This was certainly an interesting day, she had to admit. First Nincada and Oddish, and now bird pokemon fighting over a popcicle? It almost seems like a bunch of children playing and fighting with each other. At least this all gave her something to do, and made her feel needed. Um… What should I do?... Blaze stepped forward, growling at the birds. Don’t suck us down into your problem, the two of you can solve your dilemma on your own time. We don’t need to listen to you two flying rats. The Growlith barked at the Pidgey and Spearow. Rebecca stepped back as the Spearow and Pidgey approached the two trainers, ready to attack. B-Blaze, use ember on the Spearow! Rebecca called out to her pokemon, her eyes wide open, and her mind sharp as a tack. Used ember on Spearow.

It wasn't exactly what the Pidgey nor Spearow were expecting, but they suddenly saw themselves getting into a battle here. The Pidgey was scratched at by a mean Nidoran before it took offense and decided to get revenge on the pokemon. The Nidoran had screwed Pidgey right in it's wing which left a bruise and hurt a bit. He was very frustrated at the attack and decided to make his round at the Nidoran. >You're going to hurt me? Let me see how you like this then!< He screamed before he threw sand at the Nidoran and mixed it up with a gust of wind that both flew directly at the Nidoran. It was meant to throw the pokemon off and also slash at it... Pidgey then got angry again. >First you don't give me the popsicle, and now you attack me? You will pay for this... You will pay...< He began to say. Spearow on the other hand saw Rebecca send an ember at him. It hit the bird and caused him to feel inflamed. >Oh you are going to attack too? Okay... I see how it is.< He said, angry that he was also attacked as he thought Pidgey getting attacked meant he was right. He gave the Growlithe and Nidoran a very mean leer before he began to jab his beak at the dog. He sent four consecutive jabs at the Growlithe... One after the other as he tried to really damage the dog who had decided to attempt to set him on fire with an ember. ::Pidgey:: Hit by Scratch. Used Sand Attack and Gust on Nidoran
::Spearow:: Hit by Ember. Used Leer on both and Fury Attack (X4) on Growlithe

When the growlithe attacked the spearow, Vio just turned and look at the trainer. Was she helping her? She rose a brow. Ruby did not have to help her, but Vio felt a bit grateful. Suddenly, the faint image of the two of them shopping at some swanky place, and getting cappucinos at the cafe. Then she realized, this girl might be psycho like everyone else, and it was silly to think such ways!
Vio looked back to her Nidoran, who had growled at the pidgey for throwing sand in her eye, and if matters were not worse, a large gust of wind hit Alexiane. It was quite frosty and she did not enjoy it. Vio called out an attack, "Ugh, scratch that damn thing!" Blindly, she jumped up in the air to try to scratch the pidgey again. Estelle was still warm and comfy in Vio's arms.

OOC: I just saw my Growlith doesn't have ember... I should probably remember Blaze's move set. I'm sorry if my previous post causes a problem.
IC:
The Spearow shot a mean glare at Blaze, showing he meant business, or that he was aggravated from being attacked. The Spearow then lunged at Blaze, pecking him multiple times, jabbing his beak into his sides and back. Vio turned around, glancing at Rebecca for a moment, before setting her attention onto Nidoran again, giving it a command. Huh? Did I do something? Rebecca gave a blank look at Vio's back, wondering why she looked at her.
Blaze, use Bite on that bird! Rebecca called out, hoping the fury attack didn't do much to her companion. I wonder which would be a better pokemon, a Pidgey, or a Spearow?... She thought for a moment, wondering if she should catch one of them.

{ Spearow } Hit by Bite Peck on Growlithe
| { Pidgey } (Attack -1) Hit by Scratch --> CRITICAL Uses Sand Attack + Gust on Nidoran (Gust does not activate Poison Point)
|
The Pidgey looked at the Nidoran curiously, discombobulated as it thought about what the hell she was doing. Did she actually think that she was frightening? He cawed in laughter, enjoying such a thought. His feathers bristled as she made contact with him, scratching him with those short yet sharp claws. A small drop of blood was drawn, and instantly he was filled with rage. <My look!> He exclaimed in distaste, knowing that Pokemon were bound to ask him about that injury. How annoying!
He flicked his wings to the ground, kicking up a blinding Sand Attack to create a cover for his next strike. He hopped around the Nidoran, trying to kick up a much stronger Gust while she was distracted with the sand.
The Spearow jumped up from the pain of the Bite, having flapped his wings a bit too wildly and managed to get his wing chomped on. With an obnoxious squawk, he hissed at the guttersnipe that dared to do that to him. <Fool.> He grunted, right before aiming a Peck at the Growlithe's snout.

Again, the pidgey had used the same tactic as before and the Nidoran fell for it, but this time covered her eyes so the sand would not get into them as badly as before. She felt the gust around her body, and she was lifted off of the ground. She began to flail until the gust had subsided, and she fell to the ground. Vio sighed, "Shake it off, shake it off...just scratch the bitch." With her blurry vision, Alexiane lunged towards the pidgey, claws at the ready.
Vio looked over at Rebecca. Hm, it seemed like they were fighting together. "Did you just get your pokemon?" She asked. Vio remembered her first battle...with a trainer. That was how she lost her pants, but she did not want to get into that story with her. "You battle quite...well." Vio commented. Eh, the girl did nothing to her, plus compliments were nice.

~Rebecca Wheeler~ That Pidgey seemed to be pretty annoying, at least, the tactic. Sand-Attack followed with gust. Not a bad combination, but it would be rather frustrating to fight against, she could figure. Even Vio seemed to be frustrated with the tactic, she was even swearing. Maybe if Blaze finished off the Spearow before the Pidgey was defeated, they could gang up on the Pidgey. The Spearow pecked at Blaze’s nose, causing it to jump back in pain. >Ow ow ow... The things I do for love.< Blaze shook his head for a moment, before growling at the flying rat again, barking several times. Blaze, use bite on one of the wings of Spearow! Blaze lunged forward, aiming to clamp down on the left wing. Huh? My Growlith? Vio turned around again, asking her if she had just gotten her Pokémon. Uh, yeah, I just left the lab a while ago… Vio said she battled well, but did she really? She had only battled a few times before, but that was just for fun. Thank you, I’ve only battled a few times before though with other people pokemon… I’m not all that great to you, I’m sure… Well it’s probably true anyway, right?! Used bite on Spearow

{ Spearow } Hit by Bite Peck on Growlithe
| { Pidgey } (Attack -2) Dodges and uses Tackle on Nidoran
|
Looks as if the blurry vision didn't help the Nidoran's cause to scratch at him, because it completely missed. The growl didn't go unnoticed, but the Pidgey wasn't focusing all on that. Only a Double Rainbow would've broken him out of his intense concentration in the battle. <A good look for you.> The Pidgey huffed, knowing that a girl's looks happened to be a very sensitive area. Insulting it would surely get a reaction out of her.
<You deserve this.> The Pidgey chuckled through deep breaths, trying to get enough fresh air into him as his lungs ached from the physical activity. He didn't waste any time flying into the air, choosing to just ram into her for a simple strike.
<Love? I know what you mean. My love for food is PRETTY POWERFUL RIGHT NOW.> The Spearow angerly cawed at the Pidgey as the Growlithe jumped back, getting just enough time to send the bird a glare. The Bite attack caught him off guard and trapped him in the Growlithe's jaws, feeling nothing but pain in that limb. Deciding to repeat the attack over again, he hopped up closer to the Growlithe's forehead and tried to peck at the very center of it.

The girl had just gotten her Pokémon? "You're shittin' me," She said. Maybe Vio was always a horrible trainer, since she always got her ass kicked by other trainers; however, she did not want to relive those moments. She looked onward, biting her lip as the pidgey dodged Alexiane's attack. It lunged towards the nidoran, and hitting her upon contact.
Alexiane was forced backwards onto her rump. She shook her head, trying to get the remaining sand off of her. "Quick, attack that bitch while she's close," Alexiane rubbed her eye with a stubby paw, careful not to scratch herself in the process. Now that she could see clearer, she charged forward, aiming to scratch the "bitch" Vio was talking about.

~Rebecca Wheeler~ Did she say something wrong? Vio turned her head back, it seemed like she swore under her breathe too. Rebecca gave a blank, clueless look at her before focusing on the Spearow. What should I do…? Rebecca’s eyes fluttered, watching the Spearow peck at her Growlith, and the Pidgey use gust on Alexiane again. Should she catch the Pidgey, or finish of the Spearow first? Rebecca held her head for a moment, planning what to do. Uhh… Eh…. Blaze, bite the Spearow again while your close, this time go for the body! Rebecca lifted the pokeball from earlier, still in her hand. Vio, if you don’t mind, can I go ahead and try and catch the Pidgey? She walked up to Vio, standing next to her now. We can switch off, you fight the Spearow, and I’ll fight the Pidgey? Rebecca observed both Alexiane and Blaze as they fought, pondering a thought for a moment, before looking back to Vio. Hit by Peck / Used bite on Spearow.

The pidgey tried to back off from the claws of the Nidoran, but it were to fast. It hit his other wing! First one of them, and then the other?! That was an outrage. He almost lost focus! But he got back up when he heard the trainer talk about switching opponents.
there shall be none of that!
The pidgey yelled, going down near the ground, using his feet to kick up sand at the Nidoran, before flapping his wings fast, creating a Gust.
The Spearow on the other hand were to busy looking at the Growlithe biting him! That did indeed hurt! He was about to pay back double, but something made him FLINCH! That was his most unlucky time for now. How could he flinch at a time like this?

With a puzzled expression, Vio looked at the girl. Switch opponents? That seemed rather inconvenient and silly, but hey, whatever floats her boat! Alexiane was hit by the sand attack and gust combo as well, but she covered her face. This was getting old, and she knew was what coming. Vio turned to Rebecca, "If you insist" were her only words.
"Quick, Alexiane! Growl, then double kick that spearow. We're switchin' it up," Vio called out to Alexiane, and she turned back, almost confused as to why they were switching opponents. She shrugged, and jumped over the spearow so that Alexiane got the opposite end than Blaze's. She growled just before turning around and kicked out her back legs at the flying pokemon, twice.

~Rebecca Wheeler~ It was probably a weird kind of question, she didn’t doubt that. Vio gave Rebecca a puzzled expression, but Rebecca smiled stupidly. Sorry for such a weird question. She watched Alexiane jump over the Spearow and deliver its Double Kick move to the Spearow. {b]Wow, that was nice,[/b] she whispered to herself. Rebecca’s best bet was to probably hit the Pidgey hard and take it out quick to catch it, and that was what she planned to do. Blaze, we’re switching opponents, use Double Edge on the Pidgey and hit it hard! The Growlith exchanged glances with Rebecca, dumbfounded for a moment. >We’re what?< Blaze looked back to the Pidgey, who was now alone. For the moment that was. As the Nidoran jumped over the Spearow, Blaze made a mad dash toward Pidgey, tackling it as hard as he could, hurting himself in the process. Used Double Edge on Pidgey/ Hurt from recoil.

The Spearow saw two legs coming right at him and they hit him one after the other. The attack was not the most pleasant but he wasn't going to give in to the pokemon just yet. He charged forward at the Nidoran once more with his beak sharpened and he attempted to peck at the pokemon once more. >You will attack me? I hope you like being pecked to death!< He said. Although if this attack connected, he would feel the consequences of it with the poison point of the Nidoran. On the other hand, the Pidgey saw a very reckless Growlithe run at him with full strength and it almost knocked him tumbling over with a powerful Double Edge. This annoyed the Pidgey and also hurt it greatly. He angrily gave the Growlithe a nasty look before he sent a gust of wind at the pokemon. >How do you like being attacked? It isn't fun is it!< He said as he sent the wind flying towards the Growlithe... ::Pidgey:: (WEAK) (-3 attack) Hit by Double Edge and Growl. Used Gust on Growlithe
::Spearow:: (WEAK) (-1 attack) Hit by Double Kick and Growl. Used Peck on Nidoran*
* = if connected. Poison point will poison the Spearow*

The peck attack hit Alexiane pretty hard, and now she was incredibly weak. She panted lightly, but she still wanted to fight and keep at it. Estelle, who was still warm and cozy in Vio's arms shifted a little. She was a bit uncomfortable with how Alexiane was faring, and would jump into battle if she needed to, but Vio looked down at her buneary, "Don't worry, we got this."
Vio looked towards Rebecca, "Weird question? Nah, that pidgey is annoying." She looked back at her nidoran. "Scratch it, Alexiane," Vio called out, and the nidoran mustered up her last bit of strength to thrust her arm forward, aiming to scratch the damn thing and hopefully defeat it once and for all. Then, she would take a nap or something.

Growlith was indeed hurt a lot, and from using that double edge move, it didn’t help him much at all. >These bird pokemon are bugging me. They are very immature.< Blaze barked several times before getting hit by a strong gust of wind that sent him on his back. >Eh, this is getting bad.< Blaze rolled onto his feet again, ready to attack. Blaze, out of the way, this one is mine! Rebecca juggled the ball in her hand, desperately trying not to mess up, or miss the Pidgey completely. Blaze looked back to Rebecca, puzzled by what she meant. He jumped back from the Pidgey when he saw the pokeball though and it all became clear to him. She pulled her arm back, and threw it at the Pidgey. Hit by Gust/ jumped back/ Rebecca used pokeball

The Spearow was not in the greatest of states when he landed the attack. From it he also tasted some poison from the Nidoran and he felt that it had hit his system and he started to weaken a bit. He was too distracted by the poison that he did not notice the Nidoran coming after him with a scratch attack that was instantly powered up because they were of the same sex. The attack hit the Spearow and he felt himself weakening greatly. His head was shaking terribly after the attack as he found himself getting rather dizzy from the poison and now from the scratch. He fell to the ground, too exhausted to attack this turn but too stubborn to give up. He wasn't going to give in without a fight. (POISONED) (VERY WEAK) Poisoned by Poison Point. Hit by Scratch. Too weak to fight back The Pidgey on the other hand, noticed the Growlithe move out of the way as a pokeball hit him. He tried as hard as he could to resist the capture and shook his body violently to prevent himself from falling victim of the pokeball. But it was simply too strong and he felt that he was powerless and could not stop it at all. The ball eventually seized moving and the Pidgey found himself a victim of the trainer now. Congrats you caught a Pidgey! Gender: Male Level: 9 Moves: Gust, Tackle, Sand Attack Ability: Keen Eye, Tangled Feet Growlithe gains +1 level for the battle. Nidoran gets +0.5 levels for battle [OOC: I think you gave it a good enough battle to warrant this. Especially since you are in such a lower level]

The buneary stopped squirming when she saw that the spearow was incredibly weak too. Vio looked down, "Chill, we'll be fine," and Estelle only made herself more comfortable in her trainers arms. Alexiane panted for a moment, leering at the flying pokemon with hateful eyes. All the nidoran wanted to do was take a nap in her warm, cozy ball, but she knew she was not done yet.
"You know what? Double kick, Alexiane," Vio called out, forgetting about her pokemon's newly learned move. The nidoran took in one long breath, and turned quickly so that she faced away from the spearow. She kicked both of her legs up, aiming to hit it with all of her strength. Vio then looked at the girl, and noticed that she had acquired a new pokemon, "Hopefully it listens to you." There was a bit of sarcasm in her voice, and a little back-story behind it. Just because one captures a pokemon does not mean it will be loyal.

The Spearow raised his head weakly from where he laid, his vision bleary and his head swimming. The bird Pokemon felt sick with naseau in trying to even raise his head. His eyes spotted the figure of the female Nidoran kick at him with her back legs. His brain screamed at his body to move out of the way, yet strength failed to even move an inch. His eyes shut tightly as the force of the kick sent the bird flying back. The blow already knocked the bird Pokemon unconscious as he sailed across the air before landing pitifully limp on the ground, defeated.

~Rebecca Wheeler~
Rebecca watched as the pokeball shook as the Pidgey struggled to free itself. But when the ball ceased to shake, it was like a small victory for herself and a step toward her goal. For some reason, she felt bitter sweet though. Rebecca gave a weak smile, her eyes empty. Rebecca got down on her knees, calling her Growlith to come to her, and to bring the pokeball as well. He barked happily, and joyfully obliged. Blaze picked up the ball with his mouth, avoiding the center button on the ball with great caution.
>Aye, ma'am. Here you are< Blaze set the red and white ball at her knee's, looking up to Rebecca. Good boy, Blaze. That was very nice. Rebecca continued to smile half heartedly, petting her pokemon's warm fur. Rebecca turned to watch the last few moments of Vio's battle, as the Spearow went sailing in the air. Wow, that Nidoran is pretty good. She muttered to herself. Rebecca picked up the pokeball, and walked back to Vio.
Vio commented on Rebecca's new Pokémon. She sounded like she meant the opposite of what she said, implying that the Pidgey wouldn't listen to her, but she caught it and that should mean it will listen to her, right? If it doesn't listen, I guess the Pokémon will have to learn to, I guess, right? Rebecca looked to Vio, still wearing her half smile.
