Full Name:Alexandra Jo McKay
Gender:female
Age: 13, born August 22, 1997
Appearance: Alexandra, or AJ, is a fairly simple girl. She is about 5 feet at most, both her parents having been only a little taller, though she doesn't mind to much. She had once had long flowing hair, almost to her knees, but one day she decided 'hey, I would look pretty good with short hair!' And she got it cut, just about shoulder length. Almost a year later she cut it again, and it is now just to the base of her neck. Her once long hair is a dirty blonde color, with natural, lighter blonde streaks covering the top. She usually has it just brushed enough to look good, though she does like to curl it sometimes.
AJ usually wears nothing more fancy than a cute shirt and shorts or khakis in Summer, wearing pants in Fall, Winter, and early Spring. Her favorite color is blue, so her wardrobe consists of cute short sleeve shirts, often blue, though there are of course long sleeve shirts for winter. If she ever paints her nails, it is often silver or blue, and if she wears make up, it is usually simple, such as blue eyeshadow and mascara, maybe some lip gloss. AJ is about medium weight, and is fast, and fairly strong for her age. She also wears glasses, for her vision without them is just slightly blurred for she is far-sighted. Her skin is slightly tanned, and doesn't burn to easy.
Background: As long as AJ could remember, she had been able to understand Pokemon. Some said she was just imagining it, but as she grew older, she seemed to understand them better. AJ lived in a large house, with loving parents and an older sister. She had to admit, she was a bit spoiled, being the younger of the two by 8 years. When she was 5 years old, AJ had been given a tiny little Growlithe puppy. The tuft of light fur on his head was as crazy as the bunch of brown fur that covered the little ones body. The pup instantly attached to her like a pup to a mother almost because he was so young. Barely of his mothers milk, he was still to innocent to be mean. AJ named him Barley.
Since she got him, AJ and Barley were almost inseparable. They did just about everything together, always going to parks together, going out shopping together anywhere he was allowed, and more. Since she had her strange ability allowing her to understand and talk to Pokemon, she talked to Barley all the time. He was her best friend, the one she could talk too. As they grew older, the bond between them only tightened. As AJ grew, Barley grew. He was very big, but he still felt himself as a tiny pup that could lay in everyone's lap, though he now spills over each side of their legs. One day, AJ overheard her parents talking about getting rid of Barley. They thought their obsessed relationship was unnatural, and AJ needed to spend more time with her other friends too.
Devastated, AJ barged into the room, complaining and begging. But, no matter what, their mind was set. So, determined not to lose Barley, AJ declared she would start her Pokemon Journey. Her parents were thoughtful, and really agreed that is was part of most kids growing up now a day. So, they finally agreed to let her keep Barley and start. Very happy, AJ began packing some stuff, and carried a bag slung across her shoulder, with only the most important stuff in it. She tied a blue scarf around Barley's neck with a key chain glued onto it with the name 'Barley' wrote on it. She said her goodbye's, and was soon off, starting her journey.
Personality: AJ is a happy-go-lucky girl, if you summed her up. Always kind to any that approach her, she may seem a little rash to the ones that first meet her happy attitude. She opens up very quickly to people that seem shy or willing, be it an adult or kid like her. Though she may be very open, if its not her idea, she is absolutely reverse, getting angry easily and being very wary of the passerby. If you greet her with a rude comment or a bad attitude, her anger flares up like fire upon gas. If she meets you alone, maybe crying, she will come sit by you and say 'hey...it's ok' or 'whats wrong?' and she will listen until you finish, trying to give you some advise. She is also severely stubborn, and always wants the last word in everything, which gets her in trouble often.
Info: She is a pokemorph, kinda...well, she can understand Pokemon. Also, the Growlithe named Barley is who i want as her pre-starter.
