Still investigating the object, Tyron soon found himself hearing a girl. "Hello?" She said. His large skull-helm still cloaking his face, it almost looked like the skull was his face instead! Twisting his direction towards the girl as the large voids of the skull looked at the girl, Tyron snorted quietly. Oh right, this wasn't his pokeball anyways. With that, Tyron stood up with his lean legs as his skull still faced the girl. She appeared very young compared to the eighteen year old. "Sorry." He apologized quickly for his actions before throwing the captured pokemon to the girl.
Wait, why was she carrying a pokedex? It's not like she assumed he was some odd pokemon himself right? Under the skull, he raised a brow - what an odd girl. "Do pokemon like being kept in their pokeballs?" Tyron inquired the girl, assuming she knew more about pokemon than him. He was some-what of a pokemon himself right? A morph, one who has been integrated with pokemon DNA itself.
Meanwhile, the Grimer continued glaring at the girl, shooting daggers as if it was prepared to kill her.

Crystal was quite confused with her Pokedex and how it couldn't identify the 'Pokemon' that had taken hold of her pokeball, infact, she thought it was broken. Though she no longer looked at the Pokedex, no not when Tyron decided to stand up. His height alone, for a Pokemon made her eyes widen, and then he spoke! He apologized, having tossed the pokeball to a now sitting Crystal. She fumbled the Pokedex and the pokeball, essentially dropping both to the grass. "It's..um...it's alright.." She offered softly, clearly in wonder. What?! Pokemon talk? There's one that actually talks?!
"Yes..um.." What an odd question to ask from a Pokemon, Crystal thought as she started to stow her Pokedex, picking up her newest capture in Sentret now. "Well, on television, it's said that..Pokemon like to sometimes make sure that whoever catches them is worthy..after that, they generally don't mind.." She shrugs lightly, placing a forefinger on her bottom lip in thought. "I've never seen a Pokemon like you before, on any of the shows or magazines, would you like to be mine, I'm very nice..though I'm new, I'll take care of you. Promise.." She urged her lips to smile, after all this wasn't an aggressive Pokemon. "See, I just caught our newest friend..a Sentret..but...from today on, I'll call her Koda..since you can talk, I bet you have a name..right?" She beamed a smile, growing excited with the prospect of having such a large and rare Pokemon, though a peek passed him spotted the Grimer, which prompted her to pause. "Oh wow! Another one, I seem to be getting popular with the Pokemon in this route!" Clearly she was excited as she shuffled to her feet, nuzzling her Sentret catch.

He could hear the pokeball and her other accessory falling on to the ground as his sensitive feet could sense the drop. It was rather interesting to see a human react like this, so far all the humans he had interacted responded to him in such a shocked fashion. Perhaps the years of isolation really contributed to this factor. What was he supposed to blend in with these beings? He listened intently to her words, trying to recognize every letter she rolled with her tongue. So Pokémon are supposed to enjoyed this shelter life in a pokeball? Perhaps that's what makes Pokémon and humans different. However, he was surprised to hear her assume that he was a Pokémon! Tyron glanced at his Grimer who looked at him with a confused expression. Well, he wasn't necessarily a pokemon, nor was he really human. "Um..." Tyron was unable to respond to her assumptions of him being a pokemon, since this girl immediately rambled off about her new acquaintance. "I'm Tyron." The Cubone morph spoke after, his tone was a bit reluctant since he didn't really know what was the girl's intentions. The Grimer could only watch the odd antics of the girl. Pft, she's definitely not her rival!

Upon hearing the name, Crystal immediately returned her attentions fully to the massive Pokemon. "Tyron.." She spoke the name as if committing it to memory. Afterward she merely smiled. "Great! I'm Crystal, Crystal Sapphire..it's really nice to meet you." She offered up, dusting her sweatsuit free of grass and dirt that may have marred her outfit. She peered over toward the Grimer for a moment, leaning to the side as she did so, the blades of jet black hair streamed down the side, only to flutter as a gust of cool wind passed through. "Hey there.." She offered with a little wave as she made casual work of offering the pokedex a shot at redemption for lack of identifying Tyron.
This time however she aimed it at the Grimer curiously, listening to the robotic voice in brief, as if to take clear points of it's revelations. "Interesting pare you two make.." She chuckles softly, "I was on my way to the next town, but both of my Pokemon are very tired..if you two are with me, I'll be able to get through the forest. I bet no Pokemon mess with someone as big as you." She said as she stepped forth, so curious now as she came up on her toes to peek at the skull, feeling it's smooth surfaces and jagged edges. "Tyron suits you.." She shrugged lightly, "Um..I don't know if you'd rather be in a Pokeball though, it would be weird right? I mean, you can talk..it'd be better to walk with someone that could speak to me..oh and then you can meet Tummy and Koda, they're really sweet.."

In a way, Tyron was like a boy who's going to kindergarten the first time, apprehensive and precarious. Hearing Crystal repeat his name made his heart tingle, not in admiration, but feeling pleased to be recognized. "Nice to meet you too." All he had to do is repeat what humans say right? When Crystal greeted the Grimer, the Grimer hissed like a cat as it started to sluggishly make it's way behind Tyron. The mucky Pokémon wrapped it's body around the boy's boots as it glared at the girl. Who was this girl? Assuming her master was a Pokémon? Crazy woman! As the girl approached him, Tyron couldn't help but feel uneasy with the close presence. His only memories of working with humans were back at the prison-like labs and the tenderness of his mother, which one would Crystal fit in? Her fingers trailed onto his skull as Tyron observed her face more clearly. Interesting how the girl wasn't aware that the skull was a mere accessory for security. "I can walk." Tyron replied in a blunt manner. It's not like he really had anything else to say, the Cubone morph was naturally a quiet worker. The meeting between Tyron and Crystal's pokemon would probably be awkward anyways - or so he thought. Perhaps he'll just deal with this false-assumption for the while, he didn't plan on having her tag-along forever. He already had a stupid Grimer who stalks him, having another one would just ruin his life. Tyron found himself looking onwards to the route before muttering, "Where are the wild Pokémon?" Perhaps the fact that he hadn't caught a single Pokémon yet triggered the question. It's not like Crystal would think he was a trainer anyways.

“Not just standing there waiting to jump at you from every corner why you don't do the work, that's for sure!” came a twerpy voice, in the distance. The bushes to the opposite side of which Tyron had been crouched parted, revealing a little kid with pretty plain features, olive cargo pants, a white t-shirt, and scars all over his legs. A bug catching net hung over his shoulder, and he looked at the duo here unimpressed. The net and pole were dropped upon the ground, and the kid pushed his wide brimmed hat off his head, looking at the girl and then the boy. The girl seemed familiar, but he wasn't sure from where. The guy? Who wears a skull on his head? Was he a psychopath...? “But I am waiting here to pounce on you from the bushes!” boy was he clever, and he broadcasted it to the world with a grin. “My name is Alan, and contrary to what that punk Evan might say, I'm the best Bug Catcher on this route, maybe in all of Cheyenne!” He nodded happily. “And I want to battle you, both! I have a Silcoon to give as a prize if either of you win, too. It's still not evolved and I've trained it really hard and taken care of it really well...” He blinked, it wasn't his fault, it was a defective Pokémon! He steeled himself and blinked at those trainers, he wanted this battle so he needed to throw his Pokémon forward! With a quick grab to the duo of Pokeballs at his belt, he called out. “Dusty, Sarah, goo!” throwing the Pokeballs as he did. Called into battle.Called into Battle.

At first Crystal seemed to about to explain the idea about how wild Pokémon might not just show up, that hunting them would be a much easier way to go about it and that running into them like Koda had with her would be a much easier way to go about it, but that was when the sound of leaves rustling and the boasting bug catcher came into view. Good thing that Crystal had her Pokedex close at hand, because when he proposed a battle, Crystal grew worried. She flipped through the entries in her Pokedex, trying to take stock of what she could do. Tummy had been so tired and scratched up since fighting Koda, she almost felt bad to call him out. "Well, fine, I have two Pokémon here anyway..!" Her attempt to sound assertive was laughable, cute even when once considered how hard she tried. Reaching behind her, Crystal pulled free a Pokeball, closing her eyes in brief before calling her Pokémon free. "Go Tummy, show them our strength! Pain Split!" She three the pokeball forth, as the white light spilled forth a battered Gulpin, whom moved sluggishly but to his task. <So tired, but..her I go!> To Tyron, she merely looked at him, confused, Because the Pokedex hadn't detailed anything for him. "Um, attack?" She was utterly at a loss, but maybe she'd be able to pull something off. ::Gulpin::

The voice of an immature boy sounded from the distance where Crystal seem to take notice first-hand. Tyron shifted his eyes towards the side as to where he initially appeared from. Well, this so-called "Alan" was certainly 10 times smarter than his acquaintance as he could tell that he wasn't some sort of pokemon. Tyron simply stayed silent and allowed Crystal to do all the talking, she certainly seem confident, at least compared to the inexperienced Tyron. "Um, attack?" Tyron heard her say as a sneaky smirk appeared from his lips. Was this girl that dumb? Could she not see that he was obviously not a pokemon? He raised his head up, peering from before the skull at the girl, "I don't have any." He adjusted his skull and looked at the pair curiously. So he has to join in right? The kid did mention involving him into the battle. "Grimer, use your Poison Gas." Tyron stated coolly as the mucky pokemon responded with burping out a nasty gas that shrouded the area.

[OOC; Please keep in mind, Aita, that the site is using moves in their Generation IV format until Generation V comes out internationally. That said, in your next turn remember to make Tyron have Grimer target a specific enemy, or target them yourself. <3 Mika, same said for you. Please choose which of the Pokémon you plan to target with Gulpin, though on this turn because neither of you did, I'm going to choose which move targetted which Pokémon. :] ]]The Beautifly had begun fluttering around happily, almost seeming to grin sweetly at her opponents and their trainers, when the rather battered Gulpin used that dastardly move, it's body glowing for a moment, and then Beautifly's body swallowed into the same bright light, making the perfectly healthy Beautifly feel very worn out, and like she had scratches upon her from a harsh battle. Indeed, Gulpin had used a moves which the books said would take the average of its and its target's healths and split those between the two of them. The mere sight of such a thing brought a feeling of sadness into Alan's chest, and the pulling feel of guilt at the bottom of his stomach. Sarah was hurt this early? It was unacceptable, and his fault because he hadn't bothered to think of moves that Pokemon might have! It made the little kid breathed heavily as Dusty [his Dustox] was hit by the poison gas sent forth from that Grimer, but as the moth like Bug Pokémon was part poison type, it simply fluttered through it, yellow eyes looking at the purple blob evilly. Alan let out a sigh of relief at his Dustox's survival, and then nodded happily. He could still win this, both of those Pokémon were poison types! “Dustox! Use confusion on the green potatoe sack! Sarah, take his flank and use absorb on the Grimer!” Hit by Poison Gas. Not affected, Used Confusion on Gulpin.Hit by Pain Split. Hurt! Used Absorb on Grimer.

Crystal was nervous it was easy to tell, she didn't know the nuances that went into 2 vs 2 battles. Everything she knew about Pokemon was almost so elementary and basic it would make the elitist trainer's head hurt. Her hands shook as she watched the battle curiously, the Pokedex in her hand which she aimed at the now, surprisingly injured Beautifly explained the move (Pain Split) that had been used and took the victim Pokemon down for reference. The smell from Grimer's attack was putrid, it made Crystal's knows wrinkle even as she took a step back, trying to stay alert for the tide changing event that was taking place. For a moment, she just stared at Tyron, still trying to wrap her mind around the idea of a Pokemon training another Pokemon. Maybe he was a pokemon gang member and Grimer was part of his posse? 'Confusion' came from Dustox aimed clearly for Tummy, where as Beautifly diverted, aiming it's attacks on the Grimer. <Now I feel better, lets go!> The invigorated Gulpin called out as his health seemed to show on his brightening green flesh. She continued to get info from her Pokedex on the enemy Pokemon, this time Dustox who had used a confusion move to hinder Tummy, but the little Pokemon fought through it. "Umm.." Crystal didn't know what to use next as Tummy maneuvered, trying not to get to far away from Grimer. "What's this..yawn?" The Pokedex must've been faulty, Yawn couldn't have been an attack, but what did she have to lose? "Alright..um, Tummy..Yawn Attack...stop that Dustox!" She tried to sound determined, but the coordination of this enemy pair was unquestionable. ((Used a scale from 1-10 on confusion and had Draffle pick a number to see if it effected Gulpin. Effect percentage is 10% on that move. Hope that's cool. My number was 5, Draffle's was 7.)) ::Gulpin::
Tummy is using Yawn on Dustox.

He watched his useless Grimer use Poison Gas on the Dustox as it seems as though there was absolutely no effect on the moth. A sweat drop trailed down his cheeks as he comically stared at his cheerful Grimer, well the situation seems to be turning tables on his end. Watching the trainer next to him use her pokemon, Tummy, in a skillful way, he helplessly stared with envy. The Beautifly's Absorb was caught off guard by Tyron as he finally noticed the butterfly sucking in some of his pokemon's life. Did he really suck at this? Maybe the fact that he was new could cover it up! "Grimer! Use Poison Gas then Pound on the Beautifly!" The Grimer who's health was leeched started approaching the Beautifly with the same blank stare. With her mouth parted, a Poison Gas escaped from her lips as this time, the Grimer released the gas longer. As she got close enough to the opponent, the gooey Pokémon flung itself towards the fluttering butterfly to deliver a Pound.

These two trainers were smarter than they seemed! For a moment, as the two novices fought with more intelligence, Alan couldn't help but grin stupidly at it. As his Beautifly flew in for an absorb, he saw it work, and saw the marowak cosplayer use a combination which could be deadly if it hit. But luckily Sarah was quicker than that, and the little Grimer's poison gas and accompanying pound were dodged by a few flaps of her beautiful wings sending her once again skyward. Alan gave a thumbs up to his Butterfly Pokemon, only to notice the highly tactical- and totally unexpected move, from the Gulpin. A Yawn, that wasn't good, not at all! As Dustox floated away, it seemed to get a bit tired already from it. The bug catcher nodded, he had to use this turn as tactically effectively as he could. “Sarah, use Stringshot and Absorb on that stomach pokemon, and Dusty, you use Confusion on him..! We'll deal with that Oooze in a moment!” ::Beautifly:: Dodged Poison Gas and Pound. Used Absorb on Tummy the Gulpin.
::Dustox:: Hit by Yawn, used Confusion on Tummy the Gulpin.

Crystal was taken aback with the attacks that the bug catcher had put together, for Tummy had been hit by two different angles with perfect timing, though not after a very unlikely 'Yawn' attack that was liable to run it's course soon enough. However Tummy the Gulpin was in bad shape after getting hit with a drain attack and confusion for good measure. Gulpin seemed to be in a daze as he wobbled on his stubby feet. <Wha..?...what's goin..> Gulpin tripped, tipping over, he'd likely be useless for a bit, however Crystal yelled her encouragement loudly. "Come on Tummy! Pull it together.." She called out, hoping he'd tough out the effects, though even as he stood back up to his diminutive height, it still looked like he was completely out of it. ::Gulpin:: Tummy is Confused.

As Tyron watched the Gulpin get pretty much beaten up by the other two, he felt a sudden uneasiness: his Grimer really sucks, and it can't really battle well with these two flying pokemon. Annoyance struck him as he looked at the clueless Grimer, this time he better help Crystal. "Grimer! Use Pound then Poison Gas on the Beautifly!" To take advantage of the distraction of the Beautifly, the Grimer approached the Beautifly quickly and flung an arm at the Beautifly, throwing her palm towards the pokemon. Regardless if it hit the butterfly pokemon or not, the Grimer released another Poison Gas, this time at a closer contact which would probably be a better way to get it's opponent poisoned.

Bug Catcher AlanBeautifly Gulpin's Ability Liquid Ooze Activates. Sarah is hurt.PoisonedUses String Shot and Poison Sting on Grimer Dustox Asleep
"What is this, hey, this wasn't what I planned!" Alan exclaimed as the Poison Gas surrounded Sarah after her successful Absorb on the Gulpin. But something was wrong, as it appeared she was being more than just affected by the gas. She was being...hurt? From what?! He wished he knew, but it appeared that sucking on that dirty Gulpin was making her sick!
Then Dusty simply fell on the ground, completely knocked out. He was his main fighter, the confident one of his pair of awesome bugs. He was down, maybe not out, but with the way his wings acted as a blanket on his body, he didn't look as if he was going to wake up anytime soon. Why now, why this?
"You're all playing dirty! I'm not giving cheaters anything!" He raged, stomping his feet in distress. He had to make Sarah do something useful, but she looked sick and in pain. Weak. Not cool. What a girl. "Come on Sarah, String Shot and Poison Sting those things." He glared, staring hard at the fluttering Beautifly.
<I...don't know if I can.> She whimpered sadly, feeling a sting of guilt when she said that. Alan was such a child at times, and often forgot how much she cared about him to even appreciate her. Raising her long, curled up mouth piece, she shot out a weak String Shot to try and contain the Grimer's body. She coughed in the middle, instantly cutting off the rest of the string.
"Come on..." Alan urged, completely impatient. The Grimer had to be attacked now. It was such a pest. Sarah weakly nodded her head, distressed at Alan's childish attitude. A weak spray of Poison Stings were shot at the Grimer, most likely not doing much to hurt it.

The battle had quickly turned out for the better, with the absorb clearly offering energy, invigoration and health to the Gulpin. Tummy clearly looked up for furthering the battle. <Now I'm fired up!> He called out as he watched the Dustox nod out in mid battle. The Sarah, The Beautifly was on her last legs and fading fast, one more attack would surely do it and leave the Dustox defenseless to assault. Crystal however watched this all play out with clarity to what would transpire next. "It's over...stand down, Tummy..." Crystal called out to him. <Huh?> Gulpin was confused, he thought his trainer would leap at the chance to pin down the enemy trainer and his pair of bug pokemon. "Don't you see, it's over already...Alan's Dustox is asleep and his Beautifly can't hold out for one more attack..lets call it here.." She then glances over at Alan, "What do you say..I mean, I don't want to hurt your Pokemon anymore, if you want, we can call it a draw..it was a good battle..I mean, I learned a lot.." She tried to ply a friendly smile, shrugging lightly as she crouched down to wave her Tummy to her who complied. "You did great..sorry I had to make you fight again..promise I'll get you rested..maybe once we get out of here, I can find some food.." Tummy hopped excitedly into her arms, food was the source of his jubilation of course.

The Poison Sting that shot out by the weaken Beautifly didn't do much damage to the Grimer since the pokemon was a poison type. Getting extremely pumped up to finally have a wicked showdown, the atmosphere was suddenly ruined by the girl who he partnered temporarily with. "It's over." She said. "W-What?!" Tyron moaned at her with extreme irritation. His eyes shifted back to his Grimer who seem dumbfounded by the girl's conclusion, "Ugh, Grimer stop." The poor morph reluctantly conformed to the decision, "Good job." Tyron complimented his Grimer who simply snuggled his legs again. Trying to hide his irked emotions at the moment, he looked at Crystal with a bland expression, "So?" Damn, they were so close!

Bug Catcher AlanBeautifly PoisonedDustox Asleep ooc note: Liquid Ooze doesn't heal Gulpin
Alan heard what the girl said and instantly got upset upon hearing it, and from the looks of things, the other guy was just as mad. He didn't need Sarah, he could've simply waited until Dusty woke up, and then...Confusion spam! Right? The good guys were always supposed to win, and he was the main character!
"But...but...that isn't fair. A battle is a battle, and I could've won! You aren't even giving me the chance." Alan raged, sending a hostile glare towards Crystal. He wasn't intending to do anything bad to her, but all of that frustration in that young body? He didn't know how to handle it.
<I-I am tired, Alan.> Sarah weakly responded, still willing to fight even as the poison sapped away at her health. She looked like she could pull off a few more attacks, but they wouldn't do any good if both of her opponents were resistant do them. Thought clearly wasn't on Alan's side today.

OOC :Gotcha Spirit BIC: Crystal seemed to place Tummy back down as she watched from the crouched position where she petted the awkward looking pokemon. She had a look of confusion and consideration when she looked at the Bug Catcher. "Well, if you want, we can continue..but it looks like your Pokemon are tired.." She shrugged lightly, it was as if she was offering choice, which she was. She glanced at Tummy for a moment, before continuing. "Well, if that's how you want to do it..then, go, finish off his Pokemon, Tummy, she looks tired..." <Yes, ma'am!> Tummy hopped up some, before moving forth with purpose, looking to end it with a Pound Attack. Tummy uses Pound on Beautifly

So they were still battling or not? Tightening his lips, trying not to interfere, Tyron really just wanted to get with it. It wasn't until the Gulpin exposed itself yet again to deliver a pound at the bug catcher's Beautifly. So they're continuing right? "Grimer! Use Pound at the Dustox!" He should take advantage of the sleeping pokemon, if it awakens - then the Confusion that would be initiated could be severe to both Grimer and the Gulpin. The Grimer approached the fallen Dustox to throw in a good bitchslap! Hopefully the Dustox will continue it's sleep for a while. The Beautifly was pretty much finished. [[ ooc; by the way, just a note: Grimer has the ability Stench, so his opponents have 10% chance of flinching whenever he hits. ]]
