Observing the Phanpy, Yaibel said Cooley "Tackle him straight on. After the collision use Growl." Ripper nodded briefly before flying straight at Phanpy. At level 1, she had no chance of winning the charge but she was too submerged in the blood lust to care. Sh was going to rip this Pokemon to shreds.

Phanpy ran, angry and upset that someone would be that cruel towards him. Hitting the other Pokemon head on, Phanpy skidded back some, shaking his head as a growl was used. This lowered his attack and his spine shivered some.
Still angry and ready to defend himself so he could play again, Phanpy ran at Ripper with another Tackle attack.

"Dodge and tackle it from behind," Yaibel said. Obeying him, Ripper flew above Phanpy's tackle before spinning around and flying at Phanpy again. Phanpy had the level advantage but Ripper could fly, enabling her to out maneuver Phanpy.

Phanpy ran into a tree with his tackle, taking a step back only to be hit again with a tackle and rammed once again into the tree. Shaking his head, Phanpy turned around, a huge knot forming right in the middle of his forehead. [That wasn't fair!] He yelled and then ran at Ripper with another Tackle.

Without waiting for an order, Ripper flew straight at Phanpy again. They collided heavily but this time, Ripper felt less damage. Her growl was taking effect.
Angry at being left out of the battle, Yaibel shouted "Ripper. If it doesn't faint, use growl again." He was determined to win this fight. He wasn't going to catch it. It was too playful like King. But Ripper was level 1 and she needed experience.

Phanpy watched Ripper carefully, before hearing another growl. Angry still, Phanpy ran at ripper again with a tackle.

Once again, Yaibel commanded Ripper to dodge and Tackle. The Phanpy was clearly getting angry which would make it more reckless. Plus, the Growls were getting to it. It wouldn't be much longer.
Ripper successfully dodged the attack before turning around and flying back at the poor elephantine creature. A cruel glint crossed her eye and her vision turned red from the excitement and blood lust.

’Grrrrahhhh! How could I miss?! Just wait until I thrash that bird to pieces!’ He growled with all of his frustration, with all of his anger, and all of his might as he started to turn around to counter attack. When he did so, he was trunk to beak with a lust-stricken Starly, who had surprised him with a powerful Tackle to the face. It was enough force to send him laying on his back, pain pouring through his legs as they twitched in mid-air.
<Ow…Hurt…Pain…Dead.> He meekly muttered out, too afraid to get back up and fight, and too weak to actually run away without fear of the Starly chasing after it. To a young Phanpy, playing dead and giving up was his only option.
All participating Pokémon gain a level. (No, not King. D:) Capture?

Yaibel could see that Ripper wanted to hack Phanpy to pieces but he was bored and he wanted to catch more Pokemon.
"Ripper, return," he called out and recalled Ripper. He turned to walk down the path again. He only stopped to kick Phanpy's body out of the way. He sneered at the elephant.
"You don't deserve to be alive," Yaibel snarled and contemplated whether or not it was worth it to draw his sword. He decided not and continued walking.

Above Yaibel flew a flock of pidgeys but one seemed to be staggering. <Wait up guys!> It cooed out as it started loosing elevation. The others either didn't reply or called back remarks about winter coming and migration. When the bird was too far behind to even think of catching up it decided it would rest and catch another flock. It drifted down upon the path in front of the male trainer, not noticing. The bird was on the chubby side but that didn't stop it from looking on the ground for a worm. Wild has appeared!

Yaibel heard the calls of the flock and looked up to see the straggling Pidgey. He sneered at the pathetic creature. It was too weak to migrate and would probably die in the winter. Yaibel grinned evilly and reached for his Pokeballs.
Ripper would be the ideal choice but he had just fought and he had done well, enough to earn a break. King would be eaten alive, even by the weak bird. Tyikik would be alright but Shadow was the best choice.
"Shadow, go," Yaibel called. The Murkrow jumped out of the Pokeball and perched on Yaibel's shoulder.
"Let's try an aerial battle Shadow," Yaibel commanded, pointing at the Pidgey. Shadow nodded and leaped into the air. It flew into the air and cawed loudly, issuing a challenge.

The Pidgey struggled, it didn't care to battle honestly, it was just too darn cold but, Pidgey refused to seem like a weakling. Looking back with a glare, Pidgey let out a loud growl as his first attack as an acceptance of the battle.

Shadow didn't even flinch as his attack lowered. He was confident that it would win.
"Shadow, use Astonish to startle it out of that tree," Yaibel commanded coldly. He knew very well that if the Pidgey flinched it would fall to the ground, probably breaking its neck.

The Pidgey gave a flustered little squawk as the Murkrow frightened him. He fluttered his feathers and very much fell out of tree. However, with some frantic wing flapping, he didn't land as hard as he might have on the ground.
Feeling a bit dizzy, the Pidgey sat there for a little bit, unable to attack this time around. It could be considered his flinch, as he was still conscious, but he was too stunned to do much at the time.

"Shadow. Use Pursuit," Yaibel commanded coldly. Shadow squawked in delight as he spread his wings and flew at the Pidgey. It was having fun with this little fight. He doubted that the Pidgey could say the same.

The Pidgey tumbled backwards, too stun to even dodge the attack. He flopped down onto his stomach, his wings spread out on either side of him, and he was out cold. Those attacks had been quite powerful, and he wasn't all that strong to begin with. Why he hadn't just escaped, no one would know. [Shadow Gained One Level] [Pidgey May Now be Caught]

"Come on Shadow. It's not worth our time to catch it," Yaibel said as he recalled Shadow. He turned around and started walking down the road. He hoped the next Pokemon he found was vicious and powerful.

Vicious and powerful, that's what this Pokémon thought he was. With a mighty growl, a huge looming shadow of some Pokémon was cast on the ground illuminated by the setting sun. Rearing up, the Pokémon stepped out from behind the bush, stubby legs waving in the air.
With a cackling, the Lotad wobbled out, before suddendly breaking off into a coughing fit. Once composed the Pokémon glared at the trainer before annoucing, <I am the great and deadly LOTAD. BOW DOWN OR DIE!!> he screamed, draping his lily pad around him like a cape.
