A boy was walking slowly on route 1. Noah was humming to himself and looked back sometimes to check on his Duskull. The ghost was floating right behind him following the trainer and looking around, inspecting their surroundings. The human suddenly stopped, causing his Pokémon to pass through him. A cold chill ran down the boy's spine from this and he started shaking. "Guh, try to pay attention next time where you're going, Requiem. I don't want to experience this sensation again." < I'm truly sorry, Boss. It won't happen again. > Noah smiled at the sight of his starter's guilty expression. "Oh, come on Requiem. You don't have to make such a face. Cheer up, okay? I'm not angry at you." The Duskull sighed in reliefment. Thankfully he didn't anger his trainer. But why did he stop so suddenly.< Could you tell me what made you stop walking? > Instead of answering the question, Noah pointed at a bush which was shaking slightly. "Something must be hiding in there. Would you make it reveal itself?" The reaper nodded and floated into the hiding place of that "something", trying to scare it out.

As the Duskull flew into the bush, it came face to face with a rock in a plastic bag. Clearly some irresponsible trainer had left it there, lying sadly in the bush. How sad...
From the skies, a Weedle fell, released from a Pidgey that had too much prey as it were. The lucky Pokémon slammed down onto the trainer’s head with a shrill squeal of “WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” When it had landed, Weedle crawled up the Trainer’s face and smiled. “OH MAI GAWD LET’S DO THAT AGAIN!” he screeched with a deafening tone. Well he was cute and hyper, and he loved this Trainer who had let him land there.
Trololololol.

"Could you lower your voice, my dear worm friend? It hurts my ears to listen to you." The boy was clutching his ears, this Weedle was even more louder than that female ranger back in the Ranger Station. The Duskull which was playing with the stone in the bag, rushed out of the bush when he heard the shrieks of the bug Pokémon. He looked at his trainer with a questioning look on its face. That Weedle was sitting on Noah's head shouting about something.
The Duskull floated up to his trainer and hit the bug/poison type off of the boy's head. "Why did you do that, Requiem? It didn't hurt me or anything. I admit that it was shrieking pretty loudly, but-" Noah crouched down and checked if the small thing had been injured or not. The Weedle looked okay, so Noah stood up and started walking again with his ghost type flying next to him. He turned back to face the Weedle. "Sorry, buddy, but I don't have the time to play with you. I'm looking for a strong Pokémon. See you later."

[OOC: You are potentially godmodding. You can not hit the pokemon off the hit. You can attempt to do it but you can't physically do it.] The Weedle was saddened but still in a very dazed state when he fell off of the head of the trainer. He had a lot of temerity as he was ready to fall high off the ground again, but some of his happiness when down the minute he fell to the ground. He frowned at the Duskull before he shot a dozen poison arrows at the pokemon. >This is what you get for knocking me down! You will pay for it! Pay!< He said although his aim wasn't the sharpest as he was still very dazed. Maybe some hit the Duskull, maybe some hit the trainer, maybe they all missed? The sky was still spinning for him... ::Weedle:: Fell off of Noah's head. Used Poison Sting on Duskull

[OOC: Sorry, I didn't mean to.]
The Weedle's attacks missed the ghost type, but unfortunately, his trainer wasn't that lucky. Some of the stings hit his left leg infecting it with poison. The boy hissed and fell to the ground clutching his left leg. It was burning and throbbing with pain. He felt the poison seeping through his veins, making his whole leg numb.
His Duskull floated to him quickly and tore off a little piece from the boy's T-shirt and started tieing the cloth around the infected left thigh tightly. < I'll have to watch out not to tie it too tightly. I don't want to prevent his blood flow. > After the spectre was done the boy stood up and dusted himself off. "Thanks, Requiem, but you shouldn't have bothered yourself with this. I'm dead already, so there won't be any problem if I get poisoned." The pokémon shook his head and sighed. His trainer had Cotard's Syndrome; for some reason he thought he was dead. The ghost was getting used to the boy's behaviour, but it still irritated him.
Requiem turned back to look at the worm who injured his owner and shot a vicious glare at it. < Heed my warning, you little scum. Don't try to attack my trainer ever again or you'll get sent to hell immediately! > The apparation turned back and started following his trainer who was already proceeding further into the tall grass, ignoring the small bug type completely. The reaper like Pokémon hoped that the Weedle will leave them alone already. They didn't have time for weaklings like it.

The Weedle watched the Duskull and his Trainer leave him, disbelief sparking in his beady eyes. The little worm began to grow angry and irritable, his head starting to fume. Those two had knocked him down unceromoniously onto the earth and hadn't even bothered apologizing!!
<Come back here! You're not getting away that easily!>the Weedle shouted angrily, firing another set of needles at the Ghost Pokemon.
The cries of the Weedle alerted a nearby Pokemon who had been busy foraging for food. His furry head emerged from a hole at the base of a tree, ears pricked in curiousity. Wandering towards the source of the sound, the young Zigzagoon spotted the group. It seemed the Weedle was picking a fight. Quite interested in the delopment that was happening, the Zigzagoon meadered up, keeping a distance between himself and the group and sat down to watch with curious, amber eyes.

The Poison Sting hit the ghost, but it didn't do too much damage; the only thing it did was anger the Duskull. It turned back, its only eye fixated on the small Weedle. < Looks like you don't know when to give up, do you? >
Noah noticed a Zigzagoon watching them and slowly limped over to it. "Mind if I sit here? I need to rest my injured leg a little." The boy sat down next to the small raccoon and started rubbing his aching left leg. He noticed that his Duskull was waiting for instructions from him. Noah shrugged. "Meh, you can do whatever you want to. I'll just watch your battle with this little fella." He took out a big packet of crisps, tore it open and started eating it. Suddenly, he took out another packet, opened that one too and placed it in front of the normal type. "You must be hungry. Don't hold back, you can eat as much as you want."
Meanwhile the Duskull was thinking. < So I can do what I want, huh? Kekekekekeh~ > The ghost type started laughing maliciously and looked at the worm. < Time to die, buddy... > Requiem's eyes glowed with a strange black aura and it shot a dark beam towards the small opponent.

Wild Weedle & Zigzagoon
The Weedle was completely freaked out by the Duskull's attack. The Night Shade was really creepy. He tried shaking it off by crawling away. But he wasn't running away, heck no, he was standing his ground in this battle! He turned around and shot a String Shot at the Duskull. The strings were shot and were used to try and slow the Duskull down if they hit. He then lowered his head and shot a Poison Sting at the Ghost. His horn glowed purple and shot many spikes at the Ghost.
The Zigzagoon didn't mind that he had someone to watch with. He scooted over and looked at the food in front of him. The Zigzagoon, being a quiet Pokemon and not much for words, nodded his head in thanks and ate the food in front of him.

The Duskull was surprised by the sticky silk which wrapped around him, lowering his speed, but noticed the poisonous needles just in time to doge them. The Duskull had to be careful. If he'd get poisoned he would be in deep trouble; his trainer didn't have an antidote with him. Requiem shot another Night Shade at the worm. The move creeped out the Weedle before and installing fear into the opponent is a great strategy; that and this was his only damaging move.
Noah and the Zigzagoon was enjoying the food and the battle when suddenly a thought struck the trainer. This small raccoon wouldn't be a bad addition to the team. It wouldn't hurt to ask it to join them on their journey. "Say, little buddy, would you like to come along with us? It's fun to travel to places you never saw before and you could battle too with others. You would enjoy it!" There was an abrupt silence since the normal type was still in the middle of eating the crisps. The boy grinned and coghed a little to get the raccoon's attention. When he thought that the Pokémon was looking at him, he pointed towards the battling pokemons. "Look at my Duskull, Requiem. Doesn't it look like he's enjoying that battle with the Weedle?" There was another long silence. The lad sighed. "To tell you the truth, I didn't want to catch that Weedle, that's why I tried to get away from it as fast as I could. I wanted to search for a stronger Pokémon. It's not like I have a problem with bug types, in fact I like them, but I don't like Weedle or the other caterpillar bug types. I would prefer to have a Joltik or a Skorupi." Noah scratched his head, it was starting to itch for some reason. "But they're not found here so I'm trying to find an Aron. It's pretty uncommon, but it worth the trouble you spend looking for one." The boy paused to take out a bottle of water from his backpack. He was getting thirsty so he started driking it. When he finished he started talking again. "So what do you say? Will you join us? I can guarantee that you won't regret it.

The Weedle squealed in fright as the Night Shade haunted him again, filling his heart full of oppressing fear that it hurt. When the frightening sensation finally dispersed, the Weedle was shivering, but his fighting spirit was still strong. <I'm not backing off from some creep like you!>the worm shouted defiantly, sending another web of string at the Duskull, followed up by a barrage of poisonous needles.
The Zigzagoon slowly chewed up the crips, savoring the flavors in his mouth. It was only after a while until the little raccoon realized the Trainer was talking to him and his furry head turned up to peer at the human with curious, amber eyes. He listened quietly until the Trainer finished talking. His ear twitched, giving the human a thoughtful look. His gaze travelled to the battling Pokemon, keeping a keen eye on the Duskull. A shudder ran down the Pokemon's spine as he gazed as the ghoul. Being around that Ghost Pokemon scared the little guy, yet he did consider the advantages of being with a Trainer. The Zigzagoon merely replied with a shrug, showing he'd think about it and returned to his meal.

This time the poison stings hit since the spectre was too tangled up in the sticky string shot and couldn't dodge it in time. The attack poisoning the spectre; it started to feel sick and dizzy, but regained his composure quickly and attacked the worm with another Night Shade.
Meanwhile, not far from the battle was sitting a human and a normal type watching the fighting pokemons. "Ooops, Requiem got poisoned and we don't have any Antidotes." Noah shrugged. "That sucks.
The boy glanced back at the raccoon. It looked like it was scared of the Duskull. "Don't worry, it doesn't bite." Noah lay down on the grass, when suddenly he felt something wet drop on his face. "What the-" Suddenly dark clouds engulfed the clear sky and a lighting struck a nearby tree. "Woah!" The boy got up quickly, just in time to jump out of the falling tree's way. He looked around and spotted a cave not too far away. He turned back to the Zigzagoon. Another mighty tree fell to the ground, overwhelmed by the "Come on,buddy, we should take shelter in that cave."power of a quick and fierce lightning. The rain was soaking Noah and the tiny raccoon Pokémon. "Let's run for it!"

Struck by another Night Shade that sent him reeling, the Weedle let out a squeal of pain, as he was thrown to the ground by the critical hit and left out in the rain, soaking his body from head to stinger. His vision dimmed as thunder cracked and lightning flashed, leaving him longing for a good, lengthy rest in the arms of Mother Nature. The Zigzagoon started, ears flicking, then flattening back against his fuzzy scalp as he abandoned his meal and ran for cover, tail flicking randomly and spraying flecks of water everywhere. He didn't much like the Trainer's offhand remarks about his Pokemon's envenomed state, but that was the least of his worries right now. ::weedle:: Fainted. Duskull gains a level.

The ghoul sighed in relief; the worm was down for the count at last. It was starting to get annoying how it got back up so persistently everytime the spectre knocked it down. Requiem groaned in pain; the venom was circulating through his body, weakening him with every passing moment. How could a small bug like that Weedle have such strong poison? The spectre's vision was blurry, he felt lighheaded and fatigue was slowly overtaking him. The fight took much more out of him then he thought it would. The reaper was ashamed of himself; he was weak, far too weak, that's why he couldn't finish off the pathetic worm more faster. Night Shade is a move that reflects the strength of its user. The stronger and more experienced the user is, the more powerful Night Shade becomes. Requiem's eye started to burn with determination; he will get stronger no matter what. The Duskull noticed that his trainer and the Zigzagoon he was with disappeared. The ghost started to look around nervously; Noah was nowhere to be found! Did his trainer abandon him, because he took too much time to bet this Weedle? The reaper was despairing when he noticed a bright light, it was coming from a nearby cave. Maybe Noah was there? The masked Pokémon hid the Weedle inside a bush quickly. The small worm could get injured in such a violent storm, it will be safe there. Probably.
Noah and the Zigzagoon was sitting beside the fire drying and warming themselves. The boy took a jacket out of his bag and put it on also. He looked at the Zigzagoon and spoke. "Listen, Zigzagoon. I've got an idea. There will be some Pokémon who will come here to take shelter from the rain like us." The boy took a brief pause. This should better work. "So, I will battle the first Pokémon that comes into the cave using you. You can decide wether you come with us or stay here after that, 'kay?"

In all honesty, the Zigzagoon was starting to get bored with the trainer. The fact that he was trying to cut a deal that didn't exactly get him anything but probably hurt didn't really sound all that appealing to him. That and the guy's Pokemon creeped him the hell out. He was thinking about just hightailing it out while he still had a full stomach. A screeching sound from inside the cave made him decide rather quickly, he was outta here. He didn't want to deal with whatever was coming this way. Wings flapping overhead told him that this was no place to be. (Get out of our cave human! Noah was surprised when the Zigzagoon ran away, not understanding what made the normal type flee. Then he heard the sound of 3 pair of wings flapping. He turned around to face three, pretty-angry looking Zubat. One of them, presumably the leader, shouted at him. < Get out of our cave human! No one invited you in! >
"I didn't see your name written on it, buddy and as you can see there's a violent storm outside so I won't leave." The boy turned back to the fire, ignoring the pack of bats. "I wonder when will my Duskull get here?" The young trainer detached the pokeball containing his newest Pokémon from his belt slowly. He didn't want the bats to notice it.
Requiem finally managed to find a safe place for the Weedle and started to float towards the cave. He was almost at the entrance when he run into the Zigzagoon that was with his trainer. The ghost yelled at it. < Where's my owner, furball? If you won't answer I'll have to hurt you. >

The Zubat trio turned on the boy in the cave, obviously annoyed that he refused to leave. Of course it wasn't their cave, but the nerve of him not getting out when asked! The irked group flit about the cave, circling the boy who seemed to be defenseless at the time. The largest Zubat let out a Screech, followed by the other two, in hopes the boy would freak out and leave them alone. <GET OUT!>
Zigzagoon smashed into the Duskull, coming to sit on his hindquarters in the middle of the path. The rain was really starting to soak into his fur, and water was something he didn't quite enjoy. The creepy Pokémon before him demanded an answer about his trainer, but the Pokémon only shrugged, standing before racing around the ghost to keep running for cover. Or something better to do.

The boy covered his ears to shield them from the Screech attacks, but first he released his Cubone. The brown ground type understood the situation immediately and attacked the leader without hesitation.
The Duskull let the Zigzagoon go, he couldn't hurt it even if he wanted to; Night Shade was uneffective against a normal type. The ghost turned back to the cave when he heard a screeching noise coming out of it. He floated inside quickly. He saw the 3 Zubats, using Screech on his trainer. Since Cubone attacked the leader, the spectre targeted the second biggest bloodsucker. His eye glowed with a balck aura and shot a Night Shade at the bat.

The ZUBAT trio knew what a Perish Song meant. It meant that all Pokemon on the field would faint in three turns. They would have to make theirs count. ((You don't scare us guy! We've lived in this cave our whole lives and you humans just think you can take whatever you want! Not this time. You know what to do guys!))
The other two ZUBAT nodded and the second in command took the Nightshade attack. It was all for the sake of their home after all. Even if they did end up fainting well then they would go down in style! The leader took the middle, aiming a Leech Life attack at the Cubone while the other two used Supersonic, one at the Cubone and the other at the Duskull. They wouldn't give up their homes, not again and not for humans! Luckily the Supersonic didn't affect neither the Duskull, nor the Cubone, but the Leech Life connected with the ground type. The attack fazed the bone wielder a little, but it shook off the pain and growled at the leader. < Bone Club won't affect these bastards so I'll have to wait until Perish Song takes affect. Fortunately Noah's ears were covered and the Duskull wasn't here when I used Perish Song so they won't faint. >
Requiem aimed the Night Shade at the leader now. When their boss faints the others will get confused. < I will have to stand my ground against these vampires. If I faint the boss will get into trouble. >
"This 3 against 2 looks a little unfair." The trainer picked up a thick stick and rushed towards the smallest Zubat to hit it in the head. "Sorry, bat, but this will hurt!

No matter what the case, these three ZUBAT would soldier on until the end. Did this human think that his toxic attitude would make them be a Slave 4 u? No way! There were children in this cave and they would be free to sing the ZUBAT anthem, Hit me baby one more time until the end of days. Once again the smallest ZUBAT used supersonic, focusing it on the Duskull this time. He danced out of the way of the clumsy humans attack, laughing as it passed under him. It didn't matter if the odds were fair, they were the ones invading homes after all! The largest of the ZUBATS was hit by the nightshade attack and spiraled back a little. It was only a normal amount of damage after all. ((Let's use Leech Life on the skull face!))
