"Megawhatt, you hit it way too hard!" Chris yelled, rushing straight into the water. Electricity was still going through it, and so Chris was zapped hard. However, he didn't care about his own safety. He wanted to help the Pokemon. When he got close enough, he took out a Pokeball and threw it. "Please work" he begged, feeling his consciousness slipping.

The ball rolled, shook and twisted around. However, the baby Lapras was too weak to effectively fight the constraints of the pokeball. The halves formed together, light faded from the button.
Success! Lapras was captured! (stats above)

((What about her level?)) Chris took the Pokeball with a smile. "You're safe now" he whispered, finally giving in and passing out in the water. Krystal would have helped, but her Confusion wasn't powerful enough to take Chris back to shore. Megawhatt began to push his trainer's unconscious body back to shore, trying to make him wake up all the way.

(lvl 5 if its a baby im sure) While trudging through the water you stumbled onto a nest of magikarp. Upon disturbing these magikarp their mother made a beeline for the shore and towards the unconcious trainer mad with rage.

((Don't worry about that. Arionne (or Dragg or Freezie, can't remember which) told me 10)) Megawhatt just glared at the oncoming Magikarp, firing a Thundershock at it. How dare it try to attack Chris in his condition?

( ROFL the mother is a gyarados dude...) The gyarados took the thundershock, and it thrashed for a moment shooting the white hot flames of dragon rage as it flailed around.

((The way you posted, it made it look as though it was a Magikarp lol)) Megawhatt stood his ground and allowed himself to be hit by the attack. He couldn't risk Chris' safety. Just then, Dark Frost released himself from his Pokeball and landed on top of the Gyrados' head, looking almost like a ninja. <Get Chris to safety!> he told Megawhatt urgently. <I'll see this one through.> With this, he used Faint Attack.

Unmissable attack hit the gyarados' cheek roughly, and it emitted a loud roar from the sting that followed. Hissing at the interfering enemies, it thrashed at them because it was so angry that they had disturbed her litter of young.

Being on top of Gyrados' head, Dark Frost couldn't dodge it and was thrown into the floor hard. Megawhatt on the other hand had managed to pull Chris away and dodge the attack. "Why are you attacking us?" Dark Frost asked with confusion as he got back up.

The Gyarados just went mad, and used Thrash on the two pokemon. She had thought they were going to hurt her children, and had been trying to protect them. It would take a lot of energy to make her see reason.

Megawhatt and Dark Frost looked at Chris. Once they were confident that he was out of harms way, they both leapt out of the way. Megawhatt used a Thundershock while Dark Frost used Faint Attack again.

Both attacks hit, damaging it considerably. Burnt marks from where the electric attack his were visible and the faint attack didn't help the situation. Even angrier that the attack didn't work, the large gyarados flew over for a bite, vicious jaws opened wide, ready for the kill. It aimed for the sneasel, being closer since it had to move in to strike the water pokemon.

((Which Water Pokemon? lol))
Dark Frost cried out in pain as the teeth sunk into him. <Why the hell are you attacking me!?> he asked in frustration as he tried to scratch the Gyrados. Megawhatt didn't attack, knowing that he would risk Dark Frost's safety as well.

{{ooc// I'm not sure ^__^}}
The gyarados paid almost no attention to the scratching due to its rough skin. +Leave my children alone!+ It roared, rearing backward and then leaning frontward and opening its jaws. Scorching hot flames emitted from its mouth; Dragon Breath.

Seeing as Dark Frost was in the Pokemon's mouth at the time, it couldn't dodge the attack. The flames sent Dark Frost crashing into a tree. Dark Frost however stepped forward slowly. "We didn't want to interfere with your family" he gasped out. "We were just retrieving a Pokeball from the water."

Gyarados was typically an aggressive Pokémon, and even a logical explanation wasn't going to dissuade it's viciousness now. Rearing back as if the situation hadn't been explained, Gyarados fired a powerful Dragon Rage.

Dark Frost was really weak now, yet still he took the attack. He had to keep fighting in order to help Chris. He quickly used a Faint Attack while Megawhatt attacked with Thundershock.

Gyarados winced as one of it's opponents disappeared. Suddenly reappearing, Gyarados was caught off guard and knocked down. As an electric attack was thrown at it next, it cried in pain as Thundershock did a sizeable amount of damage.
As this happened, three or four Magikarp surfaced. Flailing helplessly, they appeared to be the children of the Gyarados in dismay as bolts of the electric move shocked the water.

Immediately sensing the danger, Megawhatt sped forward with Quick Attack, planning to grab a pair of Magikarp and rush them to the beach to protect them from harm. Dark Frost, despite his weakness, had used his own Quick Attack to try and help the other two. <We'll help> they told the Gyrados as they sped past.

Moaning loudly, Gyarados' massive form tumbled towards the ground. The beast's head landed just before the trainer, it's long neck stretched across the beach sand. Panting, it was too tired and had been defeated. It's eyes flickered as it searched for it's young.
You defeated Gyarados! All Pokémon under level 20 gain 1 level! All Pokémon above level 20 gain 1/2 a level!
