The Bellsprout refused to let this rolling ball get the best of her. She saw the round sphere come at her. She moved her agile body out of the way, her limberness allowed her a quick dodge. She then jumped behind him and began whipping her leaves around again. <IMA MAKE YOU PAY, AWWWWW YEAH. I'LL GET REVENGE FOR THESE GUYS, YOU'LL SEE!> The Bellspout yelled at the top of her voice. She wanted to avenge the poor little dead Pokémon. She saw the Zigzagoon lie there and it broke her heart. She then threw her vine around, aiming for the Voltorb to knock it off the ground. <FOR THE ZIGAGOON!> She cried. ::bellsprout:: Level: 4 Gender: Female Attacks: Vine Whip Ability: Chlorophyll Personality: Hyperactive busybody who always butts into other people's business.

(OOC: Nice Template btw. I'd like to use templates but I have no idea how to make one and I can't find ones I like online.) Lori watched Trolo charge beautifully at the Bellsprout, if such a thing is possible, but unfortunately the speedy ball pokemon wasn't quite speedy enough. The Bellsprout foe had used it's small lithe body and dodged Trolo's attack by stepping to side, leaving Trolo to roll into a bush of grass a few feet behind her.
This Bellsprout might know a thing or two. They would need to amp it up to win this one! "Trolo use Charge and then Tackle once more!" Trolo swiveled it self to something like a sit up position and began to charge it's body, you could see the sparks in the air being pressed against it body and absorbed. Trolo could feel it's Sp. Def rise up as it's body filled with electrical energy.
Then just before it was going to use Tackle, a Vinewhip came out of no where and slashed at it, hitting from side to side. When the attack stopped Trolo shot forward with another Tackle, hard pressed to land and attack, while Lori kept hoping for Static to kick in. Level: 4 Gender: Female Attacks: Vine Whip Ability: Chlorophyll Personality: Hyperactive busybody who always butts into other people's business. Hit By Tackle Used Vine Whip Bellsprout wasn't about to be taken down like the others! They had died, all because this trainer had no sort of heart whatsoever! The demon Trapinch had been destroyed and yet there was still the red and white rolling one to be defeated. She would do it. She would take them all down! A murder would not go unpunished, and for sure not two murders in a row. She felt the Tackle attack hit her slender body, knocking her back a few feet. It was a price she would pay for justice. <YOU'LL NEVER KILL ANYONE AGAIN!> Her vines whipped out once more in a rather violent attack.

The Bellsprout took the full hit of Trolo's Charged Tackle, being shoved back several feet by the blow, but for some reason this resilent Bellsprout looked as if it hadn't taken much damage. Lori was starting to question if Trolo's Static ability would ever work, this ability would surely test her patience. The battle was still on, and Trolo needed a command. "Trolo use Tackle again!"
The sparks on Trolo still winded wildly from the previous Charge move, and Trolo began to roll forward, using it's raised Sp. Def when it plowed through the Bellsprout's Vinewhip attack. It was hit by the grass pokemons defences, but Trolo charged on with it's natural high speed and tried to use Tackle on the Bellsprout once again. Weakening Hit By Tackle Used Vine Whip "Gah, are you trying to kill me as well you bastard?" she shouted as she went down onto one leg, gasping for breath. This pokemon was quite strong, and she was feeling the pressure of the battle now. However, she had no time to gain any breathe back as she was tackled by the voltorb again, and this time she was sent flying backwards onto the ground, before she shakily got up. "You're going to pay for that you murderer! I won't let you take me as well!" she shouted, before her vines whipped out once more from her arms in order to deal some damage to the electric type.

The Bellsprout was beginning to weaken, Lori could see, as she had knelt down like she was worn out. Just then Trolo had begun his attack and charged for it's foe. It was perfect timing on Trolo's part, as just when the Bellsprout stood, Trolo's Tackle hit head on! The grass pokemon was sent flying backwards, landing on the ground quite hard before standing up shakily to resume the battle.
"Alright Trolo! Go for the Win with another Tackle!" Lori commanded excitedly. Kuchi may have lost her first battle, but maybe Trolo could pull off one of his own. Static was still a no show, but hopefully she could pull off this battle without it, and she basically had to at this point. Lori snapped her attention back on the battle just as Trolo began to attack. The Charge's effects were still active, keeping Trolo's Sp. Def raised one level, and Trolo took full use of it as the Bellsprout used Vinewhip once again.
Lori had to admit that only being able to use one attack move made her move choice a little dull. But they were making the best of it when the Vinewhip hit Trolo side to side. Lori could tell that Trolo was also starting to weaken, we need to wrap this up soon, Lori thought to herself.
It was Trolo's turn, now that the Vinewhip was over, and it rolled at high speed towards the Bellsprout, putting in all the energy it had. GENDERLESS | LEVEL 7 [ Static | Soundproof ] - Tackle - Charge - Weakening Used Tackle

Bellsprout was thrown backwards by the force of the blow. Sprawled out on the ground with nowhere to crawl, she was helpless and scared. She shivered violently, staring into the dark eyes of her would-be assassin. <DON'T KILL ME! I BEG FOR MY LIFE! I-ARGH!>
Those were her last words before her vision faded. Mouth agape, drool seeping out and pooling on the ground under her head, she definitely looked dead.
Bellsprout has fainted. Throw a pokeball or leave her behind.

Lori punched the air in victory. "We won! We just won our first battle!" Lori was filled with excitement and ran up to Trolo, picking it up and twirling the emotionless Voltorb in the air with her hands. "Fantastic job Trolo. I'm so proud of you. Now take a good rest, I'll try and get us something to help you all recover." Trolo was returned to it's ball, and Lori placed it back on the belt. The defeated Bellsprout lay drooling on the Route 1 path. Lori wasn't sure what to do with it. She wasn't really big on this kind of pokemon, and it clearly didn't like her when the Bellsprout looked either panicked or determined to get some kind of revenge. Clearly it was a pokemon that wasn't the type that liked to battle.
Lori decided to let the fainted pokemon go. There are more pokemon out there who were far more suited battles, and maybe slightly better personalities. She didn't want any harm to come to the Bellsprout either, so she decided to gently pick it up, and walked over to the forest area it had originally came from. Placing it in a soft bush to hide her from the open.
Lori dusted off her hands on the side of her pants and looked down the path of Route 1. She still had a long way to go before reaching her home town Electric City. She hoped to recruit some strong pokemon before then, so that when she challenged the Gym it would be a flawless victory! With success on her mind, Lori made her way down Route 1 once more, still on the look out for a potential new pokemon.

Much further away, a small Kricketot was staring at a Caterpie that was laughing with one of her friends. His eyes were only on her though, especially since he wasn't into her Weedle friend. He sighed to himself as he followed them, waiting for them to split up. He wasn't going to try and flirt with her while her friend was around; it was too awkward for him!
The two worms finally split up after a last laugh, and he started to feel more confident about what he was going to do. Hopping out of his hiding spot and blocking her path, he stared her right in the eyes. The Caterpie felt a bit nervous about this and backed up a little, not sure what was going on. <Hello?> She asked in a curious, friendly voice.
<I think you're really pretty, would you please accept this flower and go out with me?> He held out a yellow dandelion that he had picked moments before, hoping that she would accept it. The Caterpie only tilted her head as if she was in some kind of complex, deep thought.
<Thank you, people tell me that all of the time. And sure, we can hang out some time.> She laughed, taking the flower and eating it since it was delicious. At least to her. The Kricketot stood stunned, realizing that he was just friend zoned as the Caterpie started to walk away.

Lori moved down Route 1 a little faster than before. She was still amped up after her first battle, which somehow had become a double all at the same time. She kept up her search for new pokemon, scanning the area, even checking the occasional bush every now and again. Then the most bizarre scene unfolded between two bug types.
First this Caterpie and it's Weedle friend were sort of stalked by a creepy Kricketot. It like, stared at them, more at the Caterpie with this odd fascination. Then after the Weedle left it made it's move. At first Lori thought it was going to attack, but then it pulled out a flower and offered it to the Caterpie. "Ewwwww.... Bug Love...." She whispered to herself before the Caterpie turned down the Kricketot. "Well, whatever this is... It's none of my concern... Thankfully. Cuz that is just awkward."
Lori skirted around the two pokemon hoping to avoid getting involved. She needed to find good, strong pokemon for her team. And preferably ones she felt were pleasing to the eyes as some would say. Not to mention she never was a fan of bug type pokemon, well, except for Joltik and Durant. They are pretty sweet according to her. With Joltik looking really cute and Durant looking really awesome, they were the only Bug types that were great in her book.
But Lori needed to focus if she was going to find any other pokemon. So she slowed her pace a little, and began combing the area again.

The Kricketot needed to grow a backbone. He was like a Gryffindor, or some liked to called it 'the backbone of a worm'. Although, he had yet to grow said bone in the body. Instead he watched as the Caterpie crawled off and into a nearby flower patch. He would be forever left in the friend zone. Out of the corner of his eye was a girl, standing off and staring at them with a disgusted look. He ran up to her. >Please, miss! Can you help me?<
The Caterpie truly did have a thing for that Kricketot. Had anyone heard of a poker face? She didn't want to go out with him while she was with Ricky though. Even if Ricky was a tad. . . Abusive- But he hit her out of love of course! There was no other reason but! She watched as the Kricketot ran over to the girl, and felt a little hollow with jealousy inside. . .

(OOC: Not getting out of this one I see..... T.T) Lori watched as the Caterpie had moved away, and the Kricketot did too, but before she could give a sigh of relief she realized it was running straight towards her. "Oh God.... This is gunna suck....." She whispered to herself. It ran right up to her, looking up at her with big eyes. It was definitely a bug.... She shuddered as it looked up at her with pleading eyes. Oh great, it wants her help, that's nice. What am I supposed to do! She thought to herself. If I help it, maybe it will go away....
"Ok little...guy...." She really wasn't at all sure. "Need help with your... lady friend? I see. Uh.... Why don't you try and show her how strong you are. Like, beat up her boyfriend or something. She probably wouldn't go out with anyone if she's taken. But if you beat him up in a protective sort of way she might take you or something." She was basically just throwing out some ideas. And hopefully it works cuz if not then.... Lori shakes her head as if it would get rid of the awful daymare.

Curiously the Kricketot listened to the suggestion. While the Trainer seemed unsure, perhaps she was just nervous – of bugs! Sure, bugs were creepy, right? That had to be it! “Good idea,” the wild Kricketot broke into a grin that would break a Sableye’s face. Taking a deep breath in, the Kricketot flared his chest and strutted dat ass into the bushes after the Caterpie.
CRASH!
Suddenly he flew back out, flipping wildly as he flew, and smacked into a tree, his eyes simple swirls that showed he had taken quite the blow. Trickles of bug juices trailed down his chest and he struggled to his feet, but wobbled. Whatever had kicked him back out of the flower patch sure must’ve been strong! Wobbling on unsteady feet, the Kricketot blinked open an eye and grunted. “Any more bright ideas, lady?”

Lori watched as the creepy Kricketot seemed to contemplate her idea. Then he gave this horrific grin of achievement before puffing himself up and stalking into the forest. Lori thought she had finally gotten rid of it.
But before she could sigh with relief, a large crash sound came from the pokemon had entered, resulting in the Kricketot stumbling back to her dripping bug juice or something. Clear something was in there, maybe the boyfriend? Either way this weak bug pokemon was no match.
"Well that didn't work.... Well, I heard a friend say that Kricketot can make music with their antennae. Why don't you try to make music for your girl so that she can come to you. Sounds like a pretty romantic thing to do don't you think?" She wasn't really sure what would happen, but at least the pokemon wouldn't get hurt this time around.

Rising up onto his unsteady feet, the Kricketot rose, staring after the Kricketot and nodding. Sure, he could do that. Music was one of his specialities! Suddenly his faith in Lori was restored and he strode over the middle of the clearing, where he started rubbing his antennae together in a whimsical melody. It sounded beautiful at first, but then went a little off key before returning to normal again. Five seconds into the song, something smacked into the Kricketot’s head – a rock - and a hidden Beedrill glared at him from her nest, buzzing her wings in undisguised agitation before vanishing again. Apparently his music did not attract the romantic sort of attention. The Kricketot lay dazed on his belly, face down in the dirt, before twisting his neck and staring at Lori. Either the Kricketot was getting slightly irate or he was waiting for some more advice... Poor Kricketot.
