The Entrance Hall was decorated with streamer and latex-free balloons. Roran had to make sure they were free of latex incase a guest was allergic. Quite frankly the entrance hall looked like a professional had decorated it. He couldn’t help it. He was a perfectionist at heart. He had spent the previous day cleaning it until not even the smallest of dust dared touch any surface. Clean and Decorated.
All five pools had been tidied. Floats, rafts, masks, flippers, and everything else pool related had been put into pool-side bins labeling what each one contained. Both indoor and outdoor pools had lounging chairs around them neatly, with tables accompanying them for drinks and snacks. The pools were salt-water pools, meaning that there was no chlorine to hurt your eyes. It was perfectly safe for your eyes to open them under water.
Both the 50-seat cinema and two-lane bowling alley had been tidied also. Each chair in the cinema was unstained and looking brand-new. The bowling alley had been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. Roran hated the thought of using shoes somebody else had worn so he bought hundreds of pairs for nearly every size imaginable. He also bought new bowling balls and had those cleaned. He had been a bit of a workaholic the past week.
But finally the day had arrived. His birthday party. The doors were wide open, ready to receive his guest. Of course, being the paranoid thing he was he instantly grew wary. What if no one showed up? Then instead of a good time with friends, he’d be left with disappointment. The fragile confidence he already had would be crumbled into nothing. He would have started to hyperventilate then and there if Kuro hadn’t calmed him down
<Roran, lots of people will come. If they don’t I’ll go hunt them down!> The evil grin on Kuro’s face told Roran that he was completely serious about hunting them down. Roran couldn’t help but smile. Who wouldn’t when they know they’ve got such a loyal [if not a bit messed up] pokemon by their side? The duo set out the last bits of snacks and refreshments before sitting down on a couch near the entrance hall. A TV near them flashed on [The Movie Moulin Rouge of Course!].
That was the wicked awesome part of his house. He wore with him a small pin on his shirt and whatever room he went into, the TV went on to his preferred movie or channel. When he left, it turned off. It was the same with the stereo system. When he went into the room, speakers played his preferred music. Today it happened to be ‘Happy Birthday’.
”So Kuro, now I guess we just wait.”

Kendall hadn't really ever met Roran.
She'd heard from down the grape vine that some extravagant party was being held down on Cheyenne Lane. Sakura had mentioned it to her a few times. Of course she had heard of him before, plenty of people around here did. He was, from what she heard, a very nice man. He was fairly feminine, but not gay. Of course Kendall had no prejudices against people like that, only morphs.
She walked down from her house to his, finding an invitation the other day placed in her mailbox. Sakura had not been able to attend, but had asked Kendall to deliver a present. Kendall was more than happy to help her long time friend. As she approached the large house, she felt a bit under dressed. She had only managed to pull out a blue dress that only ended at her knees. It was nothing fancy, but it looked very comfortable. And of course, Eric had forced her to wear a bow in her hair. It bounced up and down with every step, hanging loosely. Oh what he made her do. -winkwink-
In her hands was as small blue box, wrapped with a white ribbon. A small car read 'Roran' in nice cursive letters. She waltzed up the sidewalk to the large pair of doors. They towered over her with ease, and she felt so small, as she knocked them lightly. "Roran? Roran Willow?" She called after two small raps on the door.

'Where am I?' he wondered as he clutched the invitation handed to him by a mail carrier, he had never met Roran at all, but rich parties is where he's at. He did a bit of asking around on this character, and he heard of nothing besides the fact that he was rich and a professor.
'I hope I know someone.' his mind raced quickly, he didn't want to be completely alone at this party. The few people he knew disappeared off of the face of the earth.
The card said, no gifts needed, so he didn't bring one. He wouldn't have an idea of what to give the professor, they have everything. After a few moments he noticed a huge house and a girl standing next to the gate. He looked at her outfit and felt as if he might have dressed to badly, he had a black and red tie over a black vest and a white colored shirt. Jay had on black dress pants and shoes, but he had more comfy clothes in the backpack he kept.
He waited by the gate with the teenage girl, "Uhh hey, is this for Rorans party? I'm Jay." giving out a hand for a polite gesture.
ooc| Thanks Kendall, you gave me a small template on how to post xD

Footsteps that were perfectly audible trailed behind Kendall. She had half-hoped it was Roran, but wouldn't know even if he was. She half-turned to look at the stranger behind her, who she could not picture as the feminine boy she had heard of. He had a color choice of black and read, and slightly untidy.
Although her hopes for him being Roran had already gone, she was reassured her assumptions were incorrect. "Uhh hey, is this for Rorans party? I'm Jay." He held out his hand that was no doubt larger than her own. She gave a quick smile of her set of teeth. She balanced the box in one hand as she took his and shook it lightly. "I uh..believe so. Kendall." She said, not taking time to make a long introduction. She turned towards the door again, craning her neck to look up and it's height. "Eesh. Get a bigger house next time." She muttered to herself.

Yawning slightly, his hands reached for the sky stretching, he was a little tired, and having woken up a few hours ago. His hands graced the girls dress accidently 'sorry.' slipped out of his lips as he looked at the gate and waited for Roran to let them in.

Was it normal to be invited to such gatherings without any knowledge of the person in question in this region? Sanori had to admit she had been rather taken aback by the fact she had received an invite from a 'Roran Willow' about being invited to some sort of party it seemed. She absently tucked a few strands of her white hair behind her ears, her azure eyes looking over the invitation she still had in her hand once more. She had to admit that the layout was rather attractive, as was the polite tone it seemed to be written in. Surely it was alright to attend then, right? If it had been a mistake of some sort she would just leave without a problem, simple as that.
Of course, the woman had never really attended such matters, thus had not exactly been sure about how to go about dressing, thus, she merely replaced her normal white pants with a pale blue skirt that ended around her ankles, leaving her green mid-drift and khaki vest with her black adornments around her neck and arms and the heart pendant as it was. It was a confusing prospect to completely change one's outfit just for a different occasion, so if just one change made it look at least 'semi-formal', then that was alright... right?
She took her eyes away from the invitation as she glimpsed the formes of two others up ahead. Allowing a slight smile to immediately cross her lips, she picked up her pace slightly, relatively eager to speak to other people. Still smiling as she paused a few feet away, she closed her eyes in a cheerful manner, allowing a greeting of "Hello, friends!" to escape her throat. While one normally didn't address people who's names you didn't even know as a friend, it was one of the relatively naive quirks that Sanori had about her person.

"So we take a left then a right then another left."
"No, no it's a right then another right then a left."
The two voices argued on directions to a teenager's house for his birthday, they aimlessly walked through a random street in search for one Roran Willow. One of the figures held in front of his white face a small map for better help due to Zeke's terrible sense of direction, he was dressed in a rather casual outfit with his favorite purple turtleneck and a nice black unbuttoned shirt over it with a black tie hung around his neck and fell down in front of his torso. To finish it up he wore a pair of black jeans and his black pair of leather hiking boots also a small black and white fedora was lodged on his mess of green hair, so he was good for a nice party."Face it Ion, were lost. At this rate when we get there the party will all ready......be.........over........"At that point Zeke had stopped in his tracks and stood there dumbfounded causing Ion to raise an eyebrow at him and stared at his trainer.
"What? What are you staring........at."The Gallade asked his shocked trainer as he turned his head at what the morph was hypnotised by then he saw it. A huge, beautiful mansion in front of them as he examined it closer he noticed one thing it had a plate with the name,'Roran Willow's Mansion'.
"Oh...my...god."They both said in unison before they both shook there heads slightly to avoid looking like idiots by standing in front of the mansion stare at it with a blank stare. They both walked towards the entrance of the party, Ion had a smirk plastered on his face, it was his first time in a huge mansion. Zeke on the other hand was looking for some people he might talk to and/or know then he saw three people that seemed to be talking to each other so why not socialize with them, so the morph nudged his pokemon and motioned Ion to follow him. The two walked down till they got to the three people and he made a small bow,"Hello there. My name is Zeke, that is Ion."He introduced himself and his pokemon in a formal way to the strangers with a small smile.

"Roran? Roran Willow?"
Roran didn't even need Kendall to talk. His eyes had spotted her when she was walking down the street and instantly grew curious if it was one of his guests. He was getting up to go to the door when he tripped. Naturally that was why it had taken him so long to actually reach the door. He heard another voice, a male's at the door and tried to rush a bit faster. Instantly he whipped open the door just in time to hear Kendall's other remark.
"Eesh. Get a bigger house next time."
Why the heck did she have to say that? Didn't she understand that he would take it seriously? "Is it really not big enough for you? I always thought it was too big for me...but I guess I should have gotten that other addition if you're not satisfied with it." Poor Stupid Roran. He tilted his head a little bit in thought. How could someone find this house not big enough? Well then, he'd have to add another cinema soon. Oooh, or perhaps an arcade. That would be fun. "I guess an arcade or amusement park might be a nice addition. The Pokémon would like that..." He spoke more in thought than to Kendall and Jay.
"OH!" he suddenly said as he snapped out of thought. "I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Roran Willow, please come in!" He let loose one of those smiles of his as he welcomed the two of them in. Suddenly he noticed a girl behind them. Quite frankly it wasn't the white hair that he noticed first, it was her eyes.
Roran. being Roran, was quick to compliement her. He just had to, it was his nature. "Your eyes are really quite gorgeous. I just have to tell you. I'm Roran. Roran Willow." See? Only a feminine boy would notice and compliment a complete stranger using words like 'gorgeous'. Then again, Roran wasn't really the most normal of all human beings.
Roran then noticed Zeke and Ion and quickly motioned for the two to join him inside. He was secretly smiling to himself. He had never expected this many people. Quite frankly he had only expected Noah to show up.
"Please make youself at home. If you need anything and can't find me, a member of the staff would love to help you!" Yep, by member of the staff, he meant maids and butlers. With a house like his, he needed help cleaning, not to mention that his Pokémon enjoyed the 24/7 service. "There are two indoor pools down that way. The others are outside in the back and sides. The Bowling Alley would be right down this hall while the cinema is in the opposite direction. If you don't have a bathing suit with you, we've got new ones in all sizes in the locker rooms." Again yet another 'rich' feature of his home. Each pool came with two locker rooms. One for the boys and one for the girls. In the locker rooms were toilets, showers, washing machines, and even a closet full of brand new bathing suits for a guest without one.
"Oh, and this is Kuro, my vulpix. I hope he'll be alright with all of the guests, but sometimes, he can be a bit....rude."
<Oh shut up. I'm not that bad. But seriously, I'd watch that that guy doesn't steal anything. I saw him outside and it looked like he was trying to feel that girl up.> Kuro was refering to Jay clearly and how he had accidentally brushed up against Kendall. He spoke straight at Jay even if he was talking to Roran. <But I guess I'll be out of your way today...buh-bye.> With that Kuro ran off to who knows where.
"Please excuse him. So refreshments and snacks are being served by the staff...." Once again, poor little Roran. He was speaking so awkwardly. Well of course he was. This was his first ever party and didn't know how to go about it.

[HELLO MAH HOMEDAWGS]
The girl climbed the steps, unable to do anything but stare at the size of the house before her. She banged on the door, then decided, oh hell. She opened the door, turning the knob, and letting herself in. She dropped the present she'd brought on the table where other brightly-colored gifts were. The gastly that had been at her side was gone, probably off making mischief. The neuvie that was still pacing at her side yawned. She didn't get much sleep.
Shiori looked around, looking for a chair to sit in. Meanwhile, her gastly, Ghos, was off making trouble. He took control of a chair, making it float towards the girly-looking professor. The chair floated towards him, and then was jerked forward, as if someone was offering him a seat. "Gaaaas." <Take a seat.> The ghost pokemon offered him formally. He held back an evil cackle.
The neuvie, Cloak, shook her head as she watched the gastly's antics. She left her trainer's side, as Shiori was now looking around for food to dig in to. She trotted off, ignoring most of the trainers that were now arriving. Where is that professor? She wondered, her sharp eyes looking around. She obviously couldn't even imagine that the girly boy her teammate was trying to scare was the birthday boy himself.

Roran smiled yet again. He'd be doing a lot of smiling during the day. That was when he noticed something comming at him. A floating chair? He opened his mouth to let out a high-pitched scream when suddenly something was stuffed into his mouth. A paw? Roran looked at the Vulpix on his shoulder confused.
<I do believe that I just saved you the embarrassment of your gay little scream.> With that Kuro ran off again to wherever it was that he had come from. How the heck had he known that Roran was about to scream? Maybe it was that trainer, pokemon bond. Then again, probably not.
Roran's attention went back to the floating chair as he tried to control himself this time. Well it was a chair. And it was floating. Maybe a ghost pokemon was behind it? Roran flinched the moment it spoke. "Um. No thank you..." He was clearly scared. His body was even trembling slightly. Well atleast is wasn't as bad as if someone had brought a bug pokemon. Those were the worst to him.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Roran Willow..." he felt awkward talking to a chair and it obviously didn't look normal.

A lone boy strolled down the path, glancing around the vast clearing around him. His brow was furrowed and a slight expression of confusion was on his face. The very feminine invitation was clutched in his grasp, the directions neatly written in elegant cursive on the back. Steely gold eyes looked vainly for a house to appear out of nowhere.
Quil let out a stubborn sigh, as he continued walking, thinking about the route he had just taken. He had followed the directions to the letter, and yet he was stumbling around lost? Great. He was going to be late, not the best way to impress a top professor of Team Death. If he wanted to advance in the rankings he had to be buddy-buddy with some of the professors. From what he had heard, Roran Willow was the most timid and kind of them all.
He would have to make a good impression.
Well. If he ever got there. Quil followed his sneakers as they continued down the street, he was dressed in fairly casual attire, but he had dressed up a bit for the party. After all, from the few glimpses of Roran Quil had had he knew his was not going to be a rave. So he adorned a simple button down shirt and a pair of skinny jeans that hugged his hips.
Drawing his eyes from the ground he was met with an astonishing sight. "Whoa." he whispered in awe. That guy was filthy rich! He couldn't wait until he got that much money. Shrugging the bewilderment off, he took his time getting to the front door. He spotted a group just heading inside, and Quil hastily followed, speeding up his pace.
Stepping inside the door, he caught the end of Roran's speech. "Staff...?" he muttered, shaking his head in amazment. Quil quickly eyed the flaoting chair and the professor talking too it. "You do relize that chair is being levitated by that pokemon over there?" he questioned. Before brushing that fact aside. He quickly strode up to the professor though, and extended his hand. "Hello there Roran. I'm Quil. It's a pleasure to meet you." he said, forcing the polite words through his teeth. "Very nice place here." he added sincerly.
"Thanks for the invitation Professor." he added, as he glanced around the guests. "Lots of people here. Do you know them all?" he questioned, regonizing a few familiar faces. Like Shiori for example. Quil had seen her walking around Team Death a few times. Quil squinted at the girl. "I know you from somewhere." he said, scowling slightly at the inability to pinpoint when he had seen her.

Sanori was just about to turn to reply to the other two individuals that had approached since her own arrival, however, when she allowed her eyes to fall on them she was taken by slight surprise. The green and white warrior-like creature that was positioned next to whom she guessed was its trainer was a Pokemon she had never seen before [which wasn't exactly a hard achievement to gain considering her sheltered childhood]; however, she seemed to have mistaken the name 'Ion' for its species name, for she immediately smiled cheerfully and responded with a "Greetings Zeke and your Ion! I'm Sanori," she seemed to be quite proud of herself for getting her pronunciation at least somewhat correct.
However, her moment of self-given praise was momentarily interrupted by the opening of the door behind her. Immediately turning around so she could see who exactly had made an appearance from the interior of the large [rather extravagant] mansion. She blinked at the young man that appeared's first set of comments. An arcade...? What exactly was an arcade? She was just about to open her mouth to ask when the individual continued to introduce himself and then, much to her sheer surprise, actually complimented her. That was certainly something she was not used to, and in response she murmured a light "Thank you.", clearly not exactly sure how to respond.
As Roran continued his small 'speech', Sanori noted several terms she was not familiar with. A 'bowling alley' for example, and 'lockers'. She knew what a bathing suit was well enough, but she supposed she would have to ask someone soon about what exactly the other terms meant. As more people continued to arrive, Sanori stepped out of the way, instead watching the events take place before her. It was certainly easier that way, then maybe she could approach a 'friend' that wasn't too occupied with whatever else was going on. Yes, certainly that was the best way! However, she could help but give a someone surprised look as a chair of all things seemed to pick itself up and begin to hover, actually making noises that sounded a lot like some sort of speech as it did so. Was that normal around here as well? So many questions! Just so many!

Kendall smiled as the polite boy responded to her smart comment. He took things quite seriously, that was cute. "Is it really not big enough for you? I always thought it was too big for me...but I guess I should have gotten that other addition if you're not satisfied with it. I guess an arcade or amusement park might be a nice addition. The Pokémon would like that..." He was rather serious too. Kendall's grin grew slightly. "Oh no..I was only kidding." She apologized in a high alto.
He ushered them in through to the house, almost forgetting to introduce himself. That was Roran, and he fit her picture of him almost perfectly. He had a beautiful pair of eyes, a mix of green and blue. But otherwise, there was nothing extraordinary.
She quietly followed him after he had made all of his introductions. He was talking to...er...a floating chair? No matter, it was most likely possessed. She still had this blue box in her hand, and wasn't too excited with the idea of carrying it everywhere for who knows how long. She lightly tapped his shoulder with her finger. She put on a polite voice that she had too well mastered. "Excuse me, not to inturrupt your..er..conversation." She giggled. "But Sakura wanted to make sure this got to the birthday boy, which i believe is you, monsieur." She accented it with a bit of French, a habit she had picked up from Eric. Inside the small box was a small beanie baby. It was a white polar beat, with a blue ribbon around its neck. It wore a button that said Happy Birthday. Kendall was sure now that he would love it.

Shiori was stuffing her face, which was rather predictable. The ghost pokemon, Ghos, appeared suddenly, dropping the chair to the floor with a bang. He stuck his tongue out at Quil, tempted to Lick him, but then dropped the subject. He let out an eerie cackle, even eerier coming from a shadow Pokémon with a dark aura emanating from it. He disappeared again, zipping off.
The gastly was seen on the outskirts, picking up food and swallowing it whole. The neuvie shook her head in well-mannered disgust. That Pokémon was just untameable, it seemed. Both him and Shiori were scarfing down food, but the girl took a moment to greet the ghost Pokémon. "Hey Ghos, having fun?" She waved at the gastly, who laughed again and disappeared. "Pffft." She went back to loading her plate up.
The neuvie stalked the outskirts, watching people socializing. She then picked up on shards of conversation, and her eyes spotted the boy her teammate had been harassing. Oh, so that must be Roran. She inferred. She whirled around, then began trotting towards him. Her tails waved behind her elegantly as she pranced up to him, and then seated herself beside him. The dark canine Pokémon was silent, however.
Shiori stopped momentarily to answer Quil's question, swallowing the food she had in her mouth. "TD." She abbreviated it, so the listener's wouldn't understand it if they weren't in the team themselves.

"Hello there Roran. I'm Quil. It's a pleasure to meet you. Very nice place here."
"Oh, hello Quil. Thank you so much. You're very kind." What a nice boy! Ohh, and was he a pokemorph? How cool. "So you do think it's a nice place? Someone else thought that it was too small. I hope it isn't. I only hope that I can make everyone happy I guess." Roran couldn't help but give a pout. What an adorable little pout it was! "Well I do hope you enjoy yourself! It was very nice to meet you."
"Lots of people here. Do you know them all?"
Roran flashed a smile at the question. "Quite frankly, no. I don't think I know anyone here yet. I mean I've run into a couple of them, but I've never really held a conversation with any of them. You're the first person I've actually really talked to. Then again, this is hardly a conversation I guess." Roran liked this kid. He seemed really sweet and nice and was the first to actually approach him.
"Excuse me, not to inturrupt your..er..conversation. But Sakura wanted to make sure this got to the birthday boy, which i believe is you, monsieur."
"Really! A present for me?" he sounded so excited like a little boy on christmas. He hadn't really expected anything from his boss, but who knew. "It'd be rude of me to open this right now, I hope you don't mind if I wait until later." Kendall probably had no clue how much Roran loved little stuffed animals like that. Wolves, dogs, pandas, and bears were his favorites. He never got rid of them. They were all kept in a room of his where if he ever needed to be reminded that he was loved so much [or if he was scared at night and needed a stuffed animal to sleep with] he had all of them there. He set the box down near the other presents and gave yet another grin.
Roran suddenly noticed pokemon next to him and looked over at it. He had never seen that one before. It must be a Cheyenne one. "Hello there, I'm Roran!" What a sunny disposition he had. A bit too sugary.

Jay walked into the house with a smile, it was a very big house. Alot of room for one young lad, he wondered if he actually had a use for every single room. He saw about five other trainers walk in and with that he headed for the food. He took a plate and grabbed lots of food, he was hungry.
He began to stuff his face and looked at the two people talking, he didn't know them, but he did form somewhere, he didn't let his mind wander about it for to long. He stood there waiting for someone he knew to come, if he wanted to make friends, this would definetly be the place.
"Hm, might as well let one of you out." he said to himself, a pokeball was let out and landed on the floor, a white image appeared before it appeared as a Umbreon. Artemis was definetly Jay's favorite companion. She began to walk in and out of Jay's legs as he eyes looked around, this was a unfamiliar place to her. "We're at a party." he replied to her as she nodded slightly, they were building a bond, after being together for at least a year.

The small boys face lit up with excitement. As if the small blue box held the world to him. She held it up for him to scoop up. Which he was more than happy to take. "It'd be rude of me to open this right now, I hope you don't mind if I wait until later. That was expected, Kendall didn't really want to show the present in front of everyone else. It would look like she had some sort of crush on him. "Of course that is alright. Well I will leave you to your fun. Happy Birthday." She said in a calm tone.
Now where to? She was lost in the large house. But she remembered that he had mentioned an indoor pool over to the right. She had planned to go swimming later, and had a suit on under her light dress. So she waltzed over that way. The pool was gorgeous, as expected. There were towels about, and several chairs and tables. Kendall didn't hesitate to pull the dress above her head, and set it on a outstretched chair. She slipped her boots off and stuck her feet in the edge of the water. "Agh. Cold." She said, shivering a bit.

Sanori seemed to be gradually making her way around the edges of the hustle and bustle, trying to pick someone out to begin a conversation with without interrupting one that was already in progress. Her eyes strayed first to the refreshment tables, where she almost loosed a cheerful squeak as she finally noted a Pokemon she actually recognized. An Umbreon to be exact, a creature that was actually first discovered in her home region. Pushing a few stray strands of hair from her eyes, she began to walk over in the creature's direction, having decided to strike up a conversation with the boy whom she had seen release it.
"Hello!" she chimed cheerfully in Jay's direction, clasping her hands behind her back as she leaned forward a bit to get a better look at him. "You have a really nice Umbreon!" She smiled, apparently confident, or at least hopeful, that her goal of striking up some talk would be received well.

He took large bites out of the chocolate chip cookie as the young girl headed his way, his eyes widened as she looked slightly different, and she was coming right towards him. He quickly swallowed his snack and glanced down at Umbreon, she rushed off to the oncoming trainer and began rubbing her head on the lass' legs.
"Sorry, she likes doing that. I guess she really likes you." he replied as Artemis purred slightly.
'Hello! You have a really nice Umbreon!"
"Thanks! I've had her for the longest time, she's really grown on me. I have a shiny stone that I got luckily, and I'm tempted to make her shiny, but I like her the way she is." his lips hadn't stopped moving as he just ran out of breath, "I'm Jay. What's your name?" he asked curiously, the person seemed very interesting, and he got what he wanted.
Someone to talk to.

"Sorry, she likes doing that. I guess she really likes you."
"No, no, it's alright," Sanori replied cheerfully, looking down at the creature with a fond smile. "It's nice to see a Pokémon I finally recognize, really, especially one that's so friendly!" Already she seemed to have become completely relaxed in the new environment, to a point where she could honesty say she was having fun despite the fact that she knew the names of virtually none of her 'friends' in the immediate area.
"Thanks! I've had her for the longest time, she's really grown on me. I have a shiny stone that I got luckily, and I'm tempted to make her shiny, but I like her the way she is." "I'm Jay. What's your name?"
However, as the male continued to talk a momentary look of confusion crossed the girl's features. A shiny stone? She knew the basic stones, like the moon stone and firestone, but never had she heard of a shiny stone. Alas, by the sound of it it seemed that the item altered the Pokémon to a shiny status... so it was possible for a stone to change a Pokemon's colour.
She only just realized how obvious that answer to that was. Surely, if a stone could alter a Pokemon's forme it was child's play to alter an actual colour!
"I'm Sanori," she replied, again brushing aside a few strands of hair which seemed to be rather persistent in getting in the way of her eyes. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Jay!" Like before, she seemed rather proud of the fact that it seemed she had gotten the pronunciation correct. That was a staple in learning after all. Momentarily lost for conversation, she figured that perhaps this person would be a good individual to perhaps shed some light on her previous confusions, thus, she stated a question of her own. "Do you happen to know what a 'bowling alley' is?" She gave an innocent smile, clearly quite unaware just how strange such a question might sound out of the blue.
