Training.
The only word that mattered right now was that one; Training. Her Krabby, being the least ideal pokemon to engage with battle with electric types, needed a lot of training.
A small frown crossed Cigno's face as she considered her Horsea, her starter. Saddly, she would probably never use it. Her three favorite pokemon were male, and always would be in her mind. The Pokeball lay discarded in her pack. She would put the pokemon up for trade later, maybe even for a Male Horsea.
Ah, well.
Her footsteps crunched against the gravel as the terrain became more and more rugged, Cigno eventually finding herself on Route One; The beggining.

Suddenly a wild Spinarak drops down right in front of your face. (Real Short... and I used a random pokemon generator as well

Cigno flinched slightly, but she felt no fear towards the bug as she pulled out the shining red-and-white pokeball.
"Krabby, use Vicegrip." she commanded sharply. The Krabby scuttled foreward, claw gloing as it tried to snap the thread that the Spinark was on.
"Now, Bubblebeam!" she commanded, her Krabby opening a claw to release a powerful torrent of bubbles towards the spider.

The Spinarak let out a cry as the tread snapped and it fell on the ground. "Spina!" Sticky thread shot out of the bug's mouth as it used a string shot, trying to wrap the crab-like pokemon into a cacoon.

The Krabby attempted to use Vicegrip to break the threads before they reached, but there were to many.
"Harden. Break free." Cigno commanded. The Krabby stopped struggeling, a shine coming over it as hardened. Suddenly, it broke through the tangle of string, sending a Mud Shot towards the spider.

The spider pokemon squeaked as it was covered in gooey mud, losing some of it's precious speed. It shook it's little green body soon after.
The bug chattered and gained a menacing look, twisting the features of it's face to seem the most frightening. Scary Face.
((Uck. Mud sport and Mud shot... I get those mixed up. e__e; Edit'd.))

ooc; Mud Sport weakens electric moves. Mud Shot 'Hurls mud at the foe and reduces SPEED.' xD
ic; The Krabby cowered at the Scary Face, but used Leer and equalled the glare, hopefully to lower the spider's defense.
"Another Bubblebeam, Krabby." commanded Cigno, frowning slightly as the second powerful torrent was sent towards the bug.

The green bug hopped out of the way just in time, then released a poison sting on the krab to hopefully cause a little damage. It could inflict poison as well, if hit correctly...

"Harden." commanded Cigno. The crab nodded, the Stings ping-ing off the shining plates. "Now, Mudshot. Make it harder to escape, followed by Bubblebeam."

It was hit by mudshot, again lowering it's defenses, and was also hit critically by the bubblebeam. It collapsed on the dirt-covered ground, eyes fluttering closed.
All participating pokemon under lvl 20 gain 1 lvl! If not, 1/2 a lvl.
Attempt a capture or Move on?

ooc; If it's level twenty exactly, it gains one level, right? Because on the rules they say if the pokemon is five to twewnty it gains one level...?
ic; Cigno chose to ignore the Spinark. Picking it up and placing it on the branch, out of harms way and hopefully near its web, she continued down the Route with her Krabby by her side.
"Defense over Offense, Krabby. I still plan to go through two more battles before we move on. You'll need to keep your endurance up." said Cigno, watching her Krabby scuttle by her side.

((Yeah, I guess those lvl 20'ers get a level. ^w^))
"Jiggly! Jigglypuff!" A cry echoed, and suddenly a little pink puffball of a pokemon jumped out in front of you, with a microphone. (How original. XD) Then it started singing into the microphone, even tiring itself out.

Oh please no.
Cigno clapped her hands firmly over her ears, but the song still came in.
She began to feel sleepy, her Krabby too but slightly less from its lack of ears. Seeing that it would be a good time to attack, it scuttled at the Jigglypuff with Metal Claw, attempting to shut it up.

Jigglypuff was still singing and didn't notice the crab scuttling up to it to attack. As soon as it was hit, it spiraled backwards, landing with a thud on it's stomach. Face red with anger, it sang even louder into the microphone.

The Krabby was taken unaware by the increasement, narrowing its eyes in anger and sleepiness. Cigno was on the verge of falling asleep. Her eyelids were flitting.
The Krabby, hoping to shut the pokemon up, used a Vicegrip towards the Microphone in hopes to snap it in half with one claw, the other with a Metal Claw over the head.

The jigglypuff got frantic and used pound on the crab's claws, hoping to at least get them off of the microphone. Alas, the jigglypuff's plans didn't work, and it watched with sorrow as the microphone split into pieces.
For a moment, it just stared at the halves of the microphone with a gawk. Then, it seemed like an erupting volcano as it screeched at the top of it's little lungs, getting out a permanent marker. Then it pounced on Cigno, ready to draw glasses and a moustache on the girl's face. ((Again, how original. DX))

ooc; xD
ic; Cigno's face, about to meet the face (literally) of permenent marker got a nasty surprise. Mid-way through the glasses, the Krabby finally decided that the Jigglypuff would need to be. . . removed. A nasty shock to wake up in the light of a Bubblebeam attack.
Cigno screamed, seeing the Jigglypuff pushed herself against the tree. Not only was she stiff as a Sudowoodo.
The Krabby, however, continued with the Bubblebeam towards the Jigglypuff (and it's trainer) in hopes that being permenent marker faced was worse than being attacked by a Bubblebeam.

Jigglypuff pouted and jumped out of the way, leaving only Cigno in the bubble's path. The puffball snickered as it watched how it would happen, getting ready to pound the krabby when the time was right.

The Krabby stopped immediatly, leaving his trainer to regather her bearings before using a Metal Claw attack in hopes that Pysical moves would be better at hitting.

The Metal Claw hit the Jigglypuff full in the face, the heavy blow knocking the Normal-type senseless. Dizzily, it tried to land a Rollout attack.
