Alivia sighed. It looked as if walking around in the rain hadn't been such a good idea after all. Bah, this was going to get her nowhere except to Pneumonia town.
She was about to turn back to return to the Pokemon center when she heard the commotion. Alivia turned toward the sound, then tilted her head to the side. Curious, Alivia walked toward the little alley way that the sound seemed to be coming from.
Frowning, Alivia stepped into the alley and took out a Pokeball. She wasn't exactly sure which of her Pokemon was in it as she really hadn't been paying close enough attention.
"Hey! What are you doing to this poor Pokemon?" she demanded, glaring at the Machop. "Don't you know it's not nice to pick on Pokemon just because they're weaker than you? If you want a battle, why don't you battle me, instead?"

The Machop glared at Alivia, and growled. <Hey!> he said, snarling again at Alivia. He didn't want this person to inturupt with his training. He had been having fun! Turning, he advanced on the girl. If this trainer wanted a battle, she sure was going to get a tough battle! He had been training, you know.
<If you win, Magikarp is unharmed. If I win... Magikarp is still my punching bag.> he declared, announcing that he would do as he had said. The Machop like to keep his word, for he honored what he did. Right. Now. He was going to start this battle off with a thunderous bang if that was what the girl wanted. He wanted it.
Looking at the Pokeball, he snickered. <Bring it,> he said, beckoning at Alivia to release the Pokeball. Not a useless Pokemon, he hoped. He wasn't going to be used as a training bag, just to level up other Pokemon in the girl's team. At least he didn't want to be of such uselessness. Even though he really was. [ ]

Machop didn't answer, playfully batting the fish around as if it was a toy. The magikarp flailed helplessly, a defeated look in it's eyes. If you looked closely, there were many bruises coated on its tough hide, along with a few chipped scales that were shining on the floor. The rain was the only thing keeping the fish alive.

[OOC: Bwa? Well, UMBREON replied first so I'm going to go off that one. . . >>]
Alivia furrowed her brow, then tossed the Pokeball into the air, hoping that the Pokemon inside would be a good match. Not that any of her Pokemon wouldn't be a good match. . . Well, scratch that last statement: she decided she didn't care who came out of the Pokeball.
"We've got a battle to do!" she said loudly as the Pokeball opened. She glanced over at the poor Magikarp, and gave it a sympathetic look. She would help out that little fish if it killed her.
In a flash of white light, her Nidoran Spike appeared. He looked over at the wounded Magikarp, then at the smirking Machop, and he glared at the Fighting Pokemon, lowering his head to show off his horn.
"Alright, use Peck!" Alivia commanded. What better to fight a Fighting Pokemon with than a Flying attack? She kept her face straight, knowing that like the Makuhita she fought earlier, this Machop would probably not be a peice of cake.
"Nido!" Spike cried, his own little battle wail. He pawed at the ground, then ran toward the Machop with head low and his horn glowing a dull white color.

The injured Magikarp seemed to use a splash, which dappled water on the ground in big circles but, seemed to be unnoticeable and didn't really do any good to do being injured and all just, the Magikarp wanted to use an attack to seem part of the battle and cheer the Nidoran on.
The Machop, taking no notice of the injured fish was hit with the peck, sliding back some but, quickly catching his position, he ran at the Nidoran with a low kick, angry and wanting to be as bully-like as possible.

Spike attempted to move out of the way, but the Low Kick hit him, well, low, and he tumbled over, landing on his chest. Maybe his Poison Point ability Poisoned his foe, but maybe not.
"That's alright, Spike! You've got this! Use Leer!" Alivia commanded, forgetting all about the drizzling rain as she got into in the fight.
The little Nidoran got back to his paws and shook himself, then turned his head upward to look into the Machop's eyes. His eyes started to glow an eerie yellow in hopes of intimidating the foe enough to lower his defences.
"Peck!" Alivia cried again.
Spike's eyes went back to normal and he ran forward, then lunged for the Fighting Pokemon, the horn on top of his head glowing a dull white color again.

The Machop grimaced as the horn of the Nindoran nicked his skin as he collided with the horned beast. It was painful for sure, but no status effects were inflicted and as Alivia spoke yelled orders, the Machops became scrambled as he attempted to think of a way out of the situation. Rubbing his chest and the bruise that was slowly darkening, he fridgited as he attempted to think of a reasonable plan.
The standards of a bully hadn't lowered any in the pokemon world. All brawn and no brain. So, as the Machop thought of his 'brilliant' plan, Spike charged at the Machop. The fighting pokemon tensed, ready to put his plan in action. If he could just use his low kick to knock the horn away from him...
As the glowing spear grew closer and closer, the Machop finally swung his leg right at the pokemon, not in a circular motion, but he lunged his foot at the Nindoran. Low Kick! The fighting type let out a scream of agony, as his foot was stabbed upon the mighty horn of the male pokemon.
Angered, the Machop swung his leg through with a mighty force, hoping to unbalance the pokemon and send it tumbling to the ground. As he released his foot, he clutched it tightly, moaning softly to himself, but he hastily snapped out of it. <That didn't even hurt you weakling.> he spat, feriously.

Alivia's Nidoran squealed, but jumped back away from the flailing Low Kick attack, not wanting to get by that again. He narrowed his eyes at the Machop and his obvious lie, then pawed at the ground. "Alright! You're doing great!" Alivia assured her Pokemon, smiling happily. She felt as if she was teaching the Machop some sort of lesson. "Use Focus Energy and then move in for that Peck attack!" Spike took a few deep, steadying breaths, focusing his energy. The battle had created a lot of free-flowing energy, but he used his breathing to calm his nerves and center all of that power. Then, with that done, he ran at the Machop, horn glowing for another super-effective Peck attack.

[Ooc: whoot! mod coin!]
The poor Magikarp sighed, watching the battle, his heart beating miles per second, worried that the Machop may of had a chance to beat him up and thus, sending him into a coma of some sort.
The Machop, felt pretty angry that his low kick didn't hit the Nidoran and sort of did a pout like a child would when he didn't get his candy at the store. In the midst of this pout, he wasn't paying attention and was thrown back by a powerful peck that was increased by focus energy.
Skidding back, Machop caught himself on the ground, jumping up to reposition himself and then ran at the Nidoran with another low kick, hoping to hit this time.
Machop used Low kick.

Spike let out a small squeak as he was sent tumbling across the cement ground. He fell into the puddle the Magikarp was piled in and sent water spraying everywhere.
"Spike! You're alright! Use Peck again! Just keep on attacking that thing!" Alivia commanded, not willing to let the bully of a Pokemon win. His lesson hadn't been finished yet! She thought that maybe, if it got that far, she might catch it and teach it some manners while she was at it.
Mumbling an apology to the Magikarp, Spike got to his feet and shook the water from his tough hide. He glared at the Machop, then ran at him while growling a battle cry. He lunged for the Pokemon, his horn glowing for the Flying attack.

The Machop got hit by the Peck attack, but easily stood up, only grimacing a bit. This wasn't hard, it was easy! And best of all, when he finished he could get to training again! <Haha,> he shouted to more or less intimidate the Male Nidoran. Rather a stupid animal, since none of the attacks of it were that effective on him. Heh. They weren't going to beat him at all, and he was going to win.
Grunting, he used a Leer attack. His eyes turned a dull gray color, and they reached out to lower the defense of the Nidoran. Then, his eyes turning into the normal color, his foot glowed. The attack Low Kick. Actually, it was one of his favorites. He ran up to the Nidoran and attempted to use Low Kick to kick it away from himself.
Magikarp grunted a bit to show it was okay, and that it appreciated its help. There were many problems in being a Magikarp. Not knowing any attack until level 15 really contributed to that problem. This wasn't in his opinion, a bad thing though. Even though they would never learn an attack that would do anything until level 15, they were, at least evolving into one of the more powerful Pokemon. Gyarados. At least that Pokemon was rather powerful.

Spike shivered lightly at the Leer attack. He shook head, though, in order to clear it and see the what the little Machop had up his sleeves. He saw, in time, the Machop springing at him for a Low Kick attack.
"Watch it! Dodge and use Peck again!" Alivia commanded. She was not about to let that stupid brawny Pokemon go back to torturing that poor Magikarp.
Squealing, the Nidoran jumped to the side of the attack, managing to dodge by a hair's width. His eyes widened at how close the attack had actually come to hitting him, and how close he had come to feeling some major pain.
Narrowing his eyes, Spike pushed off the ground as soon as his paws touched the dirt, pouncing at the Machop, his horn glowing for a Peck attack. It was the only damaging move he knew for now.

The peck was effective somehow and just so happened to hit the Machop. Not only that but, because of the Machop's egotistical attitude, Machop fell backwards when the peck hit and a rock knocked him in his head as he tumbled backwards and fainted.
You defeated Machop! Spike gains one level! Magikarp allows himself to be captured! You may captured the Machop as well!

Spike narrowed his eyes, as if he was waiting for the Machop to spring back up at any second, but he was panting heavily and didn't think that he'd be able to continue a fight with the Machop got back up.
However, Alivia knew the Machop was done and she stepped up next to her Nidoran. "Alright! Pokemon time!" she declared, taking out an empty Pokeball and tossing it at the Machop. She thought he would be a pretty good asset when it came to the Gym Battle.
While Alivia watched her Pokeball, Spike bounded over to the Magikarp and lied next to it. {Hey! Are you alright? That Machop won't bother you anymore!} he assured the little fish Pokemon.

Smiling to herself, Alivia walked over to the Pokeball and picked it up. "Gotcha," she whispered, tossing the ball up once before putting it in her pack. She looked around for Spike and found him over by the Magikarp.
"Hey, little guy, are you alright?" she asked, kneeling next to the fish Pokemon and her Nidoran. "Here, why don't you come with me and I'll get you all healed up? Then when I find a nice little pond I'll let you swim wild and free?"
Spike pawed at Alivia's leg and she looked down at him. The little Pokemon looked tired, so she took out his Pokeball and returned him. After she was finished chatting it up with the Magikarp, she would go back to the Pokemon Center.

The small Pokemon nodded tiredly. "I'm sorry..." he breathed, looking at the trainer. This was a nice person. At least she had helped him get through his place. He was close to evolving... but he was still rather helpless. The Tackle attacks that he had done before the trainer had come were pretty much useless, and Flail was the same. "Thank you," he said, smiling a small bit.
He then started wobbling away unsteadily. After all, it wasn't easy for a fish on land. He wasn't feeling that good, anyway. Plus, he had just gone through an emotional moment and gotten smashed by the Machop. So you couldn't expect him to be really good at this kind of thing. After all, he hadn't had much time to really react once the Pokemon had used him as a punching bag for practice.

Alivia smiled at the little Pokémon and took out a Pokeball. It was close to her last one, and she decided after the Pokémon Center she would search out a mart so she could re-stock on some items.
"Here, this will be an easier way to travel," she said, tapping the Ball gently on the little fish. She held the Ball loosely in her hand and waited to see if she was successful. "I'll get you better in no-time."
[OOC: Eww. . . Look at that sad, pathetic little post. . . ]

Alivia smiled and picked up the Pokeball. "Well, until I release I suppose I should call you something. Hmm. . . Oh! I'll call you Prince. Cuz that's how I'm going to treat you for now on! Like a prince!"
She giggled to herself, then blinked in surprise as the Ball disappeared. Oh yeah! She had all of the slots in her Pokemon team filled! Six Pokemon, that was all. . . She had seen some other people with more Pokemon before, but she thought six was all you needed.
The trainer smiled again and got to her feet, brushing the small pebbled from her pants. The light rain had finally come to a stop, but it was still pretty freaking cold out. She shivered, then headed for the Pokemon Center. This was be the third healing she had to do!
[OOC: Ok, moving to the Pokemon Center. . . And stuff. Guess that means this thread is done with! =D]
