Cazz wandered into the gym with her new friend Aryll. "It looks a lot like the first gym." She commented. "Excuse me. We're looking for a battle with the gym leader here. Two on two? We'll each use one pokemon!" She walked up to the battle field, hoping that Ary was following.

A water gym? Hmm... I think I'd be best off using an electric type, then, Aryll thought, as she followed Cazz into the gym. "I've never done a double battle like this before," Aryll told Cazz. "I wonder if our Pokemon will cooperate well enough for it to work. Well, I think we'll win nomatter what!" she said confidently.

Aqua was still showing off her pokemon when the two trainers came inside. She turned abruptly towards them when she heard their echoing footsteps, and smiled. "Of course." Then she heard Ary's comment but kept her thoughts to herself, pushing the urge to say something rude away. She simply smiled softer at Ary, blinking.
She walked to her platform and threw out her chosen pokemon, looking at the two trainers and the thrown balls.
"Mi!!" "Seal!!"
"You two can go first." She said, crossing her arms.

"Go Owl!" The Hoothoot came out into battle. "Lets see what you're made of! Use Peck on Si!" She turned to Aryll. "Who're you going to use?"

Hmm... I've got an advantage by the type, but the gym leader's Pokemon are at higher levels... I wonder how this'll turn out... "Go, Queen!" She tossed a Pokeball and a Korinku, her starter Pokemon at Chai, was released. Aryll watched as Cazz released the Hoothoot. Oh, no... this is bad... Korinku, who had been watching Seal and Mi, turned her head when she noticed that a Hoothoot was released. She hissed angrily, but stopped when Aryll yelled at her and commanded her to use Spark. Aryll turned to Cazz. "Queen has a problem when it comes to flying types... Just be careful of your Hoothoot..."

Si roared as the bird pokemon pecked at it, but it simply shot a wave of water at it to cause damage while it was still close; Water gun.
Mi shrieked in horror, feeling the electricity run through it's snake-like body, but soon got back on it's feet (o.O). It screeched angrily, and used a Water Pulse on the Korinku.

Queen was unable to dodge, and so she was hit by the powerful water attack. Its strength, along with the fact that the floor was now slippery as ice, forced her backward until she crashed into the wall. "Queen, quickly! You can still hit it with an electric attack. Use its water moves against it!" While the stream of water was still coming at her, Queen charged her body with electricity and blasted it down the water stream, aiming the Spark directly at the Milotic.

Owl was hit by water gun, and shaking the water out of it's feathers, used Peck again. "Good Owl, but make sue to keep away from Queen, or she may shock you!" She smiled at Aryll, "I'm sure they'll be fine!"

"Okay" Aqua began, pausing a little, "Si, create an ice shield using Ice Ball - protect Mi! Mi, take that bird out of the sky, use Water Pulse!"
Sliding infront, the Sealeo fired a series of Ice Ball attacks to create a barrier. At the same time, Mi used Water Pulse as she aimed for Owl. After the powerful electric attack, the ice shattered. It had done it's job in protecting both Pokémon, but there was no guarantee they'd seen the last of their weakness...

Owl managed to dodge the Water Pulse, and tryed another Peck, making sure to keep away from Queen. It certainly wouldn't be good if Owl was shocked.
(Sorry for the short post! My arms are hurting to type!)

Mi growled loudly. The Peck had come in contact with her head. It left a significant dent and she released a powerful Water Gun out of rage without even thinking. It wasn't very accurate, but if it hit, it was sure to do siginificant damage. Si, on the other hand, was relatively calm.
"Mi, relax!" Aqua yelled, afraid that her Pokémon may be it's undoing, "Si, Powder Snow!" Sighing, Si used a Powder Snow aimed at Queen.

Out of instinct, Queen defended herself from the Powder Snow. A glow surrounded her body as it charged with electricity, until finally unleashing a powerful blast that lit the whole gym and melted the Powder Snow coming at her... the problem was that it took much of her energy to perform the move. "Queen, help Owl. End the Milotic's Water Gun attack with a Spark!" Queen shook her wet fur, a few sparks visible when she did so. She glared at Si, but smirked when she noticed how close Owl was to Mi. Now's my chance... stupid bird... She dashed a bit closer to the Milotic, charging her next electric attack as she ran. When she released it, aiming mostly at Mi, she sent a small bit of electricity to hit the Hoothoot as well, but tried to make it look like an accident. Luckily, the aim was off and only went toward Mi. "Queen!" Aryll yelled, angrily. "I saw what you tried to do!" She turned to Cazz. "See? I told you she wouldn't cooperate with any bird Pokemon, no matter what... Owl might be in danger.. Just say the word and I'll switch Queen out for another Pokemon."

Owl was hit by a bit of the water, as she tried to dodge, but wasn't hurt too badly from it. She turned to Ary. "No, Queen has a really good type advantage! You can't switch her out." She thought for a moment. "Owl, you'll just have to be careful! There's no point in switching you out now, it's better that you just stay in. Make sure you're careful! Now, use tackle!" Owl dived towards Mi, hoping that this would deal a lot of damage. She wasn't exactly doing all that well in this fight so far.

"!!!" Aqua gasped, "Si, use Water Gun on the ground! Follow up with Powder Snow to create ice! Get out of there! Mi, Water Pulse!" Damn. They were in a tight situation now, practically unable to attack effectively this turn. What could she do? Her foes were gaining the upper hand...
Performing his moves quickly and professionally, Si narrowly avoided the vicious electric attacks aimed at finishing him off. He'd almost been a bit lucky, but he had dodged nonetheless and had saved his ass. Mi appeared in the line of fire again, and was struck by both Pokémon. First, with a nasty Spark attack, and secondly with a vicious tackle to completely knock her down. Groaning, she fought to stay in the battle. Sadly, Mi could not retaliate this turn.

"Well done Owl! Use tackle again!" She turned to Aryll. "This is going better that I had expected it to! What do you think? I hope Queen doesn't attack Owl again!"

"I think our Pokemon are doing great," Aryll said to Cazz. "Even though they won't cooperate, they do work well alone." As the wet floor was freezing over with ice, Queen jumped up to avoid getting her feet frozen to the floor. When she came back down, she slipped on the ice and couldn't seem to stay on her feet. Hissing at the foes, she attempted to run, but she got nowhere and simply fell down again. "Queen, attack Mi with Spark! Finish it off!"

Mi screeched angrily, as it was hit by both tackle and spark. Giving out one last breath, it finally allowed it's tired head to fall freely, and it came down with a thud that cracked the tough ice. Aqua called it back into it's pokeball with a solemn glance.
She sighed. "Si, use Ice ball! Full power!" She shouted, hoping that it would work. The walrus-like pokemon bellowed in response, and a large stream of circular-shaped ice emitted from it's mouth, aiming themselves at the two foes: Queen and Owl.

Owl, realising that Queen had a good advantage, flew in front of her, and took the full blast of the Ice Ball. Soaring backwards, and falling to the ground in a dead faint, Cazz returned her, and sent out her next pokemon. This happened to be Flare. "Flare, use Powder Snow!" She hoped that Queen would get along with Flare better than she did with Owl.

Queen watched as Owl was returned, then she glanced at her trainer. "If her attacks were powered up," Aryll said to herself, "Queen would be able to take down the foe much faster..." She looked to her Pokemon, and called out, "Use Charge!" Queen began charging up her electric attack power for the next move.

Aqua wasn't messing around now. She couldn't afford another hit. "Si, dodge Powder Snow! Follow up with your own! Stop that Charge attack!"
If a big electric attack hit Si, Aqua was finished. She knew better than to let herself lose this way. Determined to end a potential finishing blow, Si skidded to the side and sent a freezing Powder Snow at Queen. A little bewildered, however, he was surprised when he saw Flare, completely unaware that such a creature existed.
