Ah, the air was clean here. Allowing the gentle breeze and the soft aroma of flowers into his lungs, he sighed. A brilliant day....to get his plans underway.
Corbin kicked a flower in his way and crushed it beneath his left sandal. Nature was pitiful. Everything seemed to live just to recreate...but wasn't there a deeper purpose to life? Weren't the strong supposed to shape the future and the weak to watch them rise? Was there really more to just ensuring the survival of a species?... He liked to think so. Corbin was a part of a grander design in this world: his own.
Proceeding along the route with a rather ambivalent expression on his face, he released his new Pokémon. Dropping a ball behind him, a Chimchar appeared. It wandered awkwardly at his heels, eyes flitting to and fro.
"Only the weak cower before the unknown" he said coldly, "You're with me now. It's not a mistake - it's destiny. I'm going to make you into what you should be"
Corbin then turned to the shivering monkey, who had no choice but to stare into his horrible eyes. She didn't have anything to hide herself. She'd have to comply. Slowly, she nodded, trying to fight back the tears. Why?...

Just after Corbin spoke, a rather random event took place. "RATTA!!!!!!!!" Shrieked a rat pokemon, as it leapt onto Corbin's face from a near tree branch. Wiggling its front and fore legs, it attempted to rake its claws through his face-skin for no reason.

Sighing, Corbin pryed the tiny rat Pokémon off of his face. His body's opaqueness shifted slightly, his skin going transparent for a split second.
"Never had that happen before" he admitted, smiling. He very well shouldn't have been - he had a big bite mark on his face now and a few scratches.
"Now's your chance" he said plainly, "Attack it" Corbing ordered as he held the Rattata by the tail, expecting his Chimchar to do something.
Shivering, she jumped forward and he dropped the rat to her.

The purple rat thrashed around in the air, long tail in the man's grip. Squeaking, it tried desperately to nip at the man's fingers to let go. But its wish was granted differently; it had been dropped to the ground, crashing on its stomach. Groaning, it growled at the monkey and then played dead, remembering that it had been confronted by potential predators.

Mizaru had leaped forward as instructed, but had paused abruptly as the Rattata fell and 'fainted' from impact. Tilting her head, she backed off, fearing that Corbin had done something to kill it.
"Pathetic" Corbin remarked disapprovingly, "And naive. Let me show you how it's done"
Pulling out Izanami's Pokéball, he released his Larvitar. A nasty little bitch of a specimen appeared with the flash of particularily dim light. One could tell that it was not good nature like it's fellow comrade. Glaring at the rat playing dead, Larvitar immediately stepped to the occasion and performed a rather cruel Stomp attack, kicking at the rodent like it was some kind of toy to be abused.
"Watch and learn..." Corbin muttered, lowering his body to Mizaru's level. Uncomfortable, the monkey was forced to watch the horrible scene. She didn't want Rattata to get hurt....

The rattata let out a shrill shriek as it was stomped on the stomach, and jumped up after it was stomped a second time. Pained squeaks escaped its mouth, and it ran at the larvitar to tackle it, seeing that playing dead wouldn't work.

"See?" Corbin asked, nudging his poor Chimchar, "That's how it's done. The weak don't deserve any mercy. Don't expect your opponents to show you any, because I won't"
Mizaru swallowed hard and bit her lip. She didn't like this. She didn't like this at all... Hell, she didn't even like being touched affectionately by her trainer, if that could even be called an affectionate gesture. Sadly, there was no escape. She was stuck with this tyrant and a cruel Larvitar. She'd have to mesure up or she'd be risking her life.
"Izanami...Outrage" Corbin said calmly.
Glowing a hideous crimson colour, Izanami charged at Larvitar fearlessly, knowing that a Tackle attack would do very little with her type advantage. Closing in on Rattata, she yelled loudly before attacking mercilessly with the dragon type attack.

The rough flames struck its side, making the Rattata squeal irregularly into the air. Shrieking in anguish, it jumped at the Larvitar, hissing angrily and trying another Scratch.

The Larvitar's rampage continued. The intensity of the flames increased. Charging, she planned on catching Rattata head on with her attack. Sneering, she whipped around and focused on the objective as the two tiny Pokémon clashed a second time. This round, however, Izanami felt the claws grapple at her skin.
Corbin sighed. "It's not a difficult concept" he said plainly, as if he were drifting off, "But if you chose to make it that way...well, I hope that you won't end up feeling the consequences" The sinister man's left hand placed itself upon Mizaru's shoulder. For a few moments, it shifted, becoming a very inhuman set of claws. They gripped a little tighter as the hand transformed itself into something ugly. Mizaru cringed and gasped.
"Chim!....char...Chi" she muttered, just about to wail, Okay!...Please...Stop' Corbin released her and he stood himself up again. Relieved, Mizaru fell to her knees. She was going to have to. There was no option. Biting her lip, she tried to calm herself. Soon Larvitar would become confused due to Outrage's negative side-effect. Then it would be her turn to take the stage.

This time, the Rattata predicted the larvitar's next attack and was able to dodge in time, rolling to the side. Dust lingering in the air, eyes were a bit hazed but the rat's mind told it not to give up. It's ability, "Guts", told it to be stronger now that it was weak. Hissing in anger, the rattata used a Tail Whip against the rock and ground type and closed in for yet another Scratch.

"Larv!" Izanami shouted, falling back after being hit by a stronger Scratch attack, Damn!' The red light surrounding her faded as the attack was finished. Feeling a strange whirling sensation in her head, she cringed and had difficulty getting up.
Gulping, Mizaru stepped in front and took her place. Making fists with her little apish hands, she suddenly took off at Rattata, using Tackle.
"Larv Tar" Izanami said snidely, looking malevolently at her ally, 'Don't trip' Corbin smiled.

Piercing red eyes caught a glimpse of the charging monkey, and the rattata whirled to the side, skidding to a stop about 9 feet away from the enemy. Hissing, it ran at Mizaru and raised a claw to scratch its new foe.

Ducking, Mizaru squeeked a bit as she barely avoided the attack. Unable to retaliate, she couldn't attack this turn..or perhaps she refused. She couldn't do it.
"I'm getting bored" Corbin said dangerously, covering his mouth as he yawned. Larvitar was feeling a bit better. She obviously wanted to get back in the fray. Mizaru just didn't have what it took to be of use at all.

The rattata's eyes shifted as it waited for the opponent's next move. After a few moments, it tilted its head, rather confused. Ah, well... at least the monkey could be taken down more easily. Hissing, it jumped at the monkey, both claws stretching outward to rake through the enemy.

OOC: Oops, Chimchar doesn't have Tackle. It's Scratch >_>; My bad.
"Attack, damnit. You don't want to make me impatient" Corbin continued threateningly, despite the fact that his tone of voice still had not changed. Larvitar gave Mizaru a fiery glare. It was a glare so fiery, that it easily outshine the flames on Mizaru's tail (if you could really call it fire; it was more like smoke).
Closing her eyes, Mizaru swung blindly at Rattata with Scratch as she tried to fend off the incoming attack. Futile effort. She was pinned to the ground by the small rat. Izanami couldn't help but utter a laugh. She swung a second time, this round she managed to keep one eye open.

{{ooc// Meh... they're same attacks to me xD

ROFL.}}
The rattata smirked as it pinned the monkey, but jumped off as the chimchar tried its second attempt. However; it was still scratched, and blood fell from its wounds. About now it was 75 percent dead, or in other words, 25 percent concious. Letting out a squeak, it whirled around the makeshift arena and then, when it was behind the monkey, charged so fast that it was invisible. It was running straight at Mizaru; Quick Attack, famous for its deadly... quickness.

"Dodge" Corbin said boredly, looking at his...nails? It appeared he was growing impatient. Acknowledging this fact, Mizaru made the effort to jump up over Rattata. She did this rather unskillfully, but bared her claws as she came crashing down on the rat.
Izanami laughed. "Larv!" she wailed, 'Pathetic!'

The Rattata was getting rather annoyed with the monkey, and glared at it; a Leer. The fact that the opponent's sharp claws were in its skin was rather painful, and the rat let out a cry, jumping as high as it could to get the fire type off.

Shaken free, Mizaru tumbled to the ground. After several backwards sommersaults, she stopped at Corbin's feet. She just couldn't do it anymore. It was impossible to keep going...
"You disappoint me, but I'll deal with you later" Corbin said coldly, "Izanami, get back in there. Stomp. Now"
Jumping to the occasion, it appeared as if Larvitar had recovered a little earlier than expected. Perhaps it was her inner will that spurred her to heal faster. She wanted to get back in there. Charging again, she placed her foot out as she tried another Stomp.

The larvitar's foot was easily lodged into the cranny of the purple mouse pokemon's back, pinning it against the ground. "Rattataaaa!" It squeaked, eyes shut tightly as it endured the pain. It swiftly attempted to squeeze out from under the larvitar by using quick attack, with which, if successful, the rattata would turn on its heels and aim straight for the opponent.
