Narrowly dodging to the side, Chris told the Piloswine <I don't want to fight! I'm sorry for what happened, but I didn't want my Pokemon to fight!> Seeing that Chris was in trouble, his Pokemon tried to help. However, Chris stated <No! I won't fight this battle!>

Piloswine took no notice of the trainer's pleas. Skidding to a stop in the snow, he whirled around and charged again. <You will pay!>

Leaping into the air and dodging the charge, he called back all of his Pokemon. <Look, I can't battle you by myself!> Chris pleaded. <Please, I beg of you! Stop this madness!!>

<Why should I listen to you> It grunted, inhaling sharply and preparing to charge again. It's fur bristled with rage, as it glanced at it's fainted son again. <you hurt my child!>

<No, I didn't!> Chris cried, feeling the pain as he was sent flying by the Piloswine. <Please, listen to me! I didn't issue any commands against your son! The only reason my Pokemon attacked was because your son's Blizzard nearly killed me! Please, I'm sorry!> Noticing a small wound where one of the tusks had gone in, Chris began to cough up blood. <What the?> he asked, coughing again.

Piloswine snorted. <I don't think so. In any case...> It glanced at the satisfactory wound, and grinned smugly. <we're even. I'll be taking what's mine and leaving now.>
Scooping up his son with his tusks, he turned around and trudged through the snow, away from Chris.

Staring after the Piloswine, Chris gave a satisfactory smile. "As long...as we're no longer enemies" he whispered, losing consciousness from the blood loss.
After a while, the snow had begun to build up around him, almost completely shielding him from view. Only the cape and the sword hilt remained visible above the snow.

A lone Mightyena patrolled the area, looking for some food. Padding over carefully, it lowered it's head to sniff the hilt and cape. Stomach growling, it began to dig into the snow.

Eventually, the unconscious Chris was revealed, a rather large amount of blood soaked into the snow around him. The impale from the tusk had actually happened close to one of his lungs. A little bit more to the right, and Chris would most likely be dead. Regardless, he needed help.

Mightyena's pink tongue made quick work of the blood in the snow, lapping it up ravenously. Skin and bones, it clearly hadn't had a meal in quite some time.
Finished with it's task, it pawed at the trainer with an enormous fuzzy paw. Stomach still growling, maybe the trainer would wake up and give it some food.

However, Chris was still completely unconscious, with no hope of recovering in sight. One of his Pokeballs was still in his hand. Maybe the Pokemon inside could give the Mightyena some food?

Mightyena sniffed the pokeball. A toothy grin spread across it's weathered face, as it batted the orb with it's paw. This was fun!

Eventually, the Mightyena ended up pressing the button on the front and the Pokemon inside was let out. In this case, it was Dark Frost. The Weavile noticed Chris' condition and gave a nod of thanks to Mightyena. <Could you help me carry him to a Pokemon Centre?> he asked. Noticing his wound, he looked down to the same point on himself and realised it was there too! <Wait, how can it work both ways? I thought it was only Chris feeling our pain.> Of course, he was a lot stronger. <I'm sure he'll feed you when he's back to normal.>

Mightyena nodded. <I guess. As long as he feeds me. Just put him on my back. I know the way into town. We're not far.>
Stomach growling, it glanced at Weavile momentarily. Nah, it wouldn't make a very good meal. Too bony.

Giving a nod, Dark Frost placed Chris on the Pokemon's back. <I know what you were thinking when you looked at me> he growled. <And let me tell you now, you wouldn't be able to eat me anyway.>

<I wouldn't count on it> it whimpered. <I'm hungry enough to eat anything that comes along>
Slowly, it trudged through the snow, doing it's best to keep Chris from becoming a popsicle. Eventually, the temperature began to rise slightly, snow not as deep. From the mountains above, the Mightyena gazed at the town below. <Not much farther now>

<Alright, once Chris is all better, we'll sort your food out> Dark Frost told him. <Now, we'd better get there quickly, before the cold freezes the blood inside of him.>
