Azita started moving down the path, holding her egg in her arms that she bought curiously. "What will you be...." she asked rhetorically before moving her attention to the route itself. It was fairly pretty, as all the trees were already changing colors and creating quite a colorful display. Taking a deep breath, she smiled at the view she had. "I have a feeling this path will definitely be good." she said, smiling at the egg. Choice Egg ( Rotom) Post 1

Earlier that day, her egg had gone missing. The Pidgey was frantic, with her mate helping her to search. They’d split up in the hopes of covering more ground. It was clear that an Ekans had raided the nest when they’d been out hunting, but the Pidgey was in denial. She refused to accept that her unborn chick had been devoured by some slimy, ugly snake! So when she saw the Trainer holding the Rotom Egg, she grew desperate. That was her egg, right? Azita would give it to her, right?
“My egg!” The Pidgey screeched, making several hidden Pokémon flee. They knew that an upset Pidgey who had misplaced her egg was as dangerous as a cornered and injured Pokemon. They wanted no part of this. She landed a short distance in front of Azita, her eyes brimming with tears, though she didn’t seem hostile. “Please give me my egg back!” ::Pidgey:: Female & 7 Keen Eye & Tangled Feet Tackle & Sand Attack Her egg was eaten by an Ekans. Azita saw the pidgey staring at her egg and realized it thought it was her egg. The fact the Pidgey could not find her egg could have meant something had happened. She REALLY didn't want to outright say no to the bird pokemon, but she would've felt bad for it. "I'm sorry, but this isn't your egg. If you'd like, I could help you search." she said, tapping her finger on her egg. Reaching into her bag for a pokeball, she pressed the button to let out the pokemon inside it. Soon, her Torchic hopped out and started walking around. <So you need help finding your egg? Let's GO!> he said, enthusiastically. Quickly rushing to a nearby bush, he shoved his head inside to see if the egg wasn't in there. ::Torchic:: Level: 5 Gender: Male Ability: Blaze Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Agility Choice Egg (Rotom) Post 2

Female & 7 Keen Eye & Tangled Feet Tackle & Sand Attack Her egg was eaten by an Ekans. Desperate but not violent. Thinks the Rotom egg is her egg. Delusional. "No you don't understand though!" she shouted, with the tears running down her face as she said this; how could the trainer be so cruel and refuse to give her back her baby to her? Surely he must have a heart inside him and realise he was being cruel by refusing to return the baby egg to its mother. "The egg you have. It isn't yours. You must of picked it up form the ground, which in that case it's my baby!" she said, before she curled into a ball on the floor. Oh great, now she was also delusional as well, by making up some strange things as well. She didn't uncurl from the ball she was in, which meant she wasn't following the torchic at all. She was so distressed at what was happening, all she wanted was her baby back; to hug it, to kiss it, too keep it safe from now on. When she got it back, she was determined not to let it out of her sight again.

Azita grimaced lightly at the Pidgey's reaction. She felt as if there would have to be a battle, but she had to at least try to make them understand. "This egg? No, I'm telling you it's not yours. I would never pick up an egg from the ground, let alone a nest." she stated further, holding the egg respectfully. It definitely was not the Pidgey's egg, but the bird was so focused on finding her egg that she did not see that. Asad popped his head out of the bush to see if the Pidgey was looking, and saw that she was curled up in a ball, looking stressed. He walked as quickly as he could over to her with a big smile. <I know what would cheer you up. A BIG hug.> he said, attempting to hug the bird with his wings. He was oblivious to what was going on, and figured she just needed some love. ::Torchic:: Level: 5 Gender: Male Ability: Blaze Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Agility Choice Egg (Rotom) Post 3

The distraught mother bird let out a choked sob when Azita claimed the egg was not hers. It had to be! Where else would the Trainer have got the egg from? She uncurled from her protective ball and squawked with surprise when Asad hugged her. Something must have snapped inside the Pidgey, because she suddenly clung to the Torchic as though it were her egg, and refused to let it go.
“My baby,” she sobbed, “You’re my baby!” Lol something about this Pidgey seems odd. It must be a crackpot escaped from the local mental institution or something. At least that’s what it seemed like, and what seemed to be confirmed when a rustling in the bushes revealed two heavy looking Spearow. Bodyguards, perhaps? Upon seeing the two, she held the Torchic even tighter, lying on her beck. “I found my baby!” She claimed, though the Spearow obviously took this with scepticism. “I don’t need to go back. Honestly!”
“Yeah, um,” one Spearow had a deeper voice, and looked to the Trainer. “We’ve been searching for this one since she smuggled herself out of the Route One Mental Institution in an empty crisp bag this morning... Sorry if she’s troubled you at all.” But wait, the Pidgey didn’t look as though she were going to go peacefully. The Bodyguards couldn’t harm her unless she tried to cause danger to others, and excessive force was prohibited... How exactly were they going to take the Pidgey back?

Azita gave a forced smile, as she learned the situation. The Pidgey escaped a mental hospital? That made her feel extremely nervous, as its never good when an insane patient escaped. On top of that, one of her pokemon is being held tightly by the patient themself! Azita needed to get her Torchic back. "Asad. Please get away from the Pidgey. This way the other birds can deal with the situation" she said, clutching the egg tighter. After the information, she wants the bird not even close to her egg. Asad tried to break out of the hug, but couldn't due to how tight the bird pokemon was hugging back. <Umm...You're gonna hurt me. I'd like to be let go now...> he said, trying to wriggle away for a bit. He just wanted to give the Pidgey a hug, and now is possibly being held hostage. <Hugs are not meant to be so tight.> he said, not fully realizing what was going on.\ ::Torchic:: Level: 5 Gender: Male Ability: Blaze Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Agility Choice Egg (Rotom) Post 4

"Shush little one. Everything is going to be ok now." she said as she wrapped her wing tighter around the torchic, ignoring everything he said, as the image in her mind was of a baby pidgey instead. "If you take me away from my baby, you breaching my human rights! You can't do that to my baby pidgey now can you?" she squawked, hugging the torchic tighter. The spearow looked at each other before shaking their heads; they knew that something had to be done, before she reached the critical stage. "Sir, I'd like you to stand back for the minute please. Things could get very nasty from now on." the skinnier spearow said whilst holding up a wing, while the more bulkier one was slowly approaching the pidgey. "Now miss, why don't you hand over the...baby now and we'll give it a quick check over now please?" he said, holding out both wings.

Azita nodded and turned looked at her Torchic. "Okay. Let's get this pidgey some help. Asad, use Scratchl!" she said, pointing to the delusional bird. The Pidgey needed to get help, and unless she stepped in, the bird would just keep on trying to escape. She turned to the Spearows and hugged her egg. "I'll take care of this." she said to the other birds. Asad nodded and tried to get a footing. <Sorry, but you're hurting me.> he said with a happy chirp before attempting to scratch at the pidgey with his feet. He had to get out of there, and proceeded to let out an endearing growl to help loosen the grip. ::Torchic:: Level: 5 Gender: Male Ability: Blaze Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Agility Used Scratch and GrowlChoice Egg (Rotom) Post 5

What made matters worse was when the trainer had joined forces with the other birds, even the trainer was telling her baby to attack her. "No stop it now!" she screamed when she was struck by the scratch attack by the torchic, releasing her grip on him, which also sent her sprawling on the floor as well. "Please, just leave me alone." she sobbed, crying into her heathers, which left the spearows feeling quite awkward about this entire situation.

Azita sighed at the scene. Attacking obviously got Asad out of the Pidgey's grasp, but it made the bird pokemon cry, laying on the floor. "Come here, Asad. Let's let the Spearow here do there job now." she said picking up her Torchic in her left arm while holding the egg tightly in her right. She just couldn't let the Pidgey touch or even take her egg. Turning to the Spearows, she quickly nodded. "Sorry for that. You can take her back now if you'd like." she said, as she started to walk away. Asad just stared up at her, curiously. <She was a nice birdie. Too bad she was too clingy. I would've been her friend.> he chirped somewhat sadly looking back at the Pidgey. He wanted to give her a goodbye hug, but due to her clingy nature, it would've made it worse. Cheering up, he gave a light, happy chirp to his trainer. At least he could make friends with other pokemon in the route! ::Torchic:: Level: 5 Gender: Male Ability: Blaze Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Agility Choice Egg (Rotom) Post 6

From distantly down the path, a screech signalled that the Pidgey had been recaptured. As a result, the bushes around Azita started to rustle, then tremble until it was as if there were an earthquake approaching. A loud, obnoxious laugh sounded from nearby. From within the bushes, a Buizel shot out and darted straight past the Trainer without even pausing to say hi; he leapt over Azita and dashed away using a Quick Attack.
And seconds later, a Lotad burst out, looking very crazy and angry. "COME BACK HERE!" Roared the Lotad, trying to chase after the water type. "COME FIGHT ME YOU BASTARD!" He skidded to a halt in front of Azita and eyed the Torchic, and then broke into a grin. Oh, screw the Buizel, this one looked even stronger! Without waiting, he pushed forward and tried to whack the Torchic with an Astonish.

Azita flinched as the Buizel jumped over her, dropping Asad so that she could grab a hold of the egg, as it was slipping out from her arms from the scare. Out of nowhere, a Lotad that seemed a bit crazed jumped out and attacked Asad, making him jump. It kind of annoyed her after getting the Pidgey. However, some Pokémon were just that aggressive. "You want a battle? Okay. Asad, Agility and Scratch!" she said, holding the egg tight. Asad shook a little from the attack, but after the shivers he had went away, he nodded. <Okay~>" he chirped contently before running around quickly. After he reached his stop speed, he hopped up and flailed his tiny bird legs on the Lotad, trying to scratch it. <If attacking was your way of saying hi, then hello~> he said to the water/grass Pokémon. Used Seed Bomb! Oh hell yes! The bird pokemon wanted to fight as well! Oh what luck he had experienced here; especially against a strong looking pokemon. Just to show his toughness (or craziness), he took the scratch attack head on from the surprisingly fast pokemon, but he just shrugged that away for the time being. Closing his eyes, he began drawing power from the environment which he was in, which happened to be in a forest area, he began drawing in the power from it, before suddenly out of nowhere, from above the torchic, light green balls began raining down towards it, with the lotad glowing green as well.

Azita saw the orbs above Asad, and squeezed the egg tight. "Watch out! Above you!" she said, catching her Torchic's attention. Asad looked up and saw the green orbs start to fall towards him, and he hopped as fast as he could out from underneath the attack. Azita sighed, releasing the egg from the intense pressure she put on it. Checking to see if it was alright, she looked up. "Use Scratch!" she said before going back to check on it. Asad nodded and hopped above the lotad, trying to flail his legs more. <This is fun!> he chirped, not realizing he could get hurt during the battle. He proceeded to hop around the water/grass pokemon contently to a beat. Asad began to whistle along to the beat of his hopping, getting a facepalm from Azita. ::Torchic:: Gender: Male Ability: Blaze Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Agility (+2 Speed) Dodged Nature Power Used Scratch.Choice Egg (Rotom) Post 8

Wuh?~ The lotad couldn't believe that his battle perfect move had failed on him on this perfect looking failed bird! He was beyond livid, and it was so much that he actually forgot about the battle for a second, allowing himself to be struck by the attack, sending him backwards, completely surprised at how he actually felt the attack on his body. "GAH! TAKE THIS FAIL BIRD!" He shouted at the top of his lungs as he recovered from the attack; seconds later, he rushed forward and blinked rapidly in front of the torchic's face, trying to startle it. Maybe that would teach it not to mess with him anymore in this battle like that.

Azita exhaled angrily at the Lotad. Calling her pokemon a fail bird? She wasn't going to let it go so easily. "Assad, show this little bitch who's the one failing. Growl, and Scratch." she said, starting to get pissed off at the water/grass pokemon. Tapping the egg impatiently. She was hoping she could move on, further down the route. "What is up with this LOTAD." she thought to herself. Asad just tilted his head at both his trainer and the wild pokemon. <That's not nice, from either of you.> he said, with a tone of sadness in his voice. As much as he cared for his trainer, her choice of words were not good in his mind. He was so focused on what was said, he didn't notice the Lotad attacking him. Asad chirped nervously as the attack made him jump. Recovering from the scare, he let out a friendly chirp before attempting to scratch at the pokemon again. ::Torchic:: Gender: Male Ability: Blaze Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Agility (+2 Speed) Hit by Astonish. For most normal Pokémon the pain would have been enough to send them scurrying back, or at least make them think about defending themselves. But for this battle-starved Lotad, it only made him more eager to throw down this Torchic where he stood. The discussion didn’t interest him at all as claws raked down his face and he gritted his teeth as blood started flowing freely from his newly acquired injury.
“Yea-heahhh!” Howled the Lotad, who thrust his face into the Torchic’s before he could jump to safety. “You and I might just have some fun with this!” Pulling up his own stubby foot, he growled and tried to claw it into flinching. Well, he hadn’t really got any actual claws but as far as logic went, neither did a Diglett. “Come on, show me what you got!” The Lotad seemed to be enjoying this battle. The Buizel was long gone now, having used the opportunity of the Trainer being used as bait. It wasn’t his intention but oh well... Azita looked down at her egg, with slowly cracked open, before giving off a bright light. Soon, a smile crossed her face as a Rotom appeared and floated around her. "So you were in my egg. I'll name you Dua." she said contently as she turned to Asad. "Come back so we can see what Dua can do." she continued, as Asad quickly ran over. <Yay, a new friend!> he chirped contently before looking up at Azita curiously. <Did I come from an egg too?> he asked, completely curious, not sure what was going on. Rather than respond, Azita just laughed before looking up at Dua. "Wait for next round!> she said, as Dua floated there, creating static electricity that shot off here and there. ::Torchic:: Gender: Male Ability: Blaze Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Agility (+2 Speed)

The Lotad was preparing to evade the Torchic’s next attack, but when the egg started cracking open before any attacks came, he gazed at it. It was quite cool to see a Pokémon being born, but he didn’t give two shits, and instead prepared himself to attack the Torchic while he was distracted. It never came to that, though, because the Torchic was switched out, leaving the Lotad furious. Wat.
“Are you kidding me?” Howled the Lotad, “You expect me to battle a newborn! You’ll regret that!” With nothing really to attack the Ghost type with, he prepared his body and lunged at the Rotom, attempting to make it flinch with his Astonish. He knew that the ghost type attack would do a fair amount of damage on the Rotom since it was a type advantage, but he still hated the thought of having to switch his opponent. “Cowards!”
