After fighting his way against the harsh Ice Bridge, Jalance and his team had finally made it to the Grand Pont City Gym. Once there he swiftly enter into the Gym with his confident aura floating around him. "I'm here to challenge Aqua!" He shouted his voice full of authority. Resting inside Jalance's strong hands were two tiny red and white spheres. You could tell that he meant business.

As Jalance entered the City of Water's Pokémon Gym, Mi had made an elegant leap out of the water. The Milotic's body turning into a complete circle before turning into a straight line and diving into the water below. Making a gigantic splash, covering a Sealeo and Aqua respectively.
The shy looking girl brushed back a soaked piece of hair before grabbing a nearby towel to dry some of her body off. Only giving Jalance a passing glance as she walked to the end of the pool, both Si and Mi giving intimidating glances at the new challenger. Si, the gigantic Sealeo who looked eager for a battle. Then there was the much more sophisticated Milotic, that liked to take her time against her opponents. Both were already in the pool, being water types it gave them an edge in the battle already.
"Alright, so it will be a double battle. We each use three Pokémon each, the challenger may use substitutions. If you win, you get this badge." She showed it to Jalance, the shape of waves on the metallic bade.

"A double battle sounds good to me," Jalance replied as he enlarged the two spheres, and swiftly tossed them up across the small amount of cement floating above the water. "Tereya, Keisei stand by!" Jalance shouted, soon a small, but spunky shiny Buneary appeared into of Jalance, standing next to a regal and fierce Jade Nintales. "Ladies first," he stated with small smirk expressed upon his face.

The Gym Leader looked at Jalance with indifferent eyes, standing in a much more relaxed pose as the challengers Pokémon were released onto a platform in the center of the pool. Since not all opponents had the ability to swim, it was fair to give all types a chance. A Ninetails and a Buneary, a Fire type and a Normal type. She didn't consider the Jade Pokémon to be of any threat to her team, for if they relied on Fire type attacks, they were surely at a disadvantage.
"You knew that this would be a Water Gym, it says on the sign. " Aqua commented to Jalance, but she just couldn't finish that train of thought. What types of attacks did this Ninetails know? TM moves that might hurt her team? She would soon figure it out, but it was best to make some preparations just in case.
"Mi, I want you to use Water Sport. " She called out, as the Milotic made a gentle nod and dove a few inches below the waters surface. Sucking in some of the water around her before rising up, squirting a harmless spray off water around the entire field.
"Keep at it Mi, now Si...Your next. Stir things up with a Powder Snow." She was getting a little more excited to watch her commands come into play, the Sealeo nodded from its spot in the water. Holding in the air around him, using its body to turn the air into snow and ice, before spitting out a wide breath of freeze causing air at the Buneary and the Ninetails.

"Of course I knew that, but type advantage doesn't really mean anything to me," Jalance replied rather confidently, his pokemon standing proudly in front of him waiting for their commands.
Jalance's keen eyes swiftly studied the beautiful Milotic as she begun to surround the battlefield with water. A twinkle soon expressed in the trainer's eye as a few ideas floated around him. "Tereya, jump into the air and use Thunderbolt!" Jalance commanded, the Buneary quickly jumped into the air gracefully and released a bolt of electrical waves. She had to be careful not to harm the other pokemon.
After releasing her attack Tereya carefully landed back upon the platform surrounded by water, just in time for the Powder Snow Attack. "Keisei cover Tereya, and then use Sunny Day!" Jalance commanded loudly. The regal Ninetales swiftly jumped in fornt of small Buneary, using her nine tails to shield the normal pokemon from the Powder Snow. Luckily for Keisei the Ice Attack didn't do much damage to her. Mainly just blowing against her body causing a small glimmer and chill to dance around her body. A few mintunes later Keisei's body began to glow releasing a bright light from her body, which soon started to dance around above her, shiny brightly over the battlefield.

The Electric type attack soon covered the entire field, the electricity spreading into the water as both Mi and Si became injured. It was only the first attack, and endured it the best they could with a determined look. Shaking off the Thunderbolt a few minutes after it struck, they eyed Tereya with focused eyes, seeing a formidable opponent in the Normal type.
Aqua didn't seem too phased that her Pokémon were faced with a Super Effective attack, it would take more than a couple of sparks to knock her Pokémon out of the battle. Giving a small smirk over to Jalance, it was all explained when she calmly stated the next order. Though a bit giddy, because her opponent fell into a trap of her own.
"Si, use Encore on the Ninetails." Si complied, and began shouting cheers of encouragement to the Jade Pokémon. Using a bit of trickery and flattery at the same time, trying to lure Keisei to repeat the same attack for a few turns. Aqua nodded to herself in approval, and now saw the Ninetails as incapable of doing much if the Encore worked. All she had to do was find a way to counter the electric rabbit.
It would be foolish to use an attack for the use of power, no. That wasn't Mi's usual strategy, so instead they would put as much pressure as they could on the opponent trainer. See what he was really capable of when things weren't going his way.
"Mi, use a Water Pulse on that Buneary." Aqua called out, looking a little more serious about the Gym Battle. Mi made a quick chirp of acknowledgment before shooting out a forceful spiral of water at the shiny Buneary. The whole point of the attack was not to do damage, but to try and sneak confusion into their opponents. Of course, she wasn't expecting it to work right away. 30% wasn't much to hope for, but if used over and over, something had to give.

Keisei's eyes soon became dazzled with the Sealeo's shouting cheers of encouragement, and quickly fallen for the Encore attack, now the only attack that Keisei could use was Sunny Dance. However, Jalance didn't show not one worried emotion. "Keisei use Sunny Day!" Jalance shouted, knowing that the attack was going to fail, but that was the only attack that Keisei could use. Without making a noise Keisei followed her trainer's command.
"Quick Tereya, use Double Team!" Jalance commanded clearly. Tereya swiftly begun to make a group of clones around herself, making it a little easier to dodge the Water Pulse. In effect a couple of Tereya's clones vanished. "Now use Ice Beam!" Jalance commanded, quickly following Jalance's commanded the clones and the real Tereya circled around Mi and fired an ice cold blast of energy at her foe.

Aqua's eyes sparkled with pleasure at Jalance's ability to hide his emotions. She was positive that he had to be somewhat annoyed, for who in their right mind would want to keep using Sunny Day over and over? It could render any Pokémon incapable of battle if timed right.
From the pools waters, the Milotic kept her gave steady on the various Buneary clones that began to circle around her. In that case, it included Si as well, but he wasn't the target this time. Only the real Ice Beam would hit the water's surface, and Aqua thought quickly.
"Dive under water!" She urged, wishing for her Pokemon's safety and ability to last as long as possible. The Milotic gave a curt nod before sinking to the depths of the swimming pool. The Ice Beam striking through the waters, and narrowly avoiding Mi's body. Above the surface, a thin layer of ice began to form. As Mi swam back up, she had to carefully swim around the colder waters.
"Si! Mi! Use Water Gun on the Buneary's! I just know we can get the real one." Putting a stressed 'just' in, she couldn't help but feel a little competitive in this particular Gym Battle. The two Water types shot out blasts of water, each aiming in the opposite direction as the other as they spun around to try and clear the field of the Buneary clones.

Keisei continued to seem a little helpless right now seeing that she could only use Sunny Day, which didn't do anything too special, just the fact of the brilliant sunlight dancing upon her unique jade hued body. "Just hang in there, that attack should be over with soon!" Jalance shouted.
Meanwhile, Tereya continued to try and distract both of Mi and Si with her clones, which soon disappeared from the couple Water Gun Attacks. ~Buneary!~ Tereya yelled as she came into contact with one of the Water Gun Attack. "Stand your ground!" Jalance shouted watching the soaked Buneary safely. He knew that he couldn't order the bunny pokemon to use an electric attack right now.
"Jump and use Quick Attack on that Milotic!" Jalance commanded clearly. Tereya carefully jumped into the air and fired her body back down with her Quick Attack aiming her body at Mi like a high speeding, shooting star.

Still in the center of the pool, the Milotic found itself jumped on by the Buneary's Quick Attack. She was more than impressed by Tereya's ability to strike without needing the water, though maybe a bit envious. Thinking quickly she allowed her long tail to extend out of the water to Wrap her target up. Her head and neck begun to sink into the depths of the pool as she tried to further her range at grabbing the Buneary.
Aqua looked a little miffed that her Milotic acted without an order, but it was a spur of the moment type of thing. This was a little better than what she would've said (Using Water Gun), if only the attack worked they could drag that rabbit by the ears into the water. The Gym Leader felt the Sunny Day's heat forming into a humid air around her, her eyes narrowed as she realized that her Water type moves had weakened from all of the hot air in the room. The cursed side effect of Sunny Day, but at least they were still resistant to Fire Type moves.
"Si, use Water Gun on that Ninetails." She said as casually as she could, trying to make her Pokémon feel more at ease when fighting this tricky challenger. The last thing she needed was to make her team worried and anxious, that was when the worst would happen. The Sealeo bobbed his to show his approval of the attack, before shooting out a cold stream of water at the Ninetails.

~Buneary!~ Tereya wailed once she felt the death grip of Mi's elongated tailed wrapped around her tiny body. "Hang in there!" Jalance shouted with somewhat of a smile on his face. The truth was Jalance had been waiting for this attack to occur. Jalance slowly watched as the Milotic lure Tereya underwater, waiting for the perfect time to call a command.
"Tereya, use Thunderbolt!" Jalance finally commanded, Tereya's body quickly began to fizz with electric waves onto her body, giving Mi a weak taste of the Thunderbolt, but within a few seconds the tiny rabbit released all of her electric waves in hopes causing heavy damage upon the water serpent.
Meanwhile Keisei had finally snapped out of the Encore Attack. "Dodge!" Jalance shouted swiftly, without wasting anytime Keisei gracefully jumped out of the way of the weaken Water Gun Attack. "Solarbeam!" Jalance commanded loudly as a smiled expressed upon his face. Keisei carefully released a high powered blast of solar enegry from deep inside her body.

Just enough of the Thunderbolt was released into the water to have it spread out, making a ticking sensation against the water as it reached the Sealeo. Not affecting the Ice type due to the distance between him and Mi, then again he had much more things to worry about. The giant water snake cried out as the electricity traveled throughout her body, over and over the pain came in large doses which seemed to last forever. To Aqua it was only 5 seconds before seeing a weakened Milotic , but otherwise she seemed to keep a firm grip on the Buneary.
'Good, I don't need any Buneary clones waltzing around the field.' She thought scornfully, knowing just how annoying of a situation it would be. Grass, that would be super effective on a Water type like Si. She'd have to change that.
"Si, dive under water to dodge." Aqua called with a sly look in her eyes, the Sealeo nodded his comprehension before sinking down to the depths of the pool. The hot-to-the-touch Solar Beam only scarring the tips of his flesh as he begun to hide right under the water platform that Keisei stood on.
"Use Body Slam on the platform. Make it fall in." She begun to take in a sinister look on her face as she said this, most likely a look of the devil if anyone asked. Rubbing her hands together as Si slammed his whole body on the bottom side of the platform, giving it a nasty shake as he tried to shake the Fire type into a field where he would have the advantage.
Mi was still holding on tightly with her Wrap attack, except now she was slowly bringing the Buneary under the waters. Where she wouldn't be able to breathe. Mi would however, making it to her advantage.

'Hmm, the Sealeo is pretty swift when in water,' Jalance thought to himself as he watched the Ice/Water pokemon escape most of the Solarbeam Attack. "Keisei hang on tight girl!" Jalance shouted as he noticed the platform begun to shake from force of the heavy Sealeo's Body Slam. Keisei tried her best to maintain her balance, but the force was way too strong, and she slowly slipped into the water, however, her head and front paws where still hanging unto the platform. "Keisei, use Tail Whip!" Jalance commanded. Keisei soon elongated her tail to reach for the Sea Lion Pokemon, the long tails looked like elegant eels swimming Si's way. Hopefully, the attack would tickle Si a little to stop him from hitting the platform, but more important decrease his defense.
~Neary!~ Tereya cried out in fear of being dragged underwater. "Tereya, stop calm!" Jalance shouted, looking over into the direction of his frighten Buneary. <Use Pound!" Jalance commanded once Tereya had calmed down. Tereya not wasting anymore time swiftly begun to pound Mi's body heavyily with her left ear.

The Sealeo snickered from the gentle brush of Keisei's tails, each time his large body made contact with her long and now mop-like fur he held in a laugh. Eventually he had to stop ramming into the platform to swim away to a safer distance. His fins covering his mouth to try and regain his common sense.
Aqua looked unimpressed with Jalance's methods, trying to create some fake copy of a 'Tickle' attack was somewhat interesting. It wouldn't be enough to solve their little problem, because the Fire type was still in the pool. Hanging on only by its front paws on the tiny platform. This would be fixed very quickly.
"Si, swim to the other side of the platform and get on it." She instructed, pausing only to watch her Sealeo follow the directions. Si was defiantly much faster in the water than on the land. Swimming with an inelegant wavering in the pool, he reached other end of the pool. Climbing his way on top with a tiny waggle of his tail, he gave a triumphant look towards Aqua.
"Send that Ninetails in the pool permanently with Water Gun." She cried with a sudden burst of energy. She was never in favor of long lasting battles, for they always ended up hurting her own Pokémon. So if they knocked out this Solarbeam user quickly, it would be much easier on her Milotic and Sealeo. Despite the Sunny Day's power, Si was able to shoot out a Water Gun in Keisei's direction. Aiming more at her paws and face rather than her entire body. Aiming to send her into the pool.
Mi was having a rougher time with the Buneary than she originally thought, each Pound attack was turning some of her once beautiful scales into a black and blue bruise. Eventually the struggle was turning to be too much for her to handle, and doing the only thing she could, flung the Buneary away from her. Or at least thought she was, if Jalance hadn't planned something.

While the Sealeo swam away to a new location, Keisei slowly pulled herself up onto the platform. "Good job Keisei," Jalance shouted as he glanced over into the direction of his fox Pokémon. While gaining composer of her body, Keisei was easily pushed back by Water Gun Attack, but at the same time she wasn't pushed back into the pool. "I have an idea!" Jalance shouted looking over at Keisei, and the now released from Mi's grip, Tereya, who had swiftly used her strong feet to return to her trainer's side.
"Keisei, use Flamethrower into the pool, and Tereya use Thundershock with it!" Jalance commanded, in hopes of heating up the pool, and taking out Mi, who was still inside the pool. ~Nine!~ Keisei shouted releasing a hot, scarlet hued blast of fire that was super-powered by the Sunny Day. Soon Tereya released a Thunderbolt upon the surface of the pool, which soon started to dance around the pool swiftly.

Aqua gaped at Jalance's ridiculous sounding plan, though she had to admit she was getting worried for the safety of her Milotic. Any double attack on a single Pokémon could take a lot out of a Pokemon, never less the actual pool. As the Flamethrower was shot into the pool, steam began to rise from the top, and Mi anxiously looked at Aqua for help. Both girls were speechless as on what to do as the deadly Thunderbolt was shot out into the pool, though the Buneary wasn't an electric type, it was a hard hit on the Milotic.
"Miiiiiii!" The Milotic cried out as the heat from the pool and the electricity began to fade away. It didn't knock her out, but now she was reduced to panting heavily while sending glares at Keisei. Aqua bit her lip as she tried not to cry out for her Pokemon, but faltered when she saw Si giving a panicking wave of the flipper to her. That's right, they forgot about Si. She also assumed that Mi mostly likely survived because of her Water Sport from earlier. Weakening Fire attacks.
"Si, use Body Slam on the Ninetails. Mi, use Water Pulse on the Buneary." So what if Water attacks were weakened. She was still going to aim for some type of confusion on the Buneary. Even as Si and Mi began to start conducting their commands, the Gym Leader was frowning from the serious damage inflicted on Mi.

<Ninetales!> Keisei wailed once she felt the massive body of Si collapsed across her body long, but gentle body. "Come on hang on!" Jalance shouted as he watched the pain being expressed through Keisei's eyes. "Try and use Iron Tail!" Jalance commanded, soon Keisei jade tails began to glow a metallic color, with in few seconds she begun to swang her loose tails like a lossa in hopes of nailing the Water/Ice Pokémon.
Tereya was soon knocked by back the strong force of water from Mi's Attack, and she quickly become confused. "Snap out of it and use Pound!" Jalance shouted swiftly. Tereya did fire her Pound Attack like her trainer commanded, but instead of attacking Mi, she attacked herself.

The super effective strikes against the Sealeo caused him to cringe in pain, it was as if all of his protective fat was being beaten out of him. Though Aqua was encouraging him to stay on the Ninetails from the sidelines, he knew he had to get off. It was like bug spray to a bug, except this was only temporary. Si panted a bit from the damage from the Steel type attacks multiple strikes, and the marks shown all over his body.
Mi gave a sigh of relief at the Buneary's sudden state of confusion, which probably saved herself another round of action. Her entire body was feeling weak from the electric attacks and the constant pounding, and alerted Aqua to this with a small whimper of pain as she moved into a more comfortable position in the water.
This kids good, not many trainers know about Ice's weakness to Steel. But that doesn't help me much. Now I'm nervous about attacking them directly, but he thought it out. Sunny Day weakens my long distance strikes, which practically forces me to go ahead with normal moves. Still, the Ninetails being a fire type...Something has to give.'
"Okay guys, switch up! " Aqua announced out of the blue, while Si gave an affirmative nod and dived off the platform and closer to Tereya, Mi winced every few moments as she made her way closer to Keisei.
"Si, use Ice Ball, Mi. Wrap up the Ninetails and drag'er in" By 'in', the Gym Leader was referring to the pool. If you couldn't push something out of the way, try pulling it in. That was how her thought process went, and as for Ice Ball, if the Buneary was confused Si would have more time to generate stronger Ice Balls. Aqua gave a cocky smile over to Jalance as she watched her team preform the commands, just what would he do next?

"Okay guys, switch up! " Once hearing the recent command, Jalance quickly glance over into the direction of both of his pokemon. "Okay guys stay focus!" Jalance sighed looking over at Keisei and than over to Tereya, he had to admit that he was a little nervous about Tereya's confusion.
"Tereya dodge!" Jalance shouted swiftly, but it was a little too late the small Ice Ball had quickly brushed against Tereya's body, causing to fall back and pant deeply. "Use Thunderbolt!" Jalance shouted, giving the Buneary enough time to recover her ground. ~Buneary!~ she cooed spending a blast of bolts over to the Sealeo.
While focusing on Tereya. Jalance really didn't have anytime to call a command with Keisei, so in effect the fire fox pokemon was forcefully getting pulled underwater. <Nine!> She cried as her body touched the water, and without waiting for a command she fired a massive Overheat attack, which was powered by the Sunny Day, from her body into the water, hoping to once again cause some kind of damaged upon the Milotic.

Due to two of the four Pokémon staying in the water at the release of the Thunderbolt's release, both Water types suffered damage. Si receiving the largest amount of damage from the attack as he wailed in pain. Yet he was a persistent one, and the Ice Balls wouldn't stop forming in his mouth as he launched a stronger one at the Buneary.
The water began to get dangerously hot as the Overheat was released into the water. Si was unphased by the heat, due to his thick fat. Mi was screeching from the extreme temperature in the water, and collapsed into a faint. Leaving Keisei in the water, safe from any of her attacks. Aqua grunted her frustration at this, but she was somewhat pleased that Mi did her job well. Water Sport was still in effect, so her next Pokémon should have protection, along with Si. She returned the Milotic in a huff, and quickly let out La. Shouting out the command right after the Water type emerged from the Pokeball.
"Rain Dance" The Gym Leader announced as the gigantic Lapras let out a glowing orb of water into the air, which began to burst into a long lasting mist of rain. It didn't take long for the pool's waters to cool down from the rain, for it began to pour heavier and heavier.
