Kendall blushed. She knew of course he was kidding, right? She hadn't taken things too literally, she learned that in her younger ages. She had an outline of his personality, but she still had missing pieces to the puzzle. What was happening? Was she taking interest in him? Had she developed a small crush? Only time would tell.
Her eyes gazed at the ground, and as she was about to speak, a girl cartwheeled in and asked to join in their little chat. Kendall wouldn't refuse, but she did think it was someone new. She almost laughed at Matteo's question 'Of course she is new! Who else would make an entrance like that.' She giggled. She took a glance at Matteo, and rolled her eyes. Simple body language anyone could understand. She found him amusing, that was that.

Ruuri blushed; they seemed to judge her by her acts, apparently. "You can say that I'm new..." She answered, taking a seat next to Kendall so she could face him. A small lump formed in her throat as she took a small sip of her latte. "Call me Ruuri." She added quickly.
Damn. She was at a loss for words. Why now?!

Actually, he hadn’t judged her by her entrance- you know today’s youth, unpredictably energetic- but he more so wanted to find a more familiar ground, as sitting next to a demeaning master your own age beheld only little perks. He smiled, diverting his attention to her, trying to restrain his eyes from wandering to her tattoo, wow how he thought them symbolic since he knew his, indeed, a scribbled, knotted line was one. So what, hers happened to be a rose, the concept still applied. “Same here, I’m Matt,” he introduced, proffering a quizzical stare at Kendall and her amusement in him, one brow raised, shaking his head in mock pity, for he really hoped he wasn’t being that funny. She had laughed, geesh. People out there could not be categorized with an ‘of course’, though he enjoyed Kendall’s giggly tidbit in reasons beyond explanation, maybe it sounded funny, maybe her choice in words reminded him a merry, understandable couple. Scary?

Kendall's smile faded as she took a sip of her drink. She felt like laughing at the silly girl. Not to mock her, but to envy her boldness. She out her cup down and waved to teh girl. "Well hi Ruuri, I'm Kendall" She said, making a slight bow in her seat. Her smile returned. She had then noticed her tattoo. She, inside, looked a tad bit confused, but did not show it on her expression. She wouldn't comment on her tattoo, no no. She was different...right?

Matt. A simple, yet bold name...
Ruuri almost choked on her latte at the look she was getting from Kendall; not in disgust, but in slight bewilderment. She soon noticed that the girl was looking at her tattoo, and quickly blocked it with her hand. "It's... nothing." She said, blushing with a small smile.
"So... what are you guys talking about?" She asked, attempting to bring up the conversation without looking at the guy's tattoo. But it was so.... swirly. Like a snake. Damn, she loved snakes. She caught herself staring at his neck. Wtf?! Don't be a whore! She straightened back up, looking forward instead. Oi. So easy to make mistakes...

Kendall noticed again, she was staring. Her eyes gazed down to the floor, her cheeks blushing again. "Oh..sorry!" She said. Why was she making these silly, rude mistakes? She REALLY needed to get her act together.
She glanced back up and folded her legs. She pulled down her skit so she didn't look like a slut. She noted the girl's question. She wasn't to embarrassed now that someone else knew. "Well, we were just talking about the league and pokemon masters." She smiled. "And how smart they are." She added, taking a glance at Matt. Of course this girl was new, and might not know much about the league, but how could one tell, other than to read her mind?

Wow, girls apparently did blush a lot. He did not blame them, he more so pointed towards their polite nature which infused standard embarrassment in their own actions, and yes, however, he was not like that, at least externally. He wanted to laugh that Kendall once again went to staring, his eyes grazing the image of Ruuri’s body art before she momentarily blocked it with one hand, one of his fingers gently pointing to her tattoo in a shameless, stopping manner. “Well, its not like its an accident,” he said, referring to her cheek, wanting her not to cover it up- that’s the reason you got it, to stand out, a glued gaze implied to be part the package since hopefully, such ink would not be unintentional. Then he went back to the league subject, a grin crossing his features, “Only some masters, keep working for it,” he said to Kendall, his head motioned to her as he looked to Ruuri, joking o’course. Matt subconsciously noticed them fiddling about their appearance, or watching themselves so to speak; he didn’t have to worry in his, except maybe, his hair, but he gave up any physical adjustments in public, it took away from the stuck up aura.

Ruuri blushed slightly, with a smile, and took her hand off of the tattoo. She could tell he liked it; well, he didn't dislike it, at least. Why she was uncomfortable about her tattoo, she couldn't quite figure out; after all, she liked roses. But perhaps it was the fact that someone was staring at it.
Then she, like all girls do every once in a while, slid her hair back behind her shoulders and behind her ear; perhaps she didn't think her appearance was worthy enough for him or the girl that was next to her. She giggled at his words, but couldn't find anything to say, besides "When'd you start talking about Pokemon Masters?". She then pushed away her latte; she had been emptying it of its caffiene-filled content during the whole time.
{{OoC;; Lol Kendall.}}

Of course he liked the tattoo, a naive, new objection looking oh too similar to an intricate face painting, nonetheless something different, a pleasurable quality to be in tune with. He did not stare excruciatingly, that he knew first hand, got irritating, but unspoken acknowledgment, he also recognized was enough for the time being. Matteo shrugged his shoulders, his lanky physique straightened slightly upon his seat, "Don't be fooled by looks, Kendall is a master," he ejaculated in an amusing, reminiscent voice. At that point, he drew nothing else to say, figuring someone would have to put something in immediately afterwards. How could they stay quiet? It was inevitable either would talk to offer more conversation, having Matteo's limit already overpassed.

Kendall set her mug on the table to her side, turning slightly to do so. She returned to her previous form, crossed legs and folded arms, and a smile on her face. "Well, not to long ago." She shrugged to her question. And then as Matt announced her master status, she felt like blushing, but refrained. I guess, now that she was a tad bit more comfortable with them, she wasn't as embarrassed. "Well, yea." She added softly. She smiled. She tried to keep her head up, avoiding to seem like a shy person.
-ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME?!?!?!!? WHY?!?! -.-' Seriously, why?-

Ruuri stopped breathing for a moment. "Wow, I'm sitting next to a pokemon master?" She smiled, and fidgeted in her seat. "Must be fascinating, being a strong trainer and all."

[meh too o.o]
Matteo couldn’t help rolling his eyes slightly, wishing he had ordered a drink to take a thoughtful sip before answering, just to add to the ‘I have a reason for being here’ vibe, you know, besides the girls, “Eh, stop glorifying Kendall. I’ll give her due credit, that’s it. Amazing, isn’t she? Okay, what about you Ruuri? What pokemon do you have?” he asked, hoping to include them both. Sure, Kendall’s experience was great in comparison with their’s, but he most definitely would not be an awestruck type begging on any veteran wisdom whenever he quite confidently imagined his potential just as great in time. Touchy boy, huh?

Kendall nodded slightly, agreeing to his comment about glory. She hadn't dismissed the fact that she was a master, but she tended not to tell people. It usually slipped her mind, but If the subject came up, she tried to refrain from that sort of talk.
As the statement continued, she figured that Matt had taken interest in Ruuri. She smiled a bit. She awaited to hear the girl's response, and then maybe she would tell her team. It wasn't too much, but Tanjy was some point of attention. She only hoped she didn't have to release him to prove that she owned him.

Ruuri tried to stifle a giggle, but couldn't. She nearly choked on her laughter. Her face grew pink, and she smiled at his sense of humor. Cute. "Totodile and Vulpix..." She answered, quieter than usual. I need a new team. Or something.
The waiter came over, holding a notepad, to check on the guests. "Do you guys need anyzing?" He asked, in a formal manner.
"Uhh, a small vanilla milkshake please." She was thirsty, of course; it was tiring, traveling over to Verona Cafe just to get a few beverages. But it was worth it, of course.
"Very well. And what of you too?" He questioned, after scribbling Ruuri's order down.
Ruuri turned back to Matteo, smiling and awaiting his reply.
