The Spot Panda leaned to one side, causing the Growlithe to zoom past harmlessly; she giggled slightly, swaying drunkenly to turn around, and then unleashed her retaliatory attack.
A loud cacophony of growls, barks and yips burst forth from her mouth as she stumbled dangerously, aiming the attack at Aiki as best she could; Uproar was a fun move to use, at least by definition of the Spinda.

The package of irritating noises the Spinda produced was simply dispelled by Aiki; he wouldn't be shaken. His soft orange and black-stripped pelt ruffled as a swift autumn breeze whipped by; shaking everything that it could grasp. The 'morph, standing close behind the feud with her Vaporeon by her side, vainly replaced some of her misplaced dirty-blond hair before calling out,
"Overheat!"
The fire-canine nodded to that simple command and confidently opened his pale-yellow maw. Suddenly, large waves of unbearable heat lashed from the depths of his maw toward the Spinda, who currently looked as if it was having a temper-tantrum.

<Spinda!> The Spinda cried, getting blazed by Aiki's massive Overheat Attack. <Looks like this dance is over,> The panda pokemon added in a melancholy tone, before fainting slowly.
Aiki gains one level!

Dessa immediately grinned in a silly way- her maroon tongue poking slightly between her teeth as her peaked fangs were shown- after the fainting of the drunken-like Spinda. Though soon after, she began to ponder something about the soon-approaching town, which it seemed was located just over the horizon, I'll be using Chaz and Aiki; but Chaz is part ground, so I won't need to worry much about him. A tad bit more training on Aiki's part wouldn't hurt. Her 'morph ears twitched slightly in thought as she slowly removed the hand resting on her hip to praisingly stroke the head of the Growlithe padding idly around her feet.
"Up for some more training?"
The girl didn't wait for an answer to this, but instead whipped from her bag her last potion being held in a pale teal and purple container. Trying to get it in a correct position in her left hand, she flipped it about for several odd moments until it came to a rest in her grip. Both of the canines looked curiously at each other, debating silently which one would get the pleasure of training. Though, to Roo's dismay, the Potion was brought down upon Aiki and sprayed among the few somewhat minor scratches he had recently acquired. The tiger-patterned canine shook his fur wildly after the liquid had been sprayed on him, and he had to admit, being a fire-type, the only good liquid was one that actually had use. The 'morph smirked at this, but then retracted her hand to place the empty container back into the depths of her bag.
<"Good, now lets go.">
Aiki grunted to both of his company before turning and letting himself begin to pad off in front of the duo close behind him. Dessa rolled her eyes at the anxious attitude of the canine as she and the Vaporeon close beside her sprinted to catch up.

The next Pokemon seemed perfectly sober, aside from how it was humming a tune that sounded awfully like 'I am 'Enery the Eighth, I am, I am' as it crawled along slowly. The pink-and-white patterned slug tossed its head to and fro, eyes closed contentedly as it slid over the uneven ground, clearly oblivious to anything around it. Looks like a West Sea Shellos has stumbled across you!

Both the canines, who were now both evenly padding at Dessa's ankles, slightly cocked their heads to the side as the Shellos came into their line of view. The group of pink monotone antennae-like objects bundled onto its head was an odd site, along with the overall sluggish appearance of it. Its beady black eyes, which were encircled by a thin ring of white, were closed contently as it hummed out a melody, though the creature was horribly off pitch to the trio listening.
Dessa slowly sighed and let her arms hang limply by her side as she slowly walked toward the Pokemon in their path; trying not to intimidate. She noticed her once golden tennis-shoes were now somewhat of a duller color of what they once were, but her socks, which stopped at her ankles, had stayed the pearly white color they had always been. As she ran a group of fingers through her mane of dirty-blond hair, she spoke, but tried to produce enough volume where the Shellos would identify that someone was speaking to it,
"Hello, would you be up to a battle with my Pokemon? If you have any friends hanging around, a double battle preferably. . ."
She shifted her arms to gesture toward the two canines situated at her feet, who were slightly eying the water-type.

The Shellos stopped its singing as the Typhlosion morph spoke to her, and took her time to observe the two canines beside her, before finally replying. {A battle, with two?} she said slowly, considering Dessa's offer carefully. {Yes, I suppose that would be a good occupation of time.} After another moment of careful consideration, she turned and looked into the direction she had come from, as if waiting for something. Soon, another Shellos crawled out, this one blue and green in color, with two cloud-shaped, wing-like extensions on his back, and a pair of softly curving antennae on his head. {Shall we?} said the West Sea Shellos, to which the East Sea Shellos replied with a short nod. Both Pokémon remained side by side, awaiting the morph's commands to her own Pokémon.

Dessa nodded appreciatively as she watched the second Shellos creep beside the other. Both looked similar in their shape, but very different overall. Unlike the pink water-type the group had first encountered, this slug consisted of golds, greens, and blues; along with different shaped features such as its cloud-like wings and sleek, wispy antennas that were topped with a thick white ring.
"I will be using my Growlithe and my Gible."
She shifted her waist to allow herself to easily hook two red and white spheres from her belt in either hand, one of which was full, while the other was emptied of its contents. She directed one of the pokeballs toward Roo, who was gleaming up the 'morph in an awaiting way. Dessa muttered something, the only legible words being 'come back', before the sphere softly clicked open to recall the aqua-canine in a swift flash of crimson aura. After the sphere collapsed shut, it was reattached to its proper place among the girl's belt before her attention was turned to the remaining pokeball still being held tight in her grasp.
"Chaz, come."
The ball, which in its surface reflected the warm hued colors of its surroundings, split open in an instant to let out a green monotone Gible, obviously one of the rarer Jade species by its odd coloring. The husky dragon-like Pokemon, dazed, blinked a few times to get a grip on things before observingly looking over the situation; obviously a double-battle was about to take place. He then quizzically beamed up toward his trainer with his dark emerald gaze, which in turn got the girl to nod, as if she knew the Gible was questioning her if his conclusion was correct.
"Okay, Aiki, start it off with a Leer; the West Sea."
The fire-canine acceptingly nodded to those commands before narrowing his gleaming amber gaze into a threatening position. He shifted his stout body to face the sky-blue Shellos and immediately made eye contact with the water-type.
"Chaz, Sand-attack then follow up with Dragon Rage, same target."
Dessa obviously was scheming a plan in her head: take down one at a time. The brawny dragon was anxious to fight his first battle since he was bought by the 'morph, so he waisted no time proceeding. Using both of his somewhat stubby arms, he quickly heaved several globs of sand at his target, almost like a immature little kid playing in a sandbox. This was, of course, followed up by a powerful blast of sea foam-green fire from his snout, which appeared to have no significant mark of begging or end on his face or overall body.

The west Shellos was frozen as it's gaze went on the Growlithe's and couldn't dodge the other two attacks due to the shock of Aiki's threatening stare, and was intimidately hit by the sand attack, and also the dragon rage. The pokemon fell to the ground but quickly got up, but was panting,<Oh, so it like that huh?!>The west Shellos asked as it looked over at the east one and it nodded back. Suddenly they both fired a pulse of water at the dog like pokemon, it was a Water Pulse attack.

Aiki was somewhat concerned about his type disadvantage in this fight, more so the duo of super-effective Water Pulses being fired toward him at the moment, but being a leader-like figure in his mind, he didn't lose hope in his abilities. In several swift movements, he sleekly dove and ducked several times to fortunately evade most of the blasts of threatening water that thundered at him, but one of the twin attacks sill managed to brisk his back; causing him to forcefully muffle a yowl that wanted to emit from the depths of his throat. The canine's claws bent down hard onto the ground beneath him to sustain a rush of anger toward the slug-like Pokemon which was overcoming him.
Dessa bit down hard on her pale pink lip in worry as she watched both the Shellos deploy water-based attacks; this wouldn't be a easy battle by the looks of it. Her 'morph ears gently bobbed a bit, ruffling some of the hair were they grew from her head, before she uttered,
"Repeat."
Both the stout dragon and the canine, despite his fading case of irritation, turned their attention fully back to the green, gold, and blue Shellos, rather then its pinker companion. The duo both struck a paw, or in Chaz's case foot, strongly forward to declare they were not afraid before Aiki, once again, narrowed his gaze dangerously at the creature in a second Leer.
Meanwhile, the green-hued Gible had quickly picked up two more globs of loose deposits off the path under him and let them set heavily, but balanced in his palm. He then, using a under-arm like throw, hurled both of the dry soil collections toward the West Sea Shellos. After this, he opened his snout, which was lined carefully with somewhat tiny shark-like teeth, and let another round of wispy blue-green fire emit from it.

The two water types were now prepared for the attacks and both smirked as they splited up. The eawest one closed it's eyes and fired a mud bomb at a random direction due to the fact that it closed it's eyes to avoid the leer attack. Meanwhile the east one fired a water pulse, at the sand attack and dragon rage to try to cancel out the two attacks on the west one.

Dessa scowled as the West Shellos closed its beady gaze, which utterly left the canine's glare unable to do anything. Aiki sharply grunted as the fiery Leer ceased in his amber orbs, though the globs of messy mud fired blindly by the water-type zoomed past harmlessly, soon after shapelessly splattering upon the earth behind the canine. He shifted his head to shoot a frustrated glance toward the 'morph, hopefully signaling he wanted out of this mess.
Dessa awkwardly tried to understand what the fire-hound was trying to wordlessly signal before she understandingly made a jerky movement toward her belt. Of course, he wanted out; this was too dangerous for him being a pure fire-type. Her left hand lightly glazed over the red and white spheres before they abruptly stopped on one. Pulling the pokeball off with a quick tug, the 'morph shifted it in her grasp to direct it at Aiki before calling,
"Aiki, come back."
The sphere then split open cleanly at those words and beamed from its depths a crimson aura. It engulfed the canine in a matter of seconds before he was pulled back and, in a swift movement, the ball collapsed shut. Quickly, Dessa reunited the sphere with its designated space on her belt before another containment device was chosen and its containments called upon.
"Devon, it's your time to shine."
The device immediately retracted into two even pieces and beckoned forth the petite beast it contained. The creature was of a small, compact stature; hovering freely about the height of Dessa's shoulder. Obviously a fully-energized Castform, this male looked ready to duel. The duo shared a ready wayward grin before the girl issued commands,
"Devon, Powder Snow. Chaz, another Dragon Rage."
The stout dragon-type gave a shy smile to his newly-released teammate as the commands rang through his sensors. His dark emerald-green gaze then shifted toward the West Shellos once again. Seafoam-green flames began to lick from the inside of his slightly opened snout, rapidly getting thicker and deadlier as the seconds passed by. Swiftly, the flames were called forth to thunder toward the West Sea water-type in a raging beam.
The versatile normal-type shuffled effortlessly about in the air, the cloud-like formation under his body propelling him along. His beady black eyes pinpointed to the same target his teammate had aimed for just moments ago as a gust of chilling wind seemed to blow up from nowhere. Puffs of snow began to fly among the wind as it was commanded gracefully by Devon, getting heavier and faster as the invisible winds proceeded to encircle the Casform. Then, almost as if it had been commanded by the earth itself, the winds shifted and lashed toward the West Sea Shellos like a whip.

<I could use some help!> The West Shellos cried, glaring at the seaform green flames coming it's way, along with the windy Power Snow Attack. <Don't worry, I'm coming!> The East Shellos cried, crawling back over to help protect it's friend as fast as it could.
<Shellos!> The East Shellos cried, getting whipped harshly by the Power Snow Attack. <Your power is something very rare, you can't find many pokemon who are able to control their power like you,> The East Shellos said commenting it's foe before getting back up with a Water Gun Attack.
Meanwhile the West Shellos took on the seaform flames. <Ahh,> The West Shellos wailed, closing it's eyes at the the flames dance up on it's body. <That's enough!> The West Shellos shouted, releashing another huge jet of rushing water at the dragon type pokemon.

Devon happily twirled and danced in the air to his own gleeful, silent beat after he had saw the swift winds of his chilling attack had overcome the pink and gold Shellos. That hadn't been his direct target for impact, but a hit was a hit; the moment wasn't a picky one. Though his moment of self-praise was abruptly cut short as the violent burst of water buffeted against his pale grey skin, causing the petite normal-type to be thrown back in mid-spin a rough foot or so. Devon sharply huffed in an irritated way as his body came to cease from the impact upon him moments ago and let his tiny mouth curled into a slight frown in the presence of his attacker.
Meanwhile, Chaz effortlessly danced from the thundering beam of water let loose toward him; letting it meaninglessly rush past him. The insignificant sized tail that grew upon the posterior of the reptile scarcely twitched as its owner's expression furrowed a bit in thought. Dessa shifted a arm, specifically her left arm, to stretch directly out in front of her; her index finger pointing while the other appendages limply curled under her palm. With a sly, confident sneer accesorizing, she called,
"Shock Wave then another Dragon Rage; keep your distance!"
The raised arm fell back to the 'morph's side as she watched her duo unhesitatingly preform the tasks as recently issued. The green-hued Gible fell to quad position; all twelve of his sharp claws digging into the earth below. More of the wispy green-blue flames began to spout from his maw before, in a massive flurry, they were propelled harshly at the West Sea Shellos.
Effortlessly and expertly, a thin jolt of electricity was sent spiraling from the antennae-like object upon Devon's head at dashing speeds toward the West Sea Shellos; following up his teammate's dragon based attack.

<Nooooo!> The East Sea Shellos cried, jumping infront of it's friend, taking in the Shockwave Attack. <Shells, no!> The West Sea Shellos cried, watching it's friend faint effortless onto the soft ground. The West Sea Shellos, still in shock wasn't able to dodge Chazz's Dragon Rage Attack, quickly fainted right behind it's friend.
Both Chazz and Devon gains one level each!

[[ I think Aiki gets a level, too. Since he participated for, like, 2/3 of the battle. ]]
Not the type for verbally voicing his glee, a content smile etched its way onto Devon's petite features as he watched the string of lightning he had beckoned forth strike upon the East Sea Shellos. Though, why had the stricken Shellos taken the deadly-typed attack for its comrade? It was an honorable deed to sacrifice yourself for the people you truly care for, but Devon did not know this. Besides the cramped area that he was raised in when he was among the other Pokemon of the adoption center he once resided in, he had never experienced a true 'friendship' which was as strong as the bond these two Pokemon shared; what a new concept.
Still effortlessly floating a rough foot or so off the surface of the earth beneath him, he heedlessly twirled his circular body to face the direction of Dessa, who was nervously running her fingers over her knuckles as she watched the battle creep to a cease before her. That girl was all he knew to care for, she was the only one he knew to trust and give it all the same; she was his trainer. His beady black gaze slowly blinked a few times before a slow, soft exhale pressed from his somewhat tiny mouth. All pride of his victory pressed aside without much thought, the Castform retreated back to the 'morph's right side; now silently hovering about at shoulder height.
Similar to his teammate, Chaz felt no need to gloat as his sharp jade gaze followed the movements of his wispy green-blue fames; seeing as they struck upon the last remaining Shellos that had not be taken down by the swift thread of lightning. He had saw the fear and unbelieving shock the water-type had expressed in its overall expression, more so its widened gaze, before its body had went limp and fell with a light 'thump' to the ground. Should he feel somewhat guilty?
Though, it was over now, they had won this feud. He held his head, which had no obvious parting from its torso, high, but not quite haughtily, as he too turned to withdraw back to his trainer's side. His steps slightly fumbled and messy, you could tell the stout dragon was nothing short of exhausted as he leaned tiredly against the left calf of Dessa's leg. Chaz's eyes flickered shut as he felt the warm skin of the female, though he truly wanted the quiet lonesome of his pokeball at the moment.
Somewhat tired herself, Dessa shifted to let a hand latch limply to her right hip as her body leaned slightly to the left. She used her other hand to soothingly massage her forehead as she proudly whispered out,
"Good job."
Retracting the hand from her forehead, along with the appendage resting upon her hip, she took two of the six red and white spheres that were secured to her belt. Straightening her posture some, she pushed her thumb on both hands to cover the circular white button that acted as a release function for the pokeballs. Then, slowly applying pressure, the spheres cleanly split open to beam from their depths a ruby aura. The aura engulfed both the Pokemon that had been released from their containment and swiftly withdrew them back before the spheres collapsed shut.
Latching the containment devices back to their designated placed among her belt, she turned her moment's attention to the duo of fainted Shellos that were piled not far from her. A sharp exhale was emitted from the 'morph before she strode ahead to the unconscious duo and, squatting down, she gently nudged both of the water-types off to the side of the path with both of her hands; hopefully protecting them from further harm. She stretched her body back up to full height as she realized a city was clear in the horizon-- Île Électrique. She felt she was ready to take what awaited for her, no hesitation acceptable anymore. She continued to head forward to the nearing end of Route 1; proud, ready, nervous.
Closed.
