The nidoran looked at the pokeball, giving it a few sniffs to see if it was okay to touch it. His body was soft, vibrations of the jitters going through his body as he backed a bit away from the pokeball. The poison type looked up at the pokemon trainer, his jitters slowly disappearing as he approached the pokeball. Before he could touch it, however, he was caught off guard by another bout of yelling. The poor nidoran got scared stiff, his ears and skin perked up as the teddiursa shouted in her bout of jealousy. The poor nidoran just stood there, wide eyed as he stood in fear.
The teddiursa, meanwhile, continued to cry her fake tears in the hopes that she would get some attention. She found interest in those who received attention and she wanted to have that moment too! She felt alone, as if the pokemon of the forest showed her kindness just to leave her alone! Poor little teddiursa, alone in the forest with little to no one to talk to due to her jealous tendencies and her desire for attention. Clearly she was jealous of the nidoran, but she wouldn't admit that. When the trainer started to talk, the teddiursa glared. <N-NO!> The teddiursa said, her eyes filled with jealousy and tears. <I-I just believe that the nidoran shouldn't get so much attention! I should get some too!!! Suddenly, out of pure instinct, she jumped at the trainer in an attempt to snuggle with it, while keeping the nidoran away from him!

Was a moment of peace and quiet too much to ask for? All Cameron wanted was to ease the nidoran into the life of a captured pokemon, and maybe work on bestowing him with a suitable name, but this attention-seeking teddiursa was demanding his immediate focus. The poor little poison-type stiffened with fear at the other pokemon's antics, obviously too petrified to move, despite the trainer's attempts to make light of the situation. That was when Cameron really started to hate the needy teddiursa.
<N-NO!>, the bear pokemon shouted at him with a teary glare, evidently angered by his words. Like he cared. <I-I just believe that the nidoran shouldn't get so much attention! I should get some too!!!> Then, the wild pokemon leaped forward and started to snuggle with Cameron, the force of her pounce knocking him away from the nidoran. "Ugh! Get off me!", the human exclaimed with disgust as he tried to push the teddiursa away. Klinge squawked, and dashed forward a step, flapping his wings wildly in an attempt to intimidate the unwanted guest enough to scare her away. He didn't want to outright attack the much weaker pokemon. Plus, Amica still needed to rest after that last fight, and it wasn't like the nidoran was about to help, as panicky as he was. Their only potential ally here was the newborn feebas, but something had seemed off about her, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to throw her into battle without any sort of prior introduction to life in general. So, their only real choice was to try and get this annoying teddiursa to leave without violence.

[style=padding:10px; text-align: center; font-size: 75px; text-transform: uppercase; color: #434969;] Pokémon ENCOUNTER Yes yes! This was what the Teddiursa wanted, all the attention on her. She's in the spotlight, she was the pampered princess. It didn't matter to her whether she got positive or negative attention, as long as she was in the middle; the one everyone couldn't take their eyes off. That dinky Nidoran could just stay right where he was, outside and ignored. It was all about her, her and her.
However, she didn't expect that much negativity from the boy, and even from his Pokemon. Nidoran, despite being frozen in fear, padded up timidly to the Teddiursa. <Um...um..> Actually, on second thought, perhaps the Nidoran wouldn't say anything to this Teddiursa. What if it hurt him because he asked his question. Skittering back, he just stood there awkwardly and watched what Cameron would do next. Just when this Nidoran was about to be happy, there was something to block his way. Maybe him being unhappy all the time was his destiny?
When Cameron started to push and shove this Teddiursa, she did not take it very well. With a roar, she wailed, <Like me! Don't push me away! I want to be noticed! LOOK ONLY AT ME!> With that she started crying again, throwing a giant temper tantrum right there, ignoring the babyish Nidoran and how he was covering his ears at how loud the Teddiursa was being. <Ow ow, stop it! That's loud,> the Nidoran whined, his initial fear becoming irritation as the bear continued her horrible wailing.

Just as Cameron was expecting the nidoran to remain petrified throughout this entire encounter, the little guy actually approached the teddiursa as she did the best to snuggle the living daylights out of the trainer. Cameron paused in his indignant attempt to rid himself of the nuisance, and watched as the timid fella did his best to say something, but eventually ended up scrambling away again. That was still more than the human had expected out of him, and he was duly impressed. Nonetheless, the problem of the attention-seeking bear persisted, and he resumed trying to push her away. The teddiursa was not pleased by this.
<Like me! Don't push me away! I want to be noticed! LOOK ONLY AT ME!>, she bawled, and her eyes welled up with tears once more as she launched herself into a full-scale temper tantrum. Even more disgusted than before (How had such an immature pokemon survived this long in the wild?), Cameron managed to push her off enough to clamber to his feet, backing away from the bear with all the haste of someone fleeing a poisonous ekans. "Look, it's not all about you, okay? Now just leave us alone!", Cameron shouted over the clamor of the teddiursa's distress as he scowled darkly at the creature. He was very close to losing his temper entirely, and he knew it. Klinge did too, evidently, because the skarmory sent him a warning look. Cameron took a measured breath, then looked over at the nidoran, who was covering his ears and acting quite uncomfortable about how loud this situation had gotten. Poor guy, he probably had super sensitive hearing, what with those huge ears.

[style=padding:10px; text-align: center; font-size: 75px; text-transform: uppercase; color: #434969;] Pokémon ENCOUNTER The Teddiursa stared in surprise as the boy pushed her right off of him and began to back away, her temper tantrum absolutely forgotten. <What's up? Why're you leaving?> Her eyes began to tear up again, this was not fun! She was supposed to be the center of attention! That was how things worked! Her spotlight, and nobody else was to get in the way. Turning around, the Teddiursa ignored Cameron's yelling at her and gave the Nidoran a dirty glare. It was as if she was blaming all of this trouble on the innocent Nidoran, who was still covering his ears cautiously, waiting to see if the bear would burst into her wailing again. However, catching the look on the bear's face, he had to flinch. Gosh that little bear was scary!
Now it was time to deal with that rude human. This is what happens when someone ignores her, things get ugly. First it was the human, then she would deal with that Nidoran. It was his fault, taking up all the attention, and now she couldn't get any. Running towards Cameron, she extended her claws, aiming to drag them down the boy's legs. This kid was going to pay for not paying attention to her! The Nidoran watched wide eyed in shock, what was this ego maniacal bear doing?!

Cameron took a certain sort of pleasure in the surprised look on the teddiursa's face as he managed to push her away. She totally forgot her temper tantrum, and instead stared at him in shock. <What's up? Why're you leaving?>, the bear asked as tears threatened to fall yet again. Cameron was not impressed, but the wild pokemon ignored his yelling, and instead turned a nasty glare on the helpless nidoran, causing the poor guy to flinch. This, of course, set Cameron off again. "Hey, you leave him out of this! You're the one with the problem, not-"
Cameron's defensive rant was brought to a swift end as the teddiursa suddenly charged at him, her claws aimed at his legs. Cameron scrambled further backwards as fast as he could manage, but he was only a few feet away from her, and the wilderness-bred pokemon was much faster than a slightly-overweight teenager. His legs flared up with pain as her claws sliced right through his jeans and into the underlying skin, causing a set of relatively minor, yet still quite unpleasant, set of claw-marks that ran down either calf. Cameron cried out, and promptly fell on his butt, gritting his teeth as he gingerly examined the injuries. Klinge ran forward, his face positively stormy as he aimed to scoop the teddiursa up in his beak and toss her several feet away, in order to give his trainer time to collect himself and think up a plan. This obnoxious wild pokemon wasn't going to give up without a fight, it seemed, and her tenacity had just cost his trainer a good deal of unneeded discomfort. That was something that Klinge could not forgive.

OOC: Hey. Whenever your Pokémon are out or responding to something like this, its a good idea to put up your pokemon's stats and a brief summary. It just helps the mods out a little. Attention! All the teddiursa wanted was a little attention. Was that too much to ask for?! <That's right! I wanted attention and you wouldn't give it to me! Now then, lets- whoaoaaa> She said as she was suddenly picked up. She looked at the skarmory, watching as it kept a fold of her skin in her mouth. <Why I oughta...!> The bear said, swinging her arms wildly in the hopes of landing at least one scratch on the steel bird. Why do these people interfere?! That was the last thought she had before she was thrown a few feet away, hitting the ground hard. She struggled to get up, hoping to get at the trainer once more. The nidoran, meanwhile, was hiding behind Cameron, looking around the trainer to see if the malevolent bear was gone. <I-is it over?> He said meekly, looking at the trainer before hiding again. Nidoran (M) lvl 4 Abilities: Poison Point - Rivalry Attacks: Leer, Peck total nervous wreck, fidgety, paranoid, has a phobia of most everything Wondering if its overTeddiursa (F) lvl 6 Abilities: Pickup - Quick Feet Attacks: Fake Tears, Lick, Leer, Scratch, Covet, Yawn* clingy, center of attention, thinks everything is about her Got thrown. Klinge managed to capture the teddiursa by the scruff of the neck, cutting off her furious rant mid-sentence. The wild Pokémon flailed about in his grip, lashing out with her claws to try and slash at Klinge's head and neck, but thankfully he was a good deal stronger than her. He tossed her several feet away, and didn't even wait to watch her land, instead turning to face Cameron with a demeanor of concerned (if gruffly so) urgency. <I'd suggest we get a move on before she decides to try somethin' like that again. You alright for walking, kid?> Cameron winced as he experimentally moved his legs, but nodded. The damage was mostly superficial, although he would dress the cuts once they were safely away from that crazy bear. "Yeah, let's just get outa here.", he agreed, then looked over as the nidoran spoke up from his hiding place behind the trainer.
<I-is it over?>, the poor guy asked quietly, to which Cameron responded with an encouraging nod. "It had better be. We've gotta run, though." With that, the trainer got back to his feet, and retrieved the pokeball that was still lying on the ground. They could get the nidoran's official capture settled once they had fled elsewhere. "Follow me! Don't worry, we won't let you fall behind.", he said to the timid poison-type, before breaking into a run as he headed further down the path. Klinge trotted behind the human, keeping an eye on both the nidoran and the teddiursa, making sure that the former kept up and that the latter didn't.

This was hardly turning out to be the quick getaway that Cameron was planning on. The teddiursa recovered more quickly than he would have expected, and was now giving chase. To complicate matters, the nidoran was obviously not in the best of shape, as he was struggling to keep up. Running away like this just wasn't going to work, apparently. <You dratted imbeciles!>, the parasitic pokemon growled as she continued to flail her arms about. She continued to gain on them, and Cameron had no choice but to skid to a stop and turn around, ignoring the new pain that was radiating from his legs after that unexpected bit of exercise.
"Alright, I'm completely fed up with you now!", he declared in what bordered on an angry roar. Klinge repositioned himself to stand between the teddiursa and the rest of the group, spreading his wings wide to make himself look as large as possible. "This is your last warning: leave us alone! We don't want you around!", the trainer continued with a scowl. He truly didn't have another option at the moment. Without having a body of water to navigate in, his feebas would be all but useless, and Amica was still asleep. If this last warning didn't work, Klinge would have to use more forceful means in order to get rid of her.

He was a nervous wreck hoping that the encounter and battle would end soon and that no one would get hurt, but unfortunately that did not seem to be the case. The Teddiursa, upon hearing the insult plopped onto her bum and started to let out a very loud and vibrant cry.
Her eyes began to water and she started to sob like no other. Letting everything out at once. >WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN TO ME? I JUST WANT TO BE LOVED... WHY IS THE WORLD SO CRUEL? WHAT DID I EVER DO?< She started to let it all out, hoping to lower the defenses of the Skarmory while she was at it, and also that of Cameron.
And even this scared the Nidoran... Tears he was afraid of.
