<Hm?> Kindle noticed something glimmering in the distance, and its leaves twitched in the direction of a Pidgey flying towards the pair. The bird fluttered down towards Seamus with a gift carried on its back, and the trainer was momentarily distracted from the battle. "Just...rinse and repeat." He dismissed Acetate just like that, seeing that the fighting type was completely frozen over like a defenseless Magikarp. He took off the egg from the Pidgey, glancing over the note attached that said that breeding was a success. The only issue was that it was a Clamperl egg, not a Horsea one like he had hoped to get. Still, at least he got an egg this time. He motioned for Kindle to move onto his shoulder as he held the egg in his arms, trying to incubate it and keep it safe. <Rinse and repeat. I don't know if this is a good idea.> The Shieldon huffed, noticing that the Timburr was going to be unthawed very soon. Another Blizzard could probably help more, but instead he decided to listen. His body became even harder with a second iron defense, making him rather sturdy altogether. Then he didn't hold back in using another Body Slam on the Timburr, hoping it could at least paralyze him if it did unthaw. Note: Metal Sound gives -2 special defense, so that's what Timburr should have. { Acetate } (Defense +4) Ability: {Sturdy: Not able to faint from 1-Hit KO moves} Level: 22 Moves: Take Down, Protect, Body Slam, Scary Face, Taunt, Metal Sound, Iron Defense, Blizzard Uses Iron Defense and Body Slam on Timburr { Kindle } Level: 1 Exp.Share::egg:: Clamperl egg post 1

The wild Timburr had still been frozen solid this entire time, really he was cold and could no longer form sentences because his body temperature had been way too low. The fighting type began to shake his head waiting for the ice to wear off, all he could do was watch that damn shieldon make his defense higher, the shieldon then used body slam on the frozen fighting type causing damage but ultimately unfreezing the Timburr and letting him battle once again.
He shook his body trying to get his temperature back up so that he could attack, his temperature was finally good as he used leer trying to lower this steel pokemons defense before rushing in and using his low kick attack. +YOU TAKE THAT+ he yelled out, +I STILL WILL BEAT YOU.+

Seamus had the egg kept nice and warm in his arms while Kindle looked at it curiously, never seeing an egg besides his own before. It had a pretty blue color that he just wanted to look at all day, but everything was so exciting. He chirped with excitement as the battle went on, a little too overwhelmed to feel sleepy. Seamus only duly noted that the Tumburr was unfrozen, but he was a bit too charmed by Kindle's soft nature. "You like this specimen, do you not? There's a baby Clamperl inside of it, and you should only be a day older than it is." He explained, knowing that these eggs enjoyed hatching around active Pokemon. It helped that Kindle was probing at it, while Acetate was causing a ruckus with some kind of fighting type. <You think that'll hurt? My defenses are too high for you. Give it up!> The Shieldon cleverly lied, using a Protect attack to nullify the Leer and Low Kick. It was a trick to try and get the Timburr to use another attack, and with his intelligence, that didn't seem too hard. If that didn't work, he may have to consider running away this time. { Acetate } (Defense +4) Ability: {Sturdy: Not able to faint from 1-Hit KO moves} Level: 22 Moves: Take Down, Protect, Body Slam, Scary Face, Taunt, Metal Sound, Iron Defense, Blizzard Uses Protect! { Kindle } Level: 1 Exp.ShareClamperl egg post 2

His attack were blocked?! What kind of witchcraft was this?! No one could block his attacks! He was very strong Pokemon, oh so very much strong. His primitive instincts went for the next best thing and grabbed a rock too throw at the Dinosaur! Nothing was gonna stop him from putting that Dinosaur down!
It was a desperate measure, but this primitive being did not really know the difference between effort and being desperate.

Kindle didn't know how to talk yet, because goodness it was only a day old, but he was extremely curious about the Clamperl egg. It was so different from his pink one, but he didn't have any sentimental value towards his egg shell. He liked Seamus's long black hair, and it was warm and cozy like the darkness of his egg. But the sun was a beautiful thing, and his ears would twitch like crazy because it was all so pretty and new. It was rainbows and unicorns and it was bright and shiny, and all Seamus saw was some ghetto city where he was almost shanked by a Timburr. That was pretty terrible. "Give it time." He nodded sagely to the Hoppip, whose tail flickered against the back of his neck quite a bit. The older man couldn't quite think as straight with the distraction, but he decided that Kindle was too young to really understand when it was time to be serious. Thankfully he wasn't frightened off at the Pokemon battle, but at the same time, he wasn't paying attention to it. That was weird. <Hmth.> Acetate was much more calm now as the Tumburr threw a heavy rock at his side, yet it hardly hurt him. The rock split in two, and he appeared to be hardly phased from that one blow. Then the worst thing for the offensive fighter happened-- more Iron Defenses. That Low Kick wouldn't hurt him now, would it? He grunted as he felt the heavy armor settle on him, as high as it could go. Almost none of these attacks would do damage until the Taunt wore off, and it would right about now, but it was his turn to strike hard. He shot an icy cold Blizzard at the fighting type, feeling a bit too slow and heavy to run around with another Body Slam. The wind had a blue coloring as bits of snow shot out like crazy bullets, really making the move earn its title as a Blizzard. { Acetate } (Defense MAX) Ability: {Sturdy: Not able to faint from 1-Hit KO moves} Level: 22 Moves: Take Down, Protect, Body Slam, Scary Face, Taunt, Metal Sound, Iron Defense, Blizzard Hit by Rock Throw (Resistant) Uses Iron Defense and Blizzard on Timburr { Kindle } Level: 1 Exp.ShareClamperl egg post 3

As Seamus and Kindle fussed over the egg and pretty much everything else except for the battle, Acetate's low grunt actually caught their attention. They blinked at the weakened Timburr, who couldn't even make a move this turn. The Blizzard was a high powered move, and even Acetate looked weary using it. It served as a reminder-- maybe he should buy more potions and revives in the near future. It certainly wouldn't kill him, though maybe his wallet... "Let's catch this specimen. Better than leaving it to attack more hatchlings." He decided upon, after recalling how the fighting type tried to knock out his young Hoppip. How cruel of it to even think of such an action. He took out a spare Pokeball while the Shieldon stared it down, judging whether it was going to make any funny movements during the battle. The older man threw the Pokeball at the Timburr, aimed right at its large wooden plank. They were one and the same, so it would work. Kindle seemed curious at what he was doing, and climbed into his dark hair to get a better view of the action. { Acetate } (Defense MAX) Ability: {Sturdy: Not able to faint from 1-Hit KO moves} Level: 22 Moves: Take Down, Protect, Body Slam, Scary Face, Taunt, Metal Sound, Iron Defense, Blizzard WaitsPokeball Used on Weakening Timburr { Kindle } Level: 1 Exp.ShareClamperl egg post 4

The Pokéball struck the Timburr and it was sucked inside, but despite it’s weakness, it still struggled to escape from the capsule. Roaring as it was dragged inside; it rocked once, and shivered. Then again, and it shuddered more violently, before it rocked a third time...
Silence.
The Pokéball settled down on the earth and relaxed, the spiky dildo lying motionlessly on the ground a short way away. For a moment, suddenly the Timbur popped out, glared at the Trainer as if he were going to discard it, picked up the dildo and vanished back inside his Pokéball. Hell, he wasn’t giving it up!

The Pokeball seemed to work, and the Shieldon let out a sigh of relief. All of that anxiety during the battle took a number out on him, and he slowly waddled towards Seamus and the Hoppip, just to make sure they were unharmed from the battle. <More eggs, sir?> He asked with a confused tilt of his head, admiring the blue egg shell that Seamus had in his arms. This was about the third egg he had seen his trainer hatch, and it seemed to be in good condition. Something told him that it would take a little longer to hatch though, but everything seemed good for the moment. "You did a satisfactory job." Honestly Seamus didn't think that Acetate would win that one, but all of those Iron Defenses and the Timburr's stupidity made it an easier win. He felt tempted to give the Shieldon a rewarding pat on the head, but instead awkwardly returned the happy steel type back into its sphere. He would need Acetate's energy while he still had it later, especially in this city. "You know, Kindle. I'm surprised we haven't seen any rats yet." He gave the grass type a rub on the head, duly noting the experience share that rested there. Actually, a Raticate wouldn't be so bad to have around. Maybe he'd run into one one of these days. { Kindle } Level: 1 Exp.ShareClamperl egg post 5

Seamus stopped at the sight of a Raticate trying to eat an apple core, but to no avail. Talk about irony, right? He sighed, holding the egg in his one arm tighter while his other hand grasped an official looking suitcase-- because seriously, only 10 year old trainers carried around 'backpacks'. Kindle twitched at the sight of the hungry, lonely ghost but saw no reason to be frightened of her. Instead he smiled with a playful tail wiggling right behind him, thinking the Gastly was silly and friendly. "Why are you complaining? Dead things don't eat." He commented, having no time to take out his Pokedex to even scan the creature. His hands were full enough as it was, and he had heard many ghost stories about Gastlys as a kid. He didn't care too much for them, but he knew about trainers that would be interested in something a bit higher leveled. "Well, there's a Mcdonalds over there. Want a happy meal? It comes with a toy." Gosh, he wouldn't mind a few fries himself. There was a line with two people in it, but it wouldn't be a long wait at all, if the Gastly was patient. Kindle's stomach growled a little at the scent of food, and Seamus had a feeling that he was going to have to go there whether the Gastly wanted it or not. { Kindle } Level: 1.5 Exp.ShareClamperl egg post 6 ooc: ...I love rping in the cities. McDonald's? Happy Meal? What were these weird things the boy was talking about? Gastly peered from the Hoppip to the trainer, an incredulous look on her spooky face. <Toy? What? I'm just hungry.>
Dead things don't eat? Tell that to the Gastly's stomach. It growled then, gas rippling around her as it did so. So hungry. Why couldn't she eat? It just didn't make sense. Whilst she felt this craving for food, there was no way she could trick and manipulate people. It was pitiful really.
She turned her large eyes to fix on Seamus's face. <Food?>
She would go with him; she hovered over his shoulder to prove this - so long as it meant she'd get food.

At the Mcdonalds Line...Two of Seamus's Pokeballs randomly glowed for a moment, before settling down. He seemed to notice, but paid no mind to it. Maybe it was one of those random contests he entered, and the extra levels were sent to his Pokémon. Finally. The Gastly seemed needy for a good meal, and well, it was going to get a junk food meal. It tasted good, but it was bad for your health. Considering the Gastly was dead, it didn't have to worry about 'health' except when in battle. He hid the egg away in his suitcase for the time being, wrapping it up in a soft blanket so nothing in the said case would damage the shell. The line moved up, and it was his turn. Finally. "Well, I'll get the Mac Snack Wrap. An orange juice for my Hoppip...and what do you like? Meat? Vegies?" God, Gastlys didn't need to eat. She looked like she needed something, but he doubted it was edible food she needed. If this was going to turn out to be some kind of corny 'My soul is hungry for love so I need it to live' kind of thing, he was ditching this thing right now. { Kindle } Level: 1.5 Exp.ShareClamperl egg post 7/15

The smell of the place, the food... how come she had never been in here before? Her large eyes stared at the food, being prepared at the back. So... much... food. Her tongue was hanging out now as she started to float over the counter. It wouldn't be a problem if she just went in and... helped herself, right? Places like these, they provided food for pokemon like her! Besides, with a human on her side, she would be a-ok. <Meeeeaaaaat~>
Unfortunately the people working there had a different thing in mind. "Hey, if your pokemon is going to behave like this, maybe you should 'ball it," said a young boy still in his teens, probably working his first job. "Any trouble it causes will be on your bill."

At the Mcdonalds Line...With the Clamperl egg in his suitcase, resting happily in a blanket, Seamus was forced to endure the Gastly's unrefined behavior. Even worse, Kindle was starting to mimic it. His helicopter shaped leaves twisted around and around as he floated next to the Gastly, trying to sound out the words she was saying. <Mmmmm!> Was the most he could do, but he was freaking adorable as he grinned at the ghost. "It's a wild Gastly, apparently it can't eat what's on the streets." He commented to the boy, and he glared at the ghost for being such a brat. Why did it have to come down to this? "Here's the cash. Give it meat. Now." He demanded, not caring if he was 5pd over the actual price. <Nnnn~!> Kindle mimicked, hopping up and down on the desk with too goofy a face to even sound remotely strict like Seamus. The old man's eyes just twitched, knowing nothing could be done right now. "And god damn I hope you remembered my order." He said bitterly, wondering why they hadn't written down what he had already said by now. { Kindle } Level: 1.5 Exp.ShareClamperl egg post 8/15

The Wild Gastly gave an approving nod as she maneuvered her way over through the cashiers and to the food. Her petite and transparent body quickly transformed into the image of a hefty Jynx, ”GIVE ME FOOD.” she portrayed the ice pokemon as the ghost maneuvered her body to make the image of the Jynx do certain things. She ran out after creating this huge commotion and laughed as she ran away, being the little trickster that she was, she knew that it was a low-end comedy prank, but the Gastly enjoyed every minute of it. The ghost pokemon disappeared back into the route, hungry and looking for something to eat.
However, the ghost pokemon had left a little present outside. A rare candy was laying on the street, just calling out for the trainer to come and pick it up. But, wait? What was this? A rogue Raticate appeared and saw the candy, he was just about to pick it up.

"Hmth." Seamus shrunk away as the Gastly pulled some make-believe shit that he didn't have the tolerance for. But who cared, he had his meal, Kindle was playing with his happy meal toy and everything was calm. Except for that particular McDonalds, but his face was hidden behind his glasses, and who would remember him in a day? Yeah everything was legit, that Gastly was ditched. Apparently there was some Raticate trying to get a Rare Candy, and Seamus felt like being a bit of a jackass after that Gastly ticked him off. Time to experiment with rat behavior, as from what he knew, most rats were skittish and ran away from a threat. Unless you cornered them. "Neon sonicboom that Rare Candy to bits." He ordered as he sent out his Magnemite, who appeared with an uncaring buzz. Kindle blinked as he looked at this new Pokemon, not sure what to make of this situation. The Magnemite didn't hesitate in sending a high pitched sound towards the candy, just to knock it out of the Raticate's grasp and into the crowd of people. What a waste of a rare candy, regardless, the Raticate rushed over and ate it right as the sonicbom was used, the rat pokemon smiled as he gained one level. It was now time for the both of them to battle, the Raticate had just been doing a patrol of his area and this fiend had decided to come up all in his space. As a mark of his territory, the Raticate opened up his leg and fired his piss all over a nearby trashcan clearly marking that this was his spot. +Leave now! Before I destroy you.+ he said as he bared his fangs and walked closer to the trainer, trying to intimidate the fool.

As the Raticate ate the Rare Candy anyways and had signs of aggression, Seamus only shrugged. Well, he didn't see that first part coming, but it couldn't be helped. Did he actually want to pick a fight with this rat? Yes, since he couldn't explore much of Cheyenne if his Pokemon were too weak to keep up with the route levels. At the moment, they could tolerate things, yet he knew that they still had to grow stronger. How else could he complete his private jobs if his own team couldn't keep up with them? He sighed in annoyance, but decided to play along with the Pokemon Trainer routine for now. Neon had the perfect foe to face, without worrying too much about fainting. The only problem was the foe's quickness and accuracy for attacks. Ah well. "Supersonic it." He ordered, feeling the egg in his suitcase make thumping sounds as it was being warmed. Whatever was in it, it was starting to get ready to hatch. He had his ears open for it, despite the loud sound Neon made as she cried out an unemotional Supersonic at the Raticate. A confused Raticate was probably the worst type of Raticate there was... Soon the large rat was hit with a supersonic and his mind started to feel very numb and weird as the attack hit him. The Raticate angrily decided to give Neon a face to show how angry he was for the Magnemite not leaving the region. The weird thing was, the face he gave wasn't too different from his normal face... Both were equally as scary because this Raticate was just simply that ugly. The Raticate then attempted to rush at the Magnemite and attack him. But behold, he took a step and quickly tripped and bite himself on the lip. >Ouch!< He screamed as he bit himself. A little pee fell right into his body and he began to soil himself a bit. >EW!< He yelled again. He was not happy that the trainer did not leave. But he was excited for this opportunity to "DESTROY" the trainer. ::Raticate:: (CONFUSED) Summary: Hit by Supersonic. Used Scary Face. Hit self in Confusion.
