Derek smiled a bit as the strange-looking Diglett finally managed to successfully pull the Rock Smash off. He wouldn't say that the bizarre, muscular Diglett was a master of it quite yet...but he was certainly a natural with Fighting-type moves. And for good reason. He dared not open his mouth and say anything about how much this Diglett looked...so bizarre to him. He was more afraid that the Ground-type would strangle him than his trainer. "No problem, kid. If we ever cross each other again, Keiko won't be losing. See you around." With that, he turned around and led the Steel-type bird away, at the same time as Blitz left. He had come to like that Blitz kid...maybe some day they'd have a rematch. Unlikely, but still. Meanwhile, as Blitz travelled along, a voice called down to him from above. <Hey, you, human!> the masculine voice rang out. If Blitz were to look up, he'd find an Abra standing in the branches. Electric City could be seen just ahead, but the Abra wasn't going to just let him pass. <You want to get into the city, you gotta go through me!> This definitely seemed like one cantankerous little Abra. He didn't seem any kind of pensive in his words and just continued to insist that the human would have to get past him to go anywhere. Too bad he was up in the tree as opposed to down on the ground and thus was not actually in Blitz's path.
<But I should warn you, I'd turn back now and go back where you came from...I'm the toughest Abra around, and I won't be losin' out to some human punk. Now when the Boss is counting on me to keep any new humans from making their way into town.> Boss? What was he, part of some sort of Pokémon mafia group? ::Abra:: Tries to block Blitz from going into town

Blitz was a bit annoyed when he saw the Abra blocking his path and not letting him through at all. First off, he wasn't a big fan of Abras as they were weak with no skill at all. And second, his Pokémon had already been a little beat up so he had no plan at all to fight this Abra. But this Abra wouldn't let him through so he had no other choice. He thought about it and gave the Abra a fight. It said it was the toughest so he wanted to test it out. What he learned from Team Death database is that the Abra on this route only knew one move... Teleport... Maybe this one was different. He tossed down Scylla who had not been beaten up from her previous battle to do this. She was very upset that she wasn't able to eat the Stantler as her trainer had to capture it... But this one would be different. Blitz assured her that. <"Sorry about earlier... I needed that Pokémon for another trainer. But this, you can eat him."> He said to his Ekans who simply looked up to see the Abra. Scylla gave Abra a very mean Leer, and her intimidation activated. Blitz hoped this would mess with the Pokémon a bit and scare it away as he had no motivation to fight it at all. Scylla wasn't stupid either, she wouldn't charge a Pokémon up on a tree. If it didn't come down, they'd just take their leave to Electric City. Used Leer on Abra. Intimidate Activated Super Diglett (13), Tangela (17.5), Wooper (14.5), Ekans (11.5), Skitty (15.5), Delibird (17.5), Elekid (21)

The feisty little guy's defenses fell as the fearsome snake leered at him. He squirmed uncomfortably in his seat up in the tree and physically leaned back, putting a few extra inches between him and the snake. I can't back down! The boss! His boss would be sooo super mad if he backed down and he knew it! He'd need to think quickly, because he really didn't want to battle this snake on his own. There was a soft 'poof' sound and the Abra used teleport to get down on the ground, behind Blitz and the scary Ekans. He tried to grab at Blitz's bag and swipe something from him before either trainer or poke'mon realized what the Abra was trying to do. Regardless of if he actually pick-pocketed anything or not, the Abra quickly teleported again back to his place up in the tree.

The Abra successfully took one of Blitz's spare pokeballs which did not make Blitz happy at all. He angrily looked at the Abra who went back in the tree with the pokemon and he decided it was time for his Ekans to attack it. It was time to risk getting hurt and just simply go for it... <"Scylla. Use Leer again so the Abra gets distracted and then wrap your body around the tree to knock him off. Make it known to him that the tree isn't a safe haven to protect him!"> He said and the Ekans gave the Abra a very nasty look before she wrapped her body around the tree. She was surprised she was able to fit her entire body around it, she must have grown or this tree wasn't the largest. But when she finished wrapping, she started to squeeze and also started to shake a bit, trying to cause enough of a sudden movement to make the Abra fall off and have to teleport to the ground and become an open target. ::Ekans:: Hit by nothing. Used Leer on Abra. Wrapped tree and tried to shake it hard.

As the Abra felt his grip on the cool, smooth texture that was a Pokéball, he had quickly taken the opportunity to snag the item and Teleport into a tree. He grinnd to himself at a job well done...but when he looked back down, he met the Abra's Leering gaze, and he shuddered a bit. For a moment, he seemed very pensive about actually going through with this battle. He had already stolen an item...he could potentially leave and hope that his morose boss would accept that...but this didn't seem very valuable, and he figured that the Boss wouldn't like it much. So, he decided that he had no choice. Though he was very lugubrious about his position. Then, a thought crossed his mind. Maybe this Ekans was only at about a moiety level of power...maybe he was weakened and only fighting at about half-strength? He hoped so...the last thing he wanted was to be a meal for some strange Snake Pokémon. This once- cantankerous Abra was now a bit more tame...but he wouldn't back down. Especially not when the Ekans was starting to shake the tree. It wasn't much, but it was enough to make him lose his balance. So, he decided to respond in the only way he could think of. He Teleported down to the ground beside the Ekans and, the moment, he touched back into reality, tried to reach out and grab the Ekans' tail. If he could do that, his next action would be to try to pull the Snake Pokémon off of the tree and slam him against the ground. ::Abra:: Teleported to the ground Tries to grab Scylla and slam her into the ground

When Scylla felt her tail grabbed, this gave her the best opportunity she could think of make her move now. She was swung hard onto the ground but her tail wrapped around the Abra so that it could not let go too easily. And with that, she attempted to wrap her entire body also around the Abra and make the pokemon suffer for getting down. She also gave the pokemon a nasty look so that it would feel threatened and very intimidated to be in the same environment as her. And she stayed and tried to constrict the life out of the Abra. It was what snakes do, they constrict their foes before they eat them. So she was going to do that too. She was a bit weakened from her previous battle but not badly weakened at all. She could handle herself, and she was going to take advantage of this situation and knock the Abra out. ::Ekans:: (Not yet weakening) Thrown onto Ground. Used Wrap and Leer

The Abra grinned as his he heard the satisfying sound of the Ekans's body hitting the ground hard. But the next thing he knew, he had a tail wrapped around his wrist...and afterwards, had his entire body helplessly constricted by the serpentine body. Well...this was definitely a lugubrious situation he found himself in. He was also met with a glare from the Ekans' eyes that made him hesitate to escape. He simply cried out in pain as he felt the Snake Pokémon constrict around his body...but luckily for him, it would be easy for him to escape. <I...won't...fall victim...to the likes of you!> he called out loud, clearly defying Scylla in a very cantankerous manner. Or, at least, that's what he thought was the case. But he had failed to be aware that his Teleport move would never get him free of this Wrap attack. No, instead, it would Teleport the Snake Pokémon with him, and would do him absolutely no good. However, perhaps he could use this to his advantage.... He focused his mind and tried to Teleport...but what he believed would happen didn't occur. He couldn't even Teleport at all...this was very bad. If he didn't so something, he was a goner for sure! Hit by Leer and Wrap! Constricted by Wrap! Panicking [DEF: -3, ATK: -1]

Scylla was happy when she saw that the helpless Abra was now freaking out as he could no longer teleport thanks to her nice wrap around him. She started to squeeze even harder now to damage the Abra while she opened her mouth and tried to take a bite of the magical Pokémon. "You are definitely my prey now!" She said with a chuckle as she widened her mouth to show how big her mouth can expand. It definitely was big enough to eat the Abra if she pleased. But first she was going to make it faint... Her teeth fell from the top of her mouth and she tried to dig it deep into the neck of the Abra to do some damage to the Abra. "What are you going to do now?!" She laughed. Blitz looked very pleased, Scylla was totally in the advantage here and she was close to finishing this pathetic Pokémon off. He decided she deserved the treat too, he would allow her to eat the Abra once she was done. (Not yet weakening) Hit by nothing. Wrap tightened. Used Bite

::abra:: He was still freaking out from the wrap attack, the Ekans' body. An intolerable pressure was squeezing his body, pushing the breath and life from his very being. He gasped for breath and found that his lungs couldn't expand. He released the grip on the empty poke'ball he was holding and it rolled away from the battle on the ground, back towards Blitz. The psychic type took a few deep breaths and again tried to teleport, trying to take Ekans with him as he teleported to a random spot nearby. As long as he could maintain his focus he tried a couple of fast-paced, random, short range teleports to try and disorient the Ekans and get her to let go of him. Meanwhile, the snake's teeth sunk into his yellow body, drawing up blood and tearing the skin painfully. He wailed in pain. A cry for help.

Scylla was happy as the Abra was completely stuck right now. He could not teleport at all while she was connected to him and this made it too easy for her to eat her prey. He was also crying and freaking out, she knew his time was going to come very soon and she got ready to finish him off. It was a bit annoyed though as it was freaking out so much. She decided to tighten her constriction once more before she gave it another nasty look to put fear back into it's mind. Then he opened her jaws again and tried to take another bite out of the neck. The first one tasted good, now this one should taste even better. Blitz also noticed his pokeball had dropped and he quickly picked it up. <"Serves you to steal my ball. Now you'll die."> He thought to himself. (Not yet weakening) Hit by nothing. Wrap Tightened. Used Leer and Bite. Blitz picked up his pokeball that the Abra stole

A Wild Pokemon Has Appeared !"Please, please stop! I'll-" the abra was cut off as the wrap tightened, pushing the air out of his lungs. Although he had begged for the ekans to stop, he was almost certain that the snake Pokémon would be cantankerous. The abra was begging though, and only a morose person would let a poor defenseless Pokémon suffer like that!....right? His eyes locked onto the ekans' leer, and he shuddered. The ekans' fangs sunk into the abras skin, and he was sure that his body would be two different moieties by the time he was through with him. The abra cried out in pain, and looked at the ekans, then the trainer wit lugubrious eyes, "Please....just please..." He continued to beg, hoping the man would take one pensive moment to spare the psychic Pokémon.

Scylla's animalistic instincts kicked in the minute the Abra began to beg for his life. She knew right here and now that the pokemon was at his weakest state and thus she opened her mouth and attempted to devour the entire pokemon full. Blitz was a bit disgusted seeing his pokemon open her mouth like that to devour the opponent, but he allowed it to happen as he did say it would be her treat. That she would be allowed to eat her first pokemon, and he wasn't going to stop her here... She tightened her strength hold once more to squeeze the last bit of life the Abra had in him before she opened her mouth and just tried to devour the pokemon in it's entirety. She had not been fed since she was captured, so this was as good of a time to feed herself as any. She was a predator, not one who wished and begged her trainer to get food. She was an independent pokemon who could find her own meals... And she was trying to prove that right here with her mouth over the Abra in an attempt to devour the pokemon whole. ::Ekans:: (Not yet weakening) Wrapped tightened again (last time). Tried to devour the pokemon completely

The Abra continued to struggle against his captor's bindings...but alas, it was ultimately to no avail. He looked up at the Ekans' fangs and mouth...and watched in horror as they opened. He knew it. He was done for. He tensed and waited for the deadly blow...but instead of that, he felt a sudden squeeze from the Ekans, and he passed out completely. There seemed to be nothing that could stand in the Ekans' way of having her treat any longer. However, that did not turn out to be the case. The moment Scylla tried to lash out and devour the Abra in his clutches, another pop sound was heard, and a second Abra poofed into existence beside the two. The second Abra brought a fist up and tried to slam it hard into the Ekans' jaw and knock her askew. At the same time, he would place an arm on the fainted Abra's shoulder and try to Teleport the two of them away. Now that the Ekans' Wrapping grip on him was gone, he was free to be Teleported...whether by himself or by this newcomer. If all of this was successful, then the two Abras would now be in another tree. The fainted Abra would be in the arms of the new one. <Like I'm just going to stand around and let you eat my bud!> he would call down...he was determined to get this guy to safety...by any means necessary. He didn't care what the Boss had to say about it. 1: Hurt by Wrap! Fainted! Level up! Scylla: +1 2: Tries to rescue the first Abra via Teleport ((Lol, I just HAD to do it. Seeing how much Scylla is trying to be all independent like that...made me REALLY want to mess up that little plan~))

Blitz was a bit disappointed when Scylla still did not get her first meal of the day. And Scylla was ready to go and chase after the two Abra but he did not want that to happen either. He simply returned Scylla to his pokeball as he noticed that Electric City was within walking distance now. He gander on his way towards the new city although right before he exited route one, he decided to take a look back at his adventure and pause for a moment. Something in him felt weird, something made him stop and stay for just a bit longer... He didn't know what it was, but something in him made it so he could not leave yet. And just then, a mysterious blue Pokémon popped out of one of his pokeball and from it he saw one of the rarest Pokémon ever. He took a look at the Glaceon who smiled when she saw him. "You can not leave yet because your journey is not over." She said and he was amazed by his wisdom. <"I will call you-"> He started but stopped when she quickly interrupted. "Delphos." And he was shocked as she knew before he even said it. <"Delphos... That is your name... Delphos..."> He said as she started to sniff around and play with her own paws. Came out of pokeball to play around Super Diglett (13), Tangela (17.5), Wooper (14.5), Ekans (12.5), Glaceon (10), Skitty (15.5), Delibird (17.5), Elekid (21)

Boing Boing Boing
A little figure with a giant spherical pearl atop his head was bouncing along the road. It seemed that his tail was the leverage he used to spring across the route like some pogo-stick. He had a smug grin on his little piggy face. His paws, every once in a while, rubbed the pearl atop his head like some precious treasure. <I got a pearl! I got a pearl!>the Spoink suddenly chanted aloud in a sing-song voice, hopping about with a cocky attitude. Then his eyes spotted a blue fox-like creature along with a human. Grinning widely at this oppurtunity to brag that he can't miss, the Spoink quickly bounced over. <Hey guys! Do you see this pearl on my head?>he said, pointing to the shiny pink sphere. <I bet you guys don't have one as large and shiny as mine huh?>he said smugly, starting to bounce around them like an annoying, cocky pest. <That's right, be jealous of me!>the Spoink sneered, still continuing to hop around the two.

Delphos got close to the Spoink and told him a little secret. "I see a misfortune in your future very quickly. One where that beautiful pearl of yours might be no more soon." She said before she started to walk away. Blitz looked at the Spoink and wondered how he would react after Delphos made her prophecy. She also did it in such a cool and collected way that he was incredibly impressed with his pokemon. It must have been a prophet in it's former life or something. She then sat down on the floor and started to chase her tail. This was a weird sight for Blitz... How can someone that was as calm and cool as the Glaceon before be this same Glaceon that just played with her tail? It made absolutely no sense... Glaceon then lay down and looked at the Spoink with fascinating eyes, wondering what the little pig was going to do now. ::Glaceon:: Told Spoink a bad prophecy before she went off and played with her tail. What will the Spoink do now?

the Spoink gasped and started to bounce around really fast. Oh nonot the pearl! His glorious pearl! It had to stay on his head! Or else he would stop bouncing! Thats how sad he would become. Not my pearl Not my pearl Not my pearl Not my pearl Not my pearl Not my pearl! He yelled, bouncing around the trainer and the Glaceon.

Delphos felt a little bad for the Spoink so she decided not to mess with it any longer. She nodded to Blitz and Blitz took the sign to mean that it was time to move on and go to the next route. The two of them moved on and went on to Electric City. If the Spoink did or did not lose his pearl... That we would never know. But Delphos did make the prophecy so it probably was true. Blitz looked up, excited to finally move on to the next route. They were in route 1 for a bit too long... Blitz exits
