It was very good news for Abram, he would be able to start the beginning, the founding of this organization. ”No way.” he mindlessly commented as he listened to Sam explaining everything about the academy opening. The Skitty purred as she enjoyed her company back on Sam’s lap. It was funny how kitty’s looked for and seeked attention, it just brought a huge smile to Abram’s face. ”That’s really good to know. But, here’s my number.” Abram said handing his number to Sam, ”I’m so focused with training sometimes that I don’t notice how quickly time flies. Would you do me a favor and call me when it’s about to open or is open? I’d love to take some time to go down there and ask if I could be a part of the organization. It just seems like a good idea.” Abram commented looking at Sam and back at Kayla, wondering if Sam would actually call him so he could join.
ooc - yay; interaction thread :'D kind of exactly what I wanted. huzzah ?

He simply did not know how Abe figured it out and put it together... He thought he was actually being very sneaky with it but that did not seem to be the case as the trainer somehow knew that Sam was a leader of Ace or had some connection. Maybe it was because he revealed too much or something else.
"Okay." Sam simply said, trying not to give more away. He just hoped that somehow, Abe thought he was like a member or something. Not the actual leader. But he sort of trusted the kid now and grew to respect him a bit. He thought Abe would make an excellent addition to the team, so having his card probably wouldn't hurt. He was strong definitely, and something new as he was a coordinator in a city filled with trainers. He respected the trainer and quickly put the card away.
But it just kept eating at him so he had to ask. Possibly giving more away now. "I have to ask, how did you know I'm connected to them?" He blurted out. He just couldn't keep it in any longer. |

Honestly, Abram had no idea of what Sam was. He just assumed that Sam was going to be the same as him, and try to find it when he had time and Abram was just a lazy fuck. A grim smirk appeared as he laughed to himself, being totally oblivious helped sometimes. ”Um, I really had no idea man.” he said with a shrug.
”I honestly, just thought that you were ambitious like me and would try to find it when you get less busy. I was just lazy and when you found it, I was going to ask you about it. But, you just have a lot of knowledge. I kind of just assumed you had an idea of joining them? I don’t know man.” he finished shrugging still not looking too much into them, Sam was strong but Abe still considered like a PR man, not the leader. Not that he wasn’t strong enough, but because he still had no idea of what the team really was.

"Well now you know. I am a member of Ace Academy. Although there are only a few of us now as we have not yet gone public so keep it on the down low." He said with a smile to Abe. The person seemed cool though and he felt like he could trust him a bit more now. And he was also curious to see if Abe was also hiding something himself, and if he was going easy on Sam this entire time. He saw the relationship and bond that Abe had with his Glameow which made Sam think that there was nothing else to him. But then again, he had that bond with Kayla and she was one of his weakest pokemon.
Sam quickly shrugged and decided to give him a test try. "Hey um. I was just curious. Can I see your strongest pokemon?" He asked. The boy had charisma, and he was somewhat impressive so far. And best of all, he was trustworthy. Now Sam just wanted to know if he was strong. Sure power wasn't everything and as of now, Abe looked like a perfect candidate for Ace. But since Sam was already spending his time meeting this guy, he might as well see if he had the strength to advance further, or just be one of the many members that Ace would have. Since they weren't Team Death and would not look to kick anyone out from joining if they so chose to do so. |

It felt nice to have a real conversation with someone, this Sam dude was a person that Abram could actually see himself being really good friends with. ”Oh.” he had his revelation, not realizing everything and it slowly being put altogether. Abram felt a little silly for being that oblivious, ”Got it. Sorry, for some reason it didn’t hit me. But don’t worry Sam, I’m not going to say anything.” Abam finished before nodding and biting his bottom lip, he wouldn’t tell a soul about the Ace Academy.
”Strongest? Err.” Abram trailed off as he hesitantly pulled out one of his eldest friends, it was a little bit of a long story but his Kol (Arbok) was one of his very first pokemon friends back in his home region, he trained with him for a while and his brother had wanted to train him. Abe let his brother train his pokemon and take him out, and he finally got his buddy back and he’s been super defiant and high-leveled, Abram constantly tried to rekindle his connection but it was evident that his Arbok wouldn’t try anything until his pokemon were higher. ”He was one of my first real pokemon, my brother took him for a bit and I don’t know what he did but I’m still trying to figure out him.” Abram said as he released his Arbok and the aggressive poison type gave Sam a glare before coiling his tail around Abram.
”Hi Kol.” the coordinator smiled scared for his life, the Arbok quickly used Ice Fang on his tail and smashed it on the ground, showing off his power and arrogance to the both of them. ”Kol; I know. I’m trying. Just wait, I can prove myself to you soon.” he said looking back at Sam, ”He is definitely my strongest pokemon, but he’s also my most defiant. The others actually listen to me.” Abe laughed with a shrug, all trainers had some sort of issues sometimes, right?

"Damn! The power of that snake is scary!" He said out loud to Abram as he looked on in appreciation. "And I'm glad that it's your most defiant. At the academy we look to train people not only to be better trainers, but also to improve the bond they share with their pokemon. I think you will fit in just fine." He said to Abe although he was really curious at how strong the pokemon was at the moment... He really wanted to know for himself and also put his Shelgon to the test as he quickly took out Toothless' pokeball and threw it on the field.
"I'm just curious. Can we try them out?" He asked Abe, hoping to see exactly how strong the Arbok really was. He could tell it was stronger than Toothless, but to what extent he had no idea.

Was this a good idea? Biting his lip, he looked over to Sam and then at his Arbok who heard the idea and spat acid on the floor showing his worth with how quicklyt he acid ate through the floor. He hadn’t stretched his battling skills for a bit, Arbok looked back at Abram and gave him the answer he needed. ”I like that; and with Kol, he’s okay with it. I just, I don’t know what he’s capable of. I haven’t, He hasn’t let me see his real full potential.” Abram admitted with a little shame, the coordinator looked at Toothless and then back at Kol. ”Go, I guess?” his voice raised slightly afraid with what was going to happen.
The Poison snake wasted no time with hellos as he slithered quickly to his opponent, sending out a screech at the Shelgon, huge circles of sound waves were shizzing through the air making a piercing noise as it tried to hit the dragon. Next he coated his teeth with ice, his breath already showing frost leaving a small cold trail as he slithered. In one quick movement he used his teeth like a blade, trying to slide the ice on the Shelgon’s hard shell.
ooc- nah take levels.

The speed was ridiculous on the Arbok as it quickly caught Toothless off guard and in one quick swoop it demolished the pokemon like no other as the poor dragon fell on the floor and was unable to continue any longer. "Wow! That was my strongest pokemon too... Your Arbok is truly impressive. I think Ace Academy will be lucky to have a trainer who has a pokemon that strong!" He said, definitely remembering the name Abe from now on after that showcasing.
"You are seriously impressive. I will definitely let you know when Ace launches!" He smiled as he returned Toothless who was simply demolished so quickly. "And your Arbok, although a bit unorthodox is super strong!" He said, acknowledging just how impressive Kol was.

”Thanks,” Abram shrugged unsure if he should take compliments for all the work that his brother had done. Kol looked back at Abram, and shook his head sliding his way back to his trainer and hit his head against his pokeball going back into his little home. Kol really liked Abram as a coordinator, but he didn’t deserve his power. If it was something that Abe’s brother had taught the poison type about what power can do to a person, it can corrupt even the purest of men and this worried Kol, he didn’t want this to happen to Abram.
Looking at Sam, ”Thanks man. It was great to meet you, I gotta get back now but please, once it opens call me. I’ll be looking forward to it.”
ooc - done ~
