<What makes you think he gave me up? Maybe he just hid me away. Or I died a dramatic yet fitting death.> Mio joked, glad she was able to keep the Pichu around a bit longer. This was kind of fun, actually. As much as she wished she could snap the Pichu out of it, it was funny playing along. Plus Susumu was being hilarious, and she couldn't help but want to tease him. It was the girl in her, plus she loved Susumu as a friend, and friends made life crap for each other.
Ick, what was that Noctowl doing? Mio saw it coming and stared in shock as the bird tried to lift up Susumu by his shoulders. He squirmed about under its talons, but ultimately he was a bit too heavy for the untrained bird to carry. Maybe it needed the Fly HM. Maybe Susumu needed to lose a few pounds. Whatever it was, he was only dragged and not being flown away into the sky, probably making a problem for the parent bird. "Yo bird, let me go. You're making things worse!" He struggled, using one of his hands to hold onto the Noctowl's leg and another to try and set one of his shoulders free.
<Susumu! What are you doing?> Mio cried, sensing that the situation wasn't good at all. She glanced down at the Pichu, which was kind of electrical like Michi, a Chinchou. Electric had good fortune against birds, so why not now? <Think you can shock that bird? If you can slow it down, I can probably get it.> Mio explained the plan, while Susumu glanced back and saw the Sudowoodo carrying that clingy Pichu and running furiously in his direction.
Oh crap. "What are you doing wait! Agh! Fly bird! Flyyyy!" He cried, suddenly feeling the urge to not be a parent as he pleaded the bird to take him higher. He could find Mio later, but that Pichu called him Daddy! He knew it, even if he didn't fully understand it himself.

The young Pichu was crying out in pure agony just wanting to really be with his father, the electric type cringed as he released a tiny but powerful thundershock and fell onto the ground. +HELP ME! HELP ME!+ the poor little electric type scream bloody murder on the top of his lungs, really wanting someone to help him out. NO!+ the Pichu screamed as he landed on the floor in a bush, a large splat and it seemed like the poor Pichu’s skull was no longer in tact, dead. The Noctowl opened her beak as she flew closer to Susumu and squawked at the evil trainer.
+YOU DESTROYED MY PREY. I CAN NO LONGER EAT IT. HOW DARE YOU+ the Noctowl shrieked as she went in and tried to peck at the trainer’s head, just releasing some of her aggression.

No one really understood what happened with the Pichu so it was ignored. Yes, ignored. Shut your whore mouth when I'm talking. Mio and Susumu basically shrugged and turned their attention to the Noctowl, the only thing that made sense around here. The trainer was still in the Noctowl's grip, but the second she tried to peck at him he was freed. Of course, otherwise the angle would be weird and she wouldn't be able to peck him as freely. "Agh! Freaking. bird. Mio, teach it some manners." He hissed, running away from the onslaught and closer to his own Pokémon.
<Rodger.> She nodded, staring hard at the pecking motions the bird made. She didn't feel like trying out her Mimic move, so she went with a super quick Copycat, and her branches immediately went spiky.
This was how the pros did it, like a boss. She charged ahead with fear for her trainer's safety, and swung her branches around to get a peck attack off on the bird. That would do something, she hoped.

Her cry was short, sharp, and surprised. She wasn't expecting the rock type to just whirl around and smack her like that! Copying her own attack even! She frowned slightly and pushed off of the ground below, putting some distance between herself and the Sudowoodo. Once she felt like she was safely away and out of his reach she turned and stabilized herself in mid-air, flapping her wings slowly. Her large eyes locked onto the small pin-point eyes of Sudowoodo and then her eyes began to glow as she used a hypnosis attack on the rock type.

When the Noctowl was stabilizing herself, the Sudowoodo watched her carefully as her trainer crawled a safe distance away. She was glad he was fine, and she was convinced that she wouldn't be in too much danger either. She was a rock, as if that thing could eat her up. Still, momma bird had this scary look on her face. It made her face flush and her head dizzy, and she was soon staring off into space.
Odd though, she was standing up with her eyes open. It didn't look as if she was asleep, but she was completely zoned out from the attack. She wouldn't be making any moves this time around. Which meant that Susumu was a sitting duck until Mio could move around again. Use another Pokemon? Pfft, no. Mio was going to have to deal with battles like these on her own. It was the only way to actually train her.
"Plan B, distraction! Go!" He was up on his own two feet, lobbing a Pokeball at the Noctowl to try and distract her. He wasn't expecting her to get captured at all, but maybe it would buy Mio some time.

The Noctowl was happy the wood tree fell asleep to her eyes. The Noctowl wasn't really going to allow herself to be captured. <Do you really think I'm going to fall for the human?!> She screeched. As the Pokeball came at her she swiftly turned herself around and swatted the pokeball back at the human with her tail feathers. The Pokebal went soaring back to try and knock the human in the head.
Then the Noctowl set her sights on the sleeping tree. Glowing with a strong white light the Noctowl began humming.

Plan B wasn't over yet, especially with Mio still asleep on her two feet. The trainer saw the Noctowl fling the Pokeball towards him, but luckily he had good enough reflexes to catch it in his hands. He winced from the smack of the container against the bone itself, but he had little choice but to endure it. Holding it in his left hand while he shook the pain out of his right, he glared up at the bird.
"What do you think you're doing? Bad Noctowl! Bad!" Yeah he had nothing at this point. He wanted Mio to pull it off herself, but he could at least try and give her a hand. He threw the Pokeball back at the Noctowl with more force, only trying to distract her from using the attack.
Mio started to shake as the battle went on, but she was still clearly asleep as drool started to drip out of the corner of her lips. She must've been having a dream about food, because she was smiling at the same time her tummy growled. Haha, mmm. Food.

It sucked her in with a glow of red, and then immediately spat her back out. She looked angry, with narrowed eyes and ruffled feathers. The glowing white light around her doubled in brightness as she took flight, rushing towards the sleeping poke'mon. The white light gathered around her wings and then she used the sky attack on the sleeping Sudowoodo. Just to make sure the trainer got the message not to try the poke'ball again she glared over at him, literally hissing at him as she zoomed by, waiting for whatever happened next.

Well screw plan B. The Noctowl looked ticked as she hissed and glared at him, and he scrambled to try and retrieve the Pokeball. It looked a bit dented, but otherwise usable. The only thing was that bird was probably going to do bad things to him, like how he was Sky Attacking the crap out of Mio. She was still asleep as she was engulfed in a bright light, and he winced from the shock of it all.
"Ugh. Crap. Just wake up soon. Ok?" Susumu asked, almost desperately as he watched on. If she was asleep another turn, he was just going to send out another Pokemon. They weren't getting anywhere with this awfully fast, and who knows when the bird was going to turn on him again.
"Humans are friends, not food." He decided to try, just in case the Noctowl wanted to feed him to her young again. Yeah. Friends. Not food. Please don't eat him.

The Noctowl smirked, flying back to her original position before tilting her head to the side at the trainer. It was true that this tree was much too large to be fed whole to her children. It was her job, as a mother, to make sure that the food was small and soft enough to be eaten. Which meant that this Noctowl would have the hard time of trying to cut this moving tree up into pieces and such.. unless she decided to go after the human.
On the other hand, humans were so messy with their tough skins, bones and blood. Those organs were pretty tasty but, besides that- they were difficult to dig into and some of them carried nasty diseases or fake organs/body parts; which was odd. The Noctowl ruffled up her feathers, taking her time since this foe would not be awake thus this turn. She smiled, that awkward owl smile and flew back towards the creature with a Tackle attack.

The trainer felt an odd sense of worry when the bird looked at him, as if she was debating something. Maybe about how she was going to carry him to devour him. The thought frightened him, but she was still focused on his rock type for now. Luckily her attacks weren't doing too much, because with that one Tackle, Mio woke up and acted as if she felt an itch at her side. Also maybe a bit of a headache from that Sky Attack...but he was just guessing.
"Mio, kick its ass!" He ordered, knowing that it would do some decent damage. Big bird, add in a fist plate, and they had a chance to turn things around. That was perfect! The Sudowoodo seemed dazed, but hearing the Noctowl's wings flap loudly next to her ears snapped her out of it.
<You're the kidnapper! And killer! Shame on you missy!> She huffed, charging towards the bird with her foot brimming with energy. She leapt into the air, a bit agile for a rock type, and tried to slam the Noctowl into the ground, using the bird's weight against it.

The kick knocked the Noctowl onto her butt and she wasn't going to lie when it hurt her greatly. It annoyed her some more and she started to think that it was a waste of time trying to get food to feed her young-ins from this trainer and his pokemon. She should have picked an easier target, or at the very least a less annoying target. What ended up as a kidnapping sort of turned around and had her as the one being in a disadvantage now. She wasn't happy about that at all as the Low Kick did not feel good on her butt, and she had to exert even more energy now after seeing the Sudowoodo wake up. >You know what! Take this!< She said and she layered herself with a protective shield. Now the physical attacks should do much less... ::Noctowl:: Summary: Hit by Low Kick. Susumu blinked when the Noctowl put up some kind of screen, and he instantly flipped out his Pokedex to find out what it was. Reflect? Halves all physical attacks? Didn't this bird use mostly physical attacks? His mind was racing at the opportunity and he finally smirked. "Dumb bird." He muttered, finding this chance amazing.
"Copy that reflect! Then Rock Throw the crap outta it." He ordered, now much more confident about the battle. This was it, he could turn it around. Beautiful freaking ending, right? The Sudowoodo caught on and took that fine move for herself, shaking her branches and forming her own Reflect to protect herself.
<Why thank you for letting me take this.> Mio giggled, before pointing one of her branches at the Noctowl. Suddenly one of the green bushes opened up and started firing a big rock at her foe. Why was that in there? Well...she was a rock Pokemon...and she had to excrete things...somehow...

The motherly Noctowl had just started to feel good about herself when the Rock Throw attack hit her. She skittered back, her Reflect having stopped some of the super effective attacks damage. Still, it made her a bit on the weak side. >>I'll show you! I promise you that!>>Opening her eyes wide they started to glow a bright blue color. The Hypnosis came again, and this time Susumu tried to get a command in before Mio could fall asleep again. "Dodge it!" He ordered, but it was too late. The rock type was asleep, and who knows when she would wake up. That bird looked like she was going to try and escape, so thinking quickly about his best Pokemon for abusing the sleep condition, he sent out his Chinchou.
"Michi! Don't you dare let that bird get away after all of this crap." He ordered, and the Chinchou seemed a bit frightened at the tone of voice, but nodded. Poor Mio was asleep and incapable of fighting, from what he could tell.
This bird also looked like she had plans. Plans to get away. Too bad he couldn't do anything yet, but when he could, he would be ready to use something to stop her.

She was deeply satisfied with putting the Sudowoodo to sleep. Following her hypnosis attack she circled around in the sky and continued to calmly fly through the air while he changed poke'mon. And the instant her new foe was out she rushed foreword, a deep growl rumbling in her throat in order to lessen the Chinchou's attack strength. And as she flew towards the other poke'mon she didn't even slow herself down, she kept up her momentum and aimed a tackle attack for the small fishy-looking poke'mon.

The Sudowoodo was still asleep on the battlefied; eyes open like wtf while her mouth was open with a bit of drool coming out again. No one was attacking her at least, especially with Michi awake out on the field saving her from being harmed in her sleep. Not that that mattered, because the bird was actually trying to get away.
"Hang tough." Susumu warned, seeing the Growl and the incoming charge towards his little fish. Luckily the reflect carried over to him, halving the damage from the stronger Pokemon. Michi was pushed back with a pained grunt and wince, but he stayed as calm as he could. As long as he didn't get eaten, he didn't feel like panicking.
"Thunder Wave and Shock Wave will do it, guaranteed." He nodded, just wanting to weaken this thing. The bird needed to learn not to eat humans. That was just dangerous for the children that walked around this place! Michi sent a weak bolt of electricity at the bird to 'clip her wings', then suddenly sent out a wave of electricity, in the shape of a spiraling line towards the Noctowl. It was as accurate as Swift, sadly for the bird.

Two electrical attacks radiated over body and ruffled her feathers. The tips of her flight feathers singed with black and became weakened. The first wave sunk into her bones and made her ache, before beginning to stiffen up her muscles. She was forced to land on the ground, just as the second wave of electricity, the damaging one, touched her body and made her pain worse. Finally Mio was awake again, and as she wiped away her slobber she blinked as Michi was attacked with a mean looking peck attack to his side. At least he was resistant and the reflect was there to protect him, because normally he had bad luck with physical strikes. The fish looked confidently back up at the bird, showing no signs of backing down. Mio found that a bit admirable, for something that acted to shy most of the time.
"Good, you're up. How about we double team it now." Susumu advised with a grin. This was for the Pichu that died in a way that made no sense at all but they were going with it anyways! Mio and Michi nodded in agreement, seeing that they had already worked on beating this stronger leveled foe separately anyways.
"Confuse Ray on the Noctowl. Mio, try out that Wood Hammer." Sure, it wouldn't be effective with that reflect up. But he just wanted to see what it looked like. The Chinchou sent a ghostly aura towards the bird, making it flash in a bright light as close to the bird as he could make it. Mio growled as she held her branches together, making them close and fuse into one giant grassy hammer.
Then she ran towards the Noctowl, swinging her branch hammer around like a mad woman, attempting to strike the bird down without any consideration for her health.
