Nevoa's hands shook in front of her to try to show she didn't mean any harm or insult to the pokemon. "No no no, it's not that. You just sneaked up on me that's all. I wasn't expecting anyone."
Hopefully the Clefairy would take it. At the reply of the pokemon thought her face drew blank. "My... Guitar?" Moving the instrument off her back and in front of her she looked down at it. Sure enough the string was fixed. Nevoa stood shocked for a long moment before her face broke out into a huge grin. Her brown eyes lifted to the pink pokemon as they started to water. "This means so much to me! Thank you. How can a repay you? How can I repay the spirits?" Nev wasn't sure who these spirits were but they had her pretty happy that's for sure. For good measure she plucked the smallest string, and heard the note. She'd have to re tune it, it being just a bit too sharp, but for the short run no one would notice unless you had sharp musical ears like her own. A soft laugh escaped her mouth. Who would have thought something like this would have happened? ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

Clefairy nodded in response to Nevoa's explanation, knowing very well that the world as it was now was full of dangers. She watched as Nevoa reacted to the wonderful miracle and in response to her smile the pink pokemon smiled herself. <You've already repayed them with your happiness!> Said Clefairy, doing a happy dance.
<Well, if you have no more need of me, I shall go now,> Said the satisfied little pokemon, as she began to twirl away.

Nevoa watched the Clefairy twirl away. While she was tempted to try to convince it to join her she shook her head. No, others deserve that happiness that it and the 'spirits' can give too. There are other pokemon that I can catch, not getting that one won't make the world end. She nodded to herself as she sat down in the middle of the dirt path. She plucked the smallest string a few times, after each set of three she'd adjust a nob at the top of the neck.
Once she felt the guitar was in tune to her liking she slide her hand down all the strings, listening to them ring into the open air. A childish laugh escaped her mouth as she stood back up. "Welcome back..."
She whispered to herself as the wind picked up slightly, lifting her brown hair off her shoulders and into the air lightly. The night air was a bit cool for summer but it was approaching to autumn so Nevoa didn't dwell on it much. Instead she let her converse enclosed feet walk her down the path as her hands strummed the guitar once more. A wordless tune filling the night air. ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

A Weedle was worming his way back to his home in a nearby tree when suddenly he looked up and saw a pair of gargantuan legs walking over. Not only that, a loud, squeaking noise also filled the poor little bug's ears, and he curled up unable to plug his ears to rid himself of the huge noise.
<H-hey you!! Why'd you attack me like that?> Shrieked the little worm, thinking that the tall thing was a pokemon using Uproar. <I can defend myself, you know~!> Then, wriggling towards the human, the weedle unleashed a sticky white matter from his mouth towards Nevoa's ankle.

Nevoa didn't notice or hear the Weedle, least that was until she couldn't move her legs anymore and started falling forward. Her eyes widened and she only just managed to move herself to land on her back to save her guitar... again.
"What the...?"
Turning her head she spotted the Weedle. "Um... Hello?" She blinked in confusion at the wild Pokémon. Why did it attack her? Pushing herself to sit on her butt, her guitar laying on the ground beside her. Should she get a Pokémon out? Or should she try to talk herself out of this? Hmm... Well if more Pokémon were going to attack her for no reason then she might as well get out a Pokémon right?.... Now just where were her pokeballs... Not on her belt... Not in her pockets... Her bag... Dang. How was she suppose to get a Pokémon out of her bag without the Weedle knowing? This was a stupid situation. And sticky... ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

The Weedle scoffed as Nevoa ignored his threat. <Hello to you, too, missy! But you almost killed me back there, so I'm not gonna play nice alrightt?> He said, and if he had fingers to snap in a Z-formation he would have done just that.
<Now hold still hun,> Hissed the bug, inching over to Nevoa and readying his stingers to inject toxins into her bloodstream. Such pokemon poison was highly hazardous to humans, so if Nevoa didn't act soon she might not be able to act later...

Nevoa nearly screamed she realized that the Weedle was mentally insane and was going to attack her. 'Not good, nooooot good.' She screamed in her head as instinct kicked it. With her guitar off her back she had more freedom in her movements so she took the opportunity to roll away from the Pokémon and push herself to her knees. As she rolled she wiggled off her back pack, grabbing the strap and dragging it with her to her little patch of safety at the moment.
Throwing it open her hands searched furiously inside for a Pokémon to save her. Finding something round, she picked it up and threw it.... Only it was empty. Fhl. Nev immediately went back to the bag and grasped another round object, she could only hope it was actually used. Throwing it, the night air was engulfed by a red light as a Pokémon was seen stretching in the middle of it.
"Grave! Am I glad to see you! No time to talk okay, I need you to do something for me. See that crazy Weedle? It tried to poison me so go ram it or beat it or something okay? Pwease?"
She begged as she picked up a sharp looking rock and started to try and cut the string shot. Grave glanced over at the bug type and was hesitant at first before he noticed the string shot on his trainer's ankles. Sending a glare to the bug, he charged at it, head low, attempting to use Iron Head. Owwie. ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

Weedle had still been approaching the trainer when she backed up, death stare right at the evil girl that had almost stepped on him. This was for all those poor worms that had been smushed into the ground without a care. this is sparta!!
However, his plan was partly ruined when the girl threw out one of her own pokemon - a strange bone helmet thing. And now it was advancing straight at her, brandishing his bony head. Crap. The weedle attempted to wriggle out of the pokemon's path, but was far too slow - he ended up being flung away by the rushing attack and smacking into a tree, which did a considerable amount of damage to his body. The worm slipped off of the tree, then wiggled toward Cubone, panting, and shot poisonous barbs at the brown bone-waving pokemon.

Nevoa just barely looked up in time to see the Weedle slam into the tree. A grin appeared on her face and she went back to work. "Good job Grave!"
She called out. Looking back down at the string wrapping around her ankles she could just barely see it starting to split but it wasn't going very fast. Instead she changed methods, instead of hammering she decided to make a n emo action cutting action. Grave nodded at Nev encouragement but didn't look back, he had a battle to focus on. He watched with his dark brown eyes through his skull helmet, watching closely the actions the Weedle would make. It was then he noticed it shoot something, but even with his eyes he couldn't quite make out the small barbs. Instead, he dropped his skull helmet to block most his body from the hit. A few of the poisonous barbs grazed his skin but none of them did much damage due to his super awesome resistance. Seeing how Nevoa was paying no attention to the battle, the Cubone took matters into his own hands.... paws? Letting out a growl, almost like a battle cry, once more he charged at the worm pokemon. Head down, skull at the ready for another Iron Head attack. ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

Weedle hissed when he saw that most of his poisonous barbs had been deflected off of the bone pokemon's helmet. Watching the Cubone carefully, the worm awaited his counterattack. He narrowed his beady eyes at the growl attack, readying himself for a physical counter attack, then began to squirm out of the way as the Cubone began to charge once more. This time he avoided some of the attack, but the bottom half of his little body was impacted, making his body pivot until he was facing the rampaging ground pokemon.
Taking this chance, the Weedle rushed at the skull-wearing pokemon's backside and aimed more poisonous stings at it. The fact that the only part of the cubone that was protected was his head was a blessing now - if the attack hit, of course.

Cubone felt his skull scrap some of the Weedle but growled in frustration to himself. He was hoping to end this sooner. Seems this would take longer then he thought. Lifting his head he could of swore he heard a whistling sound. Puzzled, he started to turn to investigate only for the noise to stop and a short gasp from his mouth to replace it.
Looking down through the skull's eye holes he spotted the poison barbs, barely sticking out of his flesh. A few hadn't managed to piece it and laid on the ground useless.
Using his free hand, he swiped them away before glaring at the worm Pokemon. They weren't deep enough to poison him but he was still agitated. Flicking his tail for a tail whip and a bit of a distraction. He began walking towards the Weedle slowly, he would bide his time for now, wait for his opponent to make the first move and hopefully give him an advantage the next go round.
Meanwhile however, Nevoa called out the occasional "good job" or "nice shot" though she paid no real attention to the battle. Her mind was racing and her current thought was the the string shot was growing and eating her ankles now. Her almost hysteria state was doing nothing for her to steady her hand. She could already see the bruises forming from where her jumpy hand had slammed the rock into her legs.

{{ooc/ LOL eating her ankles >:u rrrr nomnomnom }}
The little grub saw his poison stingers enter into the bone-wearing creature's bottom and gave a squeaking laugh. <Y'all looked so cute with that angry face on!> Sniggered the worm.
Weedle scoffed at the use of Tail Whip against him. Why, she wasn't interested in the guy's tail at all! Ignoring the distraction, the insect wriggled up to the Cubone and attempted to shoot yet another round of poisonous barbs into him.

Grave said nothing to the mention of his face but instead rolled his eyes. Focusing on the battle with his silent atmosphere he continued to step forward, slowly closing the gap between the two. When he noticed the worm coming to him he inwardly grinned. 'Good, he thought as he watched with detective sharp eyes at the movements of his opponent. There!
The Cubone dropped his head and charged right when the Weedle fired the barbs once more. He hoped that with it just attacking it wasn't prepared for another Iron Head attack.
Nevoa on the other hand was having no luck at all with the binding. A whimper would escape her mouth every now and then as she sliced away, all the while muttering things under her breath. "It's growing. I know it is.... I can't feel my foot. Oh gosh! It may of eaten my ankle. Nonononono" She took no notice of the red light behind her as her Charmander, Dissonance, appeared. He muttered a hopeless as he walked over, glancing over his trainer's bindings. Bending over, he let lose a small ember on the string, careful not to get Nev's shoes or pants. As the bindings came off, Nevoa couldn't help but grab Dissonance into a grappling hug. "You saved me!" Oh brother... ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

Weedle was already too close to the Cubone, but quick thinking saved him as he scrambled to the side and was only hit on half of his body. He was still tossed through the air, but the landing was softer as he didn't fly as far as before. Turning back, he wiggled back towards the bone-wearing pokemon and launched yet another bunch of stingers at his back.

Nevoa let go of the Charmander with a grin. With a whispered thanks, she pulled out his pokeball and returned him. Her brown eyes looked over to the battle Grave was in. "Alright, sorry about that boy."
She chuckled, scratching the back of her head in a guilty way. Grave on the other hand paid no mind to her apology. She could just give him extra food tomorrow for breakfast. Instead he focused fully on the bug before him. And it was a bug in more ways then one. Nevoa shouted out a command into the night air, determination now written on her face. "Grave, use growl and iron head." That little worm was sooooo gonna get it now. Grave, following orders, issued a low growl and charged straight at the bug pokemon, taking the poison sting straight on. As he ran, he head dropped again, the hardness of the skull ready to plow through his opponent once more. ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

The growl somewhat unnerved the bug Pokemon, succeeding in lowering his attack. The battle was starting to get repetitive, but the Weedle wasn't about to give up. Thankfully, he managed to dodge this attack, seeing as he had been expecting it this time around. The downside, however, was that Grave was likely expecting his Poison Stings by now, as well.
So, instead of shooting more of the poisonous barbs toward his opponent, he took aim and fired more of the sticky substance which he'd trapped Grave's trainer with toward the rock-headed foe. With any luck, it would slow the other Pokemon enough so that he'd be able to get a better hit with his stings next time. The trainer's Pokemon seemed to be quite good at resisting the poison, which certainly wasn't helping the small bug's case.

Nevoa frowned as the bug moved out of the way of the attack but quickly shook it off. She needed to stay confident and thinking about the negatives weren't going to help any, if at all. Instead, she decided to switch things up but before she could issue another command something she wasn't expecting happened. The Weedle changed tactics too. "Grave! Watch out!"
Too late. Grave didn't get enough action time as he spun around after his failed charge. As the Cubone saw the string shot coming, he was however able to stick his bone out in front of him in a defensive stance, at least stopping some of the sticky substance from getting in his eyes or completely immobilizing him. A command was called from his trainer, though it was a little fuzzy in his partially clogged ears. "Use Iron Head but change it up, don't run straight at it, the thing is expecting that now, mix it up. Jump or something." Very descriptive and helpful. Thanks Nevoa, thanks. Growling to itself, Grave charged at the Weedle but before hitting, pushed his bone into the ground and using it to volt himself into the air. Turning in the air, he positioned his head to crash into the bug's back. If the pokemon moved this wouldn't be a very pretty landing... ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

Weedle readied himself to dodge this next attack, thinking it was going to be just a run-of-the-mill Iron Head, but didn't realize that the Cubone was changing tactics slightly.
He'd began to turn to the side in order to squiggle away from the Cubone's path, but did not see the skull-wearing pokemon pounce toward him. Suddenly he felt the impact of the brown pokemon against his squishy yellow flesh and he squeaked with pain. He slid a ways away from the cubone due to the impact, but regained his footing and, despite grave injuries, wriggled at the dino once more to fire his toxic barbs at him.

Nevoa smiled as she saw the nasty impact and mentally made a note to praise Grave on his jump. Maybe there should be a Pokemon Olympics? Grave could enter the pole volt competition. However what happened after this oh so amazing stunt made her frown. What was he doing?
The impact into the Weedle's body only gave a little cushion from slamming into the ground... With his skull. Granted the skull was fine and intact and all the good stuff... At least his mother's skull was. Grave's skull on the other hand wasn't tight with the 'helmet' so when the skull stopped moving, his body hadn't gotten that far. His head slammed to the roof of the skull on the inside, giving him a biggest headache and head pain he had ever experienced. Not so much a smart idea.
The Cubone didn't move out of the way when the poisonous barbs were shot at him. Instead he sat there, on the ground, holding his head with his hand. His bone laying at his side for easy access should the Weedle try to get close, though he doubted. On the bright side he isn't poisoned....
Grave does nothing

/// Weedle grinned mischievously when he saw that the Cubone had retained a little pain from his attack. It was a good chance for him to get another hit in - perhaps, just perhaps, he could emerge the victor in the battle. These optimistic thoughts swirled in the little worm's mind as he scrambled up to the bone-wearing Pokémon.
Thrusting his head upward in order to get a better aim at the boned foe, the insect unleashed a flurry of toxic pins at him.
