<Well, my friends and I are trapped in here due to an avalanche> Dark Frost said, sitting on the floor in front of the couch. <Do you think you could try and help us get out please?>

It muttered something in pokespeak, lazily getting up and stretching. It hopped off the couch and looked around.
<What day is it?> it mumbled sleepily.

Dark Frost looked at Chris, who just looked puzzled. <It's Saturday> Dark Frost answered, after receiving the confirmation from Abel (who was just sitting at the fireplace, yawning).

It glared. Saturday! <I'm late! I'm late I'm late> it screeched, running around frantically and slamming into Dark Frost. It shot the Weavile another sharp glare, before skittering off somewhere.

<Hey, what's your problem!?> Dark Frost yelled. <Come back here and help us out!!> "It's no use Dark Frost" Chris sighed. "At this rate, we'll most likely die in here. At least...I'll be back with my parents. I just wished I didn't have to leave Janel, Karen and Jade alone..."

From it's place under the couch, Swinub watched the trainer break down into an unfathomable depression. Or at least it seemed like it, from it's point of view. Already tremendously late for whatever appointment it had made, it decided to press it's luck and creep out from under the couch.
<Nobody's dying> it muttered, taking a few steps closer. <It's too nice of a day to die>

"That's easy for you to say" Chris cried, turning towards the door. "We're buried in this cabin because of an avalanche, we can't get out and Abel is starting to get cold as well."

It snorted. <well the way I see it, you have two choices. You can either sit here and cry about it, or you can take action. It's your choice. Now if you'll EXCUSE me I'm late for a meeting with my father.>
With that, it jumped over to the window. Using it's snout, it pried it open and began to tunnel through the snow.

"Well, that works" Chris laughed, asking Dark Frost to claw a bigger hole through the snow. As he did his job, Chris and the others squeezed through the window and back outside. "Ah, freedom!"

The swinub gazed back at Chris, snorting angrily. What was that kid following him for? Annoyed, it sent a mini-blizzard backwards. That'd show him.

"Hey, watch it" Chris yelled, watching his Gallade take the blow. Even though it didn't really matter, as Chris was soon on his knees, teeth chattering from the incredibly cold feeling he had. Looking up, the reason why became obvious. Psyblade had been frozen! Which meant...soon he would be as well!

Uncaring, the swinub seemed indignant. With another loud snort, it continued on it's way, hoping to catch it's father before he left for good.

The now totally furious Abel tried to go after the Swinub, but Dark Frost grabbed him by the tail. <No, we need to help Chris> he stated. <He's the only thing that matters now. You have to thaw Psyblade out. I think that if we unfreeze him, Chris won't freeze himself.> Giving a nod of agreement, Abel attacked the ice with Ember. However, it didn't work that time around.

hearing the noise behind him, Swinub whirled around and fire another blizzard at the pokemon and trainer. It chuckled - what a bunch of morons!

This time, the group managed to dodge the attack. Arcane was now even angrier than before, so he attacked with Earth Power while the other two set about freeing Psyblade.

Swinub flipped onto it's back, struggling to get up. In it's haste, it bumped it's head against one of the many rocks embedded in the snow.
Swinub has fainted! Arcane has gained 1 level! To attempt a capture, bla bla, throw a pokeball, whatever, you know the drill.

((Nice way to put it)) Finally, the group managed to thaw out Psyblade. And not a moment too soon either. Chris was so cold now, he could barely move at all. <Arcane, we have to help Chris> Dark Frost said, calling the legendary over. The four then huddled together, trying to keep Chris warm. "Guys, we have to take that Swinub back to his father" Chris told them, managing to go over and take the fainted Pokemon into his arms. With the assistance of the others, they were able to place him on Arcane's back and then huddle together with him, keeping him warm again. "Come on, let's go" he told them, rushing in the direction Swinub had been going.

<Where do you think you're going with my son> A loud voice thundered, shattering the peace of the otherwise silent afternoon. A large, brown, furry beast trudged through the snow slowly, using it's tusks as a makeshift snowplow to barrel it's way through.

Chris just smiled gently, standing in front of the Piloswine. "Arcane, give me Pokespeak abilites again" he whispered. When he was ready, he said <I've been trying to find you to return your son back to you. He dug me out of a small cabin buried with snow, so I decided to return him as a way of thanks. However, he ended up attacking us, so my Pokemon tried to defend me...and...> He placed the little Swinub in front of Piloswine.

Piloswine didn't look convinced. It roared, snatching the fainted Swinub with it's tusks and setting him to the side. "My son is inexperienced," it snarled, charging at Chris and attacking with its tusks.
