{desc=ran out of room in the title! [mod]}There was no way in hell-- frozen over or not-- that Amanda was going to let some “Ranger” catch her first Pokémon. It would probably be some stupid caterpie or something. Not a chance. However, the Labratory probably had a good choice of Pokemon, and she could easily pick the BEST choice.
She had been travelling all night though, and her feet dragged as she made her way to the Professor's lab. It was early morning now, and after a long night of sneaking off she didn't even have her makeup applied and her hair was probably a mess. It was aggrivating, but she doubted it really mattered.
After all, who really cared what you looked like when you got your first Pokémon from some old guy who--
Her brain stopped rather quickly as soon as she walked into the Lab and caught site of the Professor. At least, she thought it was the professor. She blinked, surprised that he wasn't just some old coot. Actually, she was very surprised to find how bright his hair actually was, and well, he probably wasn't that young, but he seemed... mmm.
She shook her head slightly, and then called out to the man, “Professor Winter? I'm here for my starter!” With any luck, she'd get the best starter there was, and then nothing could stop her. It was simple, really.

Professor Winter ! Winter had been sipping hot coffee, wrapped all up in a woolen blanket to keep warm from the chilly cold outside. The windows were shuttered, so he couldn't tell if it was snowing or not, but it probably was. He sighed and continued to sip his cocoa when suddenly he heard the door open, causing him to swallow it rather quickly. Burned his tongue a little, but oh well. He managed to toss the blanket off of him, place the cup on the desk, and look like he was working before the trainer caught sight of him. He pretended to scribble something down before he heard her voice calling him out. Pressing the pen down on the table, he looked up at her and smiled warmly.
"Ah, sorry about that. I was a little busy with these files." He pointed at the stack of letters from his family and friends, putting on a poker face as he did. "Anyway, there's a list right here of the available pokemon I have." He said, picking an old, worn looking list and handing it to her. It had pictures and stats of all the choices.

A look of pure glee lit up on Amanda's face as she took the paper and started to see just what Pokemon were on the list. The first, Cyndiquil, a good Pokemon but way too common for a starter. The following Pokemon were easy enough to guess, a water type, grass, electric... Baltoy looked interesting, especially considering it knew Solar Beam-- but then her eyes fell on the magestic monster on the list.
“Mewtwo?” Her breath caught in her throat as she read the name aloud. Her eyes shifted upwards to the Professor, as she repeated a bit louder, “Really, a Mewtwo?”
What she wouldn't give for such a powerful legendary Pokemon. It wasn't the cutest or best looking Pokemon, with it's pale purple skin and bulgy fingers... But no one messed with a Legendary like Mewtwo. And to have one as a starter? She would be invincible. Her lips-- pale pink instead of the usual, bright makeup she often had on-- curled up in a smile at first before growing to a grin. It would be so easy to get the best team with a Pokemon like that.
“Hell, if it's true, sign me up. I'd love a Mewtwo.”

Professor Winter ! Professor Winter nibbled on the tip of the pen briefly before he was greeted by a group of Pokémon from the back room. It was a Throh and Cyndaquil at first, but then danced a Minun that chirruped with glee as he passed and headed through to the kitchen. He deftly swiped some chocolate cake and vanished again.
“Throh, please give our guest the Pokéball for Mewtwo,” Professor Winter smiled. “Cyndaquil, the Pokémon Starter Pack if you please.”
Both Pokémon rushed off and gathered the items before Cyndaquil tied the bag onto Amanda’s shoulder with a smile. The old Throh, which was quite pissy, threw a random Pokéball taken from the stores at Amanda and promptly kicked her out of the lab with a bestial snarl. Ugh! Dumb people always wanting the Mewtwo! Looks like you should have chanced the lab instead. That Pokemon you didn't want from the ranger station? - you just got it. Welp, that sucks.
Woah! You just got kicked out of the lab by a grumpy old Throh with a beard!
Well, at least you obtained your Starter Pack and Starter! ...Right? x 1 x 1 x 1 x 5 x 3 x1 Your Starter is...!::Caterpie:: Lev. 5 Attacks: Tackle, String Shot Quirk: Horny - tries to hit on his/her trainer all of the time, regardless of gender.

-- woah OKAY.
Picking herself off from the ground, Amanda's brows pushed together and a scowl grew over her face. She had just spent ALL night trying to get to this place, after sneaking out, and she was tired as hell. And this stupid Pokemon just decided to chuck her right on outside?
Ugh! It was completely disgraceful AND rude, and she had half a mind to send out her Mewtwo just to throw the damn Throh around with its physic powers. Of course, it was the Professor's Pokemon, so she probably wouldn't do that, simply because he probably had a lot too deal with and the battle might destroy the lab a bit.
Grumbling, she still decided to send out the Mewtwo she had obtained. She was so excited to meet her St--
what.
What the fuck.
That was not a Mewtwo. She knew what a Mewtwo looked like-- and not just from the shiny little picture on the board either.
It was a Caterpie. Okay, if it was a Cyndaquil or whatever, that would have been fine. Yet, Amanda couldn't HELP but be completely pissed off at the fact she had A) been thrown out and B) been given a terrible Pokemon. Anything would have been better than a Caterpie! Well, except a Magikarp she supposed.
To make things worse the Caterpie was squirming its way up her leg like a little freaky bug. She didn't normally have problems with bug Pokemon, but this one was ON her now and she couldn't stand it!
"PRO!-FFES!-SOR! WIN!-TERRRRRRRR!" She shouted at the building, not risking trying to go in only to have to pick a fight with the Throh (she loved fighting but knew better than to start something with a fighting type Pokemon at least).
