Sam had made his way to the Trainer Lounge and had rented a room in order to battle any trainer here. He wanted a chance to train his pokemon, and also wanted to test out the new gadget he had bought called Experience Share. It was supposed to allow his Pokémon to get experience even without battling, a great way for Bagon to get stronger in her young age. He was hugging the Bagon closely right now and registered a room in the Trainer Lounge, hoping someone would come in soon to do battle with him. He was going to be here all night, and planned to come back the next day and the day after. He wanted to get as much as he could out of training his Bagon before he felt sure it could battle on his own...
He held his Bagon who was currently sleeping and began to wait for a trainer to come in.
Rules for Thread: 1. Open to everyone 2. It can be any # of Pokémon against me... I prefer more Pokémon but if you don't have more... that's okay. 3. We can even do double battles if you want. 4. You can use your held items if you want. I will use mine. 5. You can switch out in between battles... That is fine. I probably will also. 6. I am not crazily set on winning so that shouldn't be a problem. My main goal is to get Bagon stronger anymore. She is a bigger priority to me than my other Pokémon right now... 7. Just have fun!

Aaron looked inside the door. He had heard that someone was waiting for a battle in here. And battling could only lead to more experience, wether it was a win or loss. He knocked on the door while looking inside.
hello. I heard someone wanted to battle around here?
Ooc: yeah, lousy entrance post. i know. will try to do better on battle posts.

Sam hadn't waited too long when someone had finally showed up. It was a boy of average height and very skinny build. The boy had brown hair and red eyes. Sam took a look at him and smiled when the boy asked if someone wanted a battle. He hugged his Bagon and said to the boy <"I would love to battle! I will start off with my Gligar.">The Gligar flew in front of Sam and closer to the boy. It was happy and ready to battle. Sam also introduced himself to this kid so that he would not just be rude and battle him, just to leave after. <"By the way. My name is Sam. And you can see my Bagon in my hand and my Gligar who is near you. What is your name?">Right after he said that, his Bagon began to awake and began to make a little cough which created a gust of wind which showed a good deal of potential. Sam's eyes lit up for a minute as he happily hugged his Bagon. <"Look at you Bagon! You just used Twister! We can totally practice this while you are battling now!">His Bagon smiled and began to cough again, to create another gust of it. It still had not materialized into an attack yet... As it was faded really quickly. But it was progress. It was a very small tornado, smaller than the size of gust right now... But it was improving and this made Sam very happy and very proud. Sam was also curious to what other moves Bagon could use... ::Gligar:: Ready to battle
::Bagon:: (EXP SHARE) Attempting to learn to perfect Twister

Aaron smiled and walked inside as he heard someone reply. How did he not see him first? He looked at the Gligar and then at the Bagon. It looked like the Bagon was only going to watch. My name is Aaron. Shall we have a one on one?He said after the guy introduced himself. He grabbed a pokeball and threw it out, letting out Lora. Lora looked at the Gligar, tilting her head a bit, awaiting its move. Level 7 Awaiting Orders

Sam was okay with either a one on one battle or more pokemon against him... He simply said to Aaron...
<"I have more than one pokemon, as you can clearly see. So I'm open to us using all of them if you would like. I will definitely start with my Gligar though, who was my starter. Was Lotad your starter?">
He was in a clear disadvantage here as his Gligar was weak against water types... But he had a feeling that level went his way in this battle as his Gligar looked physically stronger than the Lotad.
<"Gligar, start off with a Sand Attack and then use Poison Sting against the Lotad!">
Sam quickly yelled out... His Gligar grabbed a handful of sand and threw it at the Lotad, before he pointed his claw at the pokemon and shot a dozen poisonous needles at the pokemon.
::Gligar:: (LEFTOVER) Used Sand Attack and Poison Sting
The Bagon was a little tired after attempting to use Twister. She simply hugged Sam and began to sleep. She was still too young to be going rigorously.

Aaron stepped back a bit, lowering his head and shoulders a bit, standing in a battle like stance. The sand-Attack hit, making Lora try to shake it off, before she was hit by the poison sting. She got up again, looking at the Gligar. She could not see properly like before, but she could still see properly. But in strength he was stronger. Lora, use Growl and AbsorbLora growled towards where she could see the Gligar partially, before sending off the green absorb orbs towards the same spot. Hit by Sand-attack and Poison sting Not poisoned Used Growl and Absorb

Gligar was surprised and taken back a bit when the Lotad growled at him. He was not expecting the Lotad to attack and suddenly found himself falling into the absorb and feeling a little light in the head. If Gligar did not act fast he would've fell to the ground and gotten hit hard. But he did snap out when Sam yelled at him to use his next move...
<"Gligar! Fly towards him and use Metal Claw!"> Sam screamed at his pokemon.
Gligar quickly snapped out of his state and began to fly towards the Lotad while he sharpened his claws in an attempt to cut the pokemon up. It probably won't hurt as much as it could, but if it connected... Sam expected that the Lotad will feel all of this and become extremely damaged from the attack.
::Gligar:: (-1 attack) Hit by Growl and Absorb. Used Metal Claw on Lotad.

Aaron smiled at Lora, which was to focused on the incoming metal claw to look at him. Aaron closed his eyes, then he looked calmly as the metal claw striked. Lora were sent back a good distance, and were quite damaged. But she would do anything she could to make sure the opponent was as weak as possible before going down. Lora, do it now.Lora growled again, before sending off more of the green absorb spheres. they would heal her, and if she were lucky she could withstand the next attack becasue of the growls effect. But because of the sand in her eyes she could not see properly, and it was possible that she would not hit with her attack, one or both. Hit by Metal claw very damaged used growl and Absorb

One would think that Gligar would learn from the first time after seeing Lotad's attack, yet the same thing happened again... He was startled by the growl and fell right into the a trap of absorb. But this time he began to catch himself without any assistance although he had begun to weaken a bit... Gligar again flew towards the Lotad and this time threw sand at the Lotad to mask his attack as he attempted to drive his claws into the water Pokémon one more time to knock Lora out. It had started to develop a more killer instinct as it got more used to battling. And this attack was it's "Kill" shot against the Lotad. Or it's intended kill shot. (Beginning to Weaken) (-2 attack) Hit by Growl and Absorb. Used Metal Claw on Lotad.

Lora could not see anything now. The sand were covering her eyes totally. As she were hit by metal claw, she went flying straight into Aarons arms. Aaron patted her head and returned her to the pokeball. He looked at the other guy, knowing that the Gligar had to be weak now. He grabbed another pokeball, sending out Rade this time. Rade, use Tail whip and Horn attackRade whipped his tail before charging, lowering his horn. fainted after hit returnedreleased uses Tail Whip and Horn Attack

Gligar was happy that he had defeated one Pokémon already but soon another one came, bigger and stronger than the previous. This one was wagging it's tail around (OOC: Does Rhyhorn even have a tail) which distracted Gligar who began to follow it... Suddenly, it began to swing it's horn right into Gligar's stomach and he felt the entire impact of the hit. It hurt him like crazy, and his Leftover was not enough to recover most of what he had lost... Gligar was hurt, and very angry but he had a trick card up his sleeve. It was an attack known as Aqua Tail. Water began to spiral around his tail as he aimed it right on the head of the Rhyhorn who had attacked him. If this hit it would be critical and very fatal for the Pokémon... That is, if it hit. (Weakening heavily) (Barely have 2 hits left in him) Hit by Tail Whip and Horn Attack. Used Aqua Tail on Rhyhorn [Score Count] Gligar defeated Lotad. +1 level for Lotad. +2 level for Gligar. +1 level for Bagon Gligar, Bagon (2), Stantler (11.5), Smeargle (12.5), Magby (8), Rattata (16), Diglett (11)

Aaron just stared as the aqua tail hit, sending Rade into the wall, making him faint. He quickly returned him. Damn, that guy was strong. And with a water move like that he would have gotten taken down anytime. He thinked. Lora and Rade was taken down. then, the next one he would send out was Kara. He let her out, saying commands instantly. Kara, use harden and ScratchKara`s shell shined with a metallic color before trying to strike the Gligar with her scratch. Level 7 Hit by Aqua tail fainted returnedLevel 7 released Used harden and scratch

[OOC: +1 level for Rhyhorn. +0 for Gligar because he is too strong] Sam was surprised and also elated to see that he had taken out the Rhyhorn that took it's place. In it's place was a Kabuto that instantly attacked Gligar the minute he was sent out. The Kabuto scratched Gligar in his tender spot which was just recently hit by Rhyhorn and Gligar fell to the ground. He had a very difficult time getting back up and Sam quickly returned him while admitting defeat at this part... What Sam threw out in his place was a questionable choice seeing how she was still so incredibly young... Fainted. [+1 level for Kabuto, +.5 for Lotad, +.5 for Rhyhorn, +1 Gligar] But she looked at Sam and gave him a nod as if she was ready to battle. And Sam took this sign and encouraged Toothless to fight. He nodded at Toothless and she quickly coughed up a perfectly materialized twister at the Kabuto. It was the first one she had used which was perfect and it came right at the ancient Pokémon. It was a very big tornado that would engulf the Pokémon if it hit and slash her to pieces if it hit... (Level 2) Used Twister on Kabuto Gligar, Bagon, Ledyba, Stantler, Smeargle, Poochyena, Rattata

Aaron blinked as the twister came. The way it was made was perfect. The twister hit Kara, sending her a little back. She looked at the Bagon. it did not look that strong. Kara, use Harden and Absorbonce again Kara`s shell were covered in a metallic color before it vanished, and she let the green orbs go at Bagon. Hit by Twister no flinch(blame die roller) used harden and Absorb)

Bagon was hit by green orbs which took a decent portion of her health but not enough for anything fatal. Yes she wasn't at a very strong level, but she was still able to withstand the very weak absorb attack... She had a natural strength against grass moves which further weakened the blast... Bagon returned the favor by sending a second twister at the direction of the Kabuto. He gust of wind went right after the fossil Pokémon in an attempt to blow it out and knock it down completely. It wasn't super strong, but Sam hoped it was strong enough to take out this Kabuto... Hit by Absorb. Not Very Effective. Used Twister on Kabuto Gligar (12.5), Bagon (2), Stantler (11.5), Smeargle (12.5), Magby (8), Rattata (16), Diglett (11)

Aaron smiled. the twister could not send Kara into the ceilling, as she were always holding herself close to the ground. But it would still do damage. And the Absorb were not effective. Then he had to keep using Harden to keep her defense up. As the twister hit, Aaron remembered the chance of flinching. But it seemed like it did not happen this time either. He yelled out commands again. Kara, use Harden and ScratchKara once again made her shell shine in a metallic color, before it vanished. Then she rushed forward, swinging her claws at the Bagon Hit by twister No flinch Used Harden and scratch

Bagon was hit by the claws of the Kabuto which did a decent amount to Toothless... She began to get very weak and very faint so she decided that it was time for her to go on the offense... And the best way she knew how to do this was use another twister. She was very smart although very young. She could tell by looking at Kabuto's hardened shell that her thrash would be more detrimental to her than her Twister... And thus she decided to go with that.
She whipped up a whirlwind and sent it at Kara. She hoped this one would finally be enough to take down the pokemon but that did not look too likely... Still, she hoped and Sam hoped also. Sam wanted to see Toothless take down a stronger opponent, it would mean so much for his pokemon.
::Bagon:: (Weak) Hit by Scratch. Used Twister
[OOC:] Harden raises your defense, not your special defense. It does not give you an advantage over a move like Twister which is a special attack. Hope you are keeping that in mind. Then again, you are a lot stronger than Bagon (in terms of level) so you are doing great!

Aaron wondered how strong that Bagon was. It could not be that strong. Earlier it had barely made a twister. He wathced as the twister hit Kara, but it did not cause her to flinch this time either. He were lucky today. He gave the same two orders. Harden and scratchKara let the mettalic color sink into her shell before she moved forward, striking at the Bagon with her claws. Hit by Twister no flinch Used Harden and Scratch((and yes i know it raises defende not SP.defense. but you never know...))

When the claws hit Bagon a second time he began to wince in pain and he had weakened heavily from the attack. Bagon was beginning to feel very faint but he was not going to give up yet. He was going to try one final attack to eliminate the Kabuto hopefully... Or else he would faint trying...
Bagon began to suck in a lot of air and released a full blast of water. Sam was impressed and saw this as a very encouraging sign as he was not able to release this much water before, but now here Bagon was... Releasing a blast of water instead of just a big water bubble at the Kabuto.
He hoped that the power of this attack would finally end this battle once and for all. But the problem was also that it had a very low accuracy so he had to watch out for that...
::Bagon:: (Very weak) Hit by Scratch. Used Hydro Pump on Kabuto.

Aaron watched as the Bagon fired off a hydro pump. The power was amazing. But sadly, it did not go for Kara. No, it hit the wall to Kara`s left, making a hole. Aaron stared at it. He then blinked and looked at the Bagon. he had to take it down. Kara, use Harden and ScratchKara waited for the metallic color to vanish into her shell once again and swiped her claws at the bagon. And after the hits from before this or the next one could be the finishing attack. Hydro pump missed one of 3 misses used Used Harden and Scratch
