Two big 'ifs' would determine this Gym.
One; Could her two pokemon manage to use their TM moves without killing themselves.
Two; Could they work together?
Both answers were no, but she probably wouldn't be able to skip this city if she wanted to go to the elite.
But--
Laura was slightly miffed. She was afraid of pokemon; she hated them with a passion. So why did she want to go to the Elite? Her brow furrowed in confusion, deciding to face the Gym, win or lose.
Entering, she looked around. "Anyone... here?" she asked, tentatilvely.

"Of course, a gym leader is always there when you need her" a female voice replied, "Are you here for a match?" Aqua entered the scene almost immediately, making herself known as she presented herself in the gym. Smiling, she toyed with two Pokéballs; that of her Milotic and that of her Sealeo. She looked ready for a battle, but then again, that was her job.

Laura only nodded curtly, clutching two pokeballs in her hands. "Faithe, Fang, work together you too!" she called, releasing the forms of the snake and ferret, the Sentret and Ekans giving their jumble of battle criest before waiting for orders.
"Alright... Fang, Giga Drain!" commanded Laura. The Ekans hissed, lunging foreward into the fray with a Giga Drain attack. It would need all the HP it recieved; the power of the moves could easily overcome the damage it would do in general.
"And Faithe, Thunderbolt!" she commanded, the Sentret commanding a beam of lightning to hit the Sealdo, the Giga Drain aimed at the Milotoc.

"What?" Aqua exclaimed, completely taken by surprise. For low-level Pokémon, they seemed to have attacks that she never would have suspected. Frowning pensively, Aqua knew she needed to get some sort of strategy going. "Mi, dodge and use Water Pulse! Si, use Ice Ball to stop that electric attack!"
Mi whirled over, dodging Giga Drain with relative ease. As she turned, she fired a powerful Water Pulse with intention to confuse her serpentine adversary. Si, on the other hand, released a large Ice Ball. He wasn't aiming to attack, but mainly to defend. Using the clump of ice as a wall, he slid to the side as the Thunderbolt shattered his defense.

The Ekans was equally slick, using the Ice to move and dodge the Water Pulse.
"Double Team... and attack!" said Laura, slightly flustered. The Ekans nodded briefly, using Double Team to create multiple copies of itself before slamming several tails into the ground, causing a wave of rocks, more ice, to hurl towards the Milotic; Rockslide!
The Sentret, knowing that Ice Ball got more powerful with each turn, seemed to do nothing. The only thing noticable was the sun became brighter; enhancing Fire Attacks.
Laura nodded, understanding Faithe's strategy. With the enhanced power, a good flamethrower should be able to destroy the Ice Balls.
The Sentret, after using a powerful blow, now only used Quick Attack on the walrus pokemon.

The elegant snake pokemon quickly tried to slither out of the way, but half of it's body was pummeled by the falling rocks. It wailed in pain, extending it's neck to survey it's wounds, and growled at the puny ekans, using another Water Pulse at the insolent purple snake, and hopefully confuse it in the process.
The walrus pokemon roared as the pitiful squirrel rammed into it's belly, but because of it's enormous defense, the attack barely did anything. Growling, it brought the Ice balls back and hurled them at the foe.

The Water Pulse hit, sending the Ekans skidding across the ice to finally fall against the wall. The Attack was lighter, though, because the Ekans slid away before the pulse crushed it into the wall.
"Now... Double Team?" said Laura, quite unsure. The Ekans made multiple copies of itself, each turning to the Milotoc and using Rockslide. A wave of rocks was sent towards it!
Laura did not have time to order her Sentret to dodge, but Faithe had the sense. Opening her mouth wide, she used a Flamethrower to melt the Ice pushing her back.
After that, the pokemon fell back. The sun was still going strong, helping the Flamethrower but the whole idea of such a powerful attack exhasted it.

"Alright, Si, Mi, fall back! Regroup and use a double Water Gun! Give it all you got!" Aqua encouraged.
Si held his position and fired early as he tried to repel the boosted Flamethrower being fired towards him. Mi, on the other hand, would manage to dodge the Rock Slide just to turn around with Si and launch her own Water Gun. Both attacks were aimed at either Pokémon and crossed the area as they turned their heads, making it both accurate and causing the field to become a mudbath.

The two huddled together in the middle of the field as the lines of water came towards them.
Finally, however, Laura was catching on. As both attacks got closer, she cried out.
"Faithe, Solar Beam!"
Now she understood why the Sentret had used Sunny Day. Not only did it save energy but granted no hesitation as it used the attack. The force sent the two pokemon into the wall, just as the water met the Solarbeam split it in two and kept going towards the Sealdo.
"Now, you two, don't let them do that again! Keep them busy!" commanded Laura. She wasn't to the point when she yelled out her pokemon's attacks, but they seemed to work well together, despite hating eachother.
Resorting to elementary attacks, Fang the Ekans sent a large shower of Poison Stings towards the Milotic, best case poisoning on contact.
Faithe used a combo of defense curl and quick attack, using a make-shift rollout attack and using the fallen ice from the Solar Beam to create a large ball of ice rolling at intense speeds towards the Sealdo.
Laura's eyebrows went up. The two, especially Faithe, was creative. Fang was more of a pokemon who worked solitary, but Faithe was perfect for two on two battles.
The Shiny Wurmple on her shoulder began chewing on one of her curls in interest.

The sealio(sp?) managed to evade the solar beam, but was soon knocked back by the force of the attack made creatively by Faithe. It roared, moving it's sluggish body back up, and used an Ice Ball on the sentret angrily.
Mi screeched as it's graceful body was punctured by most of the poison stingers, and it resorted to tugging them out of it's elegant body with it's teeth. Finally after that, it felt it's health go down from the poison. Lovely. "MILOTIC!!!" It shrieked angrily, and it used a Water Pulse on Fang.

The two pokemon were exhausted, each being hit by there respective attacks.
The two fell back.
Laura frowned. Was she pushing them to hard? Evidentally yes.
The two managed to get up, but Faithe seemed more interested in the Milotoc than the seel now. Another idea?
The two met eachother's eyes, nodding.
The Ekans used a weak Rockslide towards the Sealo, while the Sentret hovered out of reach of the Milotoc's tail, gathering itself before doing its next move.
ooc; There's water on the field, right? 'cause it's the water gym?
xD I watched an episode... vs. a Milotic... And they did something very special.

((Yup. ^^ And coool... what did they do? XD))
The Milotic bleeted at the Sentret in confusion, and waved it's tail around to swat the annoying little squirrel pokemon away.
The Sealio roared as it was pummeled by the rocks, and it could feel it's health slowly draining. Finally, it managed to pull itself back up, and shot an Ice Ball at the snake pokemon, and hopefully score a hit. They looked like they would kneel over and faint at any moment...

ooc; heh. Watch. xD Assume the Milotic is in the water and viola! Scene with Pikachu vs. Milotic, except with a Sentret!
ic; Laura watched the Sentret with befuddlement. "Uhm... Do your thing Faithe." she said, confused. Turning to her Ekans, she commaded Fang to wrap the ball, crushing it with its powerful embrace. "Now, Giga Drain!" she commanded, turning to watch Faithe.
Indeed, the little Sentret did have a plan. When the tail attemtped to swat her away, the young Sentret intsead began climbing the Milotic.
It was all or nothing now. Faithe needed to get to the top of the Milotic, where it could grab the 'ribbons' that fell from its head. After this, it would jump OVER the Milotic, therefore bringing the Milotic with it.
Water conducts electricity. If she could get the Milotic in the water, still holding on to the ribbons, she'd use Thunderbolt.
Praying against the odds, the Sentret began to climb.

Aqua crossed her arms boredly. She had this in the bag. Si, however, was not quite as confident. Hit by a devastating Giga Drain attack, he felt his energy depleat as his foe leached his power from him. Frustrated, he used a desperate Powder Snow at close range, aiming to freeze Ekans so that he could free himself from it.
Mi, on the other hand, was a little calmer with the situation. How many times had that old trick been tried before?... All she needed was a ground so that she could hurl that squirrel menace to the floor. Mi's appendages swung around as she bought herself some time. Sentret would have to grab them, so the best thing she could do was stall as she avoided contact with the water. Slithering from the pool in the centre, she then proceeded to retaliate. Smashing her side down, she attempted to pin Sentret to the floor. She continued her move by using Water Pulse next.

ooc; Ug. Way to ruin my spiffy combo. >.>
Nah. xD
ic; The Sentret winced as it was unable to issue its combo, only weakly grabbing on to its immense tail before it was hit with the Water Pulse.
One last chance. The Milotic was still wet from the water. The water should still be conducted. Summoning its energy, it used another Thunderbolt.
"Earthquake!" said Laura sharply, right before the Powder Snow hit and froze the Ekans solid. Nothing happened for a moment. Then, slowly...
At first, a gentle hum. The ground vibrated gently, but the thing became more violent. Tiny cracks appeared along the ice, growing larger and larger as the shaking became more violent.
Feeling like a rag doll, it was all Faithe could do to hold on, lifting up her tail which was currently on the ground to hopefully avoid damage.
Finally, the ice shattered. Fang, rigid with movement, did nothing but a low threatening rattle, his tail vibrating as violently as the earthquake that had just occured.

Both Pokémon were effected by Earthquake, not to mention the field. Large cracks now seperated pieces of land and made it harder to make continuous moves. Milotic, cut off by a large rock was thrown backwards and found herself in a pit. She couldn't get up from the crevice, but discovered that the attack had also allowed her to escape Thunderbolt's wrath. Shaking her head, she found herself in a new situation.
Si, on the other hand, was also caught in the powerful Earthquake attack. Shaken up (literally), he tried to regain himself and used Powder Snow to fill in the ground near him. Unsure of what to do, he used Water Gun, aimed at Ekans.

Loose Debris. Perfect.
The Earthquake had a larger effect than expected, but succesful. As the water gun soared towards the Ekans, the pokemon used a Rockslide, the loose debris only strengthening the power. Blocking the water gun like some kind of snowy wall, it continued towards the Sealdo.
The Sentret hesitated, weather from exhaustion or puzzlement. It settled using a Foresigt, seeing into the future to hopefully stop a surprise attack.

Si bellowed, frustrated that it's attack had failed, but fortunately slid out of the way of the large rocks. After resting for a few seconds, it roared and performed a devastating Ice Ball attack, which was sent at the ekans. The enormous balls of ice, however, hit the walls of the crevice, widening it.
The snake pokemon slithered every which way, anxious to if it was going to be attacked by surprise or if it could find a way to escape the crevice that it was trapped in. "Milotic," It wailed. Then it paused in thought. "Milo," It said, after gaining an idea. Then it used Water Pulse, filling the crevice with Water, but getting itself confused, because it was in the Water Pulse itself. "Milotic," It said, hitting itself with a Tackle... if that was possible.

Was she allowed to use items? Only one way to find out. She pulled out three things; One, a Potion which she quickly used on Faithe.
The others...? One seemed to be... A berry? She fed it to her Ekans, watching as the pokemon's form morphed to become larger... Cobra-like. Arbok. The Pokemon hissed in satisfaction. Laura, though surprised, looked thrilled. The Enigma Berry restored all health and evolved her Ekans... funny. Perhaps that explained the heavy price.
Faithe was merely givin a bright green candy... though it didn't do much, the Sentret seemed to like candy...
"Alright you too, aim for the seal thing!" said Laura, her two pokemon using there own respective moves, the Arbok a Giga Drain and the Sentret a Thunderbol.

An Arbok?! Why all of the sudden? A little flustered, Aqua bit her lip.
With Milotic incapacitated and Sealeo completely on his own, it was virtually impossible for the already-tired Pokémon to escape the wrath of two attacks. Bellowing in pain, he crumpled to the floor; defeated.
"This isn't over!" Aqua exclaimed. She had other tricks up her sleave...
