Susumu was fine with dealing with a fainted Rattata, since it was probably a lot better than handling something larger. He could hardly imagine how he would deal with a fainted Charizard that didn't belong to him. How in the world would he even manage something like that? He didn't know, nor did he want to find out. He was fine enough having a tame little Rattata in his arms, and the sooner he brought it to Youngster Joey the better. "I think you're safe for now, Bo-Bo. Finish it off." He could probably catch the darn thing to end all of this, but he didn't have much of a need for another mischievous Psychic type like that. It would only give him hell in the long run.
The Proxim Gardens could allow this young Wynaut to abuse more trainers for another day, which was probably a bad choice on his part. Bo-Bo seemed rather relieved at the sight of her snoozing foe, as if a lot of tension was eased off of her in the battle. She probably wasn't going to gain the most levels from this thing, but she didn't mind. Training was never one of her favorite past times anyways. <You better let us go after this!> She huffed, as if she felt the stress of the battle getting to her brain and scrambling it all up.
"Use Growth then Acid. I think that'll finish it off." If it didn't finish the Wynaut off, then they could be patient enough to keep at it. It was hard to say when the psychic type would wake up, but it looked as if they had a little time to get away with things. Bo-Bo's leaves were directed to the sky as she absorbed what little light the rain allowed her to collect. It was enough of a boost to give her squirt of acid a much more potent sting upon contact. She couldn't help but smile creepily in relief, as if she relieved herself of body fluids that were simply wasting away within her. Gross.

The moment the Wynaut was knocked out was when everyone was freed from its terrible Shadow Tag ability! The funky psychic made walls vanished, granting them freedom to explore the rest of this giant maze of hedges in the garden. It was a good thing Susumu had Joey's Rattata, which wasn't actually his Rattata, but the less Susumu knew the more interesting this day was going to be. So far, Susumu and Bo-Bo though that this was going to be the final stretch of the area. "Man, almost there. You'll be with your trainer soon." Susumu muttered, patting the Rattata gently on its head as it continued to sleep. He recalled his own Rattata, and the girl that traded it to him as he wandered with Bo-Bo in the maze.
It was actually a rather hardy Pokemon to have around, yet he was hardly bound to get recognized if all he trained was Rattata and Bibarel. It simply made his team look bad, especially under the watchful eyes of Blaze. It didn't help that he already sucked and had to fight the stereotype of him sucking because of how he acted when he first joined. It simply did not help his case. At all. It was a shame that Susumu and Bo-Bo hardly noticed the Ralts as they wandered around, otherwise they probably would've asked him for directions.
<I...don't remember the way out.> Bo-Bo panted, looking around uncertainly as she felt the walls of the leafy hedges cave in on them. No matter where she looked, there was a freaking wall! After the stress of her previous battle, this was not doing her patience any good. "I think we're lost." Susumu muttered, also feeling confused as he walked into another dead end, not even sure how to reach the exit to find Youngster Joey at this point.

RATTATA & RALTS APPEARED ! Ralts cringed when the human came closer and passed, trembling in her hiding place, but they went right by without noticing. Once they were a good several paces ahead of her, she released the breath she was holding and crept carefully out from her place. At that moment when they passed by, the Feeling Pokemon managed to gauge their emotions; generally, they seemed hazy, apprehensive, lost. Maybe she couldn't feel that they were lost, but she could sort of infer it.
But she still didn't trust them. Perhaps there was some way to communicate directions to them, but how? Maybe telecommunication would do. But not from this far away; she'd have to get closer for it to work. Gulping, she started off after the trainer, thinking that helping him would benefit the both of them. He'd be out of the maze she called home. She was now walking behind him, feeling sick just by being so near. If he turned around... just one glance... She quelled the frightened feelings and channeled her energies into communicating to Susumu. "Take a left, then first right, then keep going until you reach the third right and follow that." The thought was quick, and as soon as she executed it she teleported the hell away in hopes that he wouldn't see her. Unfortunately, she did it too fast and ended up teleporting right into one of the hedges, trapped. Crap.
Ratito was chillin' in the place to be.

This wasn't getting them anywhere, though Susumu could feel as if they were getting closer to the exit. Each time they avoided a dead end and went further south, he could tell that they were getting somewhere. Now if only he could actually recognize the places he already walked through. He sadly didn't think that far ahead and only managed to feel his way through the maze only by relying on his gut. Perhaps he was a bit directionally challenged, but he didn't think that he'd have this much trouble getting out of here in the first place. Bo-Bo continued to remain faithful as she hopped tiredly by his side, making him feel a little bad for her. He didn't exactly want to be by himself when wandering around a maze where wild Persians lurked, having a feeling that the rest weren't as cowardly as the first one they met.
Fingers gently stroked behind the fainted Rattata's ears as he struggled to pick a new direction to go in. He was literally stuck this time, feeling as if he was going in circles. <I think we should ask for help...> Bo-Bo looked up at her trainer as a gentle drizzle continued to splash on their faces. It was a little refreshing, considering how it was getting warmer and how the snow was melting away. It was about time for the seasons to change! Susumu sighed at his Weepinbell's comments, knowing that she was getting tired. She wasn't the only one, as even he was feeling weary after wandering around for so long. It was then that a tiny little voice inside of his head told him where to go. What witchcraft was this? "...eh? Did you...hear that?" Susumu paused, looking around for the source of the voice. He could've sworn that he heard it in his head, but he could've been confused for all he knew.
Bo-Bo blinked in bewilderment at her trainer's change in actions, watching him with wide eyes. <Uh. No. It's completely quiet here.> She chirped, also looking around to make sure that her trainer wasn't going crazy. Sure enough, there was some kind of rustle going on in the hedges. Maybe her trainer wasn't as crazy as he seemed. <Looks like a Ralts.> Bo-Bo saw the tiny green child trapped in the hedges and instantly giggled, thinking that he looked rather cute squirming around like that. <I bet he talked to you in your head. They're good at that.> The Weepinbell had a few experiences with the species, understanding a little more what was going on here. She hopped right up to the spot where he was trapped and reached up with a leaf in an attempt to get him out, but he was a bit too high for her.
Susumu caught onto what she was doing though and his eyes trailed onto the trapped Ralt's form. "Aww, poor guy. Hang on, let me help." He smiled sympathetically towards the psychic type, holding the Rattata in one arm as he reached out towards the psychic type with another. Nothing wrong with helping out a Pokemon that was just passing by, at least in his mind. "You don't look too stuck." He commented, hands swerving through the leaves to try and free the Ralts from his position.

RATITO & RALTS APPEARED ! Ratito almost purred when he felt Susumu's warm fingers stroking his fur, comforting him. It inspired him then, and he launched into a speech. <Oh mind, how strange! That a mere touch can translate so many feelings - that thoughts, winged things, can exist! How odd it is that we can affect one another in this way!> He philosophized as though he were alone, his heart soaring with these elevated thoughts. It helped take his mind off the fact that they were lost.
Ralts, meanwhile, was panicking on the inside as he realized that he'd been spotted. He became more and more frantic as the Weepinbell tried to reach up and grab his legs, uttering little cries of distress - to whom, though? He really just wanted to be alone. It didn't take long for the enormous human to approach as well, and as he reached out one hand to help him, the Ralts screamed like a little girl. <Nooooooooooooo!> He cried as it came closer. The hand wrapped around him (if that was Susumu's intention) and pulled him as he flailed all the while, clearly out of his element.

It probably was a good thing that Susumu couldn't understand what was coming out of the philosophical Rattata's mouth, or else he'd probably be giving him the strangest of looks right now. Instead, Bo-Bo was giving the Rattata weirded out looks as she was suddenly distracted from the rescue mission they had. How did some kid's Rattata sound so educated and poetic? The thought nagged at her, but she decided not to over-analyze the situation. If she did, her head would probably burst. Susumu took the Rattata for being like some kind of affectionate cat, grinning as the fainted Pokemon stirred and woke up. Hey, these little guys were actually kind of cute.
Susumu managed to get his arm around the Ralts to scoop him out with his hand, wincing as he tried to get a good enough grip on the struggling Ralts. "Hang on, hang on. I'm just getting you out. Don't bite." Did they even have teeth? Probably, but he doubted that they were anything big and scary. The Ralts was at least free from that prision of a grass hedge, though the trainer nearly dropped him after juggling these two Pokemon. "Here, on the ground. You're fine." He crouched down to let the Ralts settle down on the ground next to his Weepinbell, not entirely sure if the psychic type would stick around after that.
<How did you manage to get stuck in there? Goodness.> The Weepinbell tried to brush some of the stray leaves off of the Ralts's head with nothing but good intentions. She didn't care about personal space for something like this! Besides, her OCD was kicking in. This Ralts wasn't allowed to go walking around as if it was some kind of jungle boy. <You wouldn't happen to know the way out, would you?> She asked, oblivious to how the Ralts told her trainer moments earlier.

He actually had no answer for it at all in the moment so he just could not help but stay and ponder about it deeply, and possibly come up with an explanation. The idea was kind of surprising to him, the whole concept of touch telepathy that he simply stood there and remained quiet at the moment as he pondered. It was almost like he was at home, forgetting that he was with company at the moment as he took to his own solace.
The Ralts at the other hand, felt a bit more safe and secure when Shamu pulled him out. But that was only until he almost dropped the thing, which made him freak out once again as the green pokemon decided to get closer and speak to him. As the pokemon came closer and asked him a question, he started to really freak out for real this time. >NOO!!! There is no way out! Please don't eat me! NOO!< He said.
Of course he did know a way out as he told it to Shamu just recently. But he blurted this out as he felt that if he told the Weepingbell what he wanted to know, it would have no use for him and would probably eat him. Or it would make him show them the way out, so it could eat him then...
At least he was too scared to flee right now.

At least the Rattata was being docile about the whole event, since the Ralts was sort of having a panic attack in his other hand. The last thing he needed was for the hysteria to flow from one Pokemon to the next, considering all of the work he put into finding this darn Rattata. Bo-Bo could only blink at the Ralts's panic attack, at first not knowing what to make of what he was saying until she tried to slither her leaves around the younger Pokemon for a forceful hug. If she had to, she was going to wrap this Pokemon right up until he could calm down. She made a pretty good straight jacket, even if she forgot how to use her Wrap attack. <Hang on, there has to be a way out. We got in here. Calm down, shhh.> She tried to soothe the Ralts in the best way she could, hoping that her words would be enough to calm the psychic type down.
Of course if it teleported then they were kind of screwed, since Susumu's mind was quickly losing the rest of the Ralts's instructions. All he really remembered was to go left, then it all became a blur. Maybe after he saw some kind of familiar landmark he'd figure the rest out, but until then they needed this Ralts in order to get out of here. "Don't choke it, sheesh. Maybe I can make it laugh." Susumu gave Bo-Bo a slightly scolding stare to make her back off a little as he went down on his knees, balancing the Rattata in one arm and his bag in the other. He had something that could probably change this situation right around, he could feel it!
He did have an awful lot of berries that he could probably offer the Ralts, but why do that when it didn't even look hungry? No, this time he was going to try and cheer it up. Taking out the Ruldolph's nose he won from some stupid lottery, he plopped it on his nose and gave the Ralts this freaking stupid grin. "HONK." He laughed, squeezing his nose as he honked at the psychic type. "Honk honk!" Susumu tried again, squeezing his red nose in an attempt to amuse the Ralts. His Weepinbell was not impressed, being a little too mature for those kinds of tricks as she gave him this dull expression. Oh well, let her judge. It was the Ralts he was helping here.

The grass type had him in a headlock or something so he could not use teleport or Bo-Bo would be pulled with him and he would get out, which scared him even more as he could not escape from this terror. Shamu tried to help out with the honking red nose but it did not nothing for the scared pokemon at the moment, he was in too much of a panic state to even see it. Heck, he was in so much of a panic state that he might just die here from a heart attack or something.
Regardless, at the meantime Ratito did see the nose and could not help but blurt out laughing. He loved to live in the moment and this moment was one he wanted to remember forever because it was so beautiful and so perfect. >You are one funny guy! Funny! Funny!< He said to Shamu as he started to tear up from laughter.
The Ralts though had to take action to his own hands. And with that he sent a weak psychic attack at the Weepingbell to get it to let go. Hopefully!

The Rattata was at least getting a kick out of everything, but the Ralts only became more terrified from their antics. Both Bo-Bo and Susumu had failed in their attempts to calm down the Ralts, who was now recklessly using a Confusion on his weakened Weepinbell. She yelped at the super effective attack, instantly letting go of the Ralts while backing off. She felt oddly sick at the attack, as if it was trying to weave confusion into her mind. Her mind was strong enough to fend off the status effects, but the dizzy feeling remained. <H-Hey! Don't do that!> She waved her leaves around frantically, starting to get emotional over the situation. She only meant to be helpful, yet this happened to her? What was the meaning of all of this?!
She didn't like it at all, wanting to help but only getting attacked right back. She wasn't even sure how she was supposed to deal with all of these emotions, but she couldn't help but feel responsible for the Ralts now. Forget the fact that she hardly knew this Pokemon and it could be a murderer for all she knew! She was too deep in this now, only wanting to calm down the Ralts at this point. Susumu could tell that she was starting to overreact, which was never a good thing with any Pokemon. Maybe they could try something else to calm the creature down, though he wasn't sure if his first plan would actually work.
"Bo-Bo, easy girl. Easy. Take five." He tried to coax the Weepinbell back to reality, but naturally it wasn't going to be that easy. The plant sniffled in her spot, as if she was ready to cry over the frustration she was going through. "Use a little Sleep Powder on it. That might calm it down." If it fell asleep, then it fell asleep. Hopefully by the time it woke up it would be a little saner. Bo-Bo kept sniffling at the command, but she was able to see the logic in it. It could work, though she didn't know what good it would do to have a sleeping Pokemon lurking around. She pointed a leaf at him and blew on it, scattering several spores that were capable of luring Pokemon to sleep at the Ralts. The rain continued to pour in the background, but thankfully it was finally starting to go away.

And luckily, the grass type only came back with a very inaccurate attack like sleep powder, as the Ralts was prepared for it and knew immediately how it would handle something like this. He saw the soporous pores come at him and he immediately could tell that the pokemon wanted to put him to sleep. But why sleep? Did it want to eat him? Kill him? What was the point of this? And why did the trainer support it?!
He started to freak out and immediately used Teleport to escape as he disappeared from the location of the attack and found himself a few miles away from Shamu and Bo-Bo!. Finally, this was his chance to escape and finally get free. He took his leave and started to get away. But outside of teleport, his body was very slow so it wouldn't be easy for him to just run... Thus, if Shamu and Bo-Bo really tried they could catch him. But in this maze, they'd probably just get lost.
Too bad, seemed Shamu better remember quick or just do a trial and error, as the Ralts was getting away. Ratito on the other hand was still derping and laughing at the red nose.

Susumu wasn't getting anywhere with the frightened Ralts as it suddenly teleported away from them. It was completely out of sight due to the endless amount of hedges that blocked their view, making it impossible to run after such a very well hidden Pokemon. If it was miles away from them, then it was even more impossible for the trainer to find Ralts in this maze. It was a mission not worth chasing after anyways, considering that the Rattata was top priority. <You know, if you just let me take care of it then we'd be better off.> The Weepinbell was getting tired and snippy, snorting at her trainer for making the frightened Pokemon run off like that. <You're so bad at this.> She sighed, looking off to the side as they were left with their familiar problem of escaping the maze.
From what he could remember, Susumu could've sworn that he heard 'left'. Which meant that they should make a left here? It was the only instruction he really remembered, which was better than nothing. "Come on, I think we're getting closer." He motioned for Bo-Bo to follow him by making a 'come' motion with his hand. Rain drops finally stopped pouring down on him, making him look up at the sky to see the sun beaming down on them. It was starting to feel like spring, which was so refreshing! "Gonna have to get a new set of clothes when we hit the city. I'm getting way too warm." He commented with a laugh, feeling a little sweaty in the sweater he was wearing. Maybe he'd take a break from the gardens after this, seeing that the weather was taking quite the shine to him.
Recalling some of the Ralts's instructions, he wandered down to the left with some hope of actually getting somewhere. Bo-Bo trudged along behind him, looking weary as they found a long path way without dead ends for them to travel through. It was vaguely familiar, as if they had went down here on their way in. <Looks good...> Bo-Bo muttered, trying to recall what else looked familiar in the area. Man, if only there were landmarks for them to recognize! They eventually came into a fork in the path, leaving them with two options. Left or right. Susumu had no idea at this point, but it was a 50% chance so why not. "Left again?" Susumu asked, scratching his chin in confusion.
<No...I think it was right. Right.> She pointed to the right, creating a conflict between the two. "What do you mean, right? I could've sworn it was left twice." Susumu glared at the Weepinbell, holding the Rattata carefully in his arms. Neither had the thought of asking Ratito for directions, since he was probably their best bet at this point. <No, what are you talking about? Right! Right is right! Correct!> Bo-Bo flailed her leaves around, absolutely certain that they had to take the path to their right. It was funny, but she was actually correct despite never hearing the Ralts's directions.

He honestly had no idea what the Ralts could have said, as even if he did hear it (which he did not), he'd be too exhausted to even comprehend it with his loss of health from the previous event. He simply followed them like a dumb rat, which made it much easier for him as he had to do no thinking at all.
While they were stuck in the fork though, deciding on left or right, a certain grass type quickly came out and spotted them. It was a friendly pokemon who would generally do whatever he could to help. When he spotted them, he saw the two lost and decided it was time for him to step up.
>Scouts honor! I'm ranger Bayleef. The leader around here. Are you lost? I can help you out of the maze if you need!< He said. Boy, it must have been their luck to find a ranger right when they needed one the most. The only problem was, something was a bit off with this Bayleef... But what?

The sight of the Bayleef was a refreshing sight to both Susumu and the Weepinbell, instantly taking note of a spicy scent in the air. Whatever was on the Bayleef's leaves was spreading over to them, making their noses twitch as the grass type's voice caught their attention. Bo-Bo was still moody and pmsing, huffing at the interruption and stubbornly turning her head away. She'd probably behave if she wasn't feeling so exhausted, but right now she felt as if two trucks had run over her. Her patience was wearing her down, leaving her feeling snippy despite her docile nature. "Ah, you know the way out?" Susumu blinked at the new Pokemon, thinking that this was his chance to find out whether he was right or not.
"So Bayleef, which is it? Left or right?" He asked, really hoping it was left. If it was, then he was actually correct this entire time! The irony of it all was that the way out of the maze was the path to the right, making his happiness pretty short lived. "Didn't expect a dinosaur to be hanging out over here." Susumu rubbed his chin as he mumbled to himself, wondering just how lucky he was to have a Pokemon like this appear.
Was it worth trying to catch such a Pokemon? Well, to be fair, he had a shiny Meganium in his Personal Computer. Taking another of the same species would only be greedy, making it not so worth it as he looked the Pokemon over with greedy eyes. Ah well, he'd take the help while he still could. Anything to get out of this blasted maze! Bo-Bo trusted the Bayleef enough, but she was giving him suspicious glances the entire time. Something about him was annoying the crap out of her, though she couldn't quite place her leaf on it.

You don't know where to go from here? Oh this is an easy one. You just go left!< He said out loud as he started to walk that way himself. The only problem was, while he started to walk a bit further he began to rethink his situation and really put himself in a mind fuck at the moment.
>Oh wait... Or was it right? Wait... I think it was go right! My bad! My bad!< He said as he turned around and began to walk right, whether Shamu was following him or not. Then, he began to walk a bit more just to turn again.
>Oh no! I think I had it right the first time. It's left. Right... It is right, that it is left!< He said, giving himself a scorching headache just thinking about it. All in all, the Bayleef just walked in a full circle.
Ratito did not notice this though.

"Ha! See? It is left." Susumu grinned, beaming with absolute pride when the Bayleef confirmed his suspicions. Following with steps resembling a happy-go-lucky marching band, he paraded behind the Bayleef as his Weepinbell smacked herself on the face. Ugh, how could she be wrong? Suddenly she was starting to doubt herself as the Proxim Gardens native led them through the place with confidence. At first, everything seemed to be going ok. It looked as if they were taking a path that was getting them somewhere, but then they hit a dead end.
Susumu raised an eyebrow and looked around, wondering if there was some kind of catch to this play. "We just went left, and then..." Susumu frowned, looking at the Bayleef with disbelief when it took them in the wrong direction. Though hey, it could've easily been him that would've taken him in this direction. Bo-Bo knew it, glaring at both of these stupid males for making life so complicated for her. <We could be out of here by now! Are you both serious?!> She huffed, thrusting her leaves on the ground as if she was punching it out of frustration.
<I don't know what you're doing in this maze if you can't even get out.> She glared at the Bayleef with an accusing tone, not wanting anything to do with him anymore. If he was just going to waste their time, then she was done with him. <I want to go home. This is dumb. All of this.> Bo-Bo's usual gentle demeanor was changed when she was this tired, cranky and PMSy. It was a bit horrifying for Susumu to watch as Bo-Bo started going straight ahead, charging in the correct direction. "I-I guess we're going to the right. Thanks for um, proving me wrong." Susumu chuckled awkwardly, holding Ratito in his hands as he followed behind Bo-Bo.
The maze seemed relatively quiet to him after that, trying to leave the Bayleef behind before it could do anything worse to him. At least the exit was in their sights. With Ratito held safely in his grip, Youngster Joey was sure to be happy when he saw the Rattata. "Hey, Joey? You around?" He called, finally out of the maze with his exhausted Weepinbell beside him. Where was that kid?

He could have literally gotten stuck in there for ages and never make it out alive, but luckily for him his Weepingbell eventually had enough and led them the right way. And luck usually came in a package of two as Joey was waiting right there when they came out, still looking for his Rattata. When Joey saw Ratito he quickly recognized it as one of his own.
"Oh great! You found him! Thanks so much!" He said as he reached out and tried to take the Rattata. The only problem was, Ratito did not seem so convinced when he saw a hand reach out and try to grab him.
>Woah?! Woah?! Woah?! Who the hell are you? And why are you trying to steal me right now?!< He asked. Maybe he was joking? Or maybe he was serious... One of them must have been lying as Ratito seem to not recognize Joey at all. But Joey could have sworn that the Rattata was his...
What now?

Joey seemed to recognize the Rattata, happily claiming it as his own as he reached for the Rattata. Susumu happily obliged, seeing no reason not to. Hell, it wasn't as if he was going to try and take this Rattata for his own. After all of the crap he went through? Nope, this was Joey's Rattata and they were going to act like they didn't fail this mission. Even the normally submissive Bo-Bo was sending off passive aggressive signals, glaring at Ratito for getting so freaked out. <Maybe you aren't, but can you live knowing that leaving this boy will make him cry?> She asked with a light voice, sounding cheerful to those that couldn't understand her tongue. It actually had quite the opposite effect, sounding rather bitter underneath all of that cheer.
"Yeah, no problem. Glad to help." Susumu sighed in relief, glad to be out of that blasted maze. Maybe now they could move around a little to train, seeing that his team was still pretty weak. "Thanks for putting up with this, Bo-Bo. Return." He smiled good-naturedly at the Weepinbell, oblivious to her rage as she gave him a sweet smile. That left him with things to do, giving a final nod of good-bye towards Joey before moving on.
As long as he was hiding away from that maze, he was pretty much ok with wherever he went. A winding sidewalk took him places he didn't expect to go, looking around at a nearby playground with amusement as children laughed and giggled around the slide. He found a safer area of the park, relaxing him a little as he sighed and kept on walking. Susumu couldn't help but to mull over getting a drink, swallowing down saliva with longing as he stared at a nearby drinking fountain. It was tempting, so tempting. It was going to taste like metal crap, but gosh he wanted cold water.
"Alright, risking it." He snorted, having mock determination over this as if it was some kind of dramatic event. If this scene could be played in slow motion with an orchestra playing tear jerking music in the background, it most certainly would. He jogged right over to the fountain, not caring if anyone was walking towards it with interest. It was his! The water was all his! He gratefully started drinking it with relief, despite the bad aftertaste it left behind. His body needed it, so all was well in the end. Phew.

At the fountain that Shamu had run to, near him was a Vulpix who was quite thirsty. But there was the fact that she was also quite afraid of water.. what if she fell in while she was trying to get a drink! But then… she noticed the pokemon trainer! Maybe he could get her a small bowl of some water! So quickly she trotted on over the blond trainer and then tried to tap on him slightly to get his attention. >Umm… excuse me… mister pokemon trainer sir… could you get me a bowl of water by chance?< she asked lightly, hoping he would without her having to explain that she was afraid of falling in the water…
