He would always have time for a little relaxation at the lounge. He had no issues pausing his journey to come here for a little while. But perhaps paradoxically, it was to get a little training in against another trainer. Some trainer with perhaps a little more meat on his bones than those who stalked the routes and never seemed to want to move on with their journey. He lounged against one of the walls just within the threshold of the lounge. His shoulders propped up against the wall and his legs streached out at a slight angle in order to keep him pressed up against the wall and prevent him from slipping down. He was dressed a bit more flamboyant than the status quo allowed. His black jeans were skinny jeans, the stitching a red rather than black or some neutral color. He had on a black tank top, with one thin white butler's glove on his left hand and an assortment of silver jewelry on his right hand. He only shifted occasionally in order to keep his balance, but he'd decided to linger in his spot until the receptionist sent an opponent in for him.

Amber walked in the Verona lounge once again. It's been a while since she was last here. Maybe a battle or two would get herself going. Some of her Pokémon really needed levels as well. Poor Dewy, he was still the baby of the group. She frowned at this thought. She walked onwards in hopes of finding a tough training partner.
She walked past the entrance and went to the rooms. She pushed her black bangs out of her face as she swung her bag over her shoulder. "Hmm, who to battle." She said to herself. Amber then noticed a teen leaning against the wall, looking bored out of his mind. She smirked. Well, here we go. She walked over and held out a Pokeball. "Hey, wanna battle?" She asked.

Raff lifted himself off of the wall as Amber walked towards him, her question causing a wide smile to appear on his face as he brushed some of his blond hair out of his eyes. "Sure." He answered, reaching into his pocket to pull out the 5 poke'balls that held his poke'mon, holding them in between his two hands, still shrunked to conserve space. "I don't have a full team yet... would you mind a smaller battle?" He asked calmly, shifting four of the balls into his left hand, and expanding the one still in his right hand to full size expectantly. |

Amber smiled as the ten accepted her challenge. After she heard he didn't have a full team she shrugged. "Sure, doesn't bother me. How about a double battle then? Four Pokémon each? That would make things a lot more fun!" She exclaimed. She jumped backwards without waiting for an answer and threw two Pokeballs out on the field. The Pokeballs released two Pokémon. One being a Poochyena, however, his coat was different than others. Instead of a grey his was a golden color. He wagged his tail and howled happily. The other Pokeball released a dragon. A Bagon stood beside Fang and roared. He punched the air with his small hands and readied himself to attack.
<Oh yeaaaah! Battle time!> Theseus exclaimed happily. Fang sat down on his hind legs and rolled his eyes at the dragon. <It's a double battle you idiot. It means we work together.> Theseus raised an eyebrow at Fang and scoffed. <What ever, it's still a battle!> He said. Fang rolled his eyes and waited for some commands from Amber. She smiled at Raff and adjusted her cap on her head. "Ready?" She asked.

Alright, they had a battle going! "Doubles is perfect." Raff chimed in happily, already shifting another poke'ball next to the expanded one so that two expanded balls were sitting in. He slipped the rest of his poke'balls into his pocket. With a flick of his wrist he tossed the two expanded balls out onto the battle field. As the light faded a pair of poke'mon were left standing on the field. One, a white poke'mon, a Snover. Immediately hail began to pound the arena as he entered it. The second poke'mon appeared to be a lillypad, a Lotad. She frowned slightly, and glanced back at Raff as if saying 'really? a battle?' She didn't seem too keen on battling, but took her place beside the Snover, wincing as she was hit by his hail. Raff took up his position behind them. With a slight gesture of his hand towards his opponent he smiled and spoke. "Ladies first."

"Why thank you." Amber said with a mock bow. She then looked at the two Pokémon out on the field. A Lotad and Snover, Amber had the Pokémon type advantage with Fang's move, however, this meant nothing compared to levels at time. Just time to wing it! Then, the hail started to come down. Theseus was running around like an idiot and then quickly hid behind Fang. <Hey, what's with the hail?!> he exclaimed. Fang was pelted with the hail and snarled at Theseus. <What do you think, idiot? It's a hailstorm!>
Amber shook her head and placed her cap to cover her eyes from the hail. "Alright, Fang use Howl and Iron Tail on that Snover!" She commanded. Fang jumped away from the Bagon and ran at the Snover. He Howled, raising his spirit and attack and then his tail started glowing. Turning from gold to white, he jumped in the air and spun, hoping to hit the Snover with Iron Tail.
"Theseus, use Dragon Claw!" She called to her Bagon. Theseus scoffed and instead of using Dragon Claw used Shadow Claw. His hand became coated in a odd dark light, then it expanded into a large claw. He ran at the Lotad and slashed at it. Amber slapped her forehead and groaned. When would he start listening to her?

He didn't have the level advantage, and his foe had some type advantages over his poke'mon. At least over Snover. Tyrric was stuck hard by the iron tail, the steel attack seriously draining his health, especially from the higher-leveled poke'mon. He wanted to react instantly against Fang, but Raff called out. The trainer was determined to get the poke'mon to work with him, and with Tango the Lotad. "Tyrric. Powder Snow on Bagon. Tango, use Nature Power on the Bagon too." Tango had also been struck by the attack against her, the Bagon's dark claws sliding across her lilypad "hat". She whimpered fearfully, but mustered the stength to start forming an attack. She opened her mouth and the white glow of a nature power attack started forming. It became a Tri-Attack because of the environment, a building, and the white light became three orbs of blue, red, and yellow. All three rushed out at the Bagon. At the same time Tyrric, begrudgingly, let loose a powder snow attack at the small blue dragon who was attacking his teammate.

Amber shivered. Instead of the battling heating up, due to the Snover's ability it was getting colder. Theseus withstood the Powder Snow, because of his type the attack did some hard damage. The icy made his skin crawl, then a tri attack came at him. The 3 types of elements rushed at him, knocking him backwards. He landed on his back and groaned.
Fang looked back at his teammate and snickered. <Aw, what's wrong? Losing your battle touch?> He teased. Theseus snarled as he got back to his feet. <Oh shut up, pup.> He said. Amber looked at the two Pokémon before them. The Snover seemed weakened by the Iron Tail, which meant Fang could go after someone else now. "Fang, use Howl and Poison Fang!" She commanded.
Normally Poochyena's didn't know these moves, however, this was no normal Poochyena. Beside from color he had some move set on him. He was hurt by the hail as he ran at the Lotad. He howled, getting his attack up before his fangs drooled with poison and glowed a odd purple. Thankfully this did not affect him like it would the Lotad if it hit. He tried to come close, than atempted to chomp down on the lily pad Pokémon.
"Theseus, use Dragon Claw!" Amber said, hoping he would listen to her this time. Thankfully, he did. Theseus snarled as the hail pelted him as he ran. His hand being covered in a light as he slashed at the Snover, he hoped this would do enough damage like Fang was able to. He wasn't about to let some pup take his spot light.

The Bagon would be disappointed. His attack wouldn't carry a type advantage as Fang's had, and the two were closer in level than Tyrric was to Fang. The effect on him was less dramatic. He recoiled in pain, glaring at the Bagon angrily. His body was shaking slightly, clearly over-worked from this battle, on the brink of fainting at any second. Without waiting for Raff's command, he immediately fired another Powdered Snow at the Bagon, wanting to get in a close-range attack before Theseus could move away from him or before Tyrric himself collapsed from exhaustion.
At the same time all of that was happening, Tango was dealing with the puppy. The mean, poisonous puppy apparently. She yelped as her lily pad was bitten into, although she was spared from the poison for now the damage done to her was great. It didn't help she was also being pounded by hail from her teammate. Shaking her body, trying to get Fang off of her she started to panic. Raff called out from the side-lines. "Tango, use an absorb." But Tango was too panicked to listen to the command. Instead she managed something of an astonish attack, whipping her body around and trying to strike Fang while shouting and making a whole lot of noise.

Theseus gasped as the blast of icy cold snow whacked him head on. The attack had knocked him out completely, being a dragon and all ice didn't like him much. Amber returned him to his Pokeball and placed him away. She then took another one and threw it on the field. After catching the Pokeball, a Seel stood beside Fang. He barked happily and slapped his tail on the ground.
Fang spitted out the Lotad after the attack had hit him. He spatted out. <Ew, you taste gross...> he commented. Seel crawled his way to Fang. "Dewy, Iron Tail on that Snover! Fang, Howl & Poison Fang again!" Amber cried out.
Dewy crawled his way over to the Snover, barking as the hail whacked him one. His tail glowed white as he turned and tried to smack the Snover into the ground. Fang did his combo again, raising his attacka nd then trying to chomp down on the Lotad's body with his poison fangs.

Tyrric was practically fainting before Dewy reached him. The smack from the iron tail sent him flying backwards and to the ground. He didn't bother to get up. He just shut his eyes and decided a rest would be nice. (+1 to Tyrric, Fainted Poke'mon. +1 to Dewy, Fainting Blow. +.5 to Fang, Assist.) Raff recalled Tyrric, another poke'ball ready in his hand. The hail faded from the field. He tossed the poke'ball and a small Bonsai poke'mon appeared.
The Bonsly eagerly rushed foreword to join the Lotad in battle. Tied against his back in some sort of sling was a brown plate, a fist plate that increased the power of his fighting-type attacks. Firenze leapt up as he ran over. Raff's voice egging him on from behind. "Low Kick!" The Bonsly shifted in air, putting one of his small feet foreword to kick the Poochyena who was currently nomming Tango.
Tango was again struck by the Poison Fang attack. The increased power behind it stinging her flesh, poison leaking into her body and beginning to drain her health, bringing her close to the brink. She was still panicking too, her mouth opening and a ball of white light formed, which again changed into the three primary colors. They blasted upwards, towards the ceiling. All three arched and came downwards, all three elements aiming to rain down upon Fang.

The barrage of attacks came on so quickly. Fang had no chance, first the Tri attack. The three elements whacked him back where he stumled and was hit by the Bonsy's Low Kick. He fell over on his back and that was the end of this battle for Fang. He laid there, groaning and howling quietly.
Amber smiled and returned him to his Pokeball. "Good job, Fang." She said, placing his Pokeball away. Then, she pulled out her last one for this battle. It would have to be a good one. She threw the ball into the field, releasing her last Pokemon. A Buizel stood before Amber and Dewy. "Buiii." He cried. She already used four Pokemon while the other had only 3. She had to figure out something or she was done for.
"Dewy, Percy, all attacks on that Bonsy! Use Water Gun and Iron Tail!" She commanded her duo of water types. Dewy splashed around and turned his back on the Bonsy. He then slapped down hard in hopes of hitting the rock type with Iron Tail. Percy jumped at the chance and shot a blast of icy cold water towards the Bonsy, if they could take him out at least then all they have to worry about was a Lotad and whatever his fourth Pokemon was.

Tango suddenly, because of the poison in her already weakened system, fell over onto her side. The lily pad poke'mon collapsed from only her own exhausted and the effects of poison in her body. She couldn't keep fighting. Raff was forced to recall her. Firenze took a beating on his own. To begin with, the Seel clubbed the poor rock type with her iron tail, a super effective move against his type. As he stumbled backwards the Buizel's water gun made contact and blasted him back into the wall with a loud 'thud'. Firenze sat on the ground in pain, unable to get up. Two super effective attacks in a row was easily enough to knock him out of it. Raff recalled him. Down to his last poke'mon he took out his favored poke'ball and tossed it up, letting his Pidgey out into the battle.
The under-leveled lying type circled above the two water types. "Sand attack! Then use tackle on one of them." Aella would have a better idea of which one would be easier to tackle and Raff trusted her. Putting on her bravest face she dove down, dragging one wing along the dust and dirt of the floor, kicking sand and dirt towards the two water-types. Still zooming along the ground she straightened out, propelling herself like a torpedo towards Dewy's body.

The Sand-Attack had gotten in Percy's eyes. He staggered backwards and tried to wipe it out. He shook his head and readied his fists. "Buii!"
Dewy yelped and tried to crawl away from the Pidgey coming in on him. He yelped as he was tackled into the wall, he slammed head first into it and groaned. He lifted his head and groaned. <Ouch...>
Amber smirked to herself. Alright, she had only one Pokemon to take out. "Dewy, use Headbutt! Percy, use Sonicboom!" She commanded her two water types. Dewy crawled from his spot in the wall and started to charge at the Pidgey. He lowered his head and tried to ram himself into the bird Pokemon. Percy jumped in the air, spinning while he was in the air a sonicboom was unleashed from his tail. Zooming towards the Pidgey, the two attacks were gonna hurt if they hit.

Both trainer and Pidgey were terribly panicked. Aella's was much more noticeable as she she flew a seemingly frantic and desperate flight path around the battle field. Raff was tense, and someone near enough to him could probably hear his heart beating, trying to escape his chest. Aella was first hit with the Sonicboom, it was enough to knock her out of the air and send her tumbling to the ground... where she was pounded with a headbutt from the Seel. She called out in pain, forcing her bruised and battered wings to flap and pull herself off of the ground and into the air. "Another sand attack. You won't stand a chance if they can easily hit you. Then tackle the Buizel." Spread the love around. Aella lowered herself to the ground and found it easy to kick up more dirt and dust in her panicked state. Once she was satisfied with the level of dust in the air, she propelled herself foreword and towards the bright orange Buizel, body braced for a tackle attack.

Percy and Dewy's sight were almost blinded by the Sand-Attack. Dewy rubbed his eyes trying to get it out while Percy was staggering backwards. Due to his lack of sight right now he didn't see the incoming Pidgey come out and attack him. He was pushed backwards but somehow managed to keep himself standing. Amber smiled. "Alright! Percy, Sonicboom again! Dewy, use Iron Tail on the Sonicboom!" She commanded, giving Raff a bit of her coordinator side.
Percy jumped in the air and twirled around, sending a Sonicboom downward towards Dewy. His tail glowed as he whacked it, sending a new powerful Sonicboom at the Pidgey.

Aella was beginning to stress herself out. Although she was actually rather full of energy, the idea of taking on two foes at the same time was beginning to stress her out. In her panicked, sloppy, state she wasn't able to avoid the enhanced sonicboom. Although her previous turns using sand attack did help her to avoid being hit head on with the blast of energy. It clipped her side and she was forced to land roughly on the ground, or else crash into the ground. She was panting, eyes locked on her foes. "Keep kicking up sand and dirt Aella." She needed the cloaking bad. She took off into the air again, using her wings and feet to send more dirt and dust towards the pair of water-types. Then, flying through her cloud of dust, she made a bee-line towards Percy, the brighter poke'mon was easier to spot in her dust cloud than Dewy was.

Percy was rather nimble and swift. His eyes were blinded by the sand-attack but he perked his ears up. Hearing something come from behind he jumped in the air. Percy landed nicely on his feet and closed his eyes. What good were they anyways if he was blinded by the sand-attacks? Dewy closed his eyes when the sand-attack came. He was rather sad he wasn't attacked by the Pidgey. He cried out, using Growl, and tried to do it as loud as he could. Then, pushing his tail on the ground, make a beedrill line towards the Pidgey with a Headbutt.
Amber sighed and shook her head. Percy seemed to be blinded at the moment so she decided not to give him orders. Dewy however acted on his own out of his own will. She crossed her arms and shook her head with a smile on her face. Her Pokemon seemed to act on their own in these kind of times, she didn't mind it but she wanted to make sure it wouldn't become a habit.

Raff tried to keep his cool for his Pidgey. He knew she was going to lose this fight, she was tiring out before his eyes, but he was still so incredibly proud of her for putting up such a fight against two clearly well-trained poke'mon. "Brace yourself!" He called out as he saw the Seel attacking Aella. Already affected by the growl, and feeling less than willing to attack as hard, she was then bombed with the horned seal's headbutt. Pain radiated around her body and she whimpered slightly, each flap of her wings taking out some more energy. "Quick! Get in a tackle!" Raff suggested and Aella launched herself at half speed towards Dewy having finished his headbutt attack.

Percy did his best to rub the sand out of his eyes before shaking his head and looking to see what was happening. "Buiii!" Dewy on the other hand didn't see the incoming attacks. He was blinded by the Sandattack and then whacked backwards by the tackle. He panted heavily, beginning to weaken he shook his head. <Can't we be friends?> He asked in a small voice as he stood there for a second.
Amber stood her ground. OK, Dewy was beginning to weaken and Percy finally snapped out of it. "Percy, Water Gun on Dewy from behind!" Percy was confused by this command but did it anyways. He shot a blast of water from behind the seel and shot him towards the Pidgey. "Dewy, headbutt!" Dewy screamed out loud when he was shot across the field but lowered his head just in time as he was shot towards the Pidgey.
