::spearow:: Level 5 (F) peck - growl - leer territorial, protective, very motherly deep down
From higher up in the tree something was angry with the intrusion. There was a rustle of branches, some leaves fell, and a brown bird dove down from up above. A little Spearow attacked from above, falling towards Inoko with her claws and beak bared. She aimed a peck attack at the human's head. "You're in my tree!" She cawed out as she pulled up and began to circle around in the skies above Inoko.

The little spearow let out a caw as she got hit by the quick attack. But she wasn’t going to go down easily! She needed to protect her home! So she leered at the young scyther. >Leave my home alone!< she cried out before flying on in, getting ready to hit the bug pokemon with a peck attack, the only damaging attack she knew but it would be lucky for her as they are super effective against bug type. Not that she knows that, she’d just protect her home totally not analyzing the situation she’s in.

It was too late for that now though, she had to keep fighting! <I said stay away!> she snapped, continuing to glare at the intruder, even as it struck her head on, causing her to momentarily lose balance. Flapping furiously she managed to keep in the sky though and wheeled about, before diving in for another peck attack. ::spearow:: [Def -1] Level 5 (F) peck - growl - leer territorial, protective, very motherly deep down Hit By Quick Attack! -------- WILD SPEAROW!
The Spearow had no time for this trainer's nonsense, seeing how she wasn't even listening to her in the first place. With an angry hiss, the Spearow raised her wings as she stared into the knife shaped eyes of the Scyther. Bakura's Leer cut right into her, shredding her defenses before moving in with a Quick Attack that was difficult to dodge. Dealing with a bug at these speeds was difficult, but she was hanging in there. Size meant nothing to her, since a bug was still a bug in the end.
This was still her territory, and she planned on defending it until the end. <You need to leave!> She hissed yet again, refusing to look back at her nest while in battle. The worst thing she could possibly do is to draw attention to her most prized possession, and when she was up against a bug with sharp scythes for weapons, that wasn't a problem. Her eyes were on the bug, and she wasn't letting Bakura out of her sights. Letting out a loud Growl to intimidate the Scyther, she didn't hold back as she flew towards her foe with a beak as pointy as the Scyther's arms.

-------- WILD SPEAROW!
The Scyther was talking an awful lot for a Pokemon that was under attack. It was rather rude to the Spearow, since she was putting all of her efforts into defending her territory. The Scyther muttered something about eggs, and she couldn't help but hiss in agitation. <Stop acting like you know me! We've never met!> She adamantly stomped her foot down in defiance, meeting the Scyther's leer with an uneasy stare of her own. Man, that Scyther could look awfully creepy when it wanted to be.
Big killer bug right in front of her, and somehow she was winning. She wasn't interested in hunting giant bugs like this, but the weaker it got, the hungrier she became. If she was wasting this much energy on prey, she might as well try to eat it. She yelped in pain from the Quick Attack, quickly flying around the Scyther's wings to get an attack of her own in. Her hips ached and her lungs screamed at her to slow down, but she felt that if her next attack hit, it would all be over. She had to defend her territory at all costs, and these ignorant fools weren't leaving her be. She used what she assumed was her final Peck attack of the match, aiming it at the Scyther's right heel to make it fall down.

-------- WILD SPEAROW!
She thought that one more attack was all she needed, but the Scyther was able to dodge yet again! No way! She gasped as her attack missed, even with her Keen Eye ability to keep her accuracy in place. This was stupid, and she was tired and angry and bitter about all of this. She panted on the sidelines as the Scyther recuperated with an Oran Berry, gaining enough health to carry it throughout the remainder of the battle.
The Spearow was exhausted, and she could sense the Scyther's determination to win. They were going to overwhelm her at this point, and her flight or fight senses were going wild. Deciding that enough was enough, she flew back up into the safety of her tree. She was done with this. All she could do was leer at them from the safety of her nest, wishing that they would go away as soon as possible.

⋆ GOSSIP: Oran berries can only be used with attacks if the item was already held by the Pokemon~ Otherwise berries/items are like potions and cost a turn. ⋆ MUSIC: n/a ⋆ STAFF NOTES: +1 level Scyther for effort! You won't get anything extra for fainting her.

[style=padding:10px; text-align: center; font-size: 75px; text-transform: uppercase; color: #434969;] Pokémon ENCOUNTER The Spearow was getting tired with all of this fighting. She really just wanted this person to leave her and her nest alone. It seemed this trainer was not going to be very nice, with all those comments she had made earlier. The red gleam of a Pokeball in the girl's hand caught her eye, and made the Spearow caw out in a panic. She did not want to be caught! Oh no! If she was taken away, she would have to abandon her nest, her babies! She had already lost her husband to another trainer, and now that same fate would befall upon her. Oh her poor family, it was going to now be torn apart, and that ripped apart the Spearow’s heart. As the Scyther approached with its quick attack, the Spearow landed on the tree began to cover her nest with the leaves from the tree. She grabbed beakfulls, and tried to pry open an area where the sunlight could get through, so that her little eggs could get some warmth. It was all done sloppily, and there was so little time, but it would have to suffice. Perhaps her sister would come by and take care of her babies for her, since the trainer was going to catch her. With a final look at her eggs, the Spearow took flight in order to keep herself away from her fragile eggs. The Scyther struck against her body, and went careening into the sky, and the last of her energy was spent. Plummeting to the ground, the Spearow landed with a painful thud against the ground, and there she lay. The unconscious Spearow was at Inoko’s mercy. ::spearow:: Level 5 (F) peck - growl - leer territorial, protective, very motherly deep down Hit by quick attack [DEF -3] Fainted![/style]
