After the battle, Jay had a very small sense of hope but the Elite known as Nigel wasn’t even considered one of his real opponents. ”Fuck.” Jay muttered as he looked at Hunter, a huge flashback hit him as Jay remembered his first ever girlfriend, Sandra, and Hunter was the person who stripped her of her tails. The Ninetales morph called out and all Jay had was a strange rivalry with the guy that he recalled from all those years ago. ”Okay.” the challenger said walking over to the Joy who quickly healed all his Pokémon with an amazing machine that let them heal in a matter of moments. Jay got all his Pokémon back and looked at his first true trainer, ”Well. Double battle works for me.” Jay said as he unclipped his first two pokeballs and threw them onto the pokeball.
The first Pokémon that appeared was his Giratina, Angela in origine form and the Light Blastoise took her side. The both of them looked at each other and then at Jay, they both knew where they were and it was time for them to prove why they were able to make it this far.

Hunter was more than prepared to bring this competitor of his down into the ground, as with most challengers that dared to approach him. These days he had little to do in the work department, especially after the big Power Plant blow out when he had to capture Blaze at Professor Winter’s command. It was something he managed to do easily, but it was the only thing worth mentioning in recent times. There had been little reason to train his Pokemon when hardly anyone was worthy enough to go against him in battle, though to be fair, the other E4 were much stronger than he was. They weren’t worth fighting, at least knowing their busy schedules. It would’ve been too much of a pain to get his ass handed to him on a silver platter from the stronger elites. Upon hearing Jay’s voice, he silently nodded and accepted the double battle that was being presented to him. The two foes looked strong—way too strong, at least for him. Oh well, he’d at least give the trainer a warm up. ”I hope you have items.” He warned the trainer, possibly a hint at the lack of healing going on between each E4 member. Items were easy to access and buy though, so that shouldn’t have been too much of an issue as long as the trainer had the resources. Nigel might’ve been nothing compared to him, but apparently the wimpy troll elite managed to take out a few of this guy’s Pokemon. That gave Hunter a bit more confidence as he revealed his first two Pokemon out of three; his Tyrannitar and Metagross, both roaring as they stood side by side. ”Three Pokemon each.” Hunter informed Jay, not willing to use more Pokemon than that in battle. ”Magnet Rise and Dragon Dance.” Hunter’s voice was calm as he made the first two move selections of the battle, planning on doing the most damage he could in a short amount of time. Metagross was soon hovering like a UFO while his Tyrannitr danced vigorously, looking murderous at the challenge the battle brought. ”Earthquake, then Psychic on the Blastoise.” The combination of attacks would hopefully be good for a first turn, especially with Earthquake striking all foes. The earth rumbled upon Hunter’s command, while the Metagross hissed and fired off a Psychic against the water type. ::tyranitar:: Tyrannitar || Level 72 || Female Ice Fang | Dragon Dance Stone Edge | Earthquake | Torment Payback | Screech | Thunder Fang Dragon Dance and Earthquake!

As soon as the foe spoke, he knew that he was lucky that he had bought a few items, and if not he could always attempt to get some more. If anything, one of his loyal lacky pokemon could run to get it. It was a sneaky tactic, but it would work. Placing his finger over his Jellificent’s pokeball, if things began to get hectic he would have to send her off. The elite four member released his pokemon, and Jay only hoped that he would be able to do his best and prove to his pokemon that they were really ready to be here. To take the crown and be part of the few pokemon masters of Cheyenne. ”fuck.” Jay mumbled under his breath as he saw the magnet rise being used, in his head he had it all planned out to evenly take out the both of them but now. His best option would be to just destroy the Tyranitar as quickly as possible. ”Okay guys. Mizu Rain Dance and Hydro Pump the Tyranitar. Earth Power on the Tyranitar, Angela.” he called out just as his opponents were using their attacks.
The only pokemon that got hit by the Earthquake was Blastoise, the large rumbling underneath him as he fell onto his shell taking a decent amount of damage, the level difference was obvious though. The Psychic was used next on the Blastoise and he was being slammed into the ground continuously by the psychic powered move. This really just pissed off Mizu as he stood back up a bit disoriented and shot his rain dance into the sky causing it to start drizzling. He then set his cannons on the Tyranitar and sent out a huge Hydro Pump at the foe. To only make matters worse, Angela let out a fierce shriek before she used Earth Power using the ground beneath the Tyranitar to attack its legs. The leftovers that Mizu was holding restored just a little bit of his health.

This was tricky, especially after witnessing firsthand how much damage Jay's Pokemon took. The level disadvantage he was at was astounding, and Hunter didn't think that he'd be able to last very long in this match at all. Seeing the weather change only made things worse, wincing when he lost his defense boosts for his two Pokemon. Suddenly Tyrannitar was being ganged up on, and Hunter had little choice but to use that Dragon Dance to their advantage. "Dodge the Hydro Pump, and then use Payback." It was their only option, really. If that water attack hit, then he would've been a shameful step closer to losing the match. It could not happen, not when Jay was up against the pros. The Tyrannitar skillfully dodged the over powered water attack, only to get rammed in by a bunch of floating rocks. It hurt like hell, feeling herself go down to less than half of her remaining health from the hit. She couldn't help but grumble out a complaint, not used to this type of power at all. At least it was useful for her vengeful Payback, coating herself in a dark aura as she raged towards the Giratina, fully intent on beating Angela's ass. All that left was Metagross, disappointed at being soaked in the rain all by himself. "Iron Defense, then Zen Headbutt on the Blastoise." Best to at least try and attack both of them, while getting their defenses up. With grunt, the Metagross gained a metallic coating, boosting his defenses while giving him a silvery sheen that would prove useful in battle. It was then that he charged after the giant turtle, focusing his psychic abilities in his head as he used the flinch-inducing move.
