CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP!!!!
So he had made the stupid Cherubi cry, so what? It wasn't like he was the only jerk on route one. Ooh.. burn. He just called himself a jerk... Anyway, that wasn't the point. The point was that there was a level 25 politoed ready to beat the heck out of the trainer and his poor Duskull.
Had that Politoed been say... 20 levels weaker than it was, Blake would've released Sero onto the brightly colored pokemon in an instant. However, the frog pokemon was not level five and so they only had one choice.
Um, I think that we had better.. The usually quiet Sero was now in full panic mode.
RUN!!
And that was exactly what they did.

::venonat:: POLITOED & NIDORAN (M) & VENONAT APPEARED ! The Politoed grimaced as the trainer turned around and left, his paws bunched up in rage. Those poor Pokémon that had been unjustly treated -- he couldn't get them out of his mind. And to think that this was happening all over the routes! This was why he couldn't stand human cruelty. <Go on and get out of my sight, you scoundrels!> He shouted after them, knowing that his strength would overpower them in an instant. Once that was finished, he trekked back to the two Cherubi with the intent to comfort them after that horrid display of animosity.
Meanwhile, like a trial that route one placed for a trainer, a male Nidoran was trapped inside a huge, ghastly Venonat's jaws as they engaged in a vicious fight. <Yeah! Take that, you ugly thing!> The Nidoran barked, clawing at her with his sharp horn as she continued to Tackle him at close range, unamused by his verbosity.

Blake's breath came in heavy pants. "That.. STUPID... Politoed," he snarled breathlessly. The trainer shot a dirty look at his Duskull, who was perfectly fine even after the wild sprint. Floating, after all, wasn't exactly tiring. The ghost type avoided Blake's icy blue glare. With an irritated grunt, he continued walking.
It wasn't long before he came across another war-zone, this time between a Nirdoran and another Venonat. Maybe it was pest season. The male Nidoran was locked into a fierce battle with the bug-type, lashing out with his horn. Blake smirked to himself. Nirdoran were decent pokemon. Their evolved froms were huge and powerful- a perfect pokemon for him. Perhaps he'd "help" the nidoran with his battle.
Blake nodded at Sero. "Use astonish on the Venonat," he said in a clipped tone. Wordlessly, Sero faded out of sight. The ghost smirked to himself. He'd give the Venonat quite a shock. He let out a chilling scream, EEEEYAAAH! Shrieking at the top of his lungs, he came into view, his red eye darting and rolling and his jaws stretched wide open.

Sero glared at Nidoran. As though it were his fault! I just want to battle, he lied, hoping that might put of the Nidoran's anger. Apparently it didn't, because the next moment the poison type lunged for Sero, horn poised to strike. The sharp point hit his mask, making Sero wince as he tumbled back somewhat. By then, the Venonat had already disabled his astonish and was now coming in for a tackle. Sero almost laughed as the attack passed right through him.
Blake, on the other hand, wasn't amused. At all. "Oi! Get your act together you stupid Duskull. Why didn't you dodge that?" The Duskull glowered at the ground. Why didn't he try to dodge a charging Nidoran, see how easy it was. With a sigh he leered at the Nidoran before fading out for a faint attack. It would probably be a better idea to get the one who could actually hurt him out of the way first.
Now invisible, he quickly flew over to his opponent. The ghost type snapped back into a physical form and threw himself at the enemy pokemon.

[STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] The nidoran was certainly still peeved that the trainer interfered with his battle, but he had to admit that attacking the trainer was a bad move. Especially since the duskull basically used a powerful attack suddenly on him, and that's when he flipped over to his side as the attack scared him out of his wits. Suddenly slammed into the ground, and fell over with spirals in his eyes. The venonat was not going to take any of this, but she didn't say anything. Obviously unimpressed with the trainer's obvious choice in interrupting their battle, and suddenly she flew towards the duskull with a fail tackle again. Concordently, she started to use the momentum she gained to shoot a supersonic at the duskull as she was flying through the air during the tackle. Obviously a bad idea, but the nidoran male lay there, unmoving, and able to be caught. There was some hope after all, and he had put up a bit of a fight at least. The venonat was a little hard-pressed, but did have a slight level advantage in the end despite not having an attack to hit the duskull just yet. Foresight would have been smart to use, but she wasn't battle savvy. Fiend, was all she said as she was flying through the air to the duskull again. ::nidoranm:: Male - Level 4 Poison Poison Point || Rivalry Leer | Peck Egotistical - Bigmouthed - Fiercely independent Hit by Leer (Def -1 ) Hit by Faint Attack! Blake smirked to himself as tye male Nidoran collapsed and fell to the ground. Much better. He swiped an empty pokeball off his belt, blue eyes fixed coldly on the downed pokemon. He threw the pokeball, which bounced off the Nidoran and sucked it inside. Then it fell to the ground and began to twitch.
With that done, he turned his attention back to Usuro and the Venonat. The idiot bug had just aimed another failed tackle at the ghost, only to pass straight through him. He scoffed at the pathetic preformance. Did he not know guost types were immune to normal attacks?
A blast of sound made Sero's eye rattle in its sockets. The world spun and he began to drift around drunkenly. He shook himself to snap his attention back and faded away, only to try and ram into the Venonat after regaining visibility.

[STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] The nidoran lay on the ground and it's body twitched even as the red light had engulfed his body. Now it was up to him to try escaping this cruel world, but his body wouldn't even twitch since he was literally knocked out now. The pokeball rolled once, it rolled twice, and then three times. Finally it rolled a fourth time aaaaaaand, then a fifth time. Suddenly it clicked and the nidoran had been successfully caught. Prompting the trainer to actually engage in the battle more, the venonat noticed her attacks weren't even landing. Frowning slightly as she then had to change her tactics. There was only one move she knew how to utilize fully well. Bum, was all she said and suddenly her eyes shot right through the duskull as if she were trying to maneuver through his mind. Instead, she had merely altered reality to make it so that the ghost pokemon was identified. THere was no dodging or missing with this move, but then the venonat used another tackle. This time with hopes of hitting the ghost type now since the foresight would basically reveal the duskull. No longer immune to normal and fighting moves, which worked for her. Falcon kick was all the little purple blob said as she flew into the air even as she was brutally assaulted by the faint attack. ::nidoranm:: Male - Level 4 Poison Poison Point || Rivalry Leer | Peck Egotistical - Bigmouthed - Fiercely independent Hit by Leer (Def -1 ) Caught!

Unaware of his new vulnerability, Sero allowed his attention to be distracted for a moment. It seemed Blake had caught the Nidoran, the poor thing. It had entered life as Blake's pokemon, and it wasn't going to be a great experience. BAM! Something had been hurled at the unsuspecting Duskull, sending him tumbling through the air. What?! He would've shouted, but it only came out as a whisper, hoarse with shock. When he finally regained his balance, everything was distorted again. The dark trees surrounding him were blurred and twisted, like someone had clicked the distort tool on an art program. All the colors seemed to meld together, making it almost impossble to distinguish the Venonat from the ground.
He thought he saw something purple as his red eye roamed around. Without thinking, the ghost used another faint attack on it. His masked face hit something hard and solid. Turned out the "Venonat" was actually a gray rock.

But it would be great to know more than just a tackle attack. She didn’t want to interect with this trainer or her pokemon, she was just going to use her actions, yes use them in this very battle to beat the trainer and her pokemon.
Bouncing towards the duskull, the little purple puffball aimed to for another tackle attack. >Super tackle!< was all the little venonat called out as she went on in for a tackle attack.

The Duskull rose up again, shaking himself slightly. His vision was still blurred and shaky, but it seemed slightly less so than before. So, the Venonat thought it was funny, watching his opponent twist around in a daze and hurt himself.
...Well, he had to agree with the Venonat on that one. Still disoriented from the bone-jarring crash, he didn't even try to dodge the poison-bug's tackle. The fuzzy creature hit him literally head-on, ramming into the ghost's mask and flinging him backwards.
Blake's glare deepened as he watched. "Get it together, idiot! It's just a bug!" He snarled the words to the Duskull in place of the encouraging praise most trainers would've shouted to their pokemon. Feeling slightly sick with dislike for his trainer, Sero leered at his foe before fading away and lunging forward again.

[STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] Venonat was well-aware that the ghost pokemon was deftly using his cunning abilities to take her down. In fact, she was going to nope his entire existence by trying to dodge his next attack, but found herself in quite the conundrum after that miserable attempt as she got struck hard by the faint attack. Sadly, this wasn't going too well for her, but she was going to do her best to take this cretin on. Gross was all she said as a retort to the duskull's apparent brutality against her. The poor venonat's body bounced back, but suddenly she aimed a supersonic straight at the duskull's face as her vision blurred for a minute. Suddenly her teeth chattered in a rhythmic noise that set off some of the strangest noises within the area and were suddenly forced into a beam directed at the duskull. As she was summoning forth the rights of a demonic shrill, the venonat suddenly lunged at her opponent with another tackle-like head-butt. ::venonat:: VENONAT (F) 6 Bug/Poison Compoundeyes || Tinted Lens Tackle | Disable | Foresight | Supersonic One-word answers - Unquestioning - Mellow - Actions>words [defense -1] health is low green! hit by faint attack Used supersonic Used Tackle!

As the two pokemon continuously battled, Sero could feel his disabled attack become available for use again. It was a strange feeling, having a move disabled. Like a word on the tip of your tongue. You know it's there but it's drifting just out of reach. It frustrated him to no end.
So when his attack returned, the Duskull decided to rub it in. He lunged forward, screaming loudly in the Venonat's face. His timing couldn't be better. As he jumped forward, the Venonat let out a screech of her own. Had it hit Sero, he would've been driven to a state of confusing. Yet another thing he hated. Unfortunately, as he drifted back from his attack, the bug leaped forward and rammed into him. He tumbled a bit through the air before recovering and flying back to his original position, grumbling angrily.
Blake scowled at the battling pokemon. Why did their attacks have to be so annoying? When a ghost type is screaming his tiny head off and the Venonat is shrieking at a volume to mess up your balance… well, it wasn't a pleasant combination. At all. And then the Venonat hit his pokemon, which only worsened Blake's mood.
"Why can't you dodge that's, you worthless ghost?!" he finally snapped. The Duskull ignored him, instead waiting for the Venonat's next move.

Even as she was standing still, and wasn't expecting the attack as she watched the ghost Pokémon suddenly appear near her. This caused her to fall flat on her face and damage herself too after that ghost Pokémon had hurt her. Now she was angry, but she was busy trying to get up after having flinched from the attack. No reason for her to keep trying if she couldn't even keep her own feet up after that nasty attack that was brought to her. Blake smirked to himself, fully intending to take advantage of the Venonat's flinch. "Use leer and then faint attack. And you better not mess up." Sero rolled his red eye in a huge circle between his eye sockets. Yessir, he sighed. The ghost type then twisted his face into a deep scowl, glaring with apparent hate at the Venonat as he attempted to stare her down.
Then he was gone, faded out of sight. There was a malicious grin on Blake's face, knowing his pokemon was about to deliver his next attack. Suddenly the Duskull threw himself at the Venonat with all his might. Faint attack was one of those nifty moves that never missed, unless the opponent somehow got out of range.
It almost made him feel guilty, taking advantage of the poor Venonat's weakness with an inevitable hit. Though he doubted the Venonat would care. She had been making odd, one-word remarks about him throughout the entire battle.
