow was thrown backwards into the larger one. Both got up and scattered from each other. The smaller one getting hit by the Gust snarled. <Is that all?!> He taunted.
The larger one was hit by the Astonish. Though it didn't to much the look on that face scared the crap out of him. He flinched, unable to move he was stuck in fear.
The smaller one used Leer on the Duskull then he flew in for a Peck attack.
Smaller one: hit by Gust, used Leer and Peck on Duskull! Larger one: Hit by Astonish, flinched!

Miranda couldn't say she was satisfied, and she couldn't say that she was angry either. Alexander had just arrived to fight, and the Spearows/Honey had been fighting for a ittle while, so she found herself smiling anyway. She stroked the pokemon egg in her hands absent-mindedly, considering her choices for the next move. Honey wasn't attacked at all, so the little bee buzzed happily, waiting to see what Alexander would do. Alexander, on the other hand, was hit. He flew backwards, silent. But he got right back up again, not ready to give up. "Honey, use Sweet Scent and then Gust! Alex, use Night Shade!" And they did. Honey first used Sweet Scent to distract the smaller Spearow, then prepared to use Gust once the bird was distracted. Alexander, though, reached his shadow towards the bigger bird, eager to finish up. ::Combee:: Level 9 Used Gust on the Smaller Spearow!

♣ Big Spearow: Hit by Night Shade. Not effective. (Evasion -2). ♣ Uses Peck on Combee. ♠ Smaller Spearow: Hit by Gust. (Evasion -2). ♠ Weakening. ♠ Uses Peck on Alexander
<Bird goin' down! Bird goin' down!> The large Spearow shrieked in torment as the defense shattering Night Shade. His body however, seemed to react in a way different than expected. From what it appeared, the transparent attack went right through him, without harming his feathered body. It was almost as if he was immune to it. Staring in confusion at the ghost, while the other was looking at his friend as if he was insane, the pair of birds shrugged it off. The Sweet Scent was as tantalizing as ever, and the pair found themselves absorbed in the wonderful imagery it created. Such flowery scents were so gorgeous, even if they didn't actually have a sense of smell. It was enough of a distraction to allow the small Spearow to get blown away by the Gust attack. <O-ouch!> The little one yelped, suddenly annoyed as his feathers became ruffled up. His stern eyes went right for the Duskull, thinking that he was the weaker of the two. Without a sense of regret, he went in for a Peck on the Duskull while the large Spearow aimed his beak at the Combee.

Miranda watched as the attack from Alexander did no harm. How was she so stupid? Ugh. Well, no use crying over spilled milk. Alexander would have to go back. This wasn't good. Returning the ghost after the attack from the Spearow hit, Miranda tossed out Razzor's Pokéball. Lashing out orders, Miranda was ready to be finished with the rude birds. "Honey, use Gust on the larger Spearow! Razzor, use Ice Punch!"The Combee used the attack, hoping to see it hit. Razzor charged in, its paw cold and frosty. Used Gust on the Smaller Spearow!

OOC: I'll assume you meant the smaller Spearow. And that was that for the smaller Spearow. Although he managed to dodge the Gust directed at him by the resilient Combee, he was quickly knocked to the ground by the Ice Punch, feeling listless for his aggression while his larger companion left him unconscious in the dust. Unfortunately, the larger Spearow's violent temperament had only been whetted by watching his comrade go down, and he decided to risk his health by going lower to the ground to attack the Combee. His form almost seemed to become a blur as he zoomed in for a rapid peck,, wings buzzing at an alarmingly fast rate as he used his type advantage against the wind generating little bee. ::spearow:: Smaller Spearow has fainted. Alexander, Honey, Desiree and Razzor each gain half of a level.
::spearow:: Larger Spearow uses Peck on Honey. [/B]

Miranda clenched the egg that she ha in her hands, wishing she could jump in and help her pokemon. But she couldn't. Honey went soaring towards the ground, close to fainting. Sighing, she let out her orders. "Hun, try and use Gust! Razzor, use Auick Attack!"Razzor rushed in, mostly a blur. Honey, on the other hand, was slower, though her wings still flapped. ::Combee:: Used Gust

The Larger Spearow flapped on, trying to keep track of its enemies, and to negate the growing rage at his friend's falling. He saw the Weavile coming at him, and that was what he was focused on. As it rushed in like lightning, Spearow was focused totally on it, and moved to dodge the quick attack. It still sent him spiraling into the ground, as he hadn't moved quick enough. Into the ground and safely away from Honey's gust attack; luckily. It got back up on its feet and charged towards the Weavile with a leer upon its face. He tended to fight with the persistence of a knight defending hallow ground. Because if he fell, his friend would be at their mercy. It charged in for a peck at the Weavile. ::Spearow:: Spearow hit by Quick Attack. Used Peck.
