Eh, so she didn't remember being in a commercial? Susumu believed her well enough on that one, though this didn't make much sense in his head as he tried to eat a little of the food he had with him. It was always harder to eat when there was interesting conversation going on around, but he figured that maybe he should sit this one out and just listen from the background. Participating in this one only felt as if he'd make it more confusing than it really was. Oh, at least the bacon was good. Crisp and delicious; amazing little things, strips of fat that made the mouth happy but the body crappy. Still worth eating though, or at least chewing on as his stomach threatened him every other 5 minutes. As he nibbled on what he had in front of them, the conversation went on, catching his attention the entire time. Then a clue from last night--what? "Uh..." He frowned with a stupid expression plastered on his face after hearing the news. Did they really do that? The commercial was hilarious, but he had to wonder what stupidity encouraged them to even try that. "I have no idea." He was chuckling at the thought though, as the lady looked amused as she let the information settle in. Taking a few sips of her drink with a relieved sigh, she continued. "You were pretty loud in there...I'm pretty sure you were the Elvis that was blasting the Pokemon Theme Song." Now she was staring at Susumu with that coy smile, as if she knew everything about last night. It was enough to make Susumu nearly drop the spoon in his hand as he stared at her with a blush. "Wait, what? Really?" Oh god, he was singing? What devil encouraged this act to happen? Who heard? Who knew that it was him? What in the world happened? He was feeling a little scared now, glancing around at the other pedestrians in the vicinity to see if they were looking at him with knowing looks. None were actually paying attention to them, but he'd keep an eye out. "I-I'm so sorry." He gulped, earning a charming laugh from the lady at his modesty. "No, no. It was funny." That didn't make him feel any better about it though, knowing how terrible he was when it came to singing. When drunk? Oh god, not even picturing that one.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Well, Susumu wasn't really that much help with remembering last night, but that made it all the more interesting. She could try and fit what the lady was telling them together like puzzle pieces to figure out just what happened last night. All she knew right now, however, was that she and Susumu apparently 'advertised' using animal noises of all things. What a horrifying thought. Did she snort? She hoped she didn't snort. That would've been embarrassing. The lady suddenly commented on Susumu as well - wait. The Elvis singing the Pokemon Theme Song? The thought of Susumu of all people singing that caused Sierra to laugh, almost choking on the gulp of coffee she took in just then. He apologized, too, which meant that it did happen! "Dude, I need to hear that." She brought out her phone and checked her videos, but frowned with disappointment as she realized that she didn't record anything. "Awww, nothing." She groaned, disappointed in her drunk self for neglecting to think about how funny it would be to watch later. Ah well; there was a break in the conversation just then, allowing Sierra to stand up and get stuff for eating with. "Be right back." She said quickly before walking over to the long table and collecting fork knife spoon napkin and more napkin I don't want to use commas. While Sierra was gone, the lady smiled just a bit and leaned closer towards Susumu. "The last thing we heard from you guys last night was," She had to pause to laugh at the memory, "'Surprise sex!'" She tried to mimic Sierra's voice in that. "Got a little frisky in there, didn't ya?" She teased before noticing that Sierra was coming back. Said adolescent gave a smile to them before settling into her seat and cutting into the pancakes immediately. Commence eating, and wow it was so good. Then again, everything tasted good when you were hungry. Derp, she didn't know what they were talking about right then.

The moment Sierra said that, Susumu nearly dropped his spoon again as she searched through her phone. "No, wait. Delete it!" He winced at the thought of that being on video, and even worse, on Youtube. It was just something that made him dread being seen in public, especially if everyone knew about it. That being said, a video like that would hardly get more than 20 views, but still, he was exaggerating it all in his head. If she found something, then he would've made a grab for her phone in a heartbeat, but she confirmed with a sad face that the evidence all died. At least he could breathe easy there and continue eating, a little more at ease now that he could live knowing there wasn't video evidence of that crap. Sierra went off somewhere, leaving him with this nameless stranger as she continued to probe and tease him. He could only nervously eat and anticipate what she was going to bring up next. At the 'surprise sex' comment, he nearly choked on his cereal. Again. "Oh god, the phrase returns." He was thinking about how that guy on the elevator said that freaky phrase and it even sounded even more real now. She gave him a confused look for a second, before taking a stab at what he was getting at. "You remember more than you want her to believe." She giggled, amused at what she was watching, like a mini soap opera of some kind. "Eh? Nonono." He left the spoon in the bowl as he waved his hand dismissively at her, looking a little frustrated as he tried correcting her. "This big guy on the elevator looked at us and said it; I thought he was just being creepy." He said a bit bashfully, feeling bad about having judged him like that to someone that knew him. All he heard in response was a laugh and a slap on the feminine figure's knee, hearing nothing but amusement as he looked up with a startled expression. "That's Frank for ya. Hehe, my name is Iva, by the way." Sierra came back right in time to hear the names, earning a nod of greeting from the pair. Susumu was mostly relieved that Sierra hadn't heard that, but oh god what did it mean. He had no idea what it meant, but it made him hone in on his food as if it was the most interesting piece of art ever. That detail, yes oh yes, he saw it all. "I-I guess we'll never know what really happened last night." Susumu managed to say, finding all of these clues and hints a bit bewildering to go over. It just made him think something really nuts happened, and he could only see it as a bad thing.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra merely laughed at Susumu's protests to delete whatever evidence she had of that terribu night, only making her want to watch it more, but fate had other plans, it seemed. When it was discovered that she had no video of the singing, everyone was disappointed except Susumu. Such a derp. Sierra indeed came back just in time with her utensils to hear the names being named, realizing that the lady was introducing herself and.. some guy named Frank. "Who's Frank?" She inquired the lady as she sat down. "Ah, just a friend." Iva replied with a wave of her hand, wondering if they'd figure out that they were actually lovers instead. That would be funny. Sierra gave Susumu a glance as he had trouble with his words, remarking about last night. "Yeah..." She replied to him, grinning slightly. "We sure messed a lot of things up, though." She observed as she poured milk over her cereal. Then she picked up her spoon and started eating that, not wanting it to become soggy. Now that would just be gross. Iva stared at them as if scrutinizing them for a little bit before resuming whatever she had been doing previously. I don't want to think about that because it's late at night and I'm tired. Enjoy.

It was probably a good, quiet moment to eat what everyone could. With the delay, Susumu could already tell that his cereal was threatening to get as soggy as possible. He was easily able to eat it without his stomach murdering him, but when it came to the bacon and sausage he picked out, that was another story. He thought he'd be ok; heck, he felt more ok when the medicine was at its peak right now. A few bites of the greasy food in, and he had to just stop. In an attempt for relief, he shook his head and sipped at his drink, trying to wash the taste out of his mouth. Something about it was not agreeing with him, and a battle of law and order was kicking major ass inside of him. At least Iva wasn't bothering them too much, but she continued to have that lonely demeanor about her. It was as if she expected someone to come and join her, but she didn't get what she wanted. With some time to at least pick at her meal, she sat quietly as she debated leaving. The pair was awfully fun to tease, but it felt immature to keep picking on them when she wasn't the most innocent herself. "I think I'm being defeated." Susumu leaned back in his chair a little, giving up on even picking on the rest of his food. Was it even worth taking some out on the road? He hardly ate his leftovers from last time, so he figured it'd be better just to ditch the food. It was a waste either way, no matter what he did. "Regretting last night yet?" Iva decided to ask them, out of curiosity. Susumu blinked when he wondered if she took that as complaining, which it kind of was, but he was trying to act like it wasn't the worst either. "Not sure...I don't remember much." It was what he was hearing from everyone else that was bothering him, deciding that he could deal with a hangover. It wasn't so bad, and he could only imagine that they had fun last night. "Hearing about what happened from everyone else is what's bothering me." He chuckled, not even knowing what to make of the second-hand information.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra continued eating her food with surprising gusto, considering the feast they had last night. Her fast metabolism had a knack for boosting her hunger at odd times, like this one, but she was bound to get full before she finished. Despite taking small bites, she ate fast, easily consuming all of the cereal she got. But after that, she was half full, and the platter of pancakes, sausage, eggs, and biscuit was looking like a challenge. Despite that, she was able to continue through them, her stomach beginning to rebel. She took meds, but something told her that if she ate too much, she was bound to throw up, strong stomach or not. The eggs were demolished, but she'd barely bitten into the sausage and biscuit and the pancakes were barely halfway gone. She heard Susumu give up on his food like a borb. "Aww." She replied with disappointment, grinning slightly at the sheer amount of leftovers on his plate. So much bacon. So much. Bacon. So. Much. Meat. Sierra picked up her coffee and sipped to help breakfast go down, adoring the rich, creamy taste of it. It was just under the just-right temperature, but that was okay; it was still warm. "I regret nothing." She replied a bit dramatically to Iva, grinning slightly to show that she was just clowning around. They hadn't done anything irreversible, so that was fine - well, minus waking up in the same bed. But that couldn't have meant much according to their reasoning. "Yeah. I wonder if anyone else is involved." She added, snickering. Iva grinned at them, then decided that enough was enough. Her food was generally gone, so she stood up and picked up her tray. "Well, good luck with that. Don't eat the yellow snow and whatnot." Iva farewelled, nodding curtly at them before making her departure. "Bye!" Sierra replied before taking another sip of her coffee. "So um. Are we done? I could probably take this with me." She referred to her coffee, which was in a paper disposable cup. Easy to throw away later.

Thinking about anyone else being involved made Susumu want to block it out of his head and wrap the thought up in chains. It was not a pleasant train of thought; and it was probably best to forget about anyone that remembered what they did, just to let whatever happened yesterday stay hidden in the past. No need to bring it up again, nope. Iva was ready to leave, giving a farewell with a slightly disappointed look about how Frank didn't join her for breakfast. It had been fun messing around with the couple from last night at least. Susumu only nodded as she left, deciding that he had enough in him to sip some of his drink to at least savor it one last time. Ultimately he was done though, feeling like he couldn't bother with additional food without a riot starting inside of him. "I'm ready." It was a simple statement, but he was more focused on standing up and stretching, feeling an unnatural stiffness in his back that he wanted to get rid of. Sadly it stuck around, but he figured it would go away later. "I guess all we gotta do is get out of here." He mused, unable to think of anything else. How long had they been stuck in Verona? They failed to get out of here for 3 days, nice going. It was an awfully crazy adventure, that was for sure, but he was really starting to feel a little homesick for TD. Just a bit. With his tray in his hands, he spotted a little mechanical set up in the back that rotated into the kitchen. It was something to dump your crap on and leave, and the closer you got to it, the more obnoxious the scent of lemon scented soap became. Nose curled up in annoyance as he slipped his dishes on the rotating trays, he was pretty much ready to go. Jacket on, bag ready, he could leave this place without forgetting a thing. Unless you counted Sierra, because he totally would've forgotten Sierra. "We might be better off taking the bus to get out of here." He mused to Sierra as he waited, not wanting to go through the hassle of the city once more. It would be quicker this way; even though the passengers on the bus were usually quite quirky and questionable.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra sipped at her coffee cup anxiously after that remark about anyone else getting involved. Yeah, if that happened, they were probably in trouble. What exactly happened on the way to the hotel, too? It was a wonder they even made it there; they could've even been dropped off by a police car or something. The thought made her choke a bit on her coffee, but she was alive, so that was okay. She stood up as he replied that he was ready, still holding the cup in both hands to warm them. Sad that she was wasting this food like this, but oh well. She reminded herself not to judge her hunger with her eyes. She picked up her tray as well with one hand and two fingers of another, and it was a wonder that it didn't fall over before she got over there and placed her dishes on the rotating trays as well. She breathed a sigh of relief at that; it was an ordeal just to get over there with that big tray. Shweesh. His suggestion amused her slightly; they could've thought of that the first day they came there, but they had to wander about for three days instead. Feeling melancholic at the recollection, she replied, "Sure, okay. You know where the nearest bus stop is?" She asked him, feeling sourly dependent just by asking. It was annoying how much she had to rely on him in the big bad part of the city; before then, she'd gotten along quite fine on her own, but all the happenings made her have to latch onto Susumu. It was all well, though; she figured they had a great time, considering. Clutching the cup in both hands, she started towards the front desk so that they could check out. But of course Susumu had the key cards, so she had to wait for him there, too. Had she not had the cup of coffee to keep her hands busy, she would've been fidgeting like hell.

At her question, Susumu realized that he didn't. Then again, that time at the creepy hotel wasn't for naught. He was able to remember the details of that night very vividly, and digging through his bag he pulled out instructions that took them right out of the city. It was the map that they were looking for on the first day, which would've saved them a lot of trouble and heartache. It had a scribbled on map, based on what he saw from Google maps. Glancing at it for advice, hints, anything really, he noticed that he did mark something like a bus stop down. More of a 'just in case' thing, and there were at least a few nearby. All they had to do was get onto one of the streets that were pretty crowded with people and cars, and that was that. "Yeah, it'll just take 5 minutes." To get there, he meant. That didn't necessarily mean that the bus would be there by the time they walked there. All that was left was actually checking out, which made him sigh as he held the keys in his hand. It was cold, the untouched metal as it jingled from the slightest shake. It was still nothing compared to what they'd be greeted with when they left the building. As they passed on over to the front desk, Cambow was still there, but she looked less bubbly. Actually, she looked like hell. Did employees sleep around here? "ENJOY YOUR DAY, SIRRRRRR." She slurred as she leaned in obnoxiously to her customers after accepting their keys. Her eyes were red, wide, and completely bloodshot. As Susumu flinched and slowly backed away from the sight of the unkempt woman, feeling extremely guilty for anyone that worked here due to being overworked, Cambow's mind raced through the hours and hours of Minecraft she raced through. Mindcraft kills minds. Near the door, he couldn't help but glance over at Sierra. Well, more than glance. She was ok, right? He paused as he stared at her expression, mostly just to check to make sure she was ok. It felt silly asking her when she was probably still thinking about whatever happened last night, and he wasn't sure if bringing that out into the open was the greatest idea ever. "Bracing for the cold. Oh god." He winced as he opened the door, and suddenly a cold friggin' gust of wind blew by, whipping his hair around. Sheesh, at least it wasn't snowing, but it was bitter and windy. He had to hurry and sneak his gloves on as he held his back against the door, holding it open for Sierra.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra watched closely with 8x zoom just kidding as he took out a piece of paper that she assumed was a map. She leaned in next to him to look at it and realized it was scribbled on. It was a pretty good likeness of a map, though, probably better than what she could've done. Her drawings were most often messy and rushed, not to mention cliched, although she could make something cute once in a while. Adorable animals were her forte. "Okay, awesome." She replied, taking a swig of her coffee. She walked with him to the front desk as he handed over the keys, visibly unsettled at the sight of Cambow's sleep deprived face. "You too!" She replied to the pitiful employee, trying to sound normal as she kept her distance. Then they walked to the entrance. She wasn't really paying attention, her expression only a bit thoughtful and tense as she clutched the warm cup in her slender hands. The feeling of his gaze on her prompted her to look at him; there was meaning in that stare, she knew, but it was too brief for her to question it. They entered the blustery, cold world of Verona City again; Sierra almost didn't want to leave the warm sanctuary of the hotel, but she willed herself onward as she wrapped her warm clothes about her. "Where to?" She inquired, already wanting to get out of the cold. Hopefully the bus would be nice and toasty.

Once they were out in the cold all by themselves, it was pretty much the same as when they first started. Only a lot colder, and with less people roaming around because thugs weren't stupid enough to mug people in this kind of weather. At her question Susumu had his hands holding onto the map, gripped tightly as if he was afraid that the wind would blow it off into the distant land of gloomy skies and snow covered pavements. His eyes examined the poor quality in the notes he scribbled down in his frantic hurry at that moment, and he could basically deduce a general idea for where they had to go. "Just a street down and we'll be at the bus stop." He informed her with a grin, sort of forced since he was trying to convince himself that everything was ok. It had to be; it wasn't as if they had a bad time, but the ending had been pretty awkward. Despite that strange ending, most of his memories with Sierra in the past three days had been fond ones, and he was fairly glad to have experienced them. If anything, he was going to try and keep this friendship while he could. Walking at a brisk pace down the street, knowing that Sierra was able to keep up with him, he couldn't help but notice the roaring sound of a bus passing right by them. The Dodrio Express just passed them by like a blur, turning slowly around the corner. Blinking at the sight as he kept walking, something slowly clicked in his head as he stared at the back of the bus. "Oh...crap, I think that's our bus." Saying that slowly with an increasing sense of tension, his eyes widened in realization at the situation as he made a sudden dash after the fleeting bus. Runrunrun, they didn't want to miss the bus! Hell it was like elementary school all over again, except less kid friendly.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra continued to hug herself and walk as they made their way down the sidewalk. He made another announcement and a smile, to which she returned her own grin. "Finally." She replied with a mixture of relief and melancholy. Then she remained silent in thought as they briskly walked down the crunchy snow-paved sidewalk. A bus passed them, and she hardly gave it a thought until Susumu suddenly stopped and observed that - yes - that was indeed their bus. That made her stop too, whirling around just before his eyes widened and he chased after the bus. "Crap, wait up!" She called out, pursuing his fleeting figure as she ran across the snow. Crapcrapcrap, she was bound to slip before they could reach it. And yes, she did. She slipped on a bit of slush, falling onto her knees just before she scrambled back up and continued to sprint after them. The bus was going slower than them, and as the size of it increased and increased, she began to feel like they'd make it. And then she tripped again, this time scraping her knee. Ouch.

Implying that Susumu was going to wait up when the bus was moving away from them so quickly. Susumu kept on running, though Sierra didn't have a hard time keeping up with him until she started slipping. He glanced back and slowly skidded to a halt, keeping an eye on her before glancing at the bus, a bit out of breath from the dash. The bus was at least going at a normal traffic pace, to his relief, but the bus driver seemed to take sadistic pleasure in denying the duo entrance to their lair. "You ok?" Susumu asked after the second time she fell, concerned about how often she was slipping with all of the ice and concrete around her. It was only asking for cuts and scrapes, which he really hoped she wasn't getting. The bus was trapped behind two cars as the traffic light switched to red, low engine vibrating as its hot breaths of life spewed out of its rear end. Right next to Sierra with an extended hand, he glanced down at her legs to make sure she wasn't lying to him. "Sheesh, at this rate I'll have to give you a piggyback ride. Your legs suck." He was only teasing her, not actually serious about offering her a ride on his back.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Well, this was immensely ungraceful. Sierra was on her knees, wanting to facepalm at her own clumsiness as she looked up at Susumu and his outstretched hand. They had to go fast. She took his hand and quickly got to her feet again, glad he hadn't left her stranded in the show. Now that would've been dramatic. Nothing in her expression betrayed that the skin of her knee was scraped; it actually didn't hurt that much to her, since she did it so often. It was just a normal occurrence. Hm? Free piggyback ride? Her legs suck - well, she already knew that, but piggyback ride hell yeah. Sierra's eyes practically increased in size. "Can I?!" She inquired excitedly, bouncing up and down energetically. "Or just pull me along and if I trip, I'll just slide." She extended her hand towards him in offering, glancing at the road as she realized that the bus was still moving for goodness' sake. And it was only going at like, 10 mph. How could they not catch up at this rate?

"Wait, what?" He stared at Sierra in horror when she asked that, not expecting her to take the offer seriously. They...they could probably try a piggyback ride? However, his second thought made him realize that he was probably too weak to carry Sierra on his back. Imagine the embarrassment on failing that, and of all places, in a public area like that. He couldn't go through with it, at least this time. "Let's go with idea number two." He said it a bit more casually, holding her hand firmly at the offer. No reason to get nervous about this one, since he was off! It was like an awkward sled ride, where he was the dog and Sierra only had one tiny arm rope to cling onto. At least he wasn't bound to let go anytime soon! "Ok, seriously. Bus! Stop!" He waved at the bus driver to stop being an ass and at least wait for them. At first the bus driver looked the other way, only making Susumu shout a little louder next time. "Yo! Hey! Dude, come on!" Seriously, this bus driver was not giving them much of a break. This time he managed to get the guy's attention, but they still weren't getting happy results. Big guy up in the driver's seat motioned for them to make a turn onto the right, which took Susumu a few moments to process. "Aw, come on...he wants us to move to the next bus stop." He groaned, knowing that it meant more running. This douche wasn't going to take the time to wait for them, even though it was moving only 10 mph. "Killing me." He sighed, trying not to whine so much as he made the turn while holding onto Sierra's hand. Hopefully she wasn't struggling too much with this little side trip.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra was humored by Susumu's reaction. It was pretty obvious from the get-go, and she really just accepted his offer to see it. The playful smile lingered on her face until he grabbed her hand firmly, eliciting a slight butterflying feeling in her stomach. She ran with him, honestly not fond of the idea of sliding even though she suggested it herself. The bus came into view and Susumu called them out. "Mister driverrr!" She vocalized loudly, hoping to get his attention. Continued shouts eventually drew the guys' attention, but he only motioned for them to keep going - an unsatisfactory result. Optimistic Sierra, however, saw this as a good opportunity to get some morning exercise in. "C'mon, go faster!" She teased Susumu, not really expecting him to take her up on it when she was latched on like a leech.

Turn was made, bus was moving, and they were definitely on their way to the nearest bus stop. It was in view thank goodness! Even better, Sierra wasn't falling down like a mess anymore! That definitely was a bunch of plusses in a row that was going to let them get on this damn bus. Now if only the bus driver wasn't so trolly! It was ridiculous that the guy wouldn't let them on right away in the first place. He could hear Sierra calling out to the driver as well, but not even she could appeal to this guy's black and bitter soul. She urged him to go faster as if it was some kind of joke, and he would've loved to if he wasn't positive that the second he did, she'd fall on her face. "How about you mush instead of me?" It was the only retort he could think of as he felt himself run quickly out of breath, reaching the bus stop right as the large vehicle pulled up to it. It thankfully came to a complete stop, opening the doors to hell as the large, greasy looking driver gave them a creepy stare. "So glad we made it." Susumu sighed with relief, letting go of her hand with an apologetic smile. He probably held it longer than he had to, mostly because he was too tired to even think about it. "And up we go--" Susumu was happily eager to take the first step onto the bus, when suddenly the door snapped in front of him. "H-Hey! What the hell?" Susumu backed off, his poor foot twitching from nearly getting snapped in the crack of the two doors. The driver grinned at him, total troll face too, before opening the doors again. Was this a challenge? Maybe it was some kind of dare? "Really?" Susumu asked in an annoyed mutter to himself, trying again with a suspicious glare towards the driver. Ok, this time he was able to get on. Screw you, driver. There was a small coin box at the entrance with a price that he could easily match with his pocket change. Coins clicking together as proof of his payment, Susumu was left to examine the remaining bus seats. Several in the middle were empty, but the people nearby were questionable looking. They all looked sick; coughing without covering their mouths, looking super pale, and so much sniffling. Nope. Not risking that. The very back of the bus was open though, with room for about three people in the middle. The window seats were both robbed, but it would work. They looked normal enough. With a sigh, he walked his way to the end with a reluctant glance towards his seat neighbors before sitting down on the soft but worn out seat. Time to get this over with.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra laughed at Susumu's tired retort even though it wasn't that funny. The fact that he wasn't offended was sort of funny. She kept up with him, his hand somehow stabilizing her as they made it to the bus stop. Doors opened, revealing the unflattering figure of the bus driver and his creepy stare. It was like he was judging them. Sierra suddenly felt an odd feeling and realized that she and Susumu were still holding hands when he suddenly broke the grip, smiling meekly. "Yeah. Saved me back there, too." She added carefreely, preparing to follow him into the bus when the doors suddenly latched closed. His retort rang in her ears. Sierra let out a laugh as the doors opened again, even though Susumu was annoyed. She had a sense of humor for the cruel jokes too. She entered after him, and suddenly the doors made to shut as she was going up the stairs. "Woah!" She cried with a jump, managing to leap into the bus before they closed on her. Now that was just cruel! The bus driver was smiling with pink cheeks as Sierra laughed nervously. "Hah, good one." She said to him before dropping the allotted amount of change into the box. She was pretty much waiting behind Susumu for him to choose where they would sit. Docile, she watched as he trudged all the way back to the back seats past all the pale people in the middle. Sierra didn't think much about them, but she trusted Susumu's instincts. She took her place next to him, glancing once at the girl next to her with a slight smile of greeting. But her seat neighbor wasn't friendly; it was a jaded woman with a full bust, clad in a very revealing and sultry outfit. Her make up was sort of smudged, her scowl betraying her unfriendliness. She said nothing. Biting her lip, Sierra returned her attention to her lap, upon which was her purse. A honking noise, and the bus started again towards their destination. Sierra would've offered snacks to Susumu if they hadn't just eaten breakfast like 15 minutes ago. Instead, she opted for conversation. "So after this we're out of the ghettos for sure, right?" She inquired him as if it wasn't obvious enough a question. It was really mostly small talk.

Saved her back there? Susumu couldn't meet Sierra's gaze when she said that, thinking she was making too much out of nothing. All they were doing was getting on a bus, which happened to be their ticket out of this joint. He really had to wonder how she wasn't completely sick of him after practically spending 3 days together. It was sort of hard to believe that things went on the way they did, sighing as he tried to ignore the strange order that loomed in the bus like a heavy atmosphere. Everyone on this place seemed generally unfriendly, including the near asleep man that was on Susumu's side. He gave him a look over to make sure that he wouldn't bother them with his deep breathing, and then turned to see who Sierra had to deal with. Whoa, now that was a chick with some bust. She didn't know the word 'class', did she? She was one giant distraction, proving to make eye contact with Sierra difficult with her mammoth sized chest calling attention to everyone that looked in that general direction. It was hard to pull away his gaze, but he managed to do so when he caught her unfriendly scowl towards Sierra. Oh how easily that could've been him if she caught him looking. "For sure. Thank God." He chuckled out of relief, leaning back in his seat as he tried to feel somewhat comfortable. There was a small gap between him and Sierra so they wouldn't have to touch each other, but he found himself twitching when the guy next to him started to snore and shuffle about in his seat. How awkward. "Bet you were getting sick of me anyways, so you'll be free soon enough." Staring up at the ceiling as the bus rolled into movement, the vibrations from the engine flowed into their ears with a low hum. The sound was sort of comforting to hear, alleviating the bus of a billowing silence. It was funny how he wasn't tired or cranky after being stuck with this chick for so long, wondering how he was still sane around her himself. It was a new record. Snores reached his ears as he fought to keep his gaze on the ceiling, feeling weird for looking at this sleeping stranger non-stop. It was only when he felt some kind of heavy pressure on his lap when he literally cringed and shifted closer to Sierra on instinct. "The hell?" He yelped, seeing this tired looking man with a long looking beard rest his head on his lap. The man's face looked to be one of bliss as he continued to snore, leaving Susumu's left eye twitching as he stared at him in absolute horror. He had no words for this. Speechless. Sierra wasn't safe either, since apparently the man was slithering towards her lap as well to use hers as a pillow with Susumu’s for support. Apparently the old looking man liked her scent or something, so he unconsciously moved her way.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra didn't notice that Susumu was staring for too long to the girl next to her, which was a good thing. She was sort of convinced that Susumu was as close to a gentleman as any boy she'd ever met. And from Team Death, too, which was ironic. "Yeah." She agreed at first. Then he assumed that she was sick of him - well, understandable, but she felt differently. "If I was sick of you, I would've ran away on my own." She informed him, glancing sidelong at him before returning her gaze forward. All these heads of people in the ghettos. She was certain that a few of them had never been washed. Suddenly, Susumu shifted closer, and she had to glance over at him to see what was going on. She scooted just a little bit closer to the lady next to her to compensate, but definitely not too close. She didn't even have to question what was going on; it was happening right before her eyes. "Umm..." She uttered, trying to think of a solution to this when suddenly the man's head was slithering towards her lap. Then something in her went off and she picked up her purse, bringing it down on the man's head. It was hard enough to make a noise; a few people in front of them looked back at them to see what was going on. The sleeping man woke up with a jolt, almost pouncing out of his seat, but he didn't realize that Sierra had hit him. "Some nightmare..." He muttered to himself before falling asleep again in his own vicinity. Who knew, though - he could slither their way again without control of his body. The lady next to her was amused enough to comment, "Got him pretty good there." Sierra was surprised to hear her voice and especially that compliment, and she grinned her way in response. Thank goodness she didn't let that happen, though, or the rest of the trip would've been seriously awkward.
