He tossed another pokeball and decided if the damn rat was going to free itself again he wouldn't waste another pokeball for it.

A little ways up the path, beneath the overshadowing branches of the trees, a girl could be seen sitting at the base of a large plant. Her bare legs were huddled against her chest, Arcanine print rollerblades sticking out before her, brakes digging into the soft earth. Her hands were clothed in matching gloves, holding onto the opposite arm as they wrapped around her knees. A short, red skirt clung to her bottom, twirling around her toned calves. An off-white shirt overlapped the skirt a bit, soon hidden beneath the tight red sweater above. Brown curls cascaded down the girl's shoulders from beneath a long-horned viking helm, its rim just at the top of her large orange eyes. She stared across her legs at a small spheal pokemon, a concerned expression on her tanned features.
The spheal merely blinked and smiled up at his trainer, large round body still, his tiny tail flapping every once and a while, creating smacking noises as it collided with the ground.

This time the pokeball barely moved as it enclosed the Rattata within its small confinement.

The pokemorph let out a small grin, walking up to where he can "see" the pokeball and placed it in his belt.
"You did fine, Ousama," He praised the penguin pokemon that nodded loyally to him. Kronos returned him to his pokeball and stretched, the sun beaming in his face as he began walking. Which was toward the girl, but he didn't see her. Or hear.

The girl's orange irises were quickly attracted to the maker of the sound of shoes against earth, her pupils bouncing up and down his tall and skinny form quickly. Perhaps this guy could help her with her questions, it sure did feel like she had a lot. To make her precense known, she pushed herself up, using the trunk of the tree she had been leaning against to keep her balance on her rollerblades. Her spheal hopped back a few steps to ensure the wheels wouldn't roll over his small blue flippers.
"Uhm, hello.." The brunette addressed the other trainer, voice soft and quiet. "Are you a.. pokemon trainer?" She asked nervously.
"Spheal! Spheal!" The small seal pokemon chirped jovially, smiling up at the stranger.

He was startled, even though he could hear a presence near by. Kronos blinked, not turning his head to the girl. Why would he? What's the point?
"Officially today, yes," The pokemorph smiled lightly.
"I am guessing you are?"

"Well, I guess.." The young teenager replied, bright eyes wandering. "I don't really know what to do, you see.. I guess I'm supposed to.." She stopped there, curious eyes finally creeping up to meet Kronos's, although he wasn't looking at her. The brunette seemed to be contemplating something, but finally, lunged at the boy, reaching for one of his pokeballs.
"Spheal?" The small blue pokemon cocked his head, wondering what his trainer was doing.

Kronos almost jumped as he lunged at her and at first thought that she was about steal the pokeball she took, which was Ousama.
"What the hell are you doing?" He asked, turning his head toward her but didn't really look at her. His gaze was far off.

The girl took a step back, cradling the stolen pokeball against her chest as she watched Kronos with large, almost sad eyes. She contemplated his odd gaze for only a second, then turned on her heels to rollerblade in the opposite direction.
"Spheal! Spheal!" Her small pokemon grunted, unable to keep up with his trainer's speed. The sunlight bounced off of the red orb of his nose, and he stumbled on the ground in his attempt to keep up with the brunette.
"Oh!" The girl gasped, skidding to a halt in the grainy earth and heading back to her accidentally abandoned pokemon. In her haste, she tripped and fell onto the ground, gaining some rather unsightly dirt patches on her knees.

As she raced off with his Piplup, the vampire stood there a little bedazzled. Why had she just done that? She seemed far to innocent. He sighed, but then again never judge a book by it's cover.
Kronos was about to run after her until she tripped and fell over. Or so he heard. He walked toward her with a steady pace, eyes still far off.
"You're just going to hurt yourself trying to do a dirty deed," He said sternly, attempting to grasp at his pokeball.

The girl dealt no resistance to the trainer taking his pokeball back. She only sighed, defeated. "Oh, I'll never get this trainer thing right.. " she muttered as her clown-faced spheal waddled toward her.
"Spheal, spheal.." He said empathetically, rubbing his face against her cheek.

"Trainer thing? You mean..." He frowned, feeling her sadness and disappointment. Like he had done with the sad ratatatta, he got down to his knees and sat down.
"I don't suppose you think that's what trainers do? Steal other's pokemon?" Kronos sighed, but was happy she wasn't really a horrible person. Just confused.

The girl looked up at him from under her viking helmet, bringing a hand up to move it out of her vision a bit so she could get a good view at this other trainer. "You're supposed to steal what you want. That way, you don't have to hurt the pokemon in battle, right?" She said, bringing her own reasoning into the picture.

Kronos shook his head, looking over her shoulder at nothingness.
"You aren't supposed to do that," He said with a small frown, eye brow raised. His blue hair fell over his grey eyes.
"You barely injure the pokemon and capture it. Stealing is a sin."

"What's a sin?" The girl asked with a raise of an eyebrow, although the eyebrow was hidden beneath the bronze helmet.

She didn't know what a sin was? The pokemorph seemed alarmed by that and blinked emotionlessly.
"A sin is a divined law of religion. The law of Adam. If you commit a sin and do not cleanse your soul, you will go to hell," He said softly, feeling strange teaching religion to the girl. He felt like a preacher.
Heh.. A vampire preacher, that is.

"Hmm. Never heard of it." The girl said, finally getting to her feet and brushing her legs off. Her knees were still dark from the dirt. She then blinked, peering down at the pokemorph. "How come you don't look at me?" She said, not knowing whether to feel offended or not.

He, too, stood up and towered the teenage girl. He blew upward to his bangs, but they just fell back down.
"I'm blind." Kronos said simply, attaching his pokeball back to his belt.

"Oh.." She blinked, peering up at him, trying to get a better look at his eyes, thinking he wouldn't know. She was always taught to take advantage of people with handicaps and such. "So.. " She pondered; she had already blew stealing his pokemon once. And what was all this about 'sinning'? Perhaps she'd stick around with this fella for a while. "So, what do you do, for pokemon training or whatever?" She bent down carefully to pick up her clown-faced spheal.

He noticed her staring at his pupiless eyes, hearing her will his super sonic hearing. He stretched, fiddling with a pokeball he had once more unattached.
"You battle with other trainers or wild pokemon so they gain experience and grow stronger," Kronos said, brow larched.
"It's rather simple, actually."
